We have enjoyed using GageList and all the features it provides for such a low cost of ownership. The ROI is exponential compared to the manual database system we were using before.
Pros: The ease of use and cross-platform functionality between devices. The ease of using it on the floor with a phone or tablet.
Cons: We have not encountered a con of the system besides it being cloud-based and being an annual subscription which is more of a preference than a con.

Good
Pros: easy to use. Easily keep track of devices.
Cons: It does not let me edit the assignee section to add people. Seems like i need to have authorized access to do that.

Been ok. I have made a few suggestions and did not receive a reply. Also asked to customize the calibration cert and was told there was an outrageous fee to remove some wording.

Pros: Inexpensive compared to others. Easy to install.
Cons: Ease of use. Wish there were more customizations. Id like to see an option to print a blank calibration Work Order to send with my techs to fill out and give to the customer on site.

Pros: I really enjoy the ease of using this software. Great for keeping track of what gauges we have and where they are located.
Cons: The mobile version could use some work. When I update my setting preferences on my desktop, I feel it should carry over to my phone.

It has been a positive experience so far.
Pros: Easy to understand and use this product.
Cons: Nothing is undesirable in this product.
Syed Zakiuddin S. · HSE Manager · Machinery · September 27, 2023
Overall it is very good. Lot of options to set and utilize.
Pros: All the available features and requested additional custom features were added which was most important and very useful.
Cons: We are still exploring all the available features at this stage, as we are slowly building the entire system.

Our overall experience has been positive. the ease of access from any computer is a huge advantage. Changing over did take some time, but once all the gages were entered, we actually had an accurate log of the devices we have.
Pros: We were able to switch from using Gage Pack, which is much more expensive and even more so if you need multiple seats. With Gage list, we are able to have multiple users, and we only pay for what we use. I love that your pricing is based off the number of gages we have instead of having to pay a very expensive fee regardless if we have 10 gages or 1000. We saved quite a bit of money for our company by changing over to Gagelist. One of the biggest pros about Gagelist is that I can access it from any computer. With Gage pack, you have to be on the computer where the software is loaded. Since Gage list is web based, i can access it from home. If I have to miss a day of work, I can still access our gages and contact employees who need to perform calibrations.
Cons: I have no quite figured out how to send email notifications when gages are coming due. I still have to evaluate the calibrations coming due soon, then email the pertinent people to get those calibrations done. I believe the function is there, but i have not been able to receive an email about coming due gages, or past due gages.

ok
Pros: Notifications, and at a glance view, this helps to see the equipment and tools easily.
Cons: Trouble logging in without waiting on security codes that never come, separating maintenance from calibration.

Gagelists gives us a much cleaner simple gage management program. It also allows us to have multiple people have access from their own computer, or phone. There is no more need for a single computer or station to have all of this data. Using an online server gives us a much faster program, and being able to create templates instills a sense of consistency when doing reports.
Pros: Easy, clean and simple lay out makes it very quick to find or search for what you need, and to print reports for audits or reviews. The app makes this a game changer as far as ease of use and utility. Being able to look up a gage on the factory floor, and being able to ensure it's calibration status gives us very quick assurance.
Cons: I wish I could remove the options in the gage descriptions we do not as a company want to use, such as specific manufactures, Aquisition dates, cost, ect. It would be nice to able to customize and make the information screen smaller and quicker, and it would help prevent issues of people putting incorrect information into different tabs.

Gagelist does everything we need it to do. It is a great database for our gage assets and the related calibrations. It has some nice built-in reports with the ability to download data.
Pros: The product is easy to use and has a great deal of built in functionality. The dashboard is laid out well and very convenient.
Cons: The interface is somewhat confusing and the flexibility of the on-screen display is limited.
Wayne M. · Controller · Railroad Manufacture · September 22, 2023
Professional, neat and timely outcomes. GageList offers an excellent performance.
Pros: Very accurate performance. I give it all the credit for a clean and well organized dashboard. Customization was not an issue for us. User friendly software with very affordable subscriptions. Setting up and automation is a big achievement. Try GageList.
Cons: Everything about GageList is satisfying. It works perfectly for us and I cannot challenge any of the features. Am happy.
Jacob F. · Store Manager · Retail · September 12, 2023
Far better than I could have hoped for.
Pros: Dashboard shows quick results. As well, I can modify it to run my numbers by asset number.
Cons: I am still learning the forms part of the software, so will reserve judgement until I learn what I can and rely on support ( which is great) for help in the future.
Andy T. · QA Inspector · Consumer Goods · December 16, 2022
So far has been good, have learned on the way
Pros: Integration and control, keeps us updated on past and present calibrations
Cons: Signature programing is complicated not to frendly
Eduardo E. · Director · Textiles · December 13, 2022
Overall, great. It gets me through the challenge of lacking sufficient licensing to more expensive software, which is my company's current struggle.
Pros: The ability to organize gages in a way that tracks, and send notifications is the most simplistically important features that GageList provides. I also like that I can export and utilize the information in any way needed. The ability to track calibration records and document tracking to gages are also great features.
Cons: The only downside to GageList was the lack of company or user specific needs. For instance, in my company we have fixtures, that are connected to specific programs, each fixture has its own tool(s). Each fixture has 3 important values: the asset ID, the fixture ID, and the program ID, and several programs and can be connected to each fixture. Each tool has its own of each value as well. This is a bit difficult to track using GageList, but it's not impossible in some form. I simply utilized other fields for the values I needed. For example, the "source/vendor" field became my tool ID field. However, I really wished that I could also list the vendor, which of course did not always match the name of the manufacture - so I couldn't use that field as a substitute.

It has been a positive experience to this point, no complaints here.
Pros: When comparing with other Calibration Management Systems, I liked the pricing, cloud-based storage, and ability to be utilized by multiple personnel.
Cons: At this point I haven't really found any major problems with the software. There are things that could flow a little easier, or be more instinctual to access.
Adam M. · Quality Assurance Manager · Aviation & Aerospace · December 5, 2022
Overall the software is not a bad choice for small to medium calibration problems.
Pros: Pros: Unlimited users (not paying for each user), cloud base software with easy to use apps for phone or tablets (able to look up calibration reports in the field), email reminders to help the calibration tool keep up on what tools need to be inspected and easy calibration record traceably
Cons: Cons: some of the gage plans do not much the data storage use (1,000 gages but can only have 1 GB of data). More data storage can be purchase for an extra cost ($25 per extra 1 GB). The software should a TB limits not GB limits.
Ethan M. · Quality Manager · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · December 5, 2022
Pros: Easy to import existing information, without worrying about typing it all. Easy to use, with simple commands and instructive tutorials that actually tell you what you want to know.
Cons: At the moment we have not found any issues in using this software.
William W. · Quality Systems Engineer · Automotive · December 5, 2022
Pros: Ease of use and label printing and entering tools
Cons: Pricing needs to have another bracket for tool counts in our range
Tim F. · Managing Partner · Airlines/Aviation · December 5, 2022
the major problem we had is keeping track of the gages and certificates. we recently had a ransomware interruption and we lost all of our inhouse data, the benefit of having an offsite data base is very beneficial. once you start using GageList it is a little overwhelming, but it gets much easier as you get accustom to all of the resources it has.
Pros: my main goal was to find something that provided alerts and notification automatically as well as a barcoding system for traceability.
Cons: when trying to print labels for the gages is a little difficult, ex. choosing different sizes and ability to manipulate the body of the label.
Scott M. · Quality Technician · Defense & Space · November 29, 2022
GageList has made calibration management very simple.
Pros: I like it's ease of use. I was able to navigate and perform tasks as soon as I logged in for the first time.
Cons: When I try to back up to a previous screen (like from the "Active Gage" list back to the dashboard), it takes me to a completely different page. Easier put, the back button on the browser doesn't go back to the previous page. It's not a huge deal, just an observation.
William D. · QC Supervisor · Utilities · November 29, 2022
Pros: Clearly the software was developed by someone that had a full understanding of instrument and calibration management. There could not be a more intuitive package on the market. Multiple ISO auditors have commented on just how impressed they are with the UI and simple operation for what normally is a complex task.
Cons: I can't think of one. This software has transformed how we manage our instrument and calibration process ( for the better !)
Trevor D. · Manager · Logistics and Supply Chain · November 29, 2022
We needed a software to help us keep our ISO 17025 equipment calibration up-to-date. It has replaced a very large and tedious excel file.
Pros: It works perfectly with our existing system, easy to use (once you get the hang of it), keeps us on schedule and minimizes non-conformances due to uncalibrated/wrongly calibrated equipment
Cons: We would like to be able to add multiple uncertainty budgets to each Gage. We would also like to use it to schedule our testing as well.
Marina S. · Director of Operations · Oil & Energy · November 29, 2022
We switched from a localized spreadsheet and switched to this product and it is going to help increase calibration tracking and upkeep tremendously.
Pros: That the App can be downloaded and used anywhere.
Cons: Still new to the software and learning all of the capabilities.
Robert W. · Operations Process Engineer · Medical Devices · November 29, 2022
Pros: Very easy to use. I imported about 150 devices from a different software in about 10 minutes.
Cons: User permission settings could use a little work.
Kate O. · Manufacturing engineer · Mechanical or Industrial Engineering · January 10, 2022
Works well for top down
Pros: Global - Being able to utilize this globally. Also the Mobile function as to where I can check on phone.
Cons: Nothing that I can state right off hand - does the work I was expecting.
