My overall experience with Phressia was very helpful for our HIPPA compliance paper work and patient personal information.
Pros: Phreesia was very helpful when it came to checking the patient in when they arrived, keeping up with medical records and forms that the patient have to filled out at the time of check in.
Cons: When the patients filled out the name of the pharmacy, Phreesia had some difficulty transferring to our current EMR.

We have had Phreesia for15 years used is without interface for all that time. Finally have new EMR ECW that interfaces and we still love it.
Pros: Phreesia support is always there to help and the services they provide make our jobs so much easier. Couldn't do without them so when we went looking for a new EMR Phreesia interface was mandatory before we did any demos.
Cons: Can't think of anything that is a down side. They are responsive and keep adding services that make our jobs easier

Wonderful! My overall experience with Phreesia has been fantastic. Their IT department is quick to respond and troubleshoot any issues efficiently. Our provider representative is knowledgeable, supportive, and always takes the time to educate and assist our team.
Pros: 1. Broadcast Messaging 2. Patient Check in is just one click 3. Patient Surveys 4. Pre Registration 5. Balance Due 6. Templates for Email and Text Messaging 7. Total Patient Panel broadcast 8. Payment Assurance 9. Easy to use dashboards 10. Our dedicated Account Executive – Provider Solutions (the ranking could easily be swapped, making Leila #1). This is the first clinic where I’ve used Phreesia, and I’ve found it to be extremely user-friendly and a great all-around solution. I only wish I had the opportunity to use this product sooner!
Cons: The only drawback is that broadcast messages can’t be sent until the day’s schedule is loaded. It would be helpful to have the ability to send messages in advance.

Pros: the original service I subscribed to was QeuDr, which was technology that automatically filled cancelled appointments by texting patients who are on the schedule in the future to ask if they would like to come in earlier. Qeudr was purchased by Phreesia a few years ago.
Cons: Horrible customer service and "Gotcha" clause in contract requiring cancellation 60 days before annual renewal date.
Katherine G. · MD · Health, Wellness and Fitness · July 9, 2025
Very good. it took a lot of education by the staff and a lot of hand holding but in about 90days we had most of the kinks worked out
Pros: the ability to charge card on file and allowing patients to pay copays and previous balance before setting foot in the building saving a lot of time at check in
Cons: some of the critical information collected via Phreesia is not transferred to Office Practicum as discreet data where it needs to go. Staff needs to interact with documents and PDF files to get the right information where it needs to be
Martin J. · Practice Administrator · Medical Practice · July 8, 2025
Overall my experience with Phressia was not too bad. It was always nice to be able to take payments in a timely manner.
Pros: Phreesia was easy to use when checking patients in and taking patient payments, which is especially important when you have a line of patients trying to check in.
Cons: Some setting were not as user friendly. It was always a hassle to authorize insurance policies when they were not coming up as automatically being verified.
Julia M. · Receptionist · Medical Practice · May 8, 2025
more positive than negative but not amazing. It's good that is integrates, but requires staff assistance for many older patients taking up valuable time
Pros: ease of use for most patients is good. integration with EMR and PM software is a plus. Older patients struggle
Cons: very lengthy. Multiple screens, multiple signatures and numerous questions. Not always easy to find how to proceed to next screen, hard for older patients to manage.
Michael B. · dermtologist · Hospital & Health Care · April 17, 2025
Awesome! Whenever I have an appointment with a facility that uses Phreesia. The mobile app is very easy to use.
Pros: the portability of the pads, making it easy to use in office. Also the online feature for privacy.
Cons: This app is wonderful to use. No complaints
Yolanda S. · Managed Care Coordinator · Hospital & Health Care · March 31, 2025
Phreesia has become an integral partner in the management of my practice. It allows us to focus more on providing quality care to our patients.
Pros: Phreesia has many tools that saves my practice time, money and worry. Insurance eligibility, payment assurance and appointment all help our practice keep a full schedule and collect balances. Phreesia has been an extremely valuable addition for our practice.
Cons: Unfortunately no service is one hundred percent and when there is a zone issue, nothing can be done except wait for service to be restored.
Mario N. · Director of Operations · Medical Practice · March 20, 2025
Two thumbs up! Way more positives than negatives.
Pros: I absolutely loved Phreesia. The intake pad when patients would arrive was very user friendly. We could see how far they had gotten and when they would be done on intake. We could verify Insurance through Phreesia. It would tell us co pays due and balances.
Cons: Some patients would complain that the intake was somewhat lengthy however that could be our practice issue. I know we had added things on there that the Doctors wanted such as psychiatric evaluations.
Leigh C. · Financial Advisor · Medical Practice · March 14, 2025
My overall experience with Phreesia was a good one! Phreesia definitely increased the patient to clinic communication and lowered our phone hold times.
Pros: The ability to communicate quickly with patients.
Cons: We didn't like the inability to easily send out a broadcast message.
Tami F. · Practice Administrator · Medical Practice · March 14, 2025
Very negative overall, looks like a good idea, looks like it would be worth to put effort on getting it to work, but it fails due to cumbersome implementation. At the end we actually didn't save any time of the assistants and front desk people and we are paying north of $600/month for nothing but another task to do.
Pros: Not much after putting a lot of effort to make it work (we are talking 3 years)
Cons: Patients hate it, the interface is not good. The link with Office Practicum is lacking, the card reader is antiquated, the customer service is cocky, annoying and absolutely convinced all the reason why something is wrong is your fault. No easy cancelation as they have this day practice of bad software companies
Ricardo P. · Practice Manager · Hospital & Health Care · March 13, 2025
Pros: The support tech was amazingly helpful in implementing the system. It has so many features available, more than your standard.
Cons: There were some things lacking in regards to the payment interface that made it a little inconvenient for our practice and the tablets are a little archaic
lauren g. · practice manager · Hospital & Health Care · February 27, 2025
not the best. seemed as our office was the beta for everything
Pros: appointment accelerator, works pretty good, some flaws
Cons: was not set up properly and had difficulties using it.
Andrea H. · Front office manager · Medical Practice · February 26, 2025
Excellent. The best account management of any medical software we've used- from improvements implemented to access to an actual person for help.
Pros: Improvement in efficiency of collecting patient demographics and medical history, check-in, and collecting payments.
Cons: Interfacing of all medical information into our practice management system. This is because of HIPAA, but would take efficiency to the next level.
Brandy M. · Practice Administrator · Medical Practice · February 25, 2025
Overall a great partnership! Our patients are so familiar with the tool and it has become ingrained into many of our teams processes.
Pros: The support we receive from our customer success manager. Always open to trying new things.
Cons: They do not have an estimator tool. Because of this I have to use 2 different vendors on the front end.
Mary H. · Director, Patient Access · Hospital & Health Care · February 19, 2025
Excellent, very pleased with Phreesia. Patient satisfaction is consistently positive.
Pros: Phreesia offers a convenient and easy to use tool for patient registration and check-in. In summary, the tool is intuitive, with intelligent prompts that incorporating capture of pertinent demographic and insurance information - including clinical screens and necessary forms.
Cons: OCR technology to read drivers license and insurance card images.
Joseph K. · SVP CRO · Hospital & Health Care · February 5, 2025
It has been amazing since I started with them June, 2008. You can't ask for a better check in product
Pros: Everything. There is nothing about Phreesia that isn't fantastic.
Cons: Nothing. Their customer service is above all others.
Shari C. · Practice Administrator · Medical Practice · February 5, 2025
We have an excellent rapport with our Client manager at Phreesia. He stays connected on a bi-weekly basis (at minimum) with the intent of enhancing the tools we have at our fingertips and improving the service that we provide to our patients and clients.
Pros: Phreesia has allowed us to automate our point of service/copayment collection workflow and increased the amount we are collecting on a monthly basis. I also appreciate the Appointment Accelerator feature that has helped us backfill up to 40% of our cancelled appointments.
Cons: Our end users have difficulty at times when they have to navigate patient arrival through Phreesia and through our native EHR.
John E. · Director of Support Services · Hospital & Health Care · February 4, 2025
Very good. We have been with them since 2014 and best decision company ever made.
Pros: The customization, service, and ease of access it has created for our patients to complete forms/registration prior to visit to then allow us more time with the patient. The text option is also a great tool. Phreesia consistently listens to feedback to improve and actually makes those improvements happen, you are not just a number, your voice/opinion matters.
Cons: Integration into EMR is a huge plus and this happens with Phreesia and we like, but the integration into our EMR on the clinical side of things could be a cleaner looking and that is getting really nit picky.
Kaitlyn B. · Operations and Data Analyst · Medical Practice · February 4, 2025
Simply impressive. Phreesia's product and knowledgeable work force solve real problems with the Veradigm health clinic platform.
Pros: The sales and implementation team at Phreesia was highly knowledgeable, competent, adept at problem solving, professional, polite, and extremely responsive. The product is very good and stands in the Veradigm platform gap very well, but it was that team which makes the product really shine.
Cons: There are a couple gaps between Veradigm PM and eHR that Phreesia still does not span for us. Not yet, anyway. I suspect it's only a matter of time before the ever evolving Phreesia solution solves the rest of the Veradigm integration issues. I do wish Phreesia payments worked with any credit card reader, but
Daniel J. · Practice Manager · Hospital & Health Care · October 31, 2024
Phreesia has spent the last few months guiding us through customization and implementing a new system across 7 locations. They have been very helpful and efficient to work with.
Pros: The communication and support during implementation was instrumental to our success.
Cons: Not applicable as this point. We have not had any bad experience that would cause me to not like any feature.
Allie R. · Director of Clinical Informatics · Medical Practice · October 21, 2024
Very smooth, positive, professional. They weren't on my radar initially, but very glad we chose them.
Pros: Simple and smooth implementation. They request your consents, logos, and handle the rest. It was a very minimally demanding implementation compared to others I've experienced.
Cons: Nuances related to multi-site implementations required us to get more detailed testing. We missed a few critical customizations (reminder templates, logos) required by locations at go-live that we needed to fix later.
Natalie M. · Director Operations · Hospital & Health Care · October 10, 2024
At first, I feel like it was overwhelming because I came after 3 weeks of implementation. But I was able to catch up easily. Phreesia University is very robust and helpful. It appears that Phreesia University is kept up to date with any changes.
Pros: Ease of use. Efficiency to workflow to our organization.
Cons: Sometimes I didn't know what questions to ask during implementation, but I was able to talk to my Phreesia Sr Consultant and she was able to bridge the gaps.
Andrea W. · Director of Practice Management · Medical Practice · August 26, 2024
overall change is difficult but the Phreesia team truly listen and help and customized at our request to best fit our practice needs
Pros: communication with the onboarding nad implementation team were very proactive and responsive.
Cons: implantation time , Phreesia had some sort of update which delayed out time line which then interfered with other major projects in the office.
