Camp & Class Manager

Pros: All in one platform for every aspect of our camp. It's essentially the "home base" for basically all of our camp operations. We live in Active and it's a critical part of registration/cc processing/reporting.

Cons: At times we get feedback from parents/players that the registration process is long + lots of options.

Pros: There are not a lot of pros. Once information is inputted, you can generally customize a report to get the data you need.

Cons: It is clunky and difficult to use, customer support is non-existent, and we are unable to help our customers problem solve issues with our accounts. Emails don't get sent out randomly, making it impossible to use for communication with our classes.

Pros: I like the ability in the note section to see previous years notes. I like that we can connect multiple account together for families.

Cons: $88

Pros: Easy for people to sign up from home. Efficient, and detailed booking information.

Cons: When we have had issues the support team wasn't the best.

Pros: The flexibility it allows us when setting up multiple camps at different locations with various themes, ages etc.

Cons: At times the back end is a little hard to navigate when making changes or trying new things.

Pros: It is easy. We can't "break" it. It is intuitive. This system meets our needs and since we only need it for our summer camps we quickly snap back in to the system each summer because it is so easy to use. We love that it keeps all of our data from year to year and we can quickly and easily compare one year to another.

Cons: It won't make name tags for us. It won't make car tags for us the way that we want them.

Pros: Set-up and Familiarity, mostly. Easy process to get started as we had a time constraint.

Cons: Guest experience/ registration process, does not cater to all needs

Pros: Easy to transfer registrant between sessions; easy interface to use; able to create new program sessions on your own

Cons: Does not store necessary additional information - waivers, medical info, etc; cannot merge duplicate participant accounts

Pros: We like the idea that families can register for activities at any time and that the fees are automatically collected. I also enjoy the repeat seasons and the ease of set up

Cons: Families often choose the $89 insurance fee and then ask me for a refund. I also get frustrated when I need to make a refund and the account has no money and we can not process the payment until we sell another item.

Pros: I enjoy seeing the dashboard stats, being able to run reports and customize reports. I also am happy about the new automated waitlist feauture as well as the cancellation option.

Cons: It's expensive and offers little support consider the cost. Chat option isn't ideal for the cost. Having a phone support option would be nice. Sometimes certain functions glitch or don't work. For example the system is not letting me combine families that have accidentally created a couple accounts. I have tried to merge them, but it just isn't working properly.

Pros: Ability to watch registrations closely and mark important information.

Cons: The Inability to reach uploaded documents easily.

Pros: Reports I can get, customizing options for my business and my families

Cons: Lots of duplication when registering, don't get notifications if someone requests a refund/cancels registration, no assistance on free acct

Pros: Makes the registration process for our camps very easy.

Cons: The finances once the camp is over are really hard to figure out. There isn't a lot of clarity in how it all works as far as the fees taken out and what our actual revenue is.

Pros: Ease of creating a new season Ease of group emailing

Cons: Need for updates being met Cumbersome pages for registration

Pros: The main reason for choosing Active Camp &Class is that it secures registrations as soon as they are put into the cart. We have a competitive registration opening, and it allows users ease of mind to know their classes are secured as theirs as they go through the process of entering the data/info for each participant.

Cons: I REALLY would like to be able to customize some of the wording during the registration check-out process, and the product is locked from doing so. We do not use this for camps, but rather for adults signing up themselves+family+friends for Field Trips, and there are parts of the process that really don't match the wording we use, or the functionality we need. It would be SO NICE to be able to update the process with some of our own wording. This is the #1 thing that keeps me from liking Active 5-stars. The other thing is, I don't need birthdays, and would like the capability to take this off as a required field.

Pros: I like that everything is online. I love that you can transfer registrations, issue refunds, and compare camp seasons.

Cons: There is not an easy way to set up team camp registration.

Pros: Ease of registration, reporting, financial information

Cons: Limited manipulation with regard to programing and questions etc.

Pros: Once you get used to the software, it is easy to use.

Cons: There are several features that are very confusing.

Pros: I really enjoy the ease with which I could set up my program. Billing and registration is super smooth. Plus it is easy to create discounts and apply them.

Cons: I wish that the financial piece was a little smoother. I would like the option to remove money from my account in my own timing. I also wish the payment schedule was easier to find.

Pros: I got thrown into my position and we were already using Active. When I had any questions, I knew I could always get help from the customer service reps. They've been amazing in the 2+ years our business has used this program.

Cons: I do wish it was more straightforward and user-friendly on both administrator and student views. As well as the ability to add pictures for different classes or sessions. Anything nowadays needs to be visual in my opinion.

Pros: allows me to easily manage my clients and classes. It is a U.S. based company.

Cons: The customer support is just okay. Hard to talk with an actual, person.

Pros: Manages large number of registrations. Good reports. Ease of use.

Cons: I have submitted some enhancements, please do consider those.
