Jackrabbit Dance

Pros: Very user-friendly. All the training is provided so it's an easy to use app. it does have everything needed in it, I consider it a "one stop shop" - great use for what it costs.

Cons: It was difficult to be able to modify different billing details. at first, as a small studio it could be considered expensive for some but not once fully and properly implemented.

Pros: great support, lots of features, and updates often w/ consideration for feedback & features requested!

Cons: Some features don't function perfectly for us but there's usually some workaround that works well enough.

Pros: Being able to easily manage all aspects of the registration and class administration process, including initial class registration, scheduling makeup classes, processing tuition, and tracking attendance.

Cons: The recital/shows management could be more integrated with the rest of the platform- you can't adjust someone's recital participation from their profile. It is also challenging to manage drop-ins, but the recent updates are promising!

Pros: Overall we are happy with Jackrabbit. I view alot of posts complaining that they are unable to speak with someone for assistance on the spot, their customer support is great. They reply quickly and work until our issue is resolved. I honestly have come to like this way of communication.

Cons: Billing, although it has improved. We have various billing dates for various areas of our business and I have to manipulate things to make it work. Jackrabbit has been supportive in giving guidance, but it can still prove to be difficult. And I am disappointed in Jackrabbit pay. We were forced to switch to them, and I do feel our previous merchant was better.

Pros: Easy to use and to teach others how to use. Love the parent portal and that parents can see all messages sent to them. Customer support is awesome! Always there to help and never make me feel dumb for not knowing something.

Cons: I wish there was a faster way to enroll a lot of students at once. I wish we didn’t have to pay for inactive students. I know we can send them to lead but then when the come back I have to remember and pull from lead file and merge accounts. If I don’t remember they look like a new family.

Pros: Jackrabbit shows a thorough overview of your business and has many options for reports. You are able to break down income reports by genre, class, students, year, etc.

Cons: The transaction summary on each client account can sometimes be confusing. The running balance is often hard to track. It is easy to miss charges on accounts if you have rules set. We often comb through accounts to ensure they aren't missing anything

Pros: Ease of online registration and seemless integration with a Family Portal which allows families to stay on top of their accounts, including billing.

Cons: Some improvements needed for tracking a drop-in pre-paid punch card system.

Pros: I love the customer service. Whenever you have a question they’re eager to get you an answer quickly.

Cons: I feel like some of the features could be streamlined for ease for dance studios.

Pros: I like that you can make newsletter templates directly on Jackrabbit to give a more professional look to your communication. Also, that you can look through all transactions and family history/

Cons: That parents cannot chose certain things to pay for on their account, they must pay the full balance at once.

Pros: The organization of my customers and their ability to see their account, make a payment and have their own portal.

Cons: Sometimes it’s difficult to pull reports

Pros: Great support and help center, parent portal function and staff portal functions. Office team appreciates the training modules and ongoing software updates.

Cons: We would love to see a refresh of the recital module. It is great at identifying conflicts but having the rosters refresh to "Yes" is difficult to keep track of who is/isn't participating with accuracy.

Pros: Love how user friendly JackRabbit is to use. I like the at a glance homescreen with all my important numbers right there.

Cons: Maybe there's a way - but I would like to streamline how I post and charge tuition each month.

Pros: Very easy to work with. You can manage a lot of stuff on here for your dance studio from classes to inventory.

Cons: I don't like that we aren't able to connect our online sales on Ecwid to our inventory sales on jackrabbit.

Pros: I like how user friendly it is to navigate through the program.

Cons: My least favorite thing with jackrabbit is setting up events and it not showing up like a class when they sign up for. Like a reminder being sent out to parents that they joined the event.

Pros: It helps organize our work flow and allows us to keep track of our daily operations.

Cons: It’s overly complex at times to do simple tasks. We try to look for information and there are multiple steps involved and we often can’t get the reports we need.

Pros: All information is all very organized and well thought out layout

Cons: The website is not mobile friendly which makes entering skills difficult.

Pros: I like the dashboard and the fact that you can schedule payments so it is automatically charged.

Cons: The costume measurements feature could be more extensive

Pros: The ability to take payment through Jackrabbit Pay and set up automatic drafting. JR customer service is also the best.

Cons: The costume/sizes feature. I wish it was more updated and would take all of the measurements into account when auto sizing.

Pros: I like everything is in one place. I appreciate being able to automate payments, prior to jackrabbit we used a manual system.

Cons: The complexity of the system it reminds me of android. I wish it was more user friendly like Apple. There are so many tabs and I wish all things related i.e. finances were easier to access.

Pros: Customer and community support as well as integration

Cons: Zap limitations to automate systems and dashboard changes

Pros: Reporting and tracking has been essential for attendance and creating studio standards.

Cons: There have been times where it was difficult to find exactly what we needed in the support section to correct errors and such.

Pros: I love Jackrabbit's user interface—it's intuitive and easy to navigate. Whenever I need assistance, the support team is readily available and incredibly knowledgeable. I also appreciate how Jackrabbit actively listens to user feedback and continuously updates and improves the product based on our needs.

Cons: There’s honestly nothing I dislike about Jackrabbit Dance.

Pros: I do not use Jackrabbit to its full potential. We are a small studio. However the program helps keep my studio running and it is easy for the parents to access as well. Once you learn to navigate the program you find more things it can do for us. It streamlines everything and puts it in one place

Cons: The set up process was time consuming at first. Everything takes time to do it right. But now, 12 years later it is easy.
