I've found the Competency Manager team to be very responsive, and with a very good level of communication.
Pros: I'm working on the roll out of Competency Manager in our organisation. I'm finding that the training time required is fairly minimal, and that people are able to pick up the software quickly and intuitively.
Cons: The permissioning system is powerful, but takes a bit of getting used to for the admins.

Pros: The software is very powerful. It is flexible and can be tailored to exactly the needs of the company. Customer service is personal and excellent.
Cons: It is easy to use, but one does have to spend some time learning all the features and customizing the software in order to fully utilize it.

The main value of the competency manager to the business is threefold. First to provide a growth path and supervisory oversight to an employees progress in his/her training. Second, to allow the correct people to be assigned to the right activity. Third, to allow management the option of trading labor resources between the 28 facilities in the enterprise with a level of confidence that the employees have the ability to perform regardless of location.

Pros: The competency manager software is extremely user friendly and is easily navigated by the user groups with a minimal of training. The UI is straightforward and the interfaces are clean and well laid out. The application speaks well to the needs of the business and the skills that are needed to be tracked.
Cons: I can think of no specific "Con" to relate within the software.

Excellent support and genuine engagement from the entire team. As a start up I didn't have a reference point. All were patient and very knowledgeable.
Pros: Ability to customize to our specific needs.
Cons: Any areas of flow that were a concern were addressed and made to function accorsing to our work flow needs

Overall the experience using the software has been great. It has allowed us to improve our learning and development program and train our employees faster, easier, and better than before. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to manage the competency of their employees, track credentials, and train online.
Pros: The software is powerful but also easy to use. It is flexible and has multiple completion methods and ways of completing the training assessments and proving competency. It includes features such as gap analysis, risk mitigation reporting, and also comes with a credentialing module so we can upload any certifications and required credentials in a centralized location. The company has a fast and responsive support team and answers any questions that I have on using the software in a timely manner.
Cons: The software takes some time to initially set up, but CABEM’s support team was very helpful and worked closely with me to get up and running!

Improved Efficiency. Increased Quality. Lowered Costs. Simplifies the employee management process. Got rid of our excel spreadsheet nightmare! So far there are very few cons. Anytime I have encountered an issue, which has been few and far between, CABEM's support team and in-house developers have been responsive, knowledgable and very helpful in determining the cause, providing a solution in a timely manner or providing training on how to properly use the software.
