Pros: 7shifts still remains a really simple and easy tool to manage schedules, clock ins/outs, and overall tool for tracking employees and for employees tracking schedules. I really like the new improvements with the scheduled were it is clearly text/colours to see who is working when. The change where you can also see you scheduled and upcoming shifts while clocking in is also a bonus feature. There seem to have been improvements with glitches too, where there is less freezing or errors occurring compared to before.

Cons: No dislikes noted over the 2025 year as upgrades have improved tech issues and errors, and have improved overall efficiency and functionality.

Pros: The efficiency when it comes to clocking someone’s hours is very reliable. It seems as if this company has mastered the art of getting hours in accurate calculations for payment down to a Science.

Cons: One of the only downsides 27 is that the app sometimes crashes and it’s hard to understand which amount of hours are being calculated and then with American companies they use it. The Canadian time difference is a lot.

Pros: I find it to be the most user friendly way to communicate with a variety of employees and make updates in real time. It is effortless and employees are immediately responsive and have implemented using this platform with ease. I am so delighted at how well it has been integrated to our entire organization!

Cons: I genuinely can't think of a single aspect that I don't like or appreciate about the platform. I was worried about everyone implementing it but every employee did so with incredible ease!

Pros: Hi, I really like 7shifts for my waitressing job. Whenever i have a shift that i can trying to get covered, I just post it here.

Cons: there really isn't anything i don't like about it. its easy, efficient, and timely. all things i need for this type of app.

Pros: I liked how it was very easy for associates to submit shift swap requests and for managers to approve them. Same with RTO requests, very easy to use. Additionally, I liked how managers could post announcements and there was also a direct message feature.

Cons: I really can't think of anything I disliked about 7Shifts. I think the app is very user friendly and easy to use!

Pros: Easy to schedule communicate with employees. Setting up a new employee is very easy as is work area and job .

Cons: Pricing has increased support is less than it has been in prior years. And it has been down frequently

Cons: Users report occasional performance issues, such as slow loading times, random logouts, and server crashes that can disrupt clocking in.

Pros: It was easy to organize and see where and when my shifts were while maintaining a decent speed when being able to clock in and out for work.

Cons: It was a bit difficult to get 7shifts to be accurate sometimes since the location can sometimes be thrown off, and internet sometimes plays a role but it otherwise is janky.

Pros: Super easy to use, easy to pick up open shifts, easy to give hits away, easy to track hours worked and pay per day

Cons: Scheduling display is somewhat hard to use and follow, can be confusing when looking at future schedules

Pros: We found the app to be difficult to use and so stopped using after 1 year. They kept billing us even after we cancelled.

Cons: The customer support is appalling. We tried again this year to cancel but they quoted their customer agreement and refused to discuss. It’s all AI robots.

Pros: I liked that 7shifts made it very easy for myself and fellow employees to review and even share shifts.

Cons: There were times that the information was not up to date regarding shift availability that led to some shifts getting mixed up.

Pros: How user friendly it is! Staff can quickly log in and access their schedule, request time off and blocked off dates.

Cons: I really didn't have any cons about using 7Shifts. My restaurant used it mostly for scheduling only.

Pros: Easy to swap shifts, easy to keep record of shifts and swaps as well as floating shifts for pickup when available.

Cons: A lot of clutter, but generally works well. Wish there was a better shift swapping system for multiple shifts.

Pros: A straight forward, and no-fuss workplace app. Let me schedule my staff and set specific notes for special days.

Cons: The app has a habit of logging everyone out, or the servers crashing in general. It would make it difficult or impossible to clock in sometimes.

Pros: i really enjoyed the fact that u can have other managers schedule and move around people and easy guided.

Cons: sometimes my employess had trouble loading into the app to be able to see there schedule. and that would make it a conflict

Pros: I thought it was good for making schedules and was relatively easy to set up initially. Notifications were relevant and timely.

Cons: I found it hard to easily navigate an individual's schedule as an employer. Would have been nice to just be able to click on an individual and see their hours worked.

Pros: So great for scheduling purposes and also creating a chat for staff to guarantee shift coverage

Cons: Sometimes the chat lags, but it is an easy reset in a new browser!

Pros: How easy it is to put shifts up for bid or to bid on open shifts. It’s very user friendly for admin to approve.

Cons: The way the schedule populates as an administrator, it’s very busy and hard to read through.

Pros: Allowed for ease of viewing weekly schedules as well as posting and updated time out as well as needs when shifts were needed to be picked up by other workers. Also integrated with iCalendar

Cons: Sometimes felt a bit clunky and as if internal messaging was difficult to use
