QuickBooks Enterprise is a payroll platform used mainly by small businesses in accounting, construction, and retail to manage payroll, invoicing, and reporting. Its standout benefit is the ability to customize and automate financial workflows. While the desktop-first design supports depth and control, reviewers cite limited mobile access and customer relationship management (CRM) functionality as drawbacks.

I learned that its really made for larger businesses. Im a small business, managing lower scaled numbers in inventory. I only need to manage basic income, track daily expenses, and run end of year taxes. This is much more suited for an established, scaling company with multiple employees, with complex workflow.
Pros: I like how massive Quickbooks handles all of their data. It helps with my inventory, vendors and transactions. Where others may lag quickbooks does not.
Cons: For me it would be the very hefty annual fee. Compared with other similar products whose requirements are monthly and less costly.

Enjoying it so far. I don’t like the idea of switching to something else. We are able to keep all 3 of our businesses separate.
Pros: Quickbooks make it easy to keep all records in one place from year to year. Reports are easy to run.
Cons: The price is expensive. Once they went to online I feel it became very clicky and takes longer to enter transactions.

Overall experience is positive. Like I said easy to navigate and speculate if you don’t know what you are doing.
Pros: I like the simplicity of the software. It is easy to navigate and quickly learn how to site works even if you are new to computers.
Cons: I think what I like least is maybe not even necessarily quickbooks fault, but it is difficult to print checks and know exactly how to place them in the printer in order to get them to print correctly. And then if you don’t print it correctly, it can sometimes be difficult to reprint it. Also you sometimes print them in the wrong order so then you have to go and reassign check numbers.

QuickBooks Enterprise is very powerful and honestly reliable with pretty good reporting tools. Slight learning curve, but overall very useful.
Pros: It really has great reporting, inventory tracking, and payroll tools. It keeps everything organized and makes managing daily business tasks much easier.
Cons: It can feel a little overwhelming at first, and it sometimes slows down with large company files or updates.
Dana P. · CVOM · Veterinary · May 11, 2026
Pros: The system does it all, and easily imports sales and other information. The expense rules feature saves a lot of time.
Cons: It's complicated to use for non-professionals (at least it feels that way to me). I never got a hang for it.
Caitlin M. · Owner · Consumer Services · May 6, 2026
My overall experience with QuickBooks Enterprise has been positive. It’s a reliable and powerful accounting platform that handles advanced reporting, inventory, and financial management efficiently. While it has a learning curve, it works well for growing businesses with complex accounting needs.
Pros: What I liked most about QuickBooks Enterprise is its powerful accounting tools for managing complex financial data. It handles large volumes of transactions, reporting, and inventory with ease, making it ideal for growing businesses.
Cons: What I liked least about QuickBooks Enterprise is its high cost and complexity. It can be overwhelming for smaller teams, and setup/maintenance often requires more time and technical knowledge than simpler accounting tools.

We are new to Enterprise but it seems to be quite easily navigated and user friendly to find anything and everything you may need
Pros: The customer service is outstanding. The fact that invoicing and payments are tied together greatly reduces the amount of work on the accounting end of things
Cons: The initial set-up is a little overwhelming with a large customer base already in place. It can be a bit difficult to get everything loaded into a system

My overall experience with QuickBooks Enterprise has been very positive. It handles accounting, invoicing, and reports efficiently, making daily work much easier. Overall, it’s a reliable and powerful tool for managing business finances.
Pros: What I liked most about QuickBooks Enterprise is how powerful yet practical it feels for managing business finances. It offers strong value for money considering the advanced tools it provides. The invoicing and invoice management system is smooth, organized, and saves a lot of time. Even though it has many features, the ease of use is decent once you get familiar with it. It really helps with time saving, especially in tracking and reporting tasks. While there can be minor bugs, the customer support is helpful and resolves issues efficiently.
Cons: It can feel a bit complex for beginners at first. The software is quite expensive compared to other options. Sometimes it slows down or has minor glitches.

Overall really good. It definitely calculated things properly and helped me categorize things and prepare for taxes and that kind of stuff
Pros: Works well with my chiropractic business and helped me get everything set up in the beginning and then continuing for many years to come.
Cons: There were times way the screen was shaped it would cut things off and I'd have to scroll to get to those places
Jeffrey F. · Owner · Health, Wellness and Fitness · May 2, 2026
It was a very useful tool for book keeping and budgeting. Great customer service support too. I enjoyed some of the keyword features and ability to edit if needed. Keeping track of accounts payable and receivable was very smooth with this program. Sending out invoices to clients was easy and helpful and allowed me to provided clear instructions for the clients on how they could pay their bill.
Pros: It helped me keep track of all company expenses incoming & outgoing. I also created & provide quotes easily and efficiently for my bosses clients. It was easy to input information and even saved some of my key statements that I could reuse on emails making my input faster.
Cons: It would sometimes have trouble loading after updates, which caused issues with workflow, usually causing me to be back logged a day or two.
Heather W. · Administrative assistant · Construction · May 1, 2026
Overall it is easy to use and it keeps track of my hours and my paychecks and you can update tax info easily so I enjoy it
Pros: I like that my paychecks are linked up to my taxes on turbo tax so I don't have to do anything and it is all uploaded easily. I also like that you can do timesheets easily and there are different ways to do them. you can add just the hours or you can clock in and do hours.
Cons: The interface can feel outdated and unintuitive at times, especially for new users. Some processes require multiple steps that could be streamlined, and performance can slow down with larger company files, which impacts overall efficiency.
Zachary S. · Physical Therapist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · May 1, 2026
Pros: What I liked most about QuickBooks Enterprise is the balance between robust accounting capabilities and practical day-to-day usability. In practice, it helps centralize accounting, receivables, payables, payroll inputs, and inventory in one environment. For example, finance teams gain faster month-end visibility and stronger operational control than with fragmented systems.
Cons: What I liked least about QuickBooks Enterprise is that it can feel dated compared with newer cloud-native platforms. Some customization, remote access, or integrations may require extra setup. It is powerful, but not always the most modern user experience.

Overall, my experience with Intuit QuickBooks has been positive. It is a reliable and professional tool for managing business finances, staying organized, and preparing for tax time. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a more efficient way to handle bookkeeping and financial tracking.
Pros: Intuit QuickBooks has been a very helpful accounting platform overall. I like that it makes it easier to organize business finances, track income and expenses, send invoices, and keep financial records in one place. The dashboard is fairly easy to navigate, and it gives a clear overview of cash flow, outstanding invoices, expenses, and overall business performance. One of the biggest pros is that QuickBooks saves time with bookkeeping. It can connect to bank accounts, categorize transactions, generate reports, and make invoicing more professional. It is especially useful for small business owners, freelancers, and service providers who want to stay organized without manually tracking everything.
Cons: Some cons are that it can feel a little overwhelming at first, especially if you are not familiar with accounting terms or bookkeeping systems. Some features may take time to learn, and the cost can add up depending on the plan and any extra services you need.

Enterprise is not for me. I wouldn't continue using this and found it really tough to get used to. Not a fan.
Pros: Mainly I guess the similarity to other Quickbooks products would be the main pro, but I didn't find many others.
Cons: Quickbooks enterprise was overly complicated and difficult to integrate. Not a product I would continue using.

Most accurate business software that I’ve ever used. It’s the best for taxes as well when it’s that time of year.
Pros: Quickbooks is good value for money! The ease of use, great customer support, email communication and invoicing is so organized and self sufficient. The invoice management is by far the best!
Cons: I don’t have any complaints about Quickbooks Enterprise. I think it’s the best in the game so far from what I’ve used.
Brooks L. · Customer Service Representative · Retail · April 26, 2026
Dependable backup and system history for pulling up any past business transactions. Quick customer servicing and payments.
Pros: This is one of the most user friendly systems I have ever used. It's quick and easy to make templates for customer invoicing even for beginners. Also great for tracking sales. Making end of year taxes quick and painless
Cons: No negative comments or feedback. This system made my life so much simpler. Cheaper than an accountant.
Carolyn C. · Assistant · Automotive · April 25, 2026
I like the platform overall; it's very helpful for our business (we use an accountant, though), but I can go and see the reports, and it's easy to use.
Pros: It's easy to use a platform; for a good amount of money, we can have all my business finances in one place.
Cons: The customer service for the line of credit doesn't have a chat; they don't answer the phone calls, and it's been very difficult to reach them now that we have this service.
Marcela O. · Owner · Education Management · April 25, 2026
Be extremely careful with their trials. The person on their customer support line told me incorrect information which basically wasted my entire trial. I signed up for the quickbooks live trial did not realize that there would be no availability for appointments. At the advice of their support team, I signed up for an appointment in the future, but when it came time for the appointment, they canceled on me because my trial was over. Ridicules to offer a trial that does not even provide access to the service that is being trial. Upon talking with their support later, they said they are unable to reinstate my trial. In general support calls with Quickbooks are frustrating, as they will keep transferring me to different departments and it takes hours to solve a simple problem.
Pros: Right now, I am extremely frustrated with Quickbooks, so I cannot think of a lot of pros. Maybe the number of integrations.
Cons: Their support and rigidity of their systems. Extremely inflexible and inefficient even when it makes Zero sense to be.

Overall, my experience has been positive. The system is powerful and capable of handling complex business needs, especially when it comes to reporting, inventory management, and financial tracking. Once you understand how everything works, it becomes a very dependable tool for managing day-to-day operations. That said, it does come with a learning curve, and some processes can feel more complicated than necessary. There are occasional performance slowdowns, especially with large data files, but the depth of features generally outweighs those frustrations. In the end, it’s a strong, comprehensive solution that supports growth and provides detailed financial visibility, even if it takes some time to fully master.
Pros: What I like most about QuickBooks Enterprise is its ability to handle complex accounting needs while still being user-friendly. It offers powerful reporting tools that give detailed insight into financial performance, inventory, and job costing, which makes managing the business much more efficient. I especially appreciate the advanced inventory features and the ability to customize reports to fit our specific needs. The system is robust enough to support growth, yet organized in a way that keeps daily tasks manageable. Overall, QuickBooks Enterprise provides the depth and flexibility needed for larger operations without feeling overwhelming.
Cons: While QuickBooks Enterprise is a powerful system, what I like least is that it can feel overly complex at times. Some features require multiple steps to complete simple tasks, and new users may face a steep learning curve. The interface can also feel dated compared to newer accounting platforms. I’ve also found that performance can slow down when working with large company files, which can be frustrating during busy times. Additionally, certain customizations and advanced features may require extra setup or added costs. Overall, it’s a strong accounting solution, but it can be more complicated and resource-heavy than necessary for everyday use.

Great tool and great interfaces to work with and the customer support is fast and really attentive to my needs.
Pros: Great tool to work in accounting and great customer support is provided, the interfaces are really good!
Cons: O s i not have something in particular that like least, what I really like about this tool is that we can find tutorials pretty easy to accomplish different task

Overall I have had a very positive experience with Quickbooks enterprise being able to overhaul my stock management system.
Pros: The aspect I liked most about Quickbooks enterprise is the enhanced features on the base edition. The improved stock management system and similar navigation to the desktop edition makes this accounting system very easy to use and great value for money.
Cons: Similar to the other editions of Quickbooks, the accounting systems take a large amount of learning to become truly effective.

Pros: What I liked most about QuickBooks Enterprise was its powerful functionality combined with strong scalability for larger or more complex businesses.
Cons: $99
Radha S. · Legal Assistant · Legal Services · April 16, 2026
Pros: It has all the reports I need. The Reports are easy to find and they can be altered if necessary. I also like the dashboard.
Cons: Customer service is not always knowledgeable. You may need to call several times until you get someone that has the answers.
Loretta P. · Asst. Director of Finance · Real Estate · April 16, 2026
Overall, I have been very pleased with the amount of features it offers. It accomplishes standard business accounting!
Pros: QuickBooks Enterprise is a very powerful accounting tool. While the enterprise version isn't for everyone...it definitely checks all the boxes. It has very detailed invoicing, invoice management, transaction tracking, and fee tracking capabilities. It has the ability to integrate into a ton of different services for seamless billing and customer management. In addition to that, it has the ability to track payroll and act as a basic HRIS system. It often comes with a high level of customer support that covers just about every feature you can think of.
Cons: It is a beast of a tool and often requires a good bit of configuration. Depending on what level of integration you want, it may require consulting a third party.
Anonymous User · IT Systems Administrator · Mental Health Care · April 13, 2026
Love it! Will always be a user. Even started using it in another business we have. When using it I feel more productive and have a stronger pulse on the business activities
Pros: The ability to fully run our business without extra systems needed. Our cpa loves that we use it as well. Very efficient with Invoice Management, and full Transaction Management- from start to finish.
Cons: All the AI pop ups and trying to do more than I need. Wish there was a few more options with reconciliations and undoing them in mass not one by one.
