Very good journey with continous possibilities to exchange experiences with other customers, as well as with Tagetik
Pros: User centricity and flexibility. Allora the management of several processes in parallel, even with very complex requirements.
Cons: Nothing in particular. Overall the experience was always very positive. There have not been any major issues.

I have been using Tagetik since 2013 when it was implemented in the Company. We put out hands a lot inside the software and learned how to design it to our needs. It has been an ever growing learning curve but totally worth it. The system has improved our budgeting, reporting and closing activities significantly.
Pros: The software is adaptable to all businesses, it's flexible and most of all reliable. Additionally, in case of issues, the support team is very professional and helpful.
Cons: The road to the knowledge level we have now has been long and we had to learn the functionalities of the software on our own with limited support from the original project team. Some activites had to be left behind or cancelled.

Pros: It's a very flexible tool, capable to adapt to very particular and specific needs even in niche fields. It is incredibly useful for reporting efficiently and to check data quality. It is also quite useful in terms of collaborating with colleagues working in different regions and / or timetables as all reporting is accessible across the board by all user with the specified access.
Cons: Despite being quite user friendly, as with all tools there is still a learning curve to it: should you not apply yourself diligently to learning how the system works, in case of issues you might end up with more problems than you started with...

Overall I am satisfied with this product. It offers a streamlined business process for budgeting and forecasting that helps in integration with other products and with automations.

Tagetik ist ein umfangreiches Tool, welches komplexe Prozesse im Finanz- und Controllingbereich abbilden kann. Ich habe das Tools sowohl als IT-Consultant auf der Implementierungsseite, als auch in der Betreuung auf der Kundenseite (Konsolidierung) kennengelernt.
Pros: Viele Controlling-Geschäftsprozesse sind im Standard der Software abbildbar (insbesondere Konsolidierung und Planung). Durch den Analytical Workspace keine Begrenzung mehr hinsichtlich der Anzahl von Hierarchien und Dimensionen.
Cons: Tagetik ist ein eher komplexeres Tool, dass für Entwickler, aber auch End-User Schulungen und Trainings voraussetzt.

Tagetik has deeply changed closing process, from a system that enables all the company of the group contribute to reporting to a fast and reliable solution full integrated bot with ERP system and disclosure documents.
Pros: Fast integration with SAP 4 Hana, easy to use and implement, flexible and scalable solution.

We are preparing the group financial statements. We saved some time for the local entities as they can upload data directly from the ERP. The consolidation and reconciliation process is much smoother on the group level.
Pros: Very intuitive to use and has a modern interface
Cons: Changing something could become complicated as the tool is rather complex on the back end.

citizenM is a rapidly growing hotel company. As a finance department we need to facilitate and support this growth, a.o. by using agile, efficient, scalable, SaaS software. Our goal is to become the "best in class" finance department. We use CCH Tagetik for budgeting, reporting and consolidation already for a couple of years and it fits into the picture perfectly. And to speed up our (monthly / quarterly) close we recently implemented the transaction matching and account reconciliation modules.
Pros: citizenM is a fast growing, global hotel company. We deal with different currencies, GAAP standards, ownership percentages, mergers, et cetera. CCH Tagetik eases this complexity when it comes to budgeting, consolidation and reporting.
Cons: The solution could be customized according to the customers wishes, it offers lots of possibilities. This requires detailed knowledge of the system internally (or external consultants) when the configuration requires adjustments.We experienced some challenges during the implementation of the transaction matching module related to the connectivity (API vs. FTP). The support from Tagetik on this has been excellent.

Pros: The fact that the administration and the developement can both be done by the business enhances the understanding of the power users a lot.

Pros: The reporting features, are intuitive and simple to use, drag and drop to create report and complicated filterings can be maintained easily by using it dynamically. User interface is asthetically pleasing, making the closing process easier to navigate, follow through and fast.
Cons: The execution running time can sometimes be slow for certain processes. Maybe it could be due to complex calculations or maybe there are external factors in play behind the software (other user performing the same thing at the same time)

We use CCH Tagetik for financial close, consolidations, financial reporting, other management reporting, and budgeting/planning/forecasting. Some of our planning uses include revenue modeling, wage modeling, asset planning, cash flow forecasting, and allocations. CCH Tagetik can do so much and is easy to use, so our users and administrators are always eager to do more with it.
Pros: The system is extremely easy to use for technical and non-technical personnel. The system also has a wide range of out of the box features to get started right away, while also being extremely flexible in case you want to scale the product with your business.
Cons: The product is generally extremely intuitive for the portions that a customer would use or be familiar with. That being said, new developments should be promoted more, in order for customers to keep up with the system and take advantage of the changes.
