Pros: It's better than no purchasing system. Enforces approval process and controls how expenses can be coded.
Cons: There is no flexibility in configuring complex approval hierarchies. It is extremely slow and very hard to extract data or find transactions

From the very first meeting with the Salesperson, to the negotiating, implementation and check-ins now that we are up and running - we are very pleased !
Pros: The support at implementation and also the flexibility in tweaking to best suit our needs have made all the difference. Highly recommend Teampay.
Cons: Can't think of anything at the moment. We required some customizations and it took many meetings, but it was time well spent.

It was good, I used it for a function last year and it was fairly straight forward and easy to use. Did not require many steps.

Pros: It was very easy to use even though I did not have much prior experience with the function. I had to request the card for a payment trip to another state.
Cons: Nothing- it was fairly straight forward and easy to understand. It can take a bit of time to get used to the interface but one can learn quick.

Love how quick and efficient the service is. Any time I need funds from my company, I instantly get it!
Pros: User interface and its integration to Slack makes it extremely simple to request funds and get them approved in a matter of minutes
Cons: I enjoy pretty much everything about Teampay, there has not been anything I can think of that left a negative experience to share

Teampay has improved my daily life tenfold by reducing my finacial stress and government tax paper trail.
Pros: Team pay is reliable and informative, never miss a pay day with team the best way to pay your teams with money.
Cons: There are no cons to team, its easy to use, understand, and get customer support assistance if anything goes wrong.

When my company first started using Teampay it was easy to figure out how to use it without having a training or someone tell you how to find what you were looking to do. In the beginning it took a while for the reimbursement to come through, however since my expense was the same every month I was pleasantly surprised that it now gave automatic approvals and reimbursement was issued within a week.
Pros: Easy to navigate and intuitive. It's not clunky and everything can be found easily without having to go through a training.
Cons: How long it takes to get reimbursed. Initially it took about 2 weeks for my first couple of reimbursements to come through after manager approval. Now its 5 business days.

Teampay has been a great way to streamline our finances in our department, and a safe way to have other people purchase things where we can track what's happened on our card.
Pros: Convenient and easy to add funds to our teampay card, and easy to keep track of expenses and receipts.
Cons: Larger amounts of money take time to add, and sometimes it takes several days for the money to come across.
Julie R. · Missions Department Co-Chair · Religious Institutions · September 25, 2025
Thought it was versatile, could be worse or could be better, just thought it was alright. Overall thought it could be better. it arrives a little to late for my paychecks, essentially making me forget when my check would come in.
Cons: it arrives a little to late for my paychecks, essentially making me forget when my check would come in.

Pros: I did like it one bit. It was an unnecessary system that we paid for. 100% just makes employees feel like we can't be trusted to maintain a budget.
Cons: It's 100% unnecessary and slows things down completely. Like I previously said, this is a nanny software that I guess is good at 'protecting' the company. But if you can't trust your employees to use their own credit cards, knowing that we have to have the expense approved anyway, and not abuse their spending, then the company is already in trouble.

Excellent system for submitting expenses. Very user friendly and intuitive. Efficient and timely for approval.
Pros: It's very easy to navigate. Finding information is logical and simple. Sections are well organized and clearly labeled.
Cons: There isn't really anything that I don't like about the system. Internally, I think we have too many categories to choose from when submitting expenses.
Susan A. · Assistant Director of Auxiliary and Summer Programs · Education Management · September 22, 2025
Pros: Teampay makes it easy for employees to request purchase; it is linked to Amazon. The process of uploading receipts for reimbursement is also straightforward.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of, but I didn't know what Teampay was based on its name. This is the first organization that I know of uses Teampay.
Yen T. · Teacher · Education Management · September 21, 2025
Teampay has been extremely easy to navigate and keep track of my receipts with. In the mobile app, i can just open it after i make a purchase, snap a photo, and reconcile it right then and there. Mitigates the risk of losing a receipt of having a desk full of a pile of unorganized receipts.
Pros: Easy to navigate, upload and reconcile receipts!I really liked how easy to access it is, as well as how user friendly it is.
Cons: I wish there were more options for accurate coding/reconciling - however i'm unsure if that is a teampay issue or how my company set theirs up.
Alexandra A. · People Operations Manager · Child Day Care Services · September 19, 2025
Pros: It's easy to create POs and easy to track the stage of approvals of the orders i opened, I really enjoy having the chat too, no need for communication outside Teampay
Cons: don’t like Teampay’s interface very much, as I think it could be more intuitive. For example, when POs are paid, they just show up as zeroed instead of clearly marked as “paid” or something similar. Also, the organization could be improved, it would be much easier if the POs were grouped by month or had some structure instead of just appearing in one long list.

New software is daunting but this was honestly a breeze. Everything is on one page. I'm not having to search for vendor and purchasing manager codes. I can very easily start typing the vendor name, easily find my department in the dropdown, easily locate the class for the purchase and upload a quote. Zero lag time. I guess I like a lot about it. Also the communication during the approval process. I've got a clear record of when I submitted what request, who it was for, and when it's approved.
Pros: What I like the most about Teampay is the ease at which I can very quickly submit a request for the products I need to properly serve our students.
Cons: The thing I like least very likely has nothing to do with Teampay and everything to do with the building process that we're making our way through, to personalize the software. I do see new options at each log in so I know we're building the plane as we fly it. My belief is that it's all internal personalization.

I was able to request purchases from my supervisor in advance. I was also able to upload receipts and my reimbursements came quickly as a direct deposit.
Pros: It's user friendly! Even as a beginner in a new job (3 weeks), I've been able to submit a number of purchase requests and reimbursements with ease.
Cons: My company has many many different expense accounts and the alphabetical search does not help as they have very similar names. It would be great if the application could be set automatically for my department or remember my most common choices ("favorites") with the option to see other expense accounts as needed.

My overall experience with Teampay is the with the use of my Teampay Visa card. It is great that it is accepted every where, I can use it for businesses purchases and my business travel. Uploading receipts is very easy and I am able to do it as soon as I make purchases or transactions hit my card.
Pros: Immediate notification of purchases being made or posting to my team pay card. The team pay site is easy to navigate and review transactions and receipts that have been added or that are missing and need to be added.
Cons: There really isn't anything I dislike about it. It is a very user friendly system with little issues that I have seen.

Overall, Teampay made our spending process way smoother. After a short learning curve, it’s been simple and reliable for day-to-day use.
Pros: Teampay makes it super easy to handle team spending. I like that everything’s in one place so we don’t have to chase approvals or dig through emails. Seeing budgets and transactions in real time is really helpful too.
Cons: Setting up an account took me a bit of time and some features needed a little getting used to at first.
Edrico M. · Senior Designer · Computer & Network Security · September 19, 2025
Overall, my experience with Teampay has been very positive. It simplifies my work spending, provides great visibility, and makes expense management much less stressful. It has improved efficiency and accountability.
Pros: I really liked how easy Teampay makes it to track expenses and manage approvals. The platform is user-friendly, quick to learn, and saves time by giving clear visibility into spend across the team.
Cons: The only drawback is that sometimes there are small delays or minor glitches for example I tried to change a payment method once and there was an error as if it was not updating but in actuality it was, which can cause a bit of confusion. However customer service was able to help me resolve quickly and kindly.
Jenny S. · Onboarding · Financial Services · September 16, 2025
My overall experience has been pleasant, and Teampay is an easy platform to use. Customer support is on top of things regarding the chat as well.
Pros: The apps user interface is ease to use! Uploading receipts for each transaction is simple to do. Love that part.
Cons: Not a big fan of credit returns to online transactions. The delay has taken over 30 days to credit at a time.
Kinsey B. · Events Coordinator · Events Services · September 15, 2025
Great overall experience with Teampay. The quick customer support and user-friendly interface stood out, despite the initial confusion with the slack channel. The platform’s efficiency and the team’s dedication to resolving issues made it a positive journey. I’d recommend it with a few tweaks for better onboarding.
Pros: Had a sign-in issue and got customer support right away. Great responsive service that resolved my problem quickly and efficiently. The team was professional and friendly, making the experience smooth and stress-free. I appreciated the prompt attention to detail and how they prioritized my needs.
Cons: Could be better with instruction of how to use the app in the slack channel. The lack of clear guidance made it confusing at first, and it took some trial and error to figure out. More detailed tutorials or initial support would help new users navigate the platform more easily and enhance the overall experience.

So far my experience has been pretty pleasant. I’ve used corporate cards other jobs in the past and this has definitely been one of the smoothest experiences.
Pros: The ability to quickly get access to funds after requesting from my manager. It makes the process so easy when I’m traveling for work.
Cons: The one thing I’d say about the Teampay card is that it would be nice to have the tap option on the cards.
Martoinne W. · Training Specialist · Retail · September 12, 2025
It was so easy to implement and train our team on Teampay. Support and our representative were with us every step of the way, and we were not dropped after implementation. They have always been quick to help whenever we've needed it. Now that we use them for our corporate cards, AP, and expense reimbursements, I can't imagine going back. I cannot recommend their products or working with them enough.
Pros: Teampay is the full package. A solid product that is easy to use for those in our company, while still meeting the requirements of our accounting department. We began our relationship with them just for corporate cards, but quickly transferred as many of our processes over as we could. The preset rules and processes we are able to build within the system allow us in accounting to be comfortable that controls are in place. Since it is automated, our time is not being spent on small details, freeing us to focus our efforts more efficiently.
Cons: No overall complaints. There are a couple of small items that are on our wish list. Some of which I believe are on Teampay's roadmap. Multi-line expense reports would be nice. Also, we have a lot of budgets, probably more than most users of Teampay. Currently, there is no way to filter or search the budget page for a specific budget. So if we do need to look up a specific budget, we have to click through several pages. All the other pages are searchable, but for some reason, the budget page isn't. My guess is that most people just don't need the function on that page.
Abigail K. · Assistant Controller · Consumer Services · September 12, 2025
The overall experience is definitely a pleasant one. I have used several programs that are similar, and this has been the top one thus far. The integration with Slack is amazing!
Pros: The user interface is very user friendly and easy to learn how to use. It makes placing purchase orders super simplified and stress free.
Cons: Access permissions seemed to be a bit confusing and caused a bit of friction during the initial setup process. Still not a big deal, and easy to work around!
Hershel T. · Director of Student Advancement and Alumni Relations · Non-Profit Organization Management · September 12, 2025
It was good! Teampay is always there to help or answer any questions in a timely manner . I like the ease of use to submit reimbursements.
Pros: It's easy to navigate, even for non-tech-savvy folks. No steep learning curve; it's designed to feel conversational and straightforward, like chatting in Slack.
Cons: Not all vendors or payment processors accept Teampay's virtual cards, leading to declined transactions and frustration during purchases.
Junior T. · Data Processor · Accounting · September 12, 2025
It has been great. It's easy to send requests for funds. Approval process is a breeze. Glad my company uses it.
Pros: Quick and easy to use. Gives good guidance on how to submit requests and access funds. I've never had any problem with the digital payment being accepted.
Cons: Can be an issue when trying to use Teampay for items like hotels. Doesn't work great for security deposits on rooms, you need to create multi-day charges, and most hotels will require a physical card upon check-in (which really isn't a Teampay problem, just a general fact of booking a hotel).
