Microsoft Bookings is an online appointment booking and scheduling tool for small businesses, available as part of Microsoft 365. Customers can book on the platform, get a confirmation email and calendar invitation, and reschedule or cancel if necessary. Microsoft Bookings lets managers receive online, phone and SMS bookings for your business and helps streamline the booking workflow. Customers can create appointments directly from your website or by calling you on the phone. Teams get a single view of all bookings, tools to personalize and brand the service page, send reminders to customers, and integrate both scheduling with existing systems so that partners can see appointments in one place.

Using MS Bookings saves a lot of my time rather than doing phone tags with a customer. This lets them select a time on my calendar instead.
Pros: The ease of setting up appointments is really great, this also adds a link to your signature whenever you email.
Cons: No issues encountered so far. Although it does glitch a bit when creating custom schedules but it’s easily fixed.

Overall my experience with Microsoft bookings was positive, however when analysing the cost benefit it was not needed.
Pros: My favourite aspect of Microsoft Bookings is the ease of integration with Microsoft outlook. This makes scheduling appointments and meetings very simple and easy.
Cons: The only issue I had with Microsoft Bookings is that it is not great value for money. When compared to similar systems within Outlook or Microsoft calendar it is not required.

Overall, Bookings has been a great tool to book meeting to meet with colleagues and clients and is tied to your organization's Office account so that you can have it professionally tied to your organization.
Pros: This tool is tied directly to your company's Office 365 account, so you can easily create a calendar booking site that your colleagues and clients can reserve time to meet. Additionally, a Microsoft Teams link can automatically be generated for virtual meetings. Also, you can create a booking page for yourself or a shared one with colleagues to have multiple people on a team that can be booked to compare times and who works best.
Cons: There is no option to connect your booking page with any other video conferencing platforms, which makes you have to use Teams even if it's not the most viable option. Additionally, it would be nice for your page to have a banner or image theme to make it visually appealing.

My overall experience with Microsoft Bookings is a 10/10!! The convenience and professionalism and organization is all I need!
Pros: The best and most important thing I love about Microsoft Bookings is the scheduling/appointment process for my clients and I!!
Cons: There is not much that I do not like about Microsoft Bookings honestly! I guess you can incorporate AI somehow, that’s the future.

I was looking for a booking solution for both internal and external meetings that would suite my brand and need. Overall this is a solid solution, but if you want customizations and more importantly, to work with other softwares, you may need to check other alternatives
Pros: A great solution if you already work (or planning to work) with other microsoft solutions like Teams or Outlook in a cohesive ecosystem. It solves you a great list of headaches! It also comes at a very cheap price point and it's easy to implement with forms and pages.
Cons: If you want more customization options for your business or plan to use other products integrate with Microsoft Bookings, that are outside of Microsoft native programs, then you should think about it not twice but thrice.

My overall experience with Microsoft Bookings has been positive. It makes scheduling much easier by allowing people to book time based on real availability without back-and-forth emails. The integration with Outlook and Microsoft 365 is a big plus, keeping calendars up to date automatically. While the setup can take a bit of time at first, once it’s configured it runs smoothly and saves a lot of administrative effort.
Pros: It allows for customers and team members to book or schedule a meeting with me easily without a lot of emails back and fourth on availability.
Cons: There are really no cons that I can think of for this product - it provides a easy setup and link system for clients/customers and staff.

Pros: Microsoft Bookings makes it easy for me to manage appointments for myself and others. As an administrator, being able to quickly manage appointments is a must and this service makes it easy.
Cons: Some of the booking templates feel limited. I also was unable to make use of the shared booking pages for my organization, but I am sure they are helpful for others.

Overall, my experience has been positive. It helped streamline scheduling for test drives and customer meetings, reduced missed appointments, and kept everything organized in one place with the rest of Microsoft 365.
Pros: It made scheduling test drives and follow-up appointments much easier. Customers can pick an available time without back-and-forth emails, and everything syncs directly to Outlook, which saves time during busy days.
Cons: The setup can take a little time at first, especially when configuring services and availability. It also feels more basic compared to some standalone scheduling tools.
Dylan M. · Sales Rep · Automotive · January 6, 2026
Pros: Integration with office365 is still amazing. It's handy that you can plan time in front and after a meeting automatically to block.
Cons: Still the lack of customisation, but in addition there is no way to change the calendar to not show the weekends. We use it for business purposes and we don't operate on the weekends. It confuses the people booking. (because the week starts on Sunday by default and there is no way to change it to start on Monday)

Very useful tool for producing booking requests and organising events with numerous of different attendees.
Pros: Very good value for money for managing any kind of booking processes. Generally very helpful software.
Cons: Although it is well priced, there are a few free versions of alternative software which could in time be more competitive.

I have been able to integrate Microsoft Bookings easily into my daily workflow. It saves me time because I'm not having to go back and forth with each person to figure out "what time works best" for all of us. This makes it easy, and I don't have to pay someone to keep my calendar going. l
Pros: I added Microsoft Bookings as an app on my Microsoft Teams account. I am able to set my available hours for meetings, and it merges with my calendar so no one can book a time to meet when I already have something scheduled. It was free to add on my Teams account, and there was no learning curve. I was able to create different booking links so there is always one that goes out on any email I send so I can be available to my team. When I send an email to people I am trying to recruit, they get a different link that shows up that I titled "first time meeting" so I know in my calendar what kind of call I am going into before the meeting starts. I haven't had any issues, but I know customer support is always there because it makes it clear where to go. And the best thing is, when someone books a time to meet, I get a notification and a reminder sent to my email so I can stay on top of the job.
Cons: It took me a little bit to figure out the different features and how I wanted to implement them into my daily workflow. But you will get that with any kind of product you use. If we aren't trying to make things better, what are we doing? I will learn all the features if that means it saves me time.
Kelsey H. · Coordinator · Non-Profit Organization Management · December 29, 2025
Pros: Super user friendly to configure! I love how easy it is to send a link or include it in my signature for people to book meetings with me.
Cons: I would like a little more flexibility with the schedules because I don't work on every Friday. I would like to select specific dates.
Anonymous User · HR Assistant · Human Resources · December 16, 2025
Pros: The ease and convenience with this software is phenomenal. I absolutely love the features, and how affordable it is, and it’s helped with my business so much.
Cons: There’s so many features it’s easy to get lost how to do something sometimes. So it takes some getting used to in order to get it down
Althea W. · Owner hair stylist · Consumer Services · December 8, 2025
Pros: Useful tool for securing appointments with prospects who can book a convenient timeslot at their leisure.
Cons: Limited customisation options on the public homepage which could be enhanced with options to align branding with your own company.
Anonymous User · Sales · Wholesale · November 20, 2025
My overall experience is good! I would recommend this as an option to any small business wishing to find an affordable yet robust option for scheduling appointments.
Pros: It's somewhat simple to learn and fairly intuitive. The interface is laid out well and easily navigable. Scheduling is pretty straightforward with the ability to setup individuals within your team. When configured properly it works quite well with Outlook calendars. Cost is reasonable for my business, and payments can be paid out yearly or monthly. I've not had to contact customer support, but using AI tools like CoPilot have helped me figure out most of any issues I've had with it. When properly connected to Outlook, the reminders / notifications via Outlook work perfectly.
Cons: I had some trouble connecting it up to my Teams app installed on my computer. It simply would NOT add a calendar event. I also had trouble getting the Online Chat option to work through my website and enabling the Booking option through it. However, upon adding a connector (which took some research) I was able to get the calendar issue resolved. The Booking issue in the Online Chat eventually worked out, but I cannot remember how I fixed it. Lastly, the load times of the scheduling app can be a bit lengthy when embedded on a website.

I really enjoy using it and people book with me daily using this app. it's easier than me finding time slots and afterwards sending them to people
Pros: Helps people book meetings based on my outlook calendar easily and find open slots and spaces, it's great value for money and the learning curve is very easy.
Cons: It cannot work with google software, so it has to be microsoft stack like outlook and outlook for web
Ray W. · Senior Consultant · Accounting · November 14, 2025
Overall - Positive. It's certainly better than nothing if you're already using the Microsoft 365 suite of apps.
Pros: It is nice to be able to link a calendar to an email to help with groups trying to book a time together.
Cons: It's pretty cumbersome to setup for groups and relies on one person chasing the rest on a group to ensure their calendar is actually up to date.

Great tool when working inside Microsoft’s environment! You need to figure out all settings at first, but once you know how to navigate, almost anything is possible. Great tool for booking calls with colleagues and also externals.
Pros: I don’t work in sales, but I find this tool to be very useful! Colleagues and externals can use it to book meetings with me easily, and it’s connected with my calendar, so they can only book slots when I am available. Another great feature is that you can make special booking links that allow people to book meetings with you and your colleague(s), showing only available slots when all of you are free for a call! I must say that there is a learning curve, but it’s relatively easy to navigate through all settings, and there are a lot of resources to learn about all features. Another awesome feature is that it allows externals (that are not guest users in your Microsoft tenant) to use the link to book a meeting with you. It’s a free tool if you have Microsoft paid account, and it’s worth using it if you (your company) operates in Microsoft’s environment.
Cons: Learning curve exists, and there are a lot of options to check. Not every setting’s purpose is clear at start, but once you learn to navigate it’s pretty easy! I get why there are so many settings, so I don’t mind it much. Just consider you need some time to figure everything out when using for the first time.
Anonymous User · Project and IT Manager · Renewables & Environment · October 30, 2025
When I first utilized it, a walk through guide did not pop up, so it took some trial and error testing with a colleague for certain settings. However, since my initial use, quick start guides, templates, etc. pop up, which is very helpful.
Pros: I stumbled upon Bookings while looking for a way for employees to schedule headshots with me. Bookings came in very handy. It allowed me to fill up open slots and make sure there were no duplicates. There are features that allow you to select specific days or certain time frames which helps with usage.
Cons: Not necessarily something I do not like, but I wish it had a feature to limit the amount of people who could sign up for the same time frame. This could be offered through Microsoft Outlook as well.
Sophia T. · Human Resources Assistant · Banking · October 29, 2025
I have personally used Microsoft bookings to handle scheduling appointments with people that I work with. It’s very handy and helpful to have it. Connect to my Outlook calendar and email and I constantly get updates on activity regarding my bookings.
Pros: Microsoft bookings is easy to set up and allows for flexibility to accommodate your schedule to people. I need to make an appointment with you. You can copy your link and add it to your email signature or send out whenever you need someone to schedule an appointment with you. There’s tons of customization options with all the features available. This is a great option to Calendly and is native to Microsoft. If you connect your Outlook calendar to bookings, appointments will show up on your calendar and you can integrate zoom or other virtual meeting platforms.
Cons: The only thing I can share about Microsoft bookings is that there is a learning curve if you’re unfamiliar with using scheduling software tools. But there are tons of tutorials on how to use everywhere.
Elizabeth M. · Director of IS Project Management · Mental Health Care · September 18, 2025
Yannick L. · Talent Manager · Hospitality · August 8, 2025
Overall, it's been easy to use and figure out without having to look up videos or tutorials. I love the integration with the other Microsoft produces I use, keeping me organized.
Pros: This is support easy to use and set up for simple meetings. I've played with it for more advanced bookings for tours and groups and I'm excited to get started using it! I love that you can add logos and customize your booking page. I love that it integrates with my outlook ap and calendar.
Cons: I can't figure out how to make certain changes or delete a shared bookings page, even as the administrator. It would be nice for customers to be able to pay through the bookings page.
Kara S. · Administation · Education Management · July 30, 2025
Overall, this is a great product. It makes scheduling easy for potential clients and keeps me organized.
Pros: Primarily, it easily synchs with my personal Google calendar. It also allows my potential clients to book initial meetings with me.
Cons: There really isn't anything that causes me to not like this software. It is easy to use and has been very reliable.
KimAlyse P. · Positive Outcomes Professor · Professional Training & Coaching · June 16, 2025
Its very helpful if you use the Microsoft suite of products. The ability to coordinate its use throughout is valuable.
Pros: Users can easily select a meeting time based on the availability I provide. I like that it syncs with my Outlook calendar.
Cons: The complete meeting info doesn’t always come to my calendar. Often the name of the person is left off.
Christal H. · HR Coordinator · Non-Profit Organization Management · June 5, 2025
Microsoft Bookings is great since our business is already using Microsoft 365. I found that it was very user friendly and easy to manage appointments.
Pros: I appreciate that Microsoft Bookings seamlessly integrates with my Outlook and other Microsoft suite programs. It is very easy to use and set up.
Cons: I found that although integration was easy while using other Microsoft programs, there were some syncing issues with apple users.
