Honestly, it was a great experience. Decision Focus always felt like an extension of our team more than a vendor.
Pros: The flexibility of the product and the speed of implementation and the ease of changes. The Decision Focus team is just wonderful to work with. They really do partner with you to help you implement the best solution for your business. Our users loved the DF product, in particular the look / feel and ease of use. The extensive reporting capabilities were also a favorite.
Cons: At first, we were unsure how their support hours would work for us. Decision Focus is based in Europe vs US for us. However, this very, very rarely became an issue due to the quality of the team and product.

Very good system solution which replaced many of our manual processes. Good usability and can be customised according to the business needs. Simple to use and navigate.
Pros: Interactive, customizable, user friendly, simple to use.
Cons: It would have been useful to be able to customise some of our pop up / guidance windows to include other visuals rather than just text.

Pros: The usability of the software is amazing. The configurations are quite simple to use and users can be easily trained.
Cons: There are no admin level logs that can be monitored or managed. The support is not 24/7 so when there is an outage, we need to wait for few hours for support to respond.

Overall very good experience that has helped our organization a lot. Also, excellent support from [sensitive content hidden] that has helped us build the ESAB workspace with all components.
Pros: The flexibility and ability to meet the specific demands from different stakeholders.
Cons: Some users have recurring problems with accessing DF due to addition of "onmicrosoft" to the email related to microsoft365. Difficult to export data from checklists.

Pros: Decision Focus is a strong technology platform that is both scalable and flexible. I was impressed by the speed at which we were able to implement the solution. The team at Decision Focus was fantastic to work with.
Cons: In certain areas, Decision Focus can benefit from improving its documentation as it evolves its product.

The system is easy to use and implementing change is really straight forward. The DFN team are excellent and the dev team are really supportive
Pros: The ability to build a new module and tailor the platform to our needs.
Cons: The user interface could look better .

The team at Decision Focus have been beyond helpful, helping us to configure the system for a module which leverages parts of the modules which they have already designed.
Pros: The flexibility of the system allowing for different configurations whilst maintaining its ease of use, reporting and aesthetics.
Cons: Nothing, the system is easy to use, flexible and the reporting & analytics is great.
Ali R. · Innovation Development Lead · Financial Services · February 23, 2024
Pros: Is a user friendly product with many people just able to et on and start using it.
Cons: Some of the additional modules seem overly complicated and the integration between modules seems to be difficult at times.
Daniel B. · Manager · Insurance · February 20, 2024
Pros: Ease of use and the ease of implementing changes. DF colleagues are very responsive and easy to work with.
Cons: Sometimes can run slowly, however seems to have improved recently.

Fantastic. We feel valued as a client of Decision Focus, not just a number - which was the feeling we had speaking with other providers.
Pros: That Decision Focus did not try to force us to adapt their workflow/process/system. We reviewed other products that are more mature, but where we would have had to adapted our process to theirs. Decision Focus listened to what we wanted and made us feel valued as a prospective customer. We were also convinced by the licencing model which allows access to all modules. To get the same functionality with other providers would have have been several times the cost of the Decision Focus implementation, both at set up and on an ongoing basis.
Cons: There needs to be an acceptance that when you develop your own module with customised functionality it will take time and there may be some hiccups along the way. Proper planning and testing can mitigate this though.

really positive DFN are one of the best suppliers we have worked with. Even where we have challenges they are discussed in an professional manner with acceptable resolutions given Really enjoy working with you!!
Pros: the ability to implement new features the speed of delivery Nearly everything is possible Good challenges/discussions with our consultants Consultants/management are always happy and great to work with Can tell employees are happy working within the company
Cons: As DFN have grown the infrastructure support hasn't grown as quickly. Release management process could improve. Sometimes appears rushed behind the scenes

It can be a clunky experience and confusing to update and change functionalities.
Pros: Lots of different ways to view data. Reports can be exported to Excel to allow manipulation of data.
Cons: Too much data and it is slow. When errors occur responses from the chat function are intermittent.
Matthew N. · Innovation Analyst · Oil & Energy · February 14, 2024
Pros: Ease of use, speed of deployment, agility, responsiveness of development team
Cons: Reporting out of the tool is quite limited in terms of design
Gary S. · Head of ERM · Financial Services · February 14, 2024
We feel well supported and understood by the team at Decision Focus. They listen to our needs and have tried very hard to meet them as much as possible. The development team are knowledgeable and keen to deliver the best solution they can. The relationship management support has also been highly effective in building our relationship.
Pros: As a company, we were very impressed with Decision Focus' approach to our unique use cases. They were very helpful in listening to our needs and suggesting solutions which would meet both our needs and those of our clients.
Cons: Very little. At a push, I would say the responses between initial communication and the point of our first demo was very occasionally slight slow. Since this time, the communication has been perfect.

I have been a client with DF for many years with different organisations and their client centric approach is first class. This latest implementation has been a joy, especially on the risk side. If there were to be one enhancement, it would be to provide a little more of a firm hand on the rudder instead of letting the client control too much. When resource with minimal systems experience on the client side are playing a key role, they can lack direction which hopefully DF have experience of. Be firmer at times. With no starting position, spec or prototype in many cases you can disappear into the dreams of the client too easily !
Pros: Easy to set up if you stick to the key requirements, do go mad from the outset!!! Very easy to use and configure to your needs. Training up internal resource to provide initial support as well as low level development is a great way of keeping development costs down. Lots and lots of functionality, more than you can ever need.
Cons: Lack of visibility on support spend and detail on the invoicing. Because it can do ANYTHING you have to be careful you don't get carried away with trying to develop EVERYTHING. Requires significant discipline on the clients behalf. During this period of implementation of 2-4 modules we have experienced a high turnover of contacts and resource in DF with little comms from DF. Hoping for more stability going forward.
Glenn M. · Head of Risk, International · Financial Services · February 12, 2024
Pros: - Usability - Risk and Control Module - Interface
Cons: Have not experienced any negative side so far. However, the user management for having multiple roles in multiple workspace can cause confusion to internal and external users.
Kushil A. · Business System Analyst · Financial Services · February 12, 2024
Very professional and dedicated staff, who seem to enjoy working for the company.
Pros: Its no code so its ease of configurability is a plus.
Cons: Very infrequently can be buggy, but these are normally fixed very quickly.
Miken A. · Senior Risk Management · Insurance · February 9, 2024
Decision focus is a friendly company with a very strong start up feel.
Pros: The interface looks clean and covers most risk and control areas
Cons: Decision focus is a database and is not a worflow tool. it does not allow out of the box to have an approval chain for changes of records. The platform feels like microsoft power BI + access database but is not as easy to develop for end users. Unlike most other platforms, there is no user guide materials available which makes it impossible to understand how to develop more adavanced functionalities. Building a simple report or using the robot functionalities is not possible without support from DF.
raphael b. · Director of risks · Insurance · February 8, 2024
Pros: Easy to use, functional and user friendly. Able to get in contact with consultants quickly and always receive a personalised response.
Cons: Invoices could be less generic, would be useful to understand the breakdown of costs. Communication when team changes are made could be conveyed better.
Mollie K. · Risk Analyst · Insurance · February 8, 2024
Pros: Highly configurable and agile deployment.
Cons: No baseline or off the shelf product to limit build and test impact on customers using the platform to manage processes in compliance with recognised standards e.g. Internal Audit
Leon P. · Internal Audit Manager · Insurance · February 8, 2024
Pros: Usability and design of the platform struck me as the main highlight that i observed.
Cons: the delegation model seems a little difficult to understand
