Pros: Buen programa para gente con experiencia, completa y funcional para todas esas personas. Buen programa

Cons: Es costoso y complejo de utilizar para personas que no son muy buenas para este medio, a pesar de ser completa es de difícil uso

Pros: Es el mejor programa para la metodología cuantitativa.

Cons: El costo del programa es elevado para un estudiante de doctorado.

Pros: I used this resource for my graduate school research class/project and it was very helpful. It is easy to use if you have the book that explains the system. I felt that it created nice charts out of the statistics and was very helpful.

Cons: If there were maybe more explanations within the application to help describe what things mean/how to navigate it, that could be helpful. The book is great too but that could be a nice addition.

Pros: SPSS taught me how to work with data. The software walks you through statistics. You learn as you work with SPSS and that it what I like the most about it.

Cons: I wish there were better graphs were available. I would really love to have all the stats reflected on colorful graphs.

Pros: It is a very complete package. It has a robust scripting language which makes repeatability of an analysis very possible, if the original analyzer so intends. There is also possibility to interact with R and many plugins. The plugin management system is easy to navigate.

Cons: Menu system is a little confusing. Price would be an issue for individual users. Licensing is slightly complicated. The base unit, although covering a lot of options will surely fall short for many individuals.

Pros: There is a robust time series analysis, which is very useful for diagnosing seasonal production issues and trends in forecasting when maintenance will be required for the equipment. The big data compatibility of the software in regard to variable relationships fostered by the software complemented by the enhanced visualization tools proves to be a valuable assistance in the aspect of production optimization analysis.

Cons: The general interface for custom script integration could be better realized. Possibility to opt for a certain type of report is not very gigantic. Continuous data integration is performed when more additional configuration is needed.

Pros: The fact that it contains all the necessary tools from plots to graph to diagrams needed for easy data analysis

Cons: It is relatively expensive compared to similar softwares like excel spreadsheet and google sheet

Pros: SPSS is the pioneer in the statistical reporting world. It have advanced analytics function with AI enable predictive model. The kind of reports you can generate from it using BI is just awesome. Very smooth operation and wide level of inputs/ data sheets are accepted. Simply the best

Cons: 1. It takes a lot of bandwidth to operate 2. No mobile app available.. already in your system 3. One needs to learn the tool well to start operating 4. Tutorials are not very useful

Pros: Can provide accurate analysis without coding. There are range of analysis options to choose from. Light weight. You can integrate python programming language with IBM SPSS.

Cons: The User Interface is not modern. Mostly for academic research and analysis. Cannot embed charts. Charts are not interractive but static images.

Pros: It is a great tool to analyze all types of datasets (large or small) without any problems. It provides comprehensive information about your data and extracts valuable information for your research.

Cons: Graphics and the user interface should be improved. The price is a bit higher as compared with other tools.

Pros: The massiveness and extent of value it can unravel from data in processes that are "easy", intuitive, and "make sense". LOVE using product for complexly designed survey analyses - they are lots of fun

Cons: I like least that not everybody uses the software and thus miss out on these collaborative discovery sessions that leave all participants with a firmer grasp on what data story telling REALLY is

Pros: You can try a free trial before you buy a full licence. It is useful for schools and it can help greatly for dissertations or other projects.

Cons: The displayed data may look crammed or chaotic and the graphs are purely functional with no visual effect.

Pros: SPSS è Statistics è software per l'analisi dei dati. I ricercatori lo utilizzano per condurre funzioni statistiche come il test t, l'ANOVA, la correlazione et similia. È discretamente user-friendly e le sue funzioni si comprendono con il tempo. Interpreta e manipola i dati degli esperimenti condotti e restituisce i risultati in modo molto comprensibile.

Cons: Inizialmente ho trovato SPSS un po' difficile, e ciò è dovuto alle sue numerose funzioni. Tuttavia, diventa più facile man mano che ci si familiarizza e lo si utilizza. Forse è un po’ costoso.

Pros: There is a learning curve, but it's not that difficult to find your way around the software. Good for students and employees alike.

Cons: Limited functionality compared to a lot of other statistical software

Cons: De functies zijn niet overzichtelijk en het is moeilijk om te leren

Cons: The tools are not expland very good and cannot find easily.

Cons: It is such a complicated application I think it need more information about the skills that the app contains.

Pros: Spss is erg makkelijk te gebruiken voor de sociale wetenschappen, zoals bijvoorbeeld marketing. Alle belangrijke statistische analyses die je hier moet gebruiken zijn aanwezig. Ook is het menu zeer overzichtelijk en makkelijke te gebruiken voor beginnende studenten.

Cons: Grootste nadelen zijn dat spss minder fijn werkt voor financiële vakken, dan wordt stata geprefereerd. Ook krijg je bij elke analyse erg veel data en kan het soms licht onoverzichtelijk zijn. Ook moeten sommige analyses, zoals bepaalde types moderatie regressies, nog los gedownload worden.

Pros: IBM SPSS Statistics permette di lavorare con dati complessi e produrre analisi statistiche utilizzando tecniche avanzate. L’interfaccia grafica è pulita e permette un uso piacevole del software. Le analisi sono eseguite con il linguaggio di programmazione di SPSS, Syntax, che risulta flessibile ed adatto anche a automatizzare processe ripetitivi. IBM SPSS Statistics ha una buona capacità di gestire una considerevole mole di dati, e risulta molto preciso nella rendicontazione delle analisi eseguite, i cui output sono personalizzabili mediante apposite opzioni inserite nel codice. La statistiche utilizzabile nel software sono varie, dalle semplici medie ponderate e operazione di data manipulation fino ad arrivare alle complesse regressioni logistiche multinomiali.

Cons: IBM SPSS Statistics, nell’esecuzioni di analisi statistiche pecca dell’assenza di un modulo datato agli algoritmi moderni di IA; i quali potrebbero dare un boots alle analisi eseguite e permettere una compressioni più profonda dei dati. Inoltre, il software, non risulta brillante nell’esecuzione di report.

Pros: I have used SPSS to carry data analysis and reporting for my security and cloud computing research to support the different statistical analysis and management for my simulations. I like the variable support in SPSS that gives a better data view of the samples in one Spreadsheet. The variable creation process is highly automated that makes the deployment of the statistical model much more facilitated. Moreover, the variable configuration process is very intuitive and resembles basic relational entities in RDBMSes. By the way, I integrated SPSS with prominent RDBMSes such as Oracle and MySQL.

Cons: The main limitation that occurred is the performance degradation when loading large data sets. Though, this wasn't easily replicated, we believe that the size of the data set could be the main factor resulting in the lags we experienced. The SPSS learning curve is steep and it requires a lot of training to make the user acquainted to use it effectively.
