Great experience overall Oh Dear makes website monitoring simple and reliable Alerts work perfectly, settings are flexible and the status page is a nice touch for client communication
Pros: Everything works as expected: reliable alerts, flexible configuration and a clean status page It covers all the essentials for solid website monitoring.
Cons: Pricing could be more accessible for smaller projects or freelancers, but the value for money is still good overall

Pros: Easy to implement, and I had great feedback from their helpdesk. They even added a new feature based on my feedback.
Cons: Nothing so far, i would highly recommend their service. It didn’t have specific c# instructions, but everyone with even a bit of experience will be able to implement it on the platform of their choice

Domain confidence 99%
Pros: Lots of tests, good easy to handle dashboard, god histroy, fair pricing, alerts are perfectly customizable
Cons: Nothing really much what I dont like. Only thing if one has to onboard quite a few porjects the setup (enable, disable) test takes a bit time

Good options to skip certain alerts, which are may not of itnerest at a moment. Ways to snooze or even skip alerts when maintenance is on. So its customizable but not too overwhelming with just tons of preferences.
Pros: Great Tools beside the default monitoring service. Customer support is good. Nice User Interface. I could get out metrics to present to my customers and was rewarded with new efforts they pay for.
Cons: To control a URL with different languages. Maybe I miss the right configuration or guidance to do so.

Pros: It has a really sleek interface compared to the competition. It is just really nice to use. Also I like the feature set. It as everything you need, both for websites and for individual services. Oh, and it is super reliable.
Cons: Not much to dislike. It is a very focused tool doing a job really well. The only thing is that the integrations for PHP seem to be better then the ones for TS or Python. But that has not been a problem for us.

Pros: Easy to use interface, wide range of monitors and fair price for the market. We transitioned from another provider in just a few minutes
Cons: It would be useful if you could change the frequency of the uptime checks, this would especially handy for non production site

Great tool written by a well-respected software house. I have over 100 websites monitored on it and it works well.
Pros: Replaces several services with one integrated offering. Really good for PHP based frameworks like Laravel and CraftCMS but can work with anything. Love the regular Lighthouse reports to monitor ,movements in front-end performance over time.
Cons: I've had some weird false positives but to be honest it happens with all monitoring applications. It's also a little pricey but you get what you pay for :)

My experience has been smoothless. I needed a tool that would allow me to have an overview of the health status of a web app and alert me when something isn't working. I found it all in Oh Dear.
Pros: I like the ease of use well balanced with the available features. I think is a very well balanced solution between features and simplicity.
Cons: It's not the most advanced tool available, so if you need a lot of insight maybe this is not for you.

It's a clean and easy to use service which doesn't require technical know-how to set up and is perfect for webdesigners maintaining a few client's pages. It's not complicated and just works! I really really like it!
Pros: This design is super user-friendly and easy to navigate. Adding a page is a breeze, and the notifications are quick and easy to understand. If you use multiple pages, the price is reasonable and can easily be added to a web maintenance service for your customers. The support is quick to respond and friendly.
Cons: I wish there was an option to just have a single page to check which was a little more cheap. (2 - 5 € / month)

I've been using Oh Dear for my own websites and web apps for the past few years, as well as for my clients' websites. It's always done exactly what it needed to do, and support has always been fantastic if I've had any questions.
Pros: Not only do I get peace of mind that my clients' web apps are up and running, but Oh Dear also gives me confidence that they're performing well. The "Uptime", "Broken Links", and "Lighthouse" features are a lifesaver for me!
Cons: I don't have anything negative to say about Oh Dear 😄

It's one of those remarkable products that keeps chugging along and is there when you need it. But never bothered you along the way.
Pros: Super easy to get started, and then you can add more complex features when needed.
Cons: That the positive email also come with from name Oh Dear, they should be Oh Yeah 😆

OhDear has been a consistently great service with excellent uptime. It helps me keep track of our services and provide valuable reports to our clients
Pros: We monitor over 24 services and OhDear gives us an accurate reflection of exactly whats going on. It integrates excellently with Laravel so we can monitor our clients applications with ease
Cons: There isn't much I dislike - sometimes the performance graphs don't load - that'd be my only complaint!

Oh Dear is one of those set-and-forget tools that you configure once, and then you hope to not be notified by them. Super reliable, love all those various checks that I can set up for my domains. It's not only site-is-down monitor, it's also cron, sitemaps, performance, lighthouse reports, status pages, etc. I love that I can give access to others as well, good for reports. Their support is also great, there were several occasions when I reported some bugs and they fixed them promptly, which is awesome. And the configuration is very easy - you add the domain, and depending on some features send them an HTTP request, and that's it. Super easy.
Pros: This is an all-in-one-tool for all things related to my sites monitoring.
Cons: Being on a grandfathered plan, I can't upgrade to yearly payments to have less invoices to deal with :)
Slava A. · Engineering Manager · Design · January 19, 2025
Pros: Simple to use, integrates with Laravel easily and has all of the features I require.
Cons: There is really not much I can say about liking something the least. It does everything I need it to!
Adam W. · Owner · Computer Software · January 15, 2025
Pros: Great UI, makes monitoring a web app a breeze (especially if working with laravel)
Cons: So far so good, nothing to complain about :-)
Oliver S. · CEO · Airlines/Aviation · January 13, 2025
Pros: Its simplicity. Also, it just works! The notification system is also likable!
Cons: Nothing comes to my mind currently. But it would already been useful when broken links actually were listed in their notification mail.
Dennis Z. · Fullstack Developer · Computer Networking · January 10, 2025
Excellent for website monitoring, not as easy to use for web apps with multiple services/domains/daemons/etc.
Pros: The level of integration with Laravel is excellent
Cons: Our apps have many modules on multiple domains. This forces us to use the "pro" subscription which is not that bad, but the tracking of multiple services, daemons, schedules, on different servers behind load balancing is not easy, but it is a tough requirement.

We switched from another provider because it became overly complicated to use and wasn't performing as we wanted. Plus costs were increasing that we couldn't justify. Oh Dear was refreshing because it just does what we want/need without unnecessary bloat. So often platforms constantly add features and functionality causing unwanted distractions as a customer. Oh Dear does the things we want whilst remaining simple to use and using up minimal time. We run a couple of accounts for multiple projects and have no reason to look elsewhere.
Pros: A nicely designed product that does what we want it to do without any unnecessary fuss.
Cons: Nothing negative to report at this time.
Adam M. · Product Lead · Internet · January 7, 2025
Pros: the way that show so many details about the domains and the problems
Cons: I think that everything that I used on Oh dear is fine
Martin V. · web developer · Consumer Services · January 6, 2025
Ohdear is easy to set up and dependable and at a good price point.
Pros: Simple to use and dependable. I like the fact that several domains are included in the price.
Cons: No real cons. It could be good if it also could simulate form submission.
Nick B. · COO · Human Resources · December 30, 2024
Pros: It does what it requires to do, notifications everywhere with api are the best
Cons: No cons for my usage since I found no problems at all
Antonio P. · Technical Account Manager · Publishing · December 30, 2024
Compared to other big service providers for uptime monitorings, oh dear is very good. There are no false positives and the service works as it should.
Pros: - European service - Multiple monitoring services - Does the job very good and stable
Cons: - Pricing - Missing alert configurations - Contact possibilities / Support
Luca W. · Software Engineer · Information Technology and Services · December 27, 2024
Use it daily, directly from the dashboard and via notifications, for all my projects - and it's been 5 years
Pros: It's the ideal dev Swiss knife: uptime, performance, certificate health, DNS, broken links, mixed content, and more in one place. Slack notifications out-of-the box are really great. Significant updates are
Cons: Not a big fan of the UI when I started using it in 2019... but the whole dashboard has been revamped since so really, it's perfect.
Nicolas D. · Developer · Internet · December 26, 2024
Pros: I love having all my site management in one place with a sleek interface.
Cons: I wish there were some more API integrations for new features, but they get added fairly quickly.
Owen V. · Senior Backend Engineer · Information Technology and Services · December 22, 2024
It is good for monitoring all aspects of the app.
Pros: It is easy to work and monitor all the important things.
Cons: Sometimes it doesn't work on safari. Something like a error message why the scheduler task is not executed.
