WORST DECISSION WASTED $2500, TIME MONEY EFFORTS ALL GONE. GETTING NO RESPONSE FROM SUPPORT TEAM AS IF NO ONE IS ALIVE TO RESPONSE
Pros: INITIAL EXPERINCE REMAIN VERY GOOD BUT AS YOU START BUILDING THEN GLITCH WITH START AFTER CONTACTING SUPPORT TEAM GETTING NO RESPONSE AND FEELING LIKE DUPED MY MONEY, WASTED MY TIME, ENERGY AND EFFORTS
Cons: MONEY EATER WITHOUT ANY PROMPT ITS RUNNING OWN ITS OWN CONTACTED SUPPORT TEAM BUT LOOKS LIKE NO ONE IS ALIVE TO ANSWER

Overall, it’s been a positive experience for getting things up and running quickly. It’s a great tool for prototyping, experimenting, and collaborating without needing a complex setup. However, over time you do start to notice the cost side more, especially if you’re using it regularly or for larger projects. It’s a platform I’d still use, but with a clearer understanding of how pricing scales as usage increases.
Pros: . You can go from idea to working prototype without much setup, which makes it great for testing concepts or learning. The interface is clean and user-friendly, and collaboration features make it easy to work with others in real time. It also supports a wide range of languages and tools, which gives you flexibility depending on what you’re trying to build.
Cons: The main drawback is the pricing once you move beyond basic usage. While it’s accessible at the start, costs can add up quickly when you rely on it more heavily or need additional resources. This can make it less suitable if you’re working within a strict budget. There’s also a feeling that some limitations only become clear once you’re already invested, which can be frustrating when planning longer-term use.

Pros: The illusion that it was my solution for my business to stop wasting money on freelancers. I switch from Wix to Replit. Boy this is becoming a regret
Cons: Over charging my accounts Scam Receiving 1000 email spam from the A.I running up my bill. How horrible the customer service is and was. (Trash) Took down all my business sites for 3 day still not up and then trying to charge my account.

Great application. I've learned a lot, though would like to find ways to make it more of a learning experience so that I could work alongside the AI agent. Right now I rely on the Agent to do everything since I am not technical. Overall a pretty amazing product.
Pros: I like that you can work with an agent to build an app from the ground up. The app allows individuals to do what would otherwise take team. It's fun to dream up new ideas to see what AI can do.
Cons: I can get very frustrated at the AI if it gets the prompt wrong and you have to iterate a lot to fix something very simple.

Excellent. Fun. Professional. I really like the complete set of features that makes replit attractive to non-professional developers to build functional software at a low cost.
Pros: It is very easy to get started. With patience, incremental update is possible. The final software developed can look as professional as it can be--all within one "developer" who would have taken years to learn to code manually before the AI era.
Cons: AI is still not quite mature. I wish there could be a choice of various pricing options for calling out to different third-party coding agents, so the overall cost of the project may be managed.

Horrible, frustrating and expensive. I’m finding Replit AI unreliable for multi-file refactors and dependency changes, where it tends to modify unintended files, break builds, and loop through expensive fix attempts.
Pros: AI agent for no IT background individuals, not much more to day here.
Cons: I’m finding Replit AI unreliable for day-to-day development. Error corrections often trigger new, unrelated defects across the codebase; the agent consumes substantial compute while attempting fixes; and the lack of guardrails (diff confirmation, scoped edits, one-click rollback) makes recovery slow and costly.

Replit has become my go-to tool for rapid prototyping and lightweight collaboration. Whether I’m sketching out an MVP, testing code snippets, or teaching others, it saves me time and lowers the barrier to trying new ideas. It’s intuitive enough for beginners but powerful enough to kickstart serious projects.
Pros: Replit makes building quick MVPs and experimenting with ideas incredibly easy. I can spin up a project in seconds, collaborate in real time, and test concepts without worrying about setup or infrastructure. Its simple interface and wide language support make prototyping a breeze, even when juggling multiple projects.
Cons: The platform can feel limited for larger, more complex projects—performance and customization options aren’t as strong as a full local development environment. Occasionally, packages take longer to install or updates lag slightly.

Pros: A lot of features that can help a non-technical person to improve his skills and create software in a very easy way but with a pro structure.
Cons: I love agents v3. They are super powerful and now they even create automations or run test on itself. You should supervise, test and iterate but the results are delicious.

Overall experience with Replit has been great, I am even able to understand the tenets of software development by building with Replit.
Pros: I think it is the most intuitive, and user friendly vibe coding platform in my opinion. It is also full stack in the sense that it takes care of UI, auth, backend and even hosting all in the same platform. I think it helps non-tech people a lot who can be overwhelmed while building software.
Cons: I think the agent sometimes keeps repeating the same error which you have to course correct but it also eats away al your credits - this is a bit disappointing.
Anonymous User · Tech Program Manager · Computer Software · September 14, 2025
My overall experience wit Replit is that its unmatched. Before subscribing g to the service, I tried the free plan and noticed that as compared to others, Replit came out with the most desirable outcome. I also asked ChatGPT, Deepseek and Grok to advise me as a novice in coding to get my ideas out there and they all recommended Replit. I love the interactive aspect of the agent. My experience as been flawless so far
Pros: Replit has in a broad sense made getting my ideas out there very easy. I've never a time to learn to code an depending on others to have my ideas implemented always left me unsatisfied but with Replit, i have full control and can easily tweak things to my satisfaction. Vibe coding is Replit!
Cons: I'm not very impressed with the hidden costs that are associated with (agent) usage. It doesn't make sense to me but i guess the cost of a software engineer is way higher

I am in awe of what Replit can do and the speed at which it can do it. Having experienced its capabilities, now I just want it to be even faster and cheaper.
Pros: Replit is obviously such a powerful and groundbreaking tool. Its ability to create complex software with only natural language input is staggering. I love that no matter how big the task, Replit will always surprise me and deliver functional solutions.
Cons: I found the cost of using Replit for complex applications was far higher than I expected. While I understand the costs savings compared to traditional coding are immense, it didn't quite meet my expectations. I used up my entire year of Teams credits in the first month and have been paying as I go since then. The second issue definitely contributed heavily to the first issue, and that is how time consuming and therefor expensive debugging is in Replit. Being that Replit is writing the code in the first place, it does get frustrating when debugging what seems like a simple feature takes days instead of minutes.

My experience with Replit has been transformative for my development workflow. The platform brilliantly combines intuitive design with powerful functionality, making coding more accessible and enjoyable. The collaborative features are excellent, the AI assistance is genuinely helpful, and the deployment process is remarkably smooth. It's genuinely changed how I approach software development projects.
Pros: The ability to build software using natural English language is absolutely revolutionary and feels like magic. Replit's AI-powered coding assistance eliminates traditional programming barriers, making software development accessible to everyone regardless of their technical background. The seamless integration between ideation and implementation is incredible.
Cons: While I absolutely love the product, I'd appreciate more generous credit allocations for users and more competitive hosting pricing. The current credit system can feel limiting when working on larger projects, and hosting costs could be more accessible for individual developers and small teams.

Replit has been an amazing tool to quickly build and publish apps and websites. I use it all the time as a core part of my stack
Pros: Really fast and easy to use. It is easy to get started and you can import code from github or other templates. Easy to connect to cursor, and easy to publish apps fast
Cons: The agent by default on page now is kind of annoying, also the cost of the agent adds up. Also not totally sure how cost is calculated for deployments and deployed apps

Genuinely, this is a game changer for me. Ideas that I've had for years, that have sat dormant because I didn't have the developer skills, can finally be realized.
Pros: The ability to use my prompting skills to generate value quickly for my business, without having to be a developer myself. This has been huge, and I've already created four apps. They've also added so many new features over the last few months, it's nice to see the continued development of the platform!
Cons: It can be challenging when there's some broken functionality, and the AI can't work through it. I've learned how to prompt through it, and sometimes it ends up costing more because I have to switch to the higher powered model to get through a problem.
Matt B. · SVP, Managed Services · Computer Networking · September 9, 2025
Good solid product, usage cap limitations per month overall very useful product for developer but an be frstrating at times for beginers. It can create from prompts but you need to define the promts properly and read around coding best practices to get the right outcome.
Pros: Good value for money and and get you to a working prototype very quikcly. However building a functional 100% solution will need some external support and specialist prompt writing.
Cons: Somties it feels very much like two steps forward and one back. Just like anything it does need time to craft the right outcome. Highly recommned using it in conjuction with something like cursor.

My experience using Replit has been positive overall. I was introduced to it by my business coach, and we've been working on building apps together. I am very impressed and will continue using it without a doubt. Thank you for creating this amazing tool for non-coders.
Pros: What I love is that it's so easy to use. It's intuitive. The Replit Agent is awesome! I am not a coder, and the fact that I can build an app that actually works with Replit is amazing to me.
Cons: I've just begun using Replit, but I've to say, so far, I haven't found anything that's a deal breaker for me.
Yamille K. · Owner · Marketing and Advertising · September 8, 2025
great at getting things to 80%. But then you get a cycle of lies telling you problems are fixed when they never get fixed.
Pros: What I liked most about Replit is how it removes barriers between an idea and working code. You don’t need to spend time installing software, setting up dependencies, or worrying about local configurations. Everything runs in the browser, so you can jump straight into building and testing.
Cons: What I liked least about Replit is the constant error cycles—bugs reappear, fixes don’t stick, and the same issues keep coming back.
Mike M. · Mgmt · Government Administration · September 8, 2025
I’m on my second annual subscription already! Usually, I’ll take a spec from gpt-5 pro or opus 4.1 and have replit go to town.
Pros: Great product for no-code spin ups of an MVP for almost anything! Handles everything from front-end design, to backend db/auth, to deployment.
Cons: It’s hard to do certain things like access a “local” dev server and authenticate codex cli. Also hard to find domain registration.
Austin S. L. · owner · Consumer Goods · September 7, 2025
Replit has been a very useful tools in image creation, bot building, website creation and general ai tasks.
Pros: Great value for money, so much functionality and it has a very user friendly interface. The results are so fast.
Cons: Some lag on desktop, memory problems when agent has gone through many tasks, not enough recall on previous projects.
Shaughn J. · Director · Alternative Medicine · September 7, 2025
I love it! I have referred several people to use it, every single one of them returned with great feedbacks.
Pros: I found it very easy to use. Sharing an idea and seeing it being translated into a usable code was mesmerizing. My ideas are coming into reality right before my eyes - it is so exciting!
Cons: There are certain prompts that break the app and it uses my credits to fix it. (Frivolous user here).
Daisy R. · Owner · Environmental Services · September 6, 2025
Pros: The capitalist model which ensures that all deployment owners pay the fair price to keep Replit servers running and can freely express their views with their repls without risk of censorship, which makes it much better to use than communist hosting services
Cons: The text editor does not work properly on UTF-16 or ANSI text files, which makes it completely unusable for editing any non-ASCII non-UTF-8 text, it also forces Unix newlines, inserts excessive spaces and closing tags during editing, and often fails to auto-detect 1 space indent
Piotr G. · None · Computer Software · September 6, 2025
Mixed. I've had great use and progress for it constructing some useful tools, but there has also been a lot of frustration with credits wasted with no constructive output and banging your head against a wall.
Pros: When the AI works with you to find solutions to your problems outside the box, not giving you BS excuses.
Cons: When the AI pivots away from what you want and kind of does its own thing, hallucinating/misleading you, wasting credits and/or your time.
Simeon J. · Private · Entertainment · September 6, 2025
Very positive. It has helped me go from having no web development experience to having my own app in development, all by myself.
Pros: The agent is very useful at first, and the assistant continues to be useful as the project gets more complex. It's also nice that replit helps with deploying and also giving you a public URL while you are developing.
Cons: The agent stops being useful once a project gets complex enough: it eats its own tail when debugging, or adds redundent code when creating a new feature.
Ivan A. · Founder · Internet · September 5, 2025
Cautiously optimistic, but concerned about its inability to follow clean architecture when coding. I have to continually tell it over and over to make things data-driven (determined by the database) instead of hard-coding the case immediately at hand. Also, it's context is not big enough to remember what I told it yesterday.
Pros: That it handles the full stack, i.e. I don't need to handle DevOps, or DBA, and it can integrate with a paywall.
Cons: It hard-codes a lot of things and costs more time and money than I expected in order to get it to clean up the messes it made.
Anonymous User · CTO · Computer Software · September 4, 2025
Amazing. Ive build two apps and two websites and several tools to use within each in the first couple of months. Prior to this I’d struggle along with a web designer for weeks on end and hate the whole process!
Pros: It’s astonishing to see so many tools come to like before your eyes; websites, Apps, and assessment tools - it’s like having a very VERY bright tech assistant!
Cons: The number of times you need to repeat the occasional command can be a tiny bit frustrating- but I think that’s just a reflection of how high your expectations become based on what it does achieve - so quickly and so easily.
