Overall, I’ve had a very positive experience with 800.com. The service worked as expected, the call quality was reliable, and having a local San Diego number helped build more trust with potential customers visiting my website. It’s been a good value for the price and a simple solution for businesses wanting a professional phone presence without complicated setup.
Pros: 800.com made it easy to set up a San Diego phone number for my website so I could better target the local market. The platform was straightforward to use, call forwarding worked reliably, and the setup process was smooth. I also liked being able to separate business calls from personal calls while maintaining a more professional appearance for local customers.
Cons: There were a few features that took a little time to learn at first, especially when adjusting settings and managing call routing, but overall nothing major stood out as a problem.

We loved it so much that we got sold on a new company and we even left and came back after realizing other companies as useful
Pros: How easy it is to use, how great the support is. We even left and came back after realizing other companies as useful. Great value for what you get.
Cons: There is a light lag with call transferring to other numbers but that has been the only issue we really have found.

Overall, my experience with 1.800.com has been very positive. It provided a simple and efficient way to set up a professional business phone number without needing complicated equipment or a long setup process. The platform helped me separate business and personal calls, which improved organization and communication with customers. I also appreciated the call forwarding features, which allowed me to stay connected even when I was away from the office. While there was a short learning period at the beginning, the system became easy to use over time. Overall, it has been a reliable and helpful tool for my business.
Pros: What I liked most about 1.800.com for my business number was how easy it made it to set up a professional phone presence quickly. It allowed me to get a dedicated business number without complicated installation or equipment, which helped me separate personal and business communication right away. The call forwarding features were especially useful because I could stay connected with customers from anywhere, even when I wasn’t in the office. It also helped my business appear more credible and established, which is important when building trust with clients. Overall, it made communication simpler, more organized, and more professional.
Cons: What I liked least about 1.800.com was that it took a little time at first to explore all the features and fully understand the setup options. Once I got familiar with it, everything became much easier to use. Some advanced settings could be a bit more straightforward, but they didn’t take away from the overall experience. Even with that small learning period, the platform still provided a reliable and professional business number solution that worked well for my needs and helped improve how I manage customer communication.

Pros: It was so easy to search and checkout of website. It made process smooth and enjoyable to do for future number purchases.
Cons: I did not have any bad experiences with this website so i would not comment on this issue unless i did not in the future
Chris N. · Owner · Law Practice · May 15, 2026
Very pleased and very convenient. They definitely have met my expectations thus far. I have multiple numbers plus a fax.
Pros: Convenient..affordable. alot of flexibility. Tech support is quick on responding and very patient with newcomers like myself.
Cons: I really dont have any complaints so far. Nothing negative at all thus far. MAYBE a 24 hr tech support for people like me that work late nights.
Catrena S. · Founder CEO · Non-Profit Organization Management · May 14, 2026
Overall I have been pleased with the seamless experience of the virtual phone service linked to my cell phone. It allows me to do business on the go by forwarding all of calls and texts The value for the money is hands down among the best available.
Pros: I love the professional support and the low cost of the service. Whenever I call in with a problem the representative stays with me until my issue is fully resolved.
Cons: The online interface is not exactly intuitive. It takes some effort and learning to use the tools to set up your services.
Jeannita T. · Managing Member · Management Consulting · May 7, 2026
Positive! I would say that I honestly haven't used it enough to share specific painpoints, but overall it's easy to set up and intuitive.
Pros: Super easy to set up! The dashboard is easily accessible and relatively intuitive, though it feels a bit outdated.
Cons: It's been difficult to set up SMS given compliance issues and I wish there was more account management / hands-on help.
Anna N. · Founder · Consumer Goods · May 5, 2026
Pros: Great service without long term commitments, have used their service for two months and so far so good
Cons: Figuring out how the features works or sometimes there's a delay if its a weekend or of make changes after hours
Manny V. · Owner · Arts and Crafts · May 3, 2026
Overall, it’s a good app to use just a bit of adjusting. I had 100.com for over a year now I love how I can have all of my communication needs handled in one spot as far as having my phone and fax and that I can adjust with automated system systems and text messaging.
Pros: I like how 800.com has the app to utilize it makes things easier to get to, but I would like it to also have the same features as the website
Cons: The app does not have the same features as the website and it seems that I do not get calls. Sometimes they drop or do not go through. I want to be able to have Khols come through to my phone from the app so I can see the numbers instead of having to forward my number
Ladonna M. · Lab Director · Consumer Services · April 23, 2026
Pros: 800.com has helped me streamline incoming calls for my business. I was able to find a working memorable novelty number and the call routing features are great.
Cons: Not sure what I don't enjoy about 800.coms service. The call forwarding services are well thought out and easy to enable and disable on a whim.
L. R. · Chief Executive · Music · April 19, 2026
its cool. I'm still waiting to see if the overall call quality is going to improve or not, I really hope so
Pros: The ease of use, and the user interface. I like that I'm can easily customize everything, and create call flows
Cons: The call quality of my uploaded messages sounded horrible, but the number is still new, so we'll see how it turns out

Great so far.I would really recommend If you’re needing a phone line for your business.Or just needing an extra line.
Pros: What I like most about this company is that they actually have real customer service. This is amazing.
Cons: One thing that could be worked on is that It could be a little easier to maneuver. Which will make all businesses want to interact.
Sunshine T. · CEO · Cosmetics · April 15, 2026
Fantastic. The whole process was very easy to set up. The sales staff and the tech support were all fantastic.
Pros: 800.com covered all the features we were looking for and had the best price. We compared this to a few other services that landed on 800.com and happy we did.
Cons: As of now there aren't any cons. We are very happy with the service and don't anticipate any cons from what we can see.
Todd R. · SVP · Financial Services · April 13, 2026
Overall, 800.com has been a solid tool for managing business calls and communication. It’s user-friendly, dependable, and does exactly what we need for day-to-day operations. While there’s room for improvement in advanced features and support speed, it’s still a great option for businesses looking for a simple and effective phone system.
Pros: 800.com is very easy to set up and use, even without a technical background. The call management features are straightforward and reliable, and having everything in one place (calls, texts, and tracking) saves a lot of time. The interface is clean, and it’s been helpful for managing business communications efficiently.
Cons: Some features feel a bit limited, especially when it comes to more advanced customization or reporting. The pricing can also add up depending on usage, and customer support response times can vary.
Gabby S. · CEO · Retail · April 11, 2026
We've been a long-time user, and we are satisfied with the flexibility it provides for our customer support needs
Pros: Simplicity and reliability. Very easy to set up, and helpful in my company's daily support work and activities
Cons: In the past, we had some issues with forwarding of calls to international numbers. Not sure if it has been fixed in the meantime.
Goran M. · Regional Sales and Support Manager · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · April 10, 2026
We were looking for a vanity number that would allow us to track our advertising campaigns—specifically, to connect website traffic to inbound phone calls—so we could measure engagement, attribute revenue to those calls, and clearly demonstrate return on advertising investment.
Pros: The pricing is extremely reasonable and affordable. The ease of use is also a breeze. Form the set u to 800.cm's continued use and maintenance make is fast and affordable to track campaigns.
Cons: Nothing. 800.com provided exactly what we needed and at the moment could not think of a feature or integration I wold recommend, it's all in there.
Manny S. · Creative Director · Marketing and Advertising · April 8, 2026
My experience with 800.com has been very positive. It solved our need for a professional business presence instantly. The setup process was seamless—we were up and running in minutes. Phone support was responsive when I had a question about billing, and the call management tools like the auto-attendant have significantly improved our workflow.
Pros: The platform is incredibly intuitive. I specifically appreciated how quickly I could secure a vanity number and set up call forwarding. Unlike some older telecom services, the dashboard feels modern and makes managing multiple lines simple. The SMS/Texting capability is a huge plus for customer engagement, and the call tracking analytics provide great insights into our marketing reach.
Cons: While the core features are excellent, I’d love to see more advanced automation in the mobile app. The pricing is fair for the value provided, but for a very small startup with low call volume, the entry-level tiers can feel a bit steep if you aren't utilizing all the features like call recording or API integrations.
Calvin R. · CEO · Transportation/Trucking/Railroad · April 7, 2026
Pros: Easy to use and EXCELLENT customer service that never disappoints! 100% stable phone connection 800.com is THE BEST!
Cons: Nothing. My experience with 800.com has been simply outstanding. There is nothing wrong with this software. It is absolutely flawlessly delivered.
Nate M. · Founder and managing Director · Financial Services · April 5, 2026
Overall, our experience with 800.com has been very positive. The platform is intuitive, easy to set up, and delivers exactly what we need in terms of managing business calls efficiently. Their customer support team stands out—they are quick to respond and genuinely helpful, which makes a big difference when you’re running a business. While there have been occasional issues with call transfers, the overall reliability and ease of use make it a valuable tool for our operations.
Pros: The setup process was extremely easy and user-friendly, allowing us to get up and running quickly without any technical challenges. Additionally, the customer service has been excellent—responsive, helpful, and always willing to assist when needed.
Cons: At times, call transfers did not go through properly, which created some concern around potentially missed or lost business opportunities. Improving the reliability of call routing and transfers would make the service even stronger.
Chris H. · CMO · Marketing and Advertising · March 29, 2026
Overall, my experience with 800.com has been positive. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do when it comes to managing business calls and maintaining a professional presence. However, improving accessibility to customer support especially through texting would take the experience to the next level.
Pros: Easy to use : What I liked most about 800.com is how easy it is to set up a business phone number and manage calls in one place. The call forwarding, voicemail, and tracking features are very helpful for staying organized and professional. It’s a solid solution for small business owners who need a reliable communication system without something overly complicated.
Cons: Not able to text my customers: What I liked least is that it’s not as easy to text customers as I would prefer. In today’s fast-paced environment, having a simple and direct texting option for my 800 # would make the experience much smoother and more convenient, especially when you need quick answers.
Ajah B. · Interior Designer · Hospitality · March 23, 2026
Really recommend! It was so easy to use and had no major issues. The team is really responsive and super friendly.
Pros: Easy to use, super customizable. User friendly interface that I could update 24/7, completely on my own.
Cons: Audio quality for voicemail message was not the best. They tried to help us with the quality and we weren't able to improve it much.
Olivia V. · VP Edu · Cosmetics · March 20, 2026
Great experience overall. Had some minor bugs / issues that we had to navigate at first, but great usage case. No complaints. Does the job well
Pros: Very useful. Exactly what I needed. I really like the voicemail set up feature . We were able to set up a very professional voicemail in a short amount of time using the built in tools .
Cons: I have noticed some minor bugs with the app. Some issues with calls being immediately dropped . Also some issues with calls being inaudible at times or failing to go through. This usually resolves following a closing and reopening of the application . Also ran into some call routing issues at the start , but got that squared away. No problems since .
Kiersten L. · Managing Director · Consumer Services · March 18, 2026
I find the service a huge help when I am too busy to answer call. I am happy with the choice of voice and tone of the AI voices.
Pros: I use 800.c0m for my small business and it is GREAT! It makes my small business seem as if I am a large company with many employees. I am a current client that is very satisfied with the service and recommend it to anyone that needs help with answering calls
Cons: I am still figuring out all the features and how to check messages when I am away from the office. I am only able to check on messages and calls from my laptop . I am sure its another way to check I just need to adjust my app settings
Sandra T. · Insurance Producer · Insurance · March 18, 2026
The system provides useful features like call forwarding, voicemail transcription, and call analytics, all managed from a single dashboard. These tools make it easier to track calls and manage communication with customers without needing a complicated phone system. Another positive part of the experience is the professional image it creates for businesses. That said, it has a few limitations, such as fewer advanced integrations or automation features compared to larger VoIP systems, though the simplicity is really a benefit for smaller company like mine.
Pros: Simple, Easy-to-Use Platform ⚙️ The thing I love most is how easy it is to set up and manage. The system is intuitive and quick to start using. Setup takes only minutes. Everything is controlled from a simple web dashboard.
Cons: Integration Options Are Still Limited 🔗 Compared with some modern communication platforms, CRM and automation integrations are still limited or in early stages. For businesses that rely heavily on automation, that can feel restrictive.
Donald T. · Owner · Retail · March 9, 2026
Pros: easy to sign up, reasonable prices and great support. I managed to get up and running within 30 minutes
Cons: call forwarding to Canada would be a nice addition, and the ability to make international calls using the number would be a good option
