My overall experience with this tool is great. The too is easy to use so scheduling meeting and collaboration of members is excellent. I like that this tool helps the board members work more efficiently which has led to high productivity in the company.
Pros: Boardable has great features that that gives value for our money. It makes board management easy and efficient which promotes to high productivity as board members are able to collaborate with efficiency. The tool is very easy to navigate so new users do not need much team to navigate.
Cons: Boardable has been an excellent tool in board management for the company. I do not have any dislikes on this tool.

Our biggest issue with Boardable came when we decided not to renew. Boardable requires 30 days’ notice of cancellation before your subscription runs out, so be wary. Your renewal date is at least 30 days before your actual renewal date. Additionally, our subscription increased 20.5% year over year, though Boardable did not mention it. If you don't compare it to your previous year's subscription, you will be blind to the increase. Boardable's renewal policy seems inconsistent with good-faith renewal provisions.
Pros: Boardable was our first Board Management tool and we found it helpful. It was great to pull together an Agenda and have all the supporting documents in one place. Minute taking was a breeze before the AI minutes.

Pros: It is easy to share documents and agenda with people attending my meetings. Some of our board members are not tech savvy but they find Boardable easy to use.
Cons: Sometimes we battle with email invite, people either don’t see it or find it hard to access. They could also look into making a Mobile app.
Odukunle A. · Enhance care staff · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 13, 2025
It's very easy to set up meetings, add documents for review and invite Board members to meetings. The video conferencing wasn't for us.
Pros: It is really easy to set up my meetings and collaborate with colleagues on agendas, minutes and board packs prior to the meetings. Some of our board members are a little older and not too comfortable with technology, but they have no issues accessing what they need.
Cons: We tried the video conferencing once and found it glitchy and reverted back to Teams. We have hybrid meetings, and it was just easier to stick to Teams which we have had no issues with.

Overall our experience has been very favorable, I believe it has helped to improve the engagement of our board and has been a good tool.
Pros: The process of making an agenda and sending out invites is effortless, love the template option to make creating recurring events easy.
Cons: It is sometimes slow to load a large board packet. It is not a huge issue but it does cause some confusion for new users.
Todd A. · Systems Manager · Non-Profit Organization Management · July 28, 2025
Boardable has been an intuitive tool that supports board management with efficiency especially before, during and after meetings. It is very easy to use, reliable and efficient. It allows our company to have a collaborative and transparent leadership.
Pros: Boardable is very user friendly. It that allows our board members conduct all meetings with ease to keep the company functional and productive. It is very easy to learn how to use this tool. I also like the task tracking and follow-up capabilities in this tool. It helps ensure all discussed agenda is completed on time.
Cons: Boardable is great seamless tool. For the few months I have used this tool I have not encountered any difficulties.
Khaoula B. · Acoounts Manager · Broadcast Media · July 24, 2025
Overall, the experience has been great! everyone can collaborate in one place.
Pros: we can have internal and external users in one place. all documentation and schedules can be in one place for everyone to review.
Cons: It took some time to figure out how to navigate the site. The learning curve was a bit challenging but we did overcome this.
Tonia B. · Director of IT · Non-Profit Organization Management · May 5, 2025
I had used boardable a few times for collaborative work, and it was very breezy
Pros: Easy to make a board and share it and You can try it out and just work on it occasionally
Cons: It could be a bit if you got additional project management features and you might look at other tools as well
Kimb W. · Owner · Design · March 16, 2025
It is very useful to keep all board members up to date and on task.
Pros: The board meeting agendas and minutes can easily be integrated.
Cons: It sends a lot of notifications and that's all I have to say.
Akif K. · Electrical-Electronics Engineer · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · January 9, 2025
For project collaborative work this works really great for laying out plans or throwing out ideas and creating from there. It has a lot of functions I am still learning about!
Pros: I love using this product during our collaborative team meetings.
Cons: There is a lot you can do with this app, just learning it all now.
Katrina B. · Counselor · Non-Profit Organization Management · September 20, 2024
Pros: I use this software all the time. It is always easy to use at work.
Cons: I have nothing negative to say regarding this software!
Kristen N. · Coordinator · Non-Profit Organization Management · July 12, 2024
Very happy with this product, as it meets all my requirements
Pros: The way Boardable sets up different organization under one user makes it extremely easy to manage my membership/participation
Cons: I find it awkward to quickly share the documents....you have to tinker/adjust the screen
Jason S. · Executive Director · Health, Wellness and Fitness · May 21, 2024
Boardable has been very easy to work with. Very responsive to questions and needs.
Pros: I like the one place for all board-related documents, like agendas, financials, etc.
Cons: That it has to be paid in US funds. With the fall of the CDN dollar it is becoming unaffordable, which is a shame.
Dale W. · President and CEO · Non-Profit Organization Management · May 13, 2024
Very positive. Our cowboys use it and seem to navigate well.
Pros: It's pretty straightforward and user friendly.
Cons: At times, our board members have had issues with the app.
Shelly K. · Executive Assistant · Sports · May 13, 2024
Pros: Layout is great, easy to navigate, easy to create agendas, upload documents, and assign speakers. Looks great on the screen.
Cons: I wish it was easier to scroll through each attached agenda item without having to create a PDF booklet. Minor thing though.
Anonymous User · Director of Governance and Operations · Hospital & Health Care · May 8, 2024
You get what you pay for. We did not pay much and did not get much. They try to automate everything.
Pros: It was not even easy to set up. Support bots are ridiculous
Cons: Very difficult to implement. Video conferencing was horrible. Only half of our board members adopted it. Support is terrible
Philip W. · Director and board member · Oil & Energy · May 8, 2024
Very pleased with the product for the cost
Pros: Ease of use was a major deciding point.
Cons: Document management and tracking can be confusing
Bill A. · Executive Director · Non-Profit Organization Management · May 8, 2024
The experience has been great. Any issues, tech support has been able to work them out.
Pros: Boardable's recent updates have made the functionality more uaer friendly. I love the agenda and being able to attend specific documents to the agenda items.
Cons: There should be an "Audit" option. This will allow auditors of nonprofits to one time a year examine minues, etc for audit purposes and not count towards the number of users
Kimberly C. · Executive Director · Non-Profit Organization Management · May 8, 2024
Boardable has transformed our board management. We no longer rely on bulky packets or notebooks. Everyone has on the go access 24/7to our documents and we can communicate more cleanly with our board members.
Pros: I enjoy being able to store all of my meeting documents, agenda, and other items in one place. It makes it easy for everyone to access and manage.
Cons: I wish I could see what each user sees. Oftentimes I think all users have access to certain features, and it can cause confusion. If I could impersonate a user as an admin, this would help.
Katie E. · Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement · Higher Education · May 8, 2024
Pros: I like being able to attach meeting materials directly to the agenda. I like the ability to print a PDF board packet easily. The integrated minute taking function is wonderful. It makes it easy to take minutes as well as produce a consistent and professional product each time.
Cons: We've struggled with the quality of the integrated Spotlight application for remote meetings. Additionally we have some board members that can't access the meetings via Spotlight due to work computer restrictions. We've tried using Zoom or Teams but since they are directly integrated we've had challenges there as well.
Amy B. · Director of Finance and Operations · Non-Profit Organization Management · May 8, 2024
From coming from an in house sharepoint disaster it was nice to find something that everyone could use from the start with minimal training.
Pros: The interface is easy enough for board members to navigate it on their own. Support has been very responsive.
Cons: If I had to nit pick, the way boardable default displays .pdf's is not to my liking.
Stephen B. · IT Manager · Education Management · May 3, 2024
Overall, Bearable is really a game changer in helping us organise for meetings
Pros: Boardable is the tool I use to build agendas, and organise meeting documents in just a single click. we are also able to conduct polls using this software.
Cons: The audio quality with the zoom integration is really bad. I wish this issue can be resolved.
Dorcus N. · Reservations Officer · Leisure, Travel & Tourism · January 17, 2023
Pros: I liked that the board meeting agenda and minutes could all be integrated with an easy to tick to do list.
Cons: A lot of notifications. I tried to find an option to turn off the excessive notifications that came along with any and all updates I made to any notes or tasks.
Tara C. · Co founder · Human Resources · January 8, 2023
Helped the smooth running of remote board meetings. The document feature allowed for easy dissemination of documents prior to meetings and the discussion and poll functions also assisted in meeting planning and preperation.
Pros: For formal meetings, including board meetings this software supported agenda planning, record keeping and virtual gatherings
Cons: Administrative features sometimes needed adjusting to allow different members to take mins.
Olivia L. · Execdir@ufvsus.ca · Non-Profit Organization Management · June 6, 2022
Pros: Boardable has been an amazing company with whom we've collaborated. Their employees have been incredibly helpful in getting the product set up and will be a part of getting our board members acclimated to the software.
Cons: So far, there are no complaints. Only issue is that there was a steep price increase in mid-July.
