We have used GoTab the past few years and it’s worked very well overall! It was very easy to make the software work for our complex space and service model.
Pros: I really like the manager app and ease of use from my personal devices. Customer support has also been great and the team is very responsive.
Cons: There’s a couple reporting things I would like some improvements on but that is more specific to our needs and revenue streams.

We have been working with GoTab for over 2 years. Just like any POS system it has its kinks but overall I've been very happy with it's functionality. The QR Ordering system is the best on the market currently, especially for a 28,000sqft building like ours.
Pros: The customer support is one of the best I have experienced in my 25 years in the business. The Manager portal is easy and intuitive as well.
Cons: Their cash handling procedures can be cumbersome and confusing depending on what type of business you are running. Fortunately 99% of our transactions are credit card or tap to pay.

GoTab is a great POS system that has worked well with our food hall to ensure a efficient guest experience
Pros: The support teams are very helpful and timely. Menu Management and reporting are easy to obtain and read. Overall, a great system to use for a multi operator food hall.
Cons: The printer connections require and onboarding specialist to connect them all. This becomes an issue if they are not available during a busy shift. Just requires some planning. The layout of the ordering platform for 20+ restaurants in one place is a little challenging.

Pros: Customer Service has been better than any other system we use. The real time change in pricing or wording with menus is one of the best things.
Cons: If I was to be picky, I would say the initial learning is tough because it is so in depth, but it doesn't take long to figure it out. Once you do the system allows you to do so many custom things.

We have established a strong partnership thus far. The GoTab team is easy to work with and clearly committed to building a great product for operators.
Pros: While I have not yet been a direct user of GoTab, all demos and feature reviews we have conducted have yielded great results. They have a strong solution on their hands. What stands out most is how seamless the experience is for operators, particularly in the back of house. The ability to mark items out of stock directly from the kitchen or communicate with customers in real time is a true game changer.
Cons: Nothing to note so far, as we have not yet had direct hands-on usage. That said, based on everything we have seen, the POS appears to be feature rich, with no gaps identified at this time.

The Team seems to really care about the Hospitality Industry and supporting their customers and partners
Pros: Guest-Centric, Order-and-Pay Flexibility GoTab is known for empowering guests to order, re-order, and pay directly from their own devices. This reduces service bottlenecks and increases table turns, all while improving the guest experience. Open, API-Friendly Platform GoTab emphasizes integrations and extensibility. Many operators appreciate that it can work seamlessly with external systems, which is a strong differentiator versus closed-architecture POS systems.
Cons: The level of customization available means setup requires thoughtful planning upfront; once configured, however, day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.

It has been wonderful. Amazing for the brewery space, my team feels supported and I have all the insight I need. It works seemlessly with Tripleseat too which is huge as events are a major driver here
Pros: Amazing sales experience. Incredible support and a best in class POS. Speed and efficiency, labor savings, the self service guest tabs!
Cons: Still trying to find something! It truly has been an amazing experience. I always reccomend our neighbors to try!

I love using GoTab! When I find a location with GoTab I know it's a simple interaction and experience for me as a customer.
Pros: The speed of the product, while at Brooklyn Brewery. It communicated the directly to the staff so quick, our beer was delivered in what felt like seconds later.
Cons: The only con is I do still like a location with a print menu, it adds a charm and fun way for a brand to express themselves.

Overall, my experience with GoTab POS has been very positive. As a consultant, I appreciate technology that is practical, adaptable, and scalable, and GoTab checks all three boxes. Restaurants I’ve recommended it to have seen improved order accuracy, better guest flow, and increased comfort with digital ordering—especially in environments where speed and flexibility matter. GoTab has proven to be a reliable solution that supports both operational efficiency and a modern guest experience, which is why I continue to confidently recommend it.
Pros: What I value most about GoTab is its flexibility and guest-first design. From a consultant’s perspective, it solves real operational challenges—reducing friction at the point of order, improving speed of service, and allowing restaurants to meet guests where they are, whether that’s mobile ordering, QR codes, or counter service. I’ve successfully recommended GoTab to a variety of concepts, and it consistently performs well in high-volume, fast-casual, brewery, and hybrid service environments. The platform integrates smoothly into existing operations without forcing operators to completely rethink their concept, which is a major win.
Cons: Like any robust system, there is a learning curve during initial setup, particularly when operators want to take full advantage of its customization options. That said, this is less a flaw and more a reality of a powerful platform—once configured properly, the system runs efficiently and delivers long-term value.

Its been a great experience and I recommend them to every client. It has been everything that I would want in a POS partner.
Pros: I like GoTab's commitment to continued development of the software and hardware solutions. They engaged with us to make upgrades to our software and provide customers with an unmatched experience.
Cons: There seemed to be some growing pains with integrations. But they respond quickly and seem to really want to make problems turn into solutions.

Awesome team to work with. Responsive to any request, question and always engaged with finding ways to be flexible with customer needs
Pros: Easy to use, increasing F&B revenue while enabling service personnel to focus on the customer experience
Cons: Needs more integration with major brands but other than that a really great opportunity for the industry
Sue G. · CEO · Hospitality · December 18, 2025
Fantastic support, real operators supporting every step of the way. Incredibly useful and good product.
Pros: Fantastic for food markets. We're able to setup this up so that guests can order from multiple vendors at once on the same digital order. Excellent API to connect to and allows tools like Tenzo for reporting to connect seamlessly
Cons: No major cons, great onboarding team and support. Nothing that comes to mind on what they could have done better
Mark W. · Solutions · Restaurants · December 18, 2025
From a partnership standpoint, it has been amazing. Our customers are very happy and feel supported.
Pros: Working with the team at GoTab has been an excellent experience. Our collaboration has helped our mutual customers increase revenue and streamline operations while driving revenue. Robust reporting, ease of use, and incredible value are all features you can expect from this product.
Cons: It's a complex platform that can be customized to virtually any use case a customer needs. Training is important.
Kira W. · Account Executive · Restaurants · December 18, 2025
Working as a Partner of GoTab this year has provided me a sense of comfort and stability in knowing that whenever I run across an operator who needs a POS, that there is a solution that can be flexible depending on the operators needs. And their pricing is by far some of the easiest to explain.
Pros: GoTab POS is one of those restaurant tech providers that truly gets the space that they're serving. Ease of implementation is above industry standard, pricing is reasonable considering the flexibility operators have depending on their use case, and customer support is top notch. They're one of my faves to recommend to operators because they can mold to what your operations need and do it with creativity - rather than most of their competitors who say "this is what we have, take it or leave and oh for xyz it's extra."
Cons: The only thing I could say that I like the least about GoTab is that they rarely hire - but I wouldn't necessarily say that's a bad thing. I just want them to scale with the industry so that they don't get overwhelmed when the world catches on to their magic.
Allie H. · Founder · Information Technology and Services · December 18, 2025
Pros: The easiest to use and most flexible POS system for small breweries. Very straightforward, but flexible, and helps manage a bar and food without the expense or needless complexity of some older systems
Cons: If you're heavily leveraged toward food, there are some more robust options out there. Mostly a negative for full service restaurants who sell little alcohol
Aaron G. · CRO · Food & Beverages · December 18, 2025
GoTab is amazing to work with. Always supportive and responsive. They are a great fit for our tech stack.
Pros: We love GoTab! They are so user-friendly, the support is amazing, and the integrations they offer are awesome!
Cons: I have no cons of working with GoTab. They are supportive, consistent, and we love the relationship we have built.

Pros: The Epson printers, the graphics on the screen, not bad colors
Cons: Inexperienced GoTab team, cannot onboard new accounts, lack of knowledge on how to takeover an existing account, they are only good for new accounts not integrated with 3rd delivery platforms.
Andre A. · President · Food & Beverages · April 25, 2025
I really appreciate that this platform has evolved and continues to add value-add features. Our previous POS "went dark" and started changing more for the service, which just didn't make any sense. GoTab consistently releases new features and I look forward each time to what new options I can have to engage my customers.
Pros: Flexible platform has been able to expand and adapt to our changing needs as a business.
Cons: Transition to a new payment processor when we first onboarded was really rough, but the team has since made operational changes to correct this and we no longer have any issues. Documentation on some new features can be lacking, leaving to a feeling that there are unused elements of the capabilities (e.g. new memberships)
Mark O. · Owner · Wine and Spirits · February 6, 2025
GoTab POS has been very helpful and supportive in our switch from regular service to counter style.
Pros: GoTab is super user friendly, along with easy to both learn & teach.
Cons: Making sure the same items are the same description/photo/etc. Can be difficult with a large team.
Jordana O. · Director of Communications · Restaurants · January 27, 2025
It's been a good experience as they have set-up up our Food Hall to work the way we want, which is most important. Our model is slightly different and we have been able to work with the team to accomplish our needs.
Pros: It's ability to innovate and work within our system which is extremely difficult to set-up with 8 different vendors.
Cons: UI, w could use a little improvement to make it more customer friendly.
Sam G. · Director of Operations · Food & Beverages · January 25, 2025
Excellent service whenever we have a question. Plus very user friendly
Pros: Easy functionality and very user friendly!
Cons: Not being able to scroll the menu screen on the managers screen
Andrew H. · Brewery manager · Hospitality · January 25, 2025
We were an early adopter and our experience has been very good. They have consistently updated their features and made improvements though out the time (3+ years) we have been with them.
Pros: Ease of use, customer support, accuracy of guest entered orders, daily reports
Cons: The Cash sales "processor" is difficult to maintain. Limitation of choice of mobile credit card swipers
Julie T. · Chief Operating Officer · Restaurants · September 3, 2024
24/7 live help has been wonderful for assisting when needed
Pros: Engineers worked to ensure the system would function in our rural, no high speed internet location.
Cons: unexpected outages have happened during open hours
Anna S. · Owner · Food & Beverages · February 28, 2024
Pros: It's easy to use, easy to add products.
Cons: Slowness of cashing out and starting a tab.
Jennifer B. · President · Food & Beverages · January 10, 2024
overall the positive and support have been great. Having a dedicated rep when we signed up to have monthly/weekly meetings made the transition one of the easiest I have done (I have done 3 now).
Pros: The POS itself does everything you want it to and sometimes more. Support has been great. They have chat, Call, and email, and 99% I get a quick response, and phone support is almost always answered or a quick call back. We mainly use it for the POS and the KDS (food truck) and for that purpose it is great. I also like the east of Hardware. I was largely able to use my previous hardware (tablets) and the new CC readers they have are much more affordable. This is very useful when doing off-site events
Cons: We have had some issues with the credit card machines freezing up. A quick reset always fixes it but shouldn't happen. Support has been very receptive to helping us fix this.
