I started less than 30 minutes and i already had an overview over my environment and found devices where i didn`t know that i miss them. support is fast and helpful
Pros: Fast setup, compared of the systems open and closed source, onprem and SaaS that i tested, this was the most comprehensive system and the only one where Intune sync works out of the box and the only system where i can grab infos from Dell.
Cons: That there is so much space for future features and i can`t help make this happen. this system is is made for something big. and that i found it by accident via AI and not via a search in google.

I would have given it four stars if they had the ability to provide some type of phone support. Some of the documentation is not nearly as technical as we would like it to be. Overall the platform is easy to use, intuitive and serves its purpose well. Given that you can't talk to a live person, I've had to use chat often. Once you hook up with someone in chat, they are pretty responsive.
Pros: The platform is easy to set up and use. While there isn't an option to speak with someone live, once I got into their messaging queue, I did receive prompt replies.
Cons: The hike in price from their "Business" to "Enterprise" plans is steep. At the corp level, when we onboard a new employee or have a hardware refresh, the biggest roadblock is that they do not offer a mechanism to capture the signature of the employee that is receiving the hardware and having that Technology Agreement be sent to more than one individual.

Bluetally is a great, easy to use software which has allowed us to get rid of excel sheets into one simple solution.
Pros: Ease of use and integrations with Jamf and Intune. Also educational pricing is very reasonable for the businesses plan.
Cons: Would love the ability to scan old barcodes within an mobile app for quick asset tracking when doing bulk audits.

Pros: The best parts are the user-friendly interface and customizable fields. It makes it a lot easier to keep track of our assets.
Cons: I would like the depreciation schedule to be customizable so we are able to have the value depreciate by a certain percentage from the purchased cost year over year.

Overall my experience has been positive, again I like how quickly I was able to get started. I'm hopeful that continued improvements and upgrades will be rolled out.
Pros: I like that you can get started with BlueTally very quickly. The overall product is pretty intuitive and does not need a lot of build out or setup.
Cons: It would be nice if there was some more customization. It should be possible to customize the dashboard. Also, the scrolling on the webpages is pretty annoying, you should not need to scroll so much to access the headers and the bottom page features.

Quick to set up especially with Intune - quick to be productive on the platform. Self-service would be nice on the lower tiers, but we can do without it.,
Pros: Simplicity in managing assets, licenses and setting up role-based accounts. Out-of-the-box experience is great. Pricing is reasonable.
Cons: Only Lenovo and Dell warrant integration, Asus, Acer, are not included by default. Would be nice to have integrations to these as well.

Started with a demo a couple months back, then finally got in a position to run the 14-day trial which really helped me sell the product to the rest of the team and then to upper management to get funding. Implementation is still a work in progress, but that Intune integration gives us a HUGE head start.
Pros: It's intuitive; has a great feature set for inventory, excellent integrations and flexibility. Also really like that there's no cost per asset like some platforms I evaluated
Cons: I'd like to see more video tutorials on specific functions on their YouTube channel or in a customer portal. They have a pretty good documentation base, but it's not as comprehensive as a new user might like -- plus bite size video tutorials on specific functions are easily digestable and help you accomplish what you're trying to do right now.

It has been very positive, it is a great improvement over IT Glue
Pros: The ability to do on-boarding and off-boarding
Cons: The GUI can be challenging to navigate, it could use improved customization features.

* The Trial period and technical support was excellent. Technical Support quickly provided answers through on-line method and set-up a face-to-face call to address our outstanding questions and reviewed some software functionality that we were unsure of.
Pros: * Simple to Use * Flexibility to configure, e.g., custom fields * Cost Effective * Customer Support
Cons: * Software is geared toward Information Technology assets, etc. but we learned it quickly could meet our needs

Mohammad M. · Admin · Computer Networking · March 21, 2025
Overall a great experience so far, I don't anticipate having any issues.
Pros: BlueTally is intuitive and easy to use. The SCIM integration and SSO are also very nice to have.
Cons: The licensing cost is a bit much for this product in my opinion.
Shawn E. · IT Manager · Automotive · March 17, 2025
It's been positive. I was suprised at how quickly I was able to get our assets into the system and start seeing meaningful reports.
Pros: I was able to setup employee syncing via SCIM, single sign-on, Intune, and Jamf Pro integrations in less than an hour. The options are intuitive and it's easy to setup depreciation.
Cons: I had issues uploading one particular asset spreadsheet, but support was quick to help me resolve the issue.
Brad O. · CIO · Higher Education · March 14, 2025
BlueTally was effortless to setup, and mostly automated with few exceptions. Customer support has been quick to respond and helpful.
Pros: BlueTally was very easy to setup. I was able to get all my integrations and devices uploaded in minutes. BlueTally does ITAM right without overcomplicating things.
Cons: While BlueTally is simple to use, a few features aren't as robust as I would like. Audits could be improved, and licenses don't have much value atm.

We are just getting started using BlueTally, so we will report any pros or cons later after more time goes by.
Pros: Very simple, easy to use and start up. Love the templates!
Cons: So far...nothing has turned up that we don't like.
Ron H. · Director · Construction · February 18, 2025
Pros: You can manage your asset and licenses in one place

My overall experience with BlueTally has been positive. It's user-friendly, offers detailed tracking and customizable reports, and has responsive customer support. The mobile access is convenient, though there are minor drawbacks like limited customization and a slight learning curve. Overall, it's effective for asset management.
Pros: BlueTally stands out for its user-friendly design, making asset management a breeze. It provides detailed tracking and customizable reports. Mobile access with QR codes add to its convenience, allowing you to manage assets efficiently from anywhere.
Cons: Limited customization on the locations, and adding vendor access to employees.
Jon M. · IT Manager · Health, Wellness and Fitness · January 28, 2025
I am very pleased with the user experience and ease of use. They understand how things need to be tracked/handled for a variety of inventories and have executed that capability nearly flawlessly.
Pros: Very pleased with the Kandji integration as well as SCIM support. This product has already transformed our business and we've been using it for q week now.
Cons: There have been some minor QoL nitpicks, such as needing text to wrap on labels, and converting items to another type. Have yet to find a significant hinderance for our business.
Mckay L. · IT Administrator · Program Development · January 23, 2025
Straight forward setup. Multiple options for getting existing data into the app.
Pros: The ease of getting up and running quickly.
Cons: Not sure how tracking consumables is going to work for our environment.
Jim G. · Infrastructure Manager · Computer Software · January 21, 2025
My overall experience with BlueTally has been positive. It simplifies asset management and provides clear visibility into inventory, which saves a lot of time. While there are a few areas for improvement, it’s a dependable solution for businesses looking for streamlined asset tracking.
Pros: BlueTally offers an intuitive interface and robust features for asset tracking. The platform is straightforward to set up and use, with great customization options to suit various needs. They're adding new functionality all the time.
Cons: The reporting functionality could be more advanced.
Zane M. · Network Engineer · Financial Services · December 12, 2024
Getting up and running with BlueTally has been a great experience
Pros: licensing and cost...it provides robust features for a value
Cons: I was disappointed that they do not have a iOS or Android app
Nathan B. · Systems Administrator · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 6, 2024
I've bounced between AssetPanda, Insights, SnipeIT and random others ; BlueTally i've used at my last 3 companies to deploy a solid/reliable solution within days.
Pros: Snappy and clean, but able to pile on integrations without clutter.
Cons: Perhaps some of the integrations/features are a little sparse on customization.
Andrew H. · Director of IT · Hospital & Health Care · November 6, 2024
Overall experience has been great. I was granted an extra 14 days for the free trial, which was very helpful when I made my proposal to my team. Like I said above, questions were answered in a thorough and timely manner.
Pros: The customer support was very responsive and knowledgable. The responses were quick and thorough. I like the custom features, QR Codes, off boarding report and being able to generate reminders.
Cons: I would like to see more integrations. I don't see a lot of use in the Licenses section since it's just a counter and you would have to update both the software and BlueTally.
Tessa W. · IT Specialist · Political Organization · October 11, 2024
The team have been great with all my enquiries. They are happy to help.
Pros: easy to use and suits our needs, Preschool just needs to keep a record of our toys, books and equipment and this suits our needs
Cons: nothing at the moment Everything we want is here.
Mel S. · Administration Manager · Child Day Care Services · September 25, 2024
I would give two thumbs up, this will make a difference
Pros: Generating QR code and convenient adding assets
Cons: All seems okay, everything I need and expected are in this software
Mark V. · Executive Assistant · Design · September 25, 2024
I just started using the platform. I should be able to give a detailed comment in a few months.
Pros: I particularly like the combination of managing assets and Groceries with low stock notifications. We were using 2 different softwires for these tasks and it was very cumbersome.
Cons: So far the interface. I wish I could personalise the interface and add our logo.
