The product is easy to setup and highly configurable. It can be tailored to specific users needs and has very supportive customer care services providers.
Pros: The software is easy to use and highly configurable. Availability of artificial intelligence driven recruiting systems that ensure efficient interviewing and hiring.
Cons: Avature standsout when it comes to implementation, customization and pricing. I have nothing against it.

I have worked with Avature solutions fos 3 years now, to handle applications tracking for new resources and it is easy to use and configure, and I received a great support from the compamy.
Pros: I love avature CRM, I have configured and tested the ATS and CRM solutions with great features for candidate interview, emproyee management and applicant management. It also has a great customer support.
Cons: Some workflows can be harder to setup, if the business logic is too complex, but in general I liked the solution.

Avature is easy to learn and use and I learn from it every single day. There are always updates and new features to learn and use.
Pros: I like that you can configure it to fit your needs and modify as you go. There are so many options that you can literally let the program run itself in some instances.
Cons: I don't really have anything I don't like. There are little things such as merging multiple profiles at once or marking them not a duplicate.

Avature is perhaps the best ATS out there due to its ability to empower its admins and users with the ability to build and configure their own solutions. As an HRIS admin, the depth of the tools available in Avature has challenged me and allowed me to grow new skills in my career path. Avature has been overall, a great system to manage and our firm has benefited greatly from it. Avature's customer service can be quite good. A special shout out to [sensitive content hidden] who has been an outstanding partner to work with and has always advocated for our firm's positions on several cases and projects. [sensitive content hidden]'s technical understanding as well as his straight to business attitude has made for an unmatched experience with the platform. Thanks [sensitive content hidden] !
Pros: Avature's configurability and its wide array of tools make it a powerful system for an experienced HRIS admin. In the right hands, with thoughtful implementation and maintenance, Avature could very well be the best ATS out there.
Cons: Limitations on data reporting and exporting are definately something that set avature apart in not the best way. Such as exporting limits on users and column limits on custom reports. I understand system stability being the concern, but we don't have any other system in our stack with this kind of limitation.

I think when it comes to using avature as a platform, we are very pleased with the level of support we get from the team. We are enabled to deliver more value to our internal stakeholders, with a level of process that is superior to other solutions available that dont really have the level of flexibility. We are able to screen people successfully, host all of their data in one unified place, have a great experience offered to our internal and external stakeholders in viewing profiles, analyzing data, and applying to jobs which is at the core of our employee journey. All of this with a level of security that gives our internal audit and infosec teams the reassurance needed.
Pros: I like the flexibility of the platform, it allows for the creativity of the team to come to live and enables them in creating a solution relevant for our business case
Cons: I think the pricing structure being changed so often is not a good experience for customers. If there is something already handled in a way, dont change it to charge differently to old customers.

Avature, in my opinion, is hands-down the leader of the pack in ATS/CRM software, and I don't think it's all that close. The navigation, configurability, smart design, and product evolution make it the superior recruiting software. There are shortcomings, yes, but you'll find these of some sort with any SaaS vendor or product, and the pros Avature offers heavily outweigh any cons.
Pros: As a long-time administrator and user of Avature, I have always enjoyed the configurability of the core app, from having all the data fields your heart desires to the record layout and dashboards that users access. Its flexibility to your organization's needs, styles, and branding is key. Also key are lists. Avature's lists functionality sets the software apart from any other ATS/CRM. Being able to use virtually any native or custom field as a filter and/or column to find records on a whim -- and being able to save and share an endless number of lists -- ensures each organization can find and act on data in an efficient and complete manner. Massively important.
Cons: As powerful as lists (and custom reports) are, both suffer performance issues given too much data or too complex of a search. Avature leadership and engineering have taken noticeable steps toward improving this, but much more is needed, and competitors are beginning to leave Avature in the dust in this regard. Avature also has a tendency to over-promise and under-deliver. Big features will be touted as the annual Upfront with an aggressive timeline that proves unrealistic. And when Avature does finally deliver, it often feels half-baked and underwhelming. Examples include Portal Apps Builder, "fuzzy search," Copilot, Sherlock, and smaller features.

My overall experience with Avature has been amazing and I do not see that changing. I love everything about the system. i love that it is always customizable based on our ever changing needs.
Pros: Avature has streamlined our recruiting and onboarding process. everything is contained in one system. all aspects of the candidate profile was customized to our specs and is updated as our needs change. Reporting and analytics are a breeze to pull and put in a presentable format. Our account rep [sensitive content hidden] is AMAZING. He is always ready to work some magic and show us how he got there so we are able to duplicate his process.
Cons: as far as what i like the least is a simple answer. I wish we would have found avature sooner than we did.

Brilliant enterprise level ATS and CRM, with strong customer success and account management.
Pros: Best configurability of an ATS for enterprise level clients
Cons: Takes considerable knowledge to get the best out of it
Graham J. · Recruitment Systems Manager · Wholesale · February 28, 2025
It's been good, especially when it comes with connecting to newer coworkers.
Pros: I enjoy how interactive this platform is.
Cons: It can be a little sticky to use. The interface looks a little outdated, and navigating it can be difficult.

Avature offers a robust platform for talent management and recruitment, providing customizable solutions that enhance user experience. Its intuitive interface and powerful analytics facilitate efficient workflows, making it a valuable tool for organizations aiming to streamline hiring processes and improve candidate engagement.
Pros: Avature is very reliable and customizable in sense on the workflows
Cons: the feature request will take time to be actioned on
Prashana S. · TA Ops Manager · Real Estate · October 4, 2024
Pros: My role involves creating custom reports and dashboards in Avature. The system’s capabilities are truly impressive! We can map fields from various forms and data sources to develop almost any reporting solution. What I appreciate most about Avature is its ability to be tailored to unique processes, allowing for detailed and specific reporting. I also really appreciate the people who work at Avature.
Cons: What I find most frustrating about Avature is the lengthy process for adding new enhancements, and sometimes, requests are outright denied.

I work as a candidate engagement PM that also doubles as an Avature Admin. We use Avature primarily as a CRM. Due to business needs I was unable to attend all certification courses, but needed to operate in my capacity. I found Avature highly capable & effective of managing what I needed, but was often taking a majority of my time researching to find answers to my troubleshooting needs.
Pros: It is a powerful tool to build robust ATS/CRM platform/s for your business. One user can manage vast amounts of capabilities to ensure top quality candidate engagement and data management.
Cons: It can be difficult to navigate all of the capabilities and time consuming to find assistance. When building digital processes or solutions, I need to be able to find my answers quickly. I found the Avature training library difficult to navigate when seeking solutions, and don't always have time to wait for responses to customer service requests. Access to a technical or process manual would be a nice feature.
Jon L. · Candidate Engagement and Talent Attraction · Aviation & Aerospace · October 2, 2024
My overall experience with Avature has been positive. I have used it for the last 8 years and have found it to be user-friendly and effective in managing our recruitment and employee data. It has provided us with the flexibility to meet our specific needs and has empowered us to be more self-sufficient through its robust certification and training programs.
Pros: What I like most about Avature is its flexibility and customizability. It’s not a “box solution,” but rather a highly adaptable platform that allows us to tailor it to our unique processes. Additionally, the ability to get certified and become self-sufficient in the system makes it easy to manage and maximize its value internally.
Cons: Because Avature is so customizable, it can create a steeper learning curve for new users who aren’t familiar with its extensive configuration options. This can be challenging when onboarding new team members, as they often need additional support to understand the system’s capabilities.
Jessica C. · Director People Operations and Recruitment · Staffing and Recruiting · October 2, 2024
Pros: The modern technology and flexibility in it´s configuration allows users to dream and design big.
Cons: The process for activating new modules could be improved.
Patrick K. · Business IT Advisor · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · September 13, 2024
Overall, it's been a positive experience so far. The certification equips the relevant team member to effectively implement changes in line with business requirements.
Pros: The system has significantly streamlined our processes, improving overall efficiency and reducing manual workloads. It has enhanced workflow automation, allowing us to complete tasks faster and with fewer errors. This has resulted in smoother operations and better coordination across team.
Cons: - Other tabs do not load content until they are actively opened, which causes delays. It would improve efficiency if the tabs preloaded content to reduce waiting times when switching between them - The dashlet currently opens within the same tab, which can make navigation less efficient. It would be beneficial if the dashlet (list indicator) opened in a new tab to allow users to easily switch between different lists without navigating back and forth within the dashboard.

I like it the way it serve as an advancement of candidate data storage, and platform to co-work on mandate with recruiter globally. But it feels like there is a lot potential on candidate engagement, and integration with other platform to be unleashed. In another word, good job to Avature that we're relying more on Avature than other applications, and hope Avature could incorporate other configurations soon.
Pros: Its configuration design is very relevant to recruiter - how we split pipeline/company/ people and etc, and therefore it's easy to understand and use.
Cons: It doesn't seem to connect with other platform (LinkedIn, Workday in China) well, which leads to a lot of manual works importing and exporting data.
Daniel C. · Talent Engagement Manager · Consumer Goods · September 12, 2024
Very good, as the system lead, I'll be advising my business to stick with Avature for the long run
Pros: Incredibly configurable, when you ask if something is possible the answer is almost yes. It also allows the system leads (like me) to self-service a lot of changes. The Admin UI is very intuitive and there's heaps of learning content and support.
Cons: At times we hit pinch points with centralised teams on projects and changes. We only need to engage with these teams for certain large projects and integrations.
Mark D. · System Lead · Construction · September 11, 2024
Overall, I am very content with our Avature platform. It's helped us create many automations and efficiencies.
Pros: The incredible amount of flexibility. There's many different challenges you can throw at Avature, and almost all of them can be solved. It's really powerful and mature.
Cons: Because there's so much you can do, the learning curve is quite step. Also, features have extended capabilities, but it does happen every now and then that you are stuck with a trade-off, as every workaround you find has at least some limitation. Albeit often limited, it's often a shame that you can get close to perfection, but then something obvious could be missing. This happens especially with new functionality, where the first release is very limited.
Marc S. · Talent Acquisition Technologies Expert · Human Resources · September 11, 2024
Very positive, able to deliver key business functionality. Would like some more technical features.
Pros: Avature is highly modular, extensible, and scalable. It's a great mixture of self-service and admin driven features. I'm impressed with how the ongoing enhancements close functionality gaps, and open up new use cases. The Avature team is clearly committed to enhancing the product and solving user pain points.
Cons: There are some bugs with things like lists and table fields in records. I would also like to see more enhancements to the custom report builder functionality. One example would be a custom color palette for visuals. Another would be some additional functions (mean), and the ability to nest aggregate functions which proves to be a limit for advanced analytics. I also think there's an opportunity for natural language processing (NLP) driven analytic and list capabilities.
Aaron K. · Principal Business Analyst · Information Technology and Services · September 11, 2024
Avature is outstanding. You can use it for really any Recruiting, Onboarding and even Off-Boarding use case there is. Great tool and great support.
Pros: Customer service and flexibility of the product
Cons: There isn't much - it's been an outstanding tool and the backbone of our department.
Maria S. · Recruiting and Onboarding Lead · Hospital & Health Care · November 6, 2023
Pros: Avature is incredibly customizable. We selected Avature because we wanted to build in specific checkpoints and capture specific data points in our recruiting process and no other system could support our requirements like Avature can.
Cons: The company is very siloed and it's extremely challenging to get the right help and customer service. You have to just get lucky that the person you are connected with happens to know how to solve your exact problem, otherwise you essentially don't get help.
Erica M. · Sr. Manager, Systems and Operations · Information Technology and Services · October 26, 2023
Overall, our company is very satisfied with Avature. We have very positive end user experiences for all types of users which was our goal. Like any software, there are challenges but the positives outweigh the negatives twofold.
Pros: The ability to customize to meet our specific business needs. You would think with a SaaS you would be limited, but that has not been our experience with Avature. The ability to make updates to fields, workflows, views, portals, forms, templates, etc. is very easy and does not require a technical expert to make the changes.
Cons: One of the challenges we face is keeping up with the enhancements and fully understanding how to use the enhancement in our instance. Some are very self explanatory and the explanations provided by Avature are easy to understand. Others, may require some additional training to determine if the enhancement is truly something you want to apply to your instance.
Stephanie S. · Technical Product Manager · Financial Services · October 26, 2023
Overall, it has been very positive! While we are still in the implementation stage we have been impressed with option to customize just about everything we need to be specific to our use case. We are excited for how this change to Avature will impact our team immediately and in the long term!
Pros: Automation, ability to customize to your business need and configure processes in multiple ways. All of the features and functionality to help you work smarter and not harder.
Cons: We cannot rename certain fields/sections or even folder/records to be a name that works for us. For instance, ideally we would have called a record/folder 'Restaurant' but were not able to do that. Access to certain system permissions without completing a certification class.
Adrianne M. · Lead Analyst · Restaurants · October 26, 2023
Pros: The Avature UI is very sleek and clean; it feels natural. The usability is built for simplicity while offering customization for the user. The roadmap since I have been using it has been set up to deliver more features to users and non-developers which has been great to delivery agile results with little implementation timeline and resources.
Cons: The platform is very customizable, but we tend to hit our record limits with lists, reports and dashboards that requires more developing of smaller chunks of data to get the values to generate versus creating a single large level widget for admins or senior leaders to review.
Sarah K. · Manager - Systems and Technology for Talent Acquisition · Hospital & Health Care · October 25, 2023
Willingness to work toward solutions to any situation! Flexible technology that is continuing to invest in development to stay a leader in the HR tech space. The fact that this company is privately held and is investing more in development than in SALES, they are focusing on being the BEST IN CLASS rather than selling the most. Refreshing!
Pros: Flexibility and ease of configuration for each business strategy and situation in any industry. There are literrally NO limitations. Avature will work with any client to enable their vision.
Cons: Challenging for Tech Support to respond quickly, as each client's instance is unique and the support specialist has to "learn" each instance before addressing an issue, in most cases.
