Diligent Boards

Pros: I use Diligent Boards is for preparing and disseminating the Board Books, structuring the agenda and aggregating all the documentation pertinent to a meeting into a single location. As part of my new regular routine, I upload documents and update the board books close to the time of the meeting so that directors can find the information they need both prior to and during each meeting.

Cons: Although certain aspects of the interface are somewhat antiquated and some of the features such as Search etc, take a bit of time to get used to. And there is an occasional lag during peak times of the day when I’m trying to push through rapid fire updates.

Pros: I use Diligent Boards to run our board meetings, designing and distributing materials to gathering approvals and signatures. The coolest thing is how easy it is to both tweak and share board books, even at the last moment. It saves a ton of time because I don’t have to repost entire packets when one document changes as everything is always up to date and organized for the board.

Cons: Sometimes the interface seems a bit dated and could do with some better navigation such as when I want to go back and forth between two sections or browse through past documents. Some of our less tech savvy directors still have to be reminded about how to access or sign materials but that can slow you down.

Pros: User friendly admin experience and love the search feature.

Cons: Losing user notes when having to replace a document.

Pros: Very intuitive, easy to use and we receive great technical support from the team

Cons: Would like to have ability to keep notes if document is replaced after feature has been used. Happy to provide more information about this.

Pros: Easy to use, very helpful customer service and a dedicated team to ensure our company has what it needs

Cons: The price is a bit steep if you're a limited user of the platform, but there are many training opportunities to see everything Diligent has to offer to make the most of your subscription.

Pros: It helps organize my board service in one location including archive material, current material and other resources.

Cons: There are really no down sides for me. The site was easy to learn and is a one stop resource. The only con is that I did not know of Diligent when I was a non-profit President. I certainly would have used it.

Pros: Easy sign on, intuitive to navigate and good customer support when needed

Cons: I don't have any issues with Diligent -- nothing problematic comes to mind

Pros: Easy access and easy to navigate. Easy to use in board meetings and easy to move from one agenda item to the next with different views.

Cons: I can’t think of anything I’m not satisfied with

Pros: User friendly interface with intuitive navigation, making it easy to access and manage board confidential documents. Its security is robust.

Cons: Some of our users may find the initial setup and onboarding process time consuming. Additionally, occasional system updates can temporarily affect usability, viewing videos or quality of graphics in word documents at times might be problematic.

Pros: Dashboards are customized, everything is right there.

Cons: Customizing the dashboard is extremely difficult.

Pros: Uploading of documents is easy; dashboard is a nice feature.

Cons: Does not have the capabilities that were confirmed in pre-contract discussions/demos; unable to edit or rename documents directly in Diligent Boards portal; admin module is not user friendly.

Pros: It is very efficient as it is structured and designed for usage by board directors.

Cons: It would be helpful to have more parameters when searching for prior documents or files. If they could add date range, or other parameters to narrow down what comes up would be helpful.

Pros: The app is easy to navigate and files can be accessed when offline

Cons: I have a Samsung tablet and the app doesn't work because of a software bug. I was told they're working on a solution but no results so far. I travel for our meetings and rely heavily on my tablet.

Pros: It is useful for gathering and distributing board materials. It is easy to find previous meeting materials. The sections are easy to access and the system overall is user friendly.

Cons: Access the new account took a short while to figure out

Cons: Sometimes it becomes too slow in performance and there is lag in performance

Pros: Nice to have all Board materials in one place. Printing function is pretty good Easier to use on an ipad than a computer re: turning pages

Cons: Would like some way to know when things are added and what was added.

Cons: I wish that we had the ability to edit documents within diligent once they've been uploaded

Pros: It is incredibly user-friendly and comprehensible, so much so, that I rarely need to reach out for assistance regarding functionality. Further, the customer service is responsive with impressive follow-through.

Cons: Occasionally there will be an unexpected update to the system, but only once did this cause and issue and it was quickly remedied by the team.

Pros: Well organized, concise and with a library of source documents. Diligent Boards has it all.

Cons: As a user for over 5 years I’ve not yet found anything I don’t like.

Pros: The product's features work as described and meet our board members' needs.

Cons: Their support is slow to respond to our requests, even simple requests such as adding a user.

Pros: Comprehensiveness of Board Materials is the best aspect of Diligent Boards

Cons: Site Navigation can sometimes be confusing

Pros: The organization of having all the materials on one portal

Cons: I run into issues uploading files even with the max capacity.
