Pros: Security. Value For The Money. Customer Support. Reporting. Performance and speed. Accuracy. Task Tracking.
Rami K. · Manager · Retail · April 26, 2026
I use it all the time for all my work it helps me out with shortcuts for reports. Overall it is a useful software.
Pros: This works great in so many ways. There are so many applications and useful tabs to access many reports needed to help you or just easy day to day simple things.
Cons: I would say the search bar. Sometimes it is hard to search or access things. On top of saving it is not easy to find later. Other than that is is very helpful.

Pros: Dynamics 365 Business Central offers strong reporting tools, reliable security, and smooth integration with other Microsoft products. Performance is generally fast, and the interface is intuitive once you get used to it. Customer support is helpful, and the system handles expense tracking and financial processes efficiently.

Cons: Some features feel overly complex for new users, and occasional bugs can slow down workflows. Customisation can be limited without technical expertise, and certain modules require extra configuration to perform at their best.
Hameeda T. · Analyst · Financial Services · April 1, 2026
Pros: The program is easy to use, and allows me to have access to all of the programs that I require to run my business.
Cons: The price is a bit steep, which would be okay if you didn't have to renew ever year. I would prefer to pay a bit more, but have it last 5 years.

My experience with Dynamics has been very positive with it being a great tool for reporting and drilling down through transactions.
Pros: Dynamics is an excellent system which has a large variety of reporting abilities. The dynamics system is very good under stress of large volumes of transactions.
Cons: The only issue with dynamics is that it can be very overwhelming without prior experience and is quite complex.
Ethan J. · Auditor · Accounting · February 28, 2026
Since we migrated from NAV 2016 to BC, the overall experience has been positive. Thanks to its high flexibility for extensions, we've successfully streamlined our own WMS and EDI integrations.
Pros: I greatly appreciate BC's high degree of flexibility and scalability. Building upon its foundational architecture, we can freely expand the system to meet our company's specific requirements.
Cons: SaaS information processing is subject to network conditions. If network outages or server disruptions occur—as happened previously—it can cause business interruptions. While such incidents are rare, they still carry significant consequences. We hope to transition back to an on-premises solution.
Song L. · Full-Stack Engineer · Warehousing · February 17, 2026
It's positive, but ultimately we could get more out of the system, our implementation partner was poor, but with a better partner we are realising the benefit of the software.
Pros: It is a scalable product. We started out with a team of 5 and now at a team of 60 worldwide, this product is ready and available to scale when you are.
Cons: It requires someone with a developers background to get the most out of it, we were sold on it being a flexible system which it is, but only in the right hands.
Liam M. · Head of Operations · Automotive · January 13, 2026
Very greqt experience with a great user interface. Great for small medium abd large businesses. I highly recommend this product and have to my friends businesses
Pros: Dynamics 365 Business Central is a pretty good product with many modules for different aspects of your business. From finance to sales to purchases and inventory, assembly and manufacturing.
Cons: The downsize is its on the cloud and your subscription fee monthly is perpetual for for the rest of your life. Once the data is on the cloud, its painful to move back to on premise
Ray W. · Consultant · Computer Software · November 10, 2025
Overall, it has been great. We just recently upgraded to a new version and during that process, we have learned so much about the system and things we can use it for to make our operations even more efficient.
Pros: Business Central has endless capabilities to help manage orders, inventory and accounting function. It can be a core software to get a business up and running.
Cons: With the size of the software, it can be difficult to know where to find certain functions, or to even know that they exist.
Kevin D. · Regulatory Coordinator · Transportation/Trucking/Railroad · October 1, 2025
Dynamics 365 was very easy to setup. Customer support was fantastic and provided quick solutions in a timely manner.
Pros: It's great being able to get real time updated information. I can quickly log in see what my staff is seeing and help with problem solving or answering questions.
Cons: I don't like that the files are integrated with my personal desktop. They are separated but I have to scroll through a lot of unnecessary options.
Stacey S. · Member Services · Health, Wellness and Fitness · September 28, 2025
Overall I believe Dynamics 365 can really enhance our business by making it more efficient and It will grow as we surpass our entry level phase.
Pros: It improves efficiency, it improves decision making by giving real time performance metrics and it's deigned to grow with our company.
Cons: It took a while to prepare and learn to use. It depends on your role in the company and how you intend to use to really get on board with it.

Overall a great experience due to easy and intuitive interface and having all the products I loved in one place.
Pros: Loved how everything was included in one package which made things easy, affordable and had great speed
Cons: I switched when I went to a MacBook and no longer needed everything included with 365 business central
Anonymous User · owner · Health, Wellness and Fitness · September 22, 2025
Overall, Business Central is a powerful, scalable ERP that's easy to manage and integrates well, but requires training and dev skills for full potential.
Pros: Integrates well with Microsoft 365, secure, cloud-based, easy to manage, supports extensions, and works great with Power Platform tools.
Cons: Limited customization without AL dev skills; steep learning curve for new users; occasional sync issues with third-party apps.
Justin G. · IT Specialist · Food & Beverages · July 16, 2025
We had high hopes for Business Central transitioning off QuickBooks, but found BC to be pretty limited and difficult to use for the majority of our users. We find that normal functionality out of an ERP system often requires customizations in Business Central. We are overall disappointed with the product.
Pros: Being a Microsoft product has innate ease for sign-in and organizational management. I also like how there are many add-ins available as well. Beyond that, there aren't many things we like about the product.
Cons: The reporting functionality is very limited, as it seems like any reporting that we need is custom functionality. I also don't like how BC isn't natively integrated with other Microsoft Dynamics products and requires third-party connector tools.
Christian D. · Manager · Medical Devices · June 20, 2025
Overall, D365 has been a great resource for our organization. As a Sales org, the ERP capabilities with D365 are exactly what we need. The trainings available are also incredibly helpful, especially with updates and when training new hires. While some of the customization impedes the efficiency of the platform, we've found ways to mitigate this while still having the system meet our needs.
Pros: D365 is a great ERP packed full of features for mid-sized companies. We use the across all of our locations, including US and Canada. The support we receive from Microsoft is also amazing.
Cons: D365 has a lot of capability, but we've found that when customizing too much, it can lead to lag with the platform. Recently, we've scaled back the customized features and have noticed an improvement in experience.

Overall like I said, I don’t really have complaints and the good outweighs the bad. Big help in pushing productivity faster.
Pros: This helped organize and separate my different programs I was working on. Really helped streamline and keep everything together.
Cons: I don’t really have anything I can fault it for. Some of the switching between programs was confusing.
Austin F. · Manager · Consumer Goods · May 20, 2025
365 Business pretty much is a top-in-class integrated software for businesses and once you started using it, for obvious reasons and complications with data transfers, it's unlikely that I will switch to another competitor as there are barely any.
Pros: It's an all-in-one that is great for any business and team work, with access to all office tools and to a shared drive. Can also be accessed on mobile devices through 365 pilot which gives added accessibility suitable for hybrid working and remote working.
Cons: Glitches in the app and browser sometimes which cause instability. There are times when I can access it on the browser but error messages keep appearing when I try to access it via mobile devices which is quite annoying. Customer Support also tends to be slow and inefficient when something goes wrong.
Athena M. · Account Manager · Marketing and Advertising · May 10, 2025
Once trained properly on how to use this software it allows you to know what your business's needs are and what you can do to overcome issues later on.
Pros: Allowing our company to see the growth financially, and if something is wrong with the reports.
Cons: It can be quite difficult to understand at first, and also take quite bit of your time however once you get the hang of it - its quite easy.
Alifah A. · Accounting Assistant · Hospital & Health Care · May 1, 2025
I loved it I would choose this over almost all other options.
Pros: I love how easy it is to navigate and understand everything.
Cons: Honestly there wasn't anything that I didn't like.
Cheyanne M. · Owner · Entertainment · March 24, 2025
It has been positive. As we get into it more, we will be able to utilize its capabilities.
Pros: The look and feel of BC. The ability to get information in the system we need to complete our manufacturing process.
Cons: Lost some of the ability to get around and menu layout from NAV.
Doug M. · CFO · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · March 20, 2025
My experience has been great, the company made the right decision when decided to work wuth Dynamics.
Pros: I has been using Dynamics for almost a year now, and i can say i an pleased. We use it to keep the records of flights times, arrival and departures, the amount of passengers in and out every day. But the one i like the most is to document what facilities we use for each flight. We have other use for it, like purchasing and invoicing department and others.
Cons: If you are not very savvy at technology you may have some.hard times, but when you get used to it, you will be good to go. After you acquire the software you can not make more adjustments or personalize it without contacting the customer service.
Jelfry S. · Facilitación · Airlines/Aviation · March 12, 2025
Very costly. It took a very long time and expensive too to convert a client from QBO to this program. Considering my experience is extensive in this field it took a very long time to learn this program.
Pros: It supports a robust inventory. Has multiple functions
Cons: Functions are not clear and not supported by accounting standards. It is difficult to navigate. Modules don't relate to accounting principles. Very convoluted. The support is costly. Support does not have accounting knowledge.
Susie S. · Accounting Manager · Accounting · February 1, 2025
Pros: It's integrated within our office 365 platform and connects everyone in a central way for analytics on accounting and sales forecasts.
Cons: It sits too far outside of our Salesforce platform.
Anonymous User · Software Engineer · Retail · January 18, 2025
Pros: User friendly interface, easy to learn and easy to impliment.
Cons: It lacks some modern touch up of software interface.
Abhay M. · Software developer · Computer Software · January 9, 2025
The product us very flexible and unlike other ERP softwares it does not fail or bug.
Pros: Aesthetics and functionalities of the software. Flexibility of the product and ease of use.
Cons: Downstream implications is the only issue that we have e experienced during implementation of the software.
