I am an admin user, approving time, monitoring paid leave balances, and the manager dashboard. The platform is also what is utilized for annual benefit enrollement and delegation.
Pros: The platform has an simplified and easy to navigate user interface, with a strong dashboard and readily available information access.
Cons: Some of the user interface infrastructure is a bit dated and when using browsers other than Google Chrome, can make it difficult to access certain features of the standard user experience.

Pros: I love the ease of use and flexibility of JDE, it allows any company to customise the software to their requirements.
Cons: The HR modules could be updated to fit in to the requirements and demands of 2025

Pros: Highly integrated. allowed you to manage inventory. reports worked well
Cons: not user friendly at first. Initial implementation was challenging but once staff was trained it worked well

Pros: The wide function across the management/department.
Cons: The application is heavy to load. Sometimes crash and need the HQ to solve the issue. No correction tools, we have to raise a new number/order to replace the previously wrong command.

Overall, the product is a solid best-of-breed system that covers the majority of enterprise needs.
Pros: The versatility of the EnterpriseOne lends itself to scalability, cross-platform, and unified enterprise functions (modules).
Cons: The middleware nature of EnterpriseOne creates a layer that sometimes causes performance issues and software maintenance.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne has provided us with very efficient accounting solutions from payroll management to invoicing.

Overall JDE is a very useful tool but some learning curves at the beginning is almost predictable.
Pros: Ease of use and capabilities. I like that you can favorite frequently visited tabs in JDE
Cons: It is hard to learn how to navigate and where to find information sometimes.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne has been a critical tool for running our business. We use it for production planning, sales orders, invoicing, accounting, and more.
Pros: JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is very feature rich and scalable.
Cons: Out of the box, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne wasn't ideal for our use case. Customizations were expensive and complex.
Erin H. · VP · Medical Devices · September 12, 2024
Learning to use JD Edwards EnterpriseOne effectively can be time-consuming and challenging however it is a powerful and comprehensive ERP solution that can provide significant benefits to organizations of all sizes. However, the decision to use JD Edwards EnterpriseOne should be based on careful consideration of factors like cost, complexity, and specific requirements. It's essential to weigh the benefits against the potential drawbacks to determine if JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is the right choice for your organization.
Pros: Provides a broad range of modules to cover various business needs, making it a one-stop solution for many organizations, integrates seamlessly with other Oracle products like Oracle Database and Oracle BPM, offering a cohesive solution for Oracle-centric environments.
Cons: Reliance on Oracle can lead to vendor lock-in, potentially limiting flexibility and increasing costs, as well as can be complex to implement and manage, requiring specialized skills and expertise.

A poor system by modern standards of interactive assistance based software. Too structural and does not assist the user.
Pros: Not too cumbersome to use when you know the system it is acceptable as a process but not user friendly.
Cons: Old and clunky with a poor user assistance not interactive procedural. Does not help when finding records. requires numbers and codes not simple to find information.
Leo F. · Senior Project Manager · Building Materials · July 8, 2023
Pros: I like that the system checks itself for errors. Keeping track of purchase order numbers is a great aspect as well!
Cons: The interface is very confusing! A ton of data input to get to your result!

It's a must have when you need to orchestrate many systems and platforms like e-commerce, MRP, and other softwares which impact on inventory and invoicing.Definitely a must have.
Pros: The possibility to integrate it with all our platform and softwares and the fact that it can manage inventory, invoicing and all other critical process of the company.
Cons: It requires a lot of training to business users and it requires the costant support of system integrator in order to deploy it according to the company needs.

Overall, EnterpriseOne does what it sets out to be, a capable and reliable, ERP system. Beyond that, it does not probably hold a candle to more expensive and robust ERP systems.
Pros: It's rather simple to pick up and learn, comes with a lower cost entry to pricing point, handles our massive manufacturing opps well enough. It's clips along at a solid pace, so less time waiting results to query.
Cons: E1 is difficult to automate. Our robotics team requires endless loops, checks, and tests to ensure the automation software is working appropriately with E1. Additionally, E1 didn't have the capability to handle retail operations when we entered that market recently. Finally, the base "vanilla" E1 package lacks some features that might be considered standard elsewhere; such as good reporting functions.
Mark M. · Global RPA & Automations Manager · Consumer Goods · January 5, 2023
Pros: Ease of useSupport help when needed Several support forums when needed
Cons: At times, reports takes longer than desired
Angie P. · Controller · Railroad Manufacture · December 30, 2022
It's a powerful tool, but we still rely on our in-house developers to craft applications within E1 to perform the tasks that we want. My understanding is that it is highly configurable but that requires trained individuals.
Pros: E1 is in all aspects of our business. We create bills of material and routings for our products. It is our time clock. It manages our inventory. It is tied to our sales, billing, and procurement. We need it to function.
Cons: I wish querying the database was a little more straightforward.
Paul S. · Chief Engineer · Machinery · December 9, 2022
We use it for manufacturing. We have a lot of modifications. I an creating a new system for the users right now - a commercial invoicing system with history, edit and reprint capability.
Pros: Using it since 1993, It is like home. I can make it do anything. Oracle does a good job with support and creating new features and technologies.
Cons: I wish more places use it. Oracle needs to market it better.
Don P. · JDE Senior Dev/CNC · Automotive · November 18, 2022
