A lot of testing for implementing custom, repetitive work flows that needed to support one-off variations and parallel tasks. Really liked the all activities and communications were in one place/thread.
Pros: Customizable workflows and routing rules. We have long projects with repetitive tasks that were easily structured in Pneumatic.
Cons: At the time, parallel workflows were needed and Pneumatic wasn’t there yet. I would like to see how they have addressed these needs in recent upgrades.

The Pneumatic is the most important thing in plant to operate fast and smoothly and it's gives me to think how to operate it.
Pros: Cylinders and solenoid valve because it's gives me to think how to create a diagram using the given problems.
Cons: Air Compressibility – Since air is compressible, pneumatic systems are less precise than hydraulics or electrics. It can cause jerky or inconsistent motion. Noise – Compressors and air exhausts are usually noisy. Air Leakage – Even small leaks can reduce efficiency, increase operating costs, and require constant maintenance. Energy Inefficiency – Compressing air uses a lot of energy compared to the actual work output. Limited Force – Pneumatics are great for light to medium loads, but not suitable for very heavy-duty applications (hydraulics are better there). Maintenance Needs – Moisture, dust, and oil in compressed air can damage components, so filters and lubrication are necessary.

Invaluable for certain processes and workflows. I can see how this would speed up any person's day without compromising quality. The connection to various services was also a plus.
Pros: Intuitive management of work flows was a definite. This kept me on track and productive, instead of doubling back to double check things. My process was drafted in minutes.
Cons: It didn't fit my business model well. We generally test things for our clients and they seemed receptive, but didn't want to follow through with purchase at the time.

Pros: Easy to use, great flow through. Makes managing things simple and easy, the team loves working in it as the interface is simple to look at as well.
Cons: Cost is just a little high especially for small businesses. Would love to have more options as the price between plans is a huge difference.

Good but complicated at times. It also happens that the app won't run, and I have to log off and in while working.
Pros: Customer support is responsive and helpful. I find very useful having the possibility to make reactions to posts and to tag users.
Cons: Text often messes up when adding tags (e.g. bold text and broken links). Not being able to quickly filter/switch on-off 'My Tasks' Not being able to see the complete task flow, to know what's next without marking 'complete'.

Pros: Very customizable and cost efficient. The interface is fairly intuitive. Not a bad deal for $99 per month.
Cons: Poor support, with very little to no response for issues. Too linear. Didn't work out for our company primarily due to this.

Pros: Ease of use, and the interface design. Very useful for following up on workflows and the dashboard view guides you to what's happening and pending.
Cons: The price-point for small businesses can be steep. Specially coming from countries like Mexico. It's better for bigger companies that want to implement workflows in a simpler way

Overall, my experience with Pneumatic has been very positive. It’s one of those tools where you immediately see the potential after setting up just a couple of workflows. It saves me time, reduces mistakes, and gives me confidence that important steps aren’t being forgotten. I really like the direction Pneumatic is going — automation and AI are becoming huge, and this platform feels ahead of the curve. My only hesitation is the price, which I hope becomes more competitive as the AI/automation market matures and stabilizes. But in terms of functionality and value for what it delivers, it’s been a solid investment that has genuinely helped streamline my business operations.
Pros: Pneumatic has been incredible for automating routine tasks in my businesses. Instead of me or my team manually checking things off and chasing reminders, workflows now run on autopilot. It makes managing multi-step projects way easier because tasks get assigned automatically and deadlines are clear. I also like how flexible it is — you can create templates once and reuse them for similar jobs, which saves a ton of time. The interface is clean, and even people who aren’t tech-savvy on my team were able to get the hang of it pretty quickly.
Cons: The biggest drawback for me is the cost. While I see the value in the features, the price point can feel high, especially for smaller businesses or teams just starting out with automation. It’s one of those tools that feels almost essential once you use it, but you definitely have to budget for it. I also think there’s room for improvement in offering tiered pricing options that better fit different business sizes.

I’m not interested in getting any future business to an organization that doesn’t respond to queries.
Pros: The software did what it said it was going to do. It was good for organizing workflows and tasks for my job.
Cons: Customer service. I tried to contact someone about a billing issue months back, and got absolutely no response. I tried emails, phone calls, messages via linked in, even tried to schedule a meeting with the [sensitive content hidden].

Once you get the usecase for Pneumatic and find a your niche to apply it it is a great timesaver and makes workflow management much clearer then other apps.
Pros: The clean interface was what got me in the beginning. Open sourcing the project does the deal for me now.
Cons: Complexity at first and the many layers which the app has which makes it difficult to get what it is intended for.

Good. As in it can be improved in the near future.
Pros: The organization of the workflow. I am able to see my work at single place.
Cons: Sometimes it is hard to recognize which task i am currently on.

Helped with productivity and with communication with my team.
Pros: The ability to create a seamless workflow.
Cons: Getting accustomed to using. Not using this type of workflow process before it took a little time.
Craig S. · Facilities Manager · Machinery · November 6, 2024
Pros: Pneumatic's platform is super easy to use and customize! It keeps workflows and tasks organized and makes processes by assigned user trackable.
Cons: Automations were recently created so we have not had the opportunity to explore the capabilities yet to create a process that can be assigned to an outside/external individual.

Love Pneumatic! The development has been very speedy, improvements roll out all the time, and the very few issues we've run into have been addressed quickly.
Pros: Super easy to use, fast response from support team (and even the [sensitive content hidden] always seems interested in feedback and making it work for our specific needs!), and extremely reasonably priced.
Cons: I wish there was more integrations offered. For example, our specific use case relates to Shopify orders. Although there is some functionality through Zapier, I'd like to see even more native integrations to help facilitate more automation. When a task is completed in Pneumatic, I'd love the ability to trigger an automated email or text message. From what I can tell, it is possible through Zapier, but it's not as easy as I'd like.

Every task is automatic with pneumatic, you simply run and carry over to your team.
Pros: Pneumatic being perfect with workflow management, it is just cleanly.
Cons: Teaching co-workers is just taking much time, got a learning curve.
Ali Kemal O. · Manager · Retail · February 21, 2023
Pros: Pros: ease of use, set up was easy and so was sign up. I like that you can easily create workflows and share them for your team to follow to increase productivity and effectiveness. The UI is also great!
Cons: That it is ONLY a workflow tool. It would be great if it had more features and was an all in one.

Highly recommended, it has delivered significant value to our business
Pros: Easy to set up and intuitive for our users. Changing and improving process is really quick and simple
Cons: There's a few features we'd still like to see but the development team are continually releasing new features so we expect these gaps to be filled in the short term.
Matt W. · CEO · Hospital & Health Care · September 29, 2021
At the beginning, and while things were working, we loved Pneumatic, it was only when we encountered several errors that we were disappointed.
Pros: When everything is working properly, Pneumatic is an excellent way to manage workflows within an organization. Things are efficient and tracking makes reporting capabilities easy.
Cons: Our team encountered several bugs which ultimately drove us off the platform and on to something less capable.
Jake D. · Content Manager · Computer Software · September 29, 2021
Pros: It’s arguably the best place to discover products to improve your processes at any company. Easy interface and great way to compare. Meeting the industry standard is necessary so this is great!
Cons: The data for reviewers should be visible - user profiles would assist with that.
deanna y. · marketing associate · Legal Services · September 23, 2021
Pros: I liked how easy it was to use but would have liked more options
Cons: I didn't like that they didn't have an education pricing
Sarah P. · Orientation & Admissions Specialist · Education Management · November 13, 2020
Basically, it's like Zapier, but for people. It helps to simplify most of the simple operations and processes your company currently has. We used provided templates to improve our customer onboarding, employee onboarding, and expense approvals.
Pros: My team was able to pick up this tool quickly. It comes with a library of helpful workflow templates.
Cons: Lack of phone support. API documentation can be improved. Not easy to find a if someone commented on your process. Desktop client can be helpful.
Donnie H. · Assistant Director · Education Management · November 12, 2020
Pros: What I liked most was how easy it was to set up the workflow that our team agreed upon before the the platform was available.
Cons: Onboarding was a bit overwhelming with users having different experiences based on viewport (somethings were hidden on smaller screens)
Tony W. · admin · Religious Institutions · November 9, 2020
Probably the right solution for simple projects that run in a linear fashion, but might frustrate people who are looking for a more monolithic solution or one tightly integrated with SharePoint.
Pros: It's relatively easy to build out form-based workflows. These can be tied in with Zapier for more complex scenarios.
Cons: I found it a bit confusing at first. I had been searching for a Nintex replacement for SharePoint when I stumbled on Pneumatic through a web search. My mind was oriented toward how Nintex works with SharePoint lists and such. What I found was more of a standalone, form-based solution. It's quite simple, but it also doesn't have the functionality of Nintex or even a stand-alone system like Joget with its visual workflow builder.
Edward L. · LMS Consultant · E-Learning · November 9, 2020
Easy to start, flawlessly use, like to adopt.
Pros: There are many manual routine push buttons for our workflow now feels flawless with Pneumatic. As before we needs to explain and learn new stuff for a weeks, now we just show the Pneumatic tips and it’s enough to start regular and special job steps.
Cons: May be color themes are strange for beginners, but it’s just one cons I can find ))
