Easy to clock in/out. Don't really like that it has a location feature but I guess it would make sense from the boss' point of view but as an employee kinda weird
Pros: I like that you can leave a note when you're clocking in/out. It made it easier for me to track and also benefits my boss.
Cons: don't like that when it adds up my time worked, it doesn't round up to the nearest hour it goes into a decimal. Ex: 4.87 hours worked.

Cons: Everything is great there's nothing to not like about this app it's a 10 out of 10 it's self-explanatory

Its a game changer for the company! I started implementing it the past month and it feels like I've used it for years. My workers find it very easy to use.

VERY HAPPY, IT HAS MADE MY OVERALL EXPEIENCE CONVIENIENT AND SEEMLESS. THE SCREENS ARE EASY TO USE AND UNDERSTAND.
Pros: IT SO QUICK AND EASY TO LOG IN FOR THE DAY AND AT THE END OF THE DAY. IT MAKES CLOCKING IN FASTER AND EASIER.
Cons: IT WAS A LITTLE CONFUSING THE CHECK THE WEEKS HOURS, I HIT THE BUTTON ONCE AND REALISED I HAD TO DO IT TWICE FOR THE SCRREN TO OPEN.

I use it for my job at the black sheep and it has been great overall. Very easy and convenient to use. I put my personal email for the giftcard but my company email is [sensitive content hidden]
Pros: I like how I can have it as an app on my phone if I am already preoccupied in a call or something I can just open it quick to clock in.
Cons: I do wish that it would send a reminder or something like hey you’ve been clocked in for a long time, are you still working? Just as a little reminder if I ever forgot to clock out.

No issues! My employer doesn’t allow remote punch, but I love that the feature exists. It’s easy to use at work, and I like that I can keep track of everything remotely through the mobile app.
Pros: I like that it’s easy to use and I can keep track of everything easily through the mobile app. Very simple.
Cons: Nothing. It’s super simple and easy to understand. It would be nice to add notes to the timecard later.
Kate B. · Dental Hygienist · Hospital & Health Care · May 10, 2026
Overall the experience is very easy, user friendly, we rarely have any issues. We enjoy using this platform.
Pros: What we like most about OnTheClock is that it is easy access, its very straight forward and user friendly for us.
Cons: What we like least about OnTheClock is that some of the features doesn't align with the new HRIS we are trying to implement unfortunately.
Charesse P. · HR Generalist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · May 7, 2026
Easiest experience with a third party app. Even though I’ve only been using it for a few months, I can’t imagine not continuing with it.
Pros: Simple. Very easy to use. I use on the clock every morning and every afternoon and there is never an issue.
Cons: Nothing to not like. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. If something had ever gone wrong, I would bring it up.

Overall, using OnTheClock feels like working with a tool that knows its job and sticks to it. Day to day, it’s reliable. Clocking in and out is quick, timesheets are easy to review, and pulling basic reports doesn’t take much effort. For a small or mid-sized team, that consistency is a big plus—you spend less time figuring out the system and more time actually using the data. That said, the experience is very “no-frills.” It doesn’t feel particularly modern, and if you’re expecting deep customization, advanced analytics, or seamless integrations with a bunch of other platforms, it can start to feel a bit limited over time. The mobile side, while useful, doesn’t always match the smoothness of the desktop experience either. So the overall impression is: dependable and easy to use, but not especially powerful or cutting-edge. It’s a good fit if you want something simple that works without much setup, less so if you’re aiming for a highly flexible or feature-rich workforce management system.
Pros: What tends to stand out most about OnTheClock is how straightforward it is. A lot of time-tracking tools get bogged down with extra features, but this one focuses on doing the basics well—clocking in/out, tracking hours, and generating payroll-ready reports—without much friction.
Cons: $93

Pros: The app is easy to use and makes clocking in and out quick and convenient. The interface is simple, and I like that I can check my hours and schedule in one place..
Cons: Sometimes it can be slow or glitchy, it frequently freeze. Sometimes the weekly overview will not work and won't load.
Aswathi P. · Evaluation coordinator · Hospital & Health Care · April 25, 2026
My experience with the app and the system "On the Clock" has been consistently positive. The interface is user-friendly, making it simple to clock in and out without confusion. I find the time-tracking accuracy reliable, ensuring my work hours are recorded correctly every time.
Pros: ON the clock is a platform that is very easy to use, featuring a user-friendly interface and straightforward navigation. Its design ensures users can quickly understand how to access the various tools and features, making it accessible even to those unfamiliar with similar platforms.
Cons: I don’t have any negative comments to make about the On the Clock platform. From my experience, the platform consistently meets my expectations and provides reliable functionality.
Javier T. · OPERATIONAL MANAGER · Hospital & Health Care · April 24, 2026
My overall experience has been really good. It’s reliable, it hasn't crashed on me, and it makes keeping track of my hours feel like a quick task rather than a tedious part of my day.
Pros: What I like most about OnTheClock is how low-stress it is. My schedule is kind of all over the place, so the flexibility of clocking in and out and making changes on the fly is great. It’s super easy to use and doesn't feel clunky at all.
Cons: On the web, I like to view full calendar views of the day I worked. Instead of a week to week basis, I would like to see a full calendar view so I can the hotspots in the month of my gaps in time.
Aaron H. · Communications · Non-Profit Organization Management · April 24, 2026
Overall, I would recommend the product. There are totally free platforms out there, but the GPS could be a nice perk for remote workers or traveling workers. The issue that may arise is if you provide company devices or not, because employees can deny sharing data from personal devices.
Pros: The platform is generally straightforward. The updated home screen is nice as well. I like how you can filter to show more details or an overview of the day on the timecard page, and you can see a quick view of who is clocked in and not. The platform is definitely decent for its cost. We are only using the basic platform right now. I think the GPS is nice in theory but you cannot enforce it on personal devices without indivdiual permission. This is also even harder for work from home employees, because you would need all devices in the system if you want to block out alternate logins - then you also have the issue if they try to work some from a vacation or so. There is no way to allow alternates - you either block out clock ins from not approved devices or you have the setting to send the manager notices of unverified IP addresses. During our time looking around at possible timesheet platforms, customer service was extremley prompt, knowledgable, and willing to help!
Cons: I do feel like another GPS alternate should be provided like an option for the alert to go to the manager and approve or disapprove the unverified IP address. There also seems to be a glitch when someone is an employee that needs to clock in and has a manager role or another alternate role. The system seems to think you have two accounts, and our accounts keep getting locked for editing purposes. Now we are still able to clock in and out, which is the most important thing. However, I cannot edit within the employee information when this happens unless a password resent link is sent to the patient, which means I have to wait on the employee - I have mostly given up when this has happened a few times, because it is not worth the extra time.

Really good and simple to use and its one of the best out there if youre looking for straightfoward.
Pros: How easy it is to use. Very simple and the design is very human for someone who dosent use technology.
Cons: It tends to not clock me in if left the computer on overnight and it says it does but i have to refresh the page and do it again.
Kenneth G. · Sales Agent · Insurance · April 22, 2026
Over all my experience has been amazing. Super easy to use convenient to have it on my phone and anything I have an issue with the kids fixed right away.
Pros: I like the convenience of clocking in and the fact that if I have any issues Customer service is just a email away. Every time. I have any questions they’re there to answer them fast and easy.
Cons: Sometimes when I’m clocking and it doesn’t calculate my punches correctly, but there’s also the pro being able to adjust times and anytime I bring it up to customer service. They get right to it to figuring out the issue.

My employee asked for this to be the tracking tool we use. I reviewed the functionality of it and was impressed with the many features, but still simple dashboard. I like that I can use it on the computer and the same functionality comes through in the app.
Pros: Simple organization of my team. Ability to see the geography of the employee logging in (my business requires different locations from time to time and this feature is a significant benefit). User Interface is easy to use.
Cons: Not a lot of cons. It is a simple tool that gets the job done, and has a lot of features that I need for my team. The pricing of $9 a month is not outrageous, but I'd take a discount for this if it existed. Not a lot of cons to list.
Paul E. · Owner · Medical Practice · April 18, 2026
Pros: Easy for employees to clock in and out and as the business owner I can easily go in and get the hours to complete payroll.
Cons: We haven't really found a downside yet, we are a small business and only 1 employee is using the service.
Chad P. · CEO · Health, Wellness and Fitness · April 16, 2026
Everything is super easy, we picked it up in minutes and it does a great job of totaling our hours throughout the week.
Pros: Super easy to use. We use the app to clock in and out for our trash valet job and would recommend it to any company looking for a simple solution. It's also pretty cool that the app is geo-fenced to ensure that we are onsite.
Cons: On occasion there seems to be a time lag for punching in and out though this is more likely related to our cell service connection between buildings.
Aaron P. · Employee · Consumer Services · April 15, 2026
Overall, my experience using OnTheClock has been good. The platform provides a clear way to log work hours and keeps everything organized, which makes it easy to review my time records. I find the layout simple and straightforward, and the ability to view my hours over the course of a month is particularly useful for keeping track of my schedule and ensuring my hours are recorded properly. While I have run into a few minor technical issues from time to time, the system generally works well and serves its purpose as a convenient tool for tracking work hours.
Pros: I really like using On The Clock to record my work hours. It makes it easy to clock in and out, and I appreciate how organized everything is. The monthly overview is especially helpful because I can clearly see how many hours I’ve worked over the month. It’s simple, straightforward, and keeps all my time records in one place, which makes tracking my hours much easier.
Cons: One downside I’ve experienced with OnTheClock is that it can occasionally have small technical issues. For example, there have been times when it wouldn’t let me log in unless I selected my position, but the drop-down menu didn’t show any position options. I’ve also had an instance where one of my shifts was mistakenly counted as an unpaid break, which required correction. While the system is generally helpful, these occasional glitches can be a bit frustrating when trying to accurately log work hours.

Using this app is very simple, easy to use. Everything is right at my fingertips and very well laid out.
Pros: OnTheClock is very easy to use and user friendly. I figured it out the first time I opened it, with ease.
Cons: Honestly, I have no complaints. The app is so user friendly and simple to use. There is no guessing if I am doing anything correctly or not.

Pretty good for the time I have been using. User friendly, nicely laid out and simple in a good way.
Pros: Ease of use, when starting to use program never struggled to understand. Has functions that are great for both management and employees.
Cons: Wish there was a separate button for “lunch/breaks”. Would also be nice to see meal times logged separately.
Emily M. · Specialists · Medical Devices · April 1, 2026
I would definitely recommend and down the line use myself as and employer instead of an employee having many more people switch over :)
Pros: I use it on a daily it has been the easiest system for my timesheets, not to mention makes it easy on my employers to submit payroll.
Cons: Sometimes the system does take a while to load , few more seconds than Id like , problem isn't so serious.
Alondra M. · Broker · Insurance · March 31, 2026
Overall very happy with the app. Super easy to use for anyone who is inexperienced as well. Glad my job has this app
Pros: Super easy and efficient to use! Clocking in and out could not be easier. I love that it calculates your total worked hours on its own after every shift
Cons: Range of clocking in and out is far from my office I have to walk somewhere else to do so. Range should be bigger
