I’ve been in the event industry for over 23 years and have worked with USI/Momentus for more than 18 of those. I’ve had been very fortunate to have the opportunity to be part of several iconic venues in Sydney where USI/Momentus has played a key role in delivering thousands of successful events.
Pros: Momentus Enterprise is a highly flexible platform, and we have successfully leveraged its capabilities. When utilised effectively, it can serve as a powerful and versatile tool, truly a jack of all trades.
Cons: It's not the easiest software application to learn. Some users might get put off because how many moving parts there are to configure.

Great experience within the entire platform, easy to find information, easy customization and great customer support
Pros: One stop only for all business needs, great customer support, built up capabilities of creating your own titles within the platform
Cons: Not very user friendly but with practice is becomes easier to access needed information especially for users that don't have accounting background.

I believe it is a great value for what it is worth. Especially when it comes to booking questions and customer support, Momentus is the go to.
Pros: I like how useful it is. It provides a lot of information for future and current events when customer’s call with inquiries.
Cons: How you have to scroll down to the page in order to get to the day of the month. If only there was a function that you can toggle on and off that when toggled on the website scrolls automatically to the “day” of the month. For instance, if today is the 16th the website would scroll down to the 16th day of the month after logging in.

Overall, Momentus has become an essential part of our operations. It’s our primary software for event and venue management—a true one-stop shop that brings everything together in a single platform. We’ve successfully tailored the system to fit our workflows and organisational needs. Momentus empowers us to make informed, strategic decisions based on reliable data. For us, it’s more than just software—it’s our single source of truth. The customer support has been excellent. We have regular catch-ups with our Customer Success Manager, our Account Manager is always available when needed, and leaders from the executive team are genuinely open to hearing directly from their customers.
Pros: Momentus is our go-to platform for event and venue management. It’s a true one-stop shop—covering event planning, CRM, payments, reporting, and so much more. For us, it’s our single source of truth. From planning events and maintaining venues to making strategic decisions, we rely on the powerful analytics Momentus provides. Quality information in = quality data out!
Cons: A major benefit—and occasional challenge—of Momentus Technologies is its incredible flexibility and customizability. With the right strategy and governance in place, this adaptability becomes a powerful asset, allowing teams to tailor the platform to their exact needs.

Overall I think Momentus provides a great product that helps Event management run efficiently between departments.
Pros: Clean, sleek look, and easy to maneuver format. Customer Support is quick to resolve issues. I think it's a great tool for what it does.
Cons: I really do not enjoy the most recent UI changes. It has expanded most of the features I use making them multiple pages (I.e. activities) or putting it in a place that is more hidden when before it was in your face. I find it less user friendly. Honestly although the new UI is aesthetically pleasing, it really didn't improve anything.

Overall my experience with Momentus was average. The platform provides good generic event management needs, but the navigation is a bit tricky. The system feels outdated and could use a huge "face-lift".
Pros: I like that Momentus allows the option to upload documents, archiving any important information needed to be seen across teams. It was a great tool for successful event management.
Cons: Momentus user interface is a bit weak. It often posed confusing user needs and was overly complicated in areas.

Used to be great when the cons weren't an issue. Still works well for booking but I think the other items need to be addressed before I can give it higher than a 3 star rating.
Pros: It's intuitive, very user friendly, overall, it's a solid platform for booking and tracking events. If it wasn't for the cons (see below), it would be a 5 star platform.

It has been a learning curve, but I really like it now that we are used to it, and it is very user friendly.
Pros: The ability to combine event functions and work orders and sales Ect. Momentus really streamlines the whole process.
Cons: I wish the Calander of bookings showed info up front like move in days and spaces, and possibly who's event it is.

Good program to work with, easy to understand and use. Has space for all we need to have to put our shows together
Pros: For me, I just look up the shows we have to find out the information we need to know for ticket sales. I find the program easy to work with. I love the availability of the calendar and then how we can write in all the info we need for the show and follow up afterwards.
Cons: Really do not have any issues. I personally would change some of the info to the order in which I use it instead of so many tabs, but its easy.

There's the technology side and then the business management side and there's been challenges on both fronts, especially with my company. Pricing for the software has always been difficult to nail down. Beside the total dollar amount, it's always been a bit convoluted as to how you get to the final price. I say run that proposal/invoice through your Marketing Department to see what they think about it!
Pros: Am I commenting on the company or a specific piece of software? Maybe I'll touch on both. I'm a fan of the software they make! I can tell that new ownership and leadership is thinking more strategically and long term. Some recent changes have been challenging; however, I like the direction they're going and it's obvious you're investing in the future. I like how customizable Momentus Enterprise is. We've taken advantage of that more than most venues I think. We worked hard to push all financial information though the system which helps us from an event management and event analysis side of things. I the ESC product a lot. Such a big improvement over the old SOP. Lastly, I really like my customer support rep! She helps us a lot and she's always very responsive.

Pros: The connivence of the Software and how you can manage so many things within your company needs, its a all in one on this software.
Cons: Can not use a back button to go to previous page as before the update. When you use the back it takes you back to the beginning of your set home page.

I have been using it for 10 years and have switched to the new version 2 weeks ago. As a sales manager, I use it to reserve dates on our convention center calendar and track the entire sales process as well as all pertinent details. I also use it as a CRM.
Pros: It provides a trustworthy application that gathers and stores all information needed by the several different departments in our organization.
Cons: Because of its customizability, it lacks help resources for our company's usage. I wish the set up included creating a help feature customized to our usage.

Onboarding was intense training, but it was worthwhile. Their customer success team is genuinely caring and able to attend to issues or concerns that come up, as well as able to offer and showcase other ways of using the software and its modules to fill needs as we present them. That is probably the most beneficial aspect aside from App Admin training, as having subject matter experts not only available but actively in touch to ensure that we get the most out of our Momentus experience is indispensable.
Pros: Momentus is a powerful tool for our organization that allowed us to streamline event management in the ways we were hoping for when we first looked to it as a solution for sunsetting a different software due to its age. Momentus offered not only replacements for the tasks that we already conducted via our event management software but also new and innovative workflows that allowed us to better align our business to the analytics that their reporting made easy to understand. The customer support during onboarding and since then has been excellent, with knowledgable staff as well as updates that created meaningful benefits to our users, alongside plenty of advance notice and ability to prepare for those updates.
Cons: We like to call Momentus a beast, not because it is difficult or particularly hard to work with but because it is complex and requires training beyond what we had internally required before. We've learned with time to better align our expectations so that when we onboard new staff, they understand what we learned with hours and hours of use. That Momentus becomes easier and more intuitive the more familiar you are with your role and it's ability to help you do that role. It is a behemoth with incredible amounts of information and abilities, which we have created over years of customization and data collection. This software requires effort because that's how you get the best results specific to your needs from that vast array of things it can do.

Its been a benefit to my workflow. Having an event platform that can easily book and track data is really helpful for organization and providing insight our clients need in terms of data.
Pros: The customized features to our accounts has made the platform much easier to use as well as the guidance from Momentus whenever bugs are encountered.
Cons: Having to switch to the new UI after years of alignment and making training materials was unfortunate. There are still some bugs in the system that have made it difficult to use.

It's been pretty pleasant. I wish I would have known more about what my organization wanted when we did the group implementation. It's been hit or miss on the time it takes support to get back to me.
Pros: I love the calendar, all the customizable features from the colors to what information you want to present and the view. I love the integration features as well - being able to have the inquiry form appear in the system is life changing and time saving.
Cons: I wish it had a feature to schedule staffing within it so we didn't have to use another website for that.

’s much more user-friendly than our previous software, making daily tasks easier to manage. I especially appreciate the inclusion of Jewish holidays in the pre-loaded calendar — a thoughtful and helpful touch. Overall, it’s made our operations smoother and more inclusive.
Pros: Switching to Momentus Technologies has been a fantastic upgrade for our theatre operations. Compared to the software we previously used, Momentus is significantly more user-friendly. The interface is intuitive, making it easy to navigate and train new staff quickly. Tasks that used to feel cumbersome are now streamlined and efficient. One feature I especially appreciate is the inclusion of pre-loaded holidays — and even more so, the fact that Jewish holidays are thoughtfully included. This attention to detail reflects a level of inclusivity and awareness that makes scheduling and planning much easier for our team. Overall, Momentus Technologies has made a noticeable difference in our workflow, and I highly recommend it to any organization looking for reliable, user-centric event management software.
Cons: Integrating Momentus with other legacy systems or third-party tools might require extra effort or technical support.

OK, you get used to the speed of the software. The changes may make it look pretty, but the functionality is still an issue.
Pros: I can't think of anything. I guess one gets used to it and the software. I don’t have much to say about it.

Have been using it for 10+ years and 20+ by the unit. There is so much more the system could do, that we don't even access.
Pros: Event Management - use of Activities as an internal communication tool. Ability to track and detail and actions.
Cons: Did not like the upgrade and timing. Noting over time have gotten used to the changes. Still would prefer some changes be made (option to have scripting show below vs. to the side) We don't care for the email function, so still do double entry.

From the start I have fully committed to using Momentus with best recommended practices. This has made my life immeasurably easier. The system helps coordinate catering, security, venue set up and services, and external providers such as AV, exhibition builds, and more in an effective and streamlined manner. The flexibility and customisation allows us to manage conferences, gala dinners, reunions, graduations, concerts, and many more types of events. There are aspects I have yet to explore that will assist with event attendee management, but I'm hopeful that these will be as effective as the other areas of the software.
Pros: Momentus is a great platform which allows "one single source of truth" for all of our events across multiple venues. The software is easily customisable to suit the needs of different staff and departments, and the reporting functionality is extremely valuable.
Cons: There are aspects of Momentus that can be confusing (especially to those who are less enthusiastic users of the software). There is also a lack of support in some areas. Add ons are built and then development ceases. There are also enhancements that should be standard and inclusive that require additional payments...

Overall, Momentus Technologies offers a reliable and effective solution for project management. While there are minor bugs, the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. I would recommend it to small and medium-sized businesses.
Pros: The software interface is user-friendly and intuitive. It helped me organize my tasks efficiently and improved team communication.
Cons: Sometimes the mobile app crashes unexpectedly during important meetings, which interrupts workflow and causes delays. Additionally, the customer support response time can be slower than expected, especially during peak hours.

I would say there are limitations in customisation. It needs improvements regarding that and also upgrades.
Pros: I liked how I was able to customise reports and tailor the platform according to my needs. Its flexibility makes it easier to create memorable memories.
Cons: User customisation is a problem because I found it difficult to customise certain parts of the system. Some areas do not connect seamlessly .

I believe this is a great software to use for event planning. It is easy, but there are several technical issues that should be addressed and situated in order to make things easier.
Pros: Momentus Technology allows data insights, event management improvements, and customer service that is hands on and very helpful.
Cons: There are several issues pertaining to technology which prevents users from getting the most out of the software. Problems exhibited are disconnections, adjustments to headbands must be fixed, and I sometimes find myself using too many spreadsheets.

Overall, I find Momentus easy enough to use, I do not personally use it on a daily basis, but do need information to process my events on at least a bi-weekly basis.
Pros: Momentus is nice to see all of our events in one place, I can look at the calendar and view all of our upcoming performances, as well as pull up a select account to view contract information, which helps me to complete my job tasks.
Cons: I don't love the home scree interface. Especially since the update. It is too cluttered.
