Overall, my experience with Arlo Training Management Software was positive in terms of managing training operations. It was effective for handling registrations, scheduling, and reporting in one centralized system, which helped streamline day-to-day processes. However, there were some limitations on the website side, particularly with design flexibility and customization options, which made it harder to fully tailor the platform to our branding and SEO needs. Despite that, it still provided solid core functionality for training management.
Pros: What I liked most about Arlo Training Management Software was how it brought everything into one place—registrations, scheduling, and reporting—which made managing training sessions much more efficient and straightforward for our team.
Cons: What I liked least about Arlo Training Management Software was the limitations in the built-in website design. It didn’t offer much flexibility for customization, which made it difficult to fully align the look and feel with our branding and SEO requirements.

A great one stop shop for training/course management, suitable for managing in-house CPD or revenue generating short course and learner management.
Pros: Arlo is a very appealing software, particularly in the Shore Course Management Space (as a type of training) - where the training can be managed effectively from store front and sales right through to managing the learner/student experience.

Cons: The store-front and e-commerce section has limited customisability, which is a trade of for its ease of use. Effectively, your training storefront will look very similar to other users of Arlo which means there is a lack of unique appeal. This is not a big drawback though and will likely be improved in time.

Overall pretty good. A bit clunky in parts, but I have developed workarounds. Very helpful support staff!
Pros: Love that everything is all in one place and that Arlo handles multiple time zones. also that our website is always up to date with what courses are available for registrations.
Cons: Would appreciate a few more options to tailor summary views of each course (being able to see which trainer is down to take each session from the course summary page seems like a no-brainer), and options to schedule admin tasks. Non-admin staff can't really do much.

I built a website for a client who was an existing Arlo customer as they provide training courses for the trades. Usually, I stay away from projects that involve a third party app/software etc. However this was a referral from a friend and someone who I have partnered with a lot so I didn’t want to completely brush off the project. So I actually called Arlo support before accepting the project to discuss the process of getting it working on a website and from the moment I spoke to them I was very confident that the support was there and that they would guide me through the process. They did just that and after a couple of emails and Zoom calls, the software worked perfectly on the site and looks great!
Pros: From a design point of view I love seeing the different options available to display the courses. They are very easy to edit with simple code and I most love the feature that show live on a website if the house is full or almost full.
Cons: As I came at it as a web designer for my client who was using the Arlo software already, I had to get 30 day access twice so I could do what I needed and it didn’t work initially - I did then send an email and I then got access soon after on both occasions.

Overall it is positive and I like the product road map and the feedback form. Seems like updates are happening based on feedback from clients.
Pros: Has a lot of features that meet our needs for offering private and public courses. Saves a lot of administration time and keeps all the information for our courses in one location!
Cons: I like the addition of the e-learning and look forward to some of the improvements in reporting on quiz results.

Arlo has been helpful throughout the entire process. From onboarding to continual support for our administrators.
Pros: Arlo is great for scheduling and registering students! Our customers find the system very easy to use.
Cons: Wish we could register the same students in multiple training sessions from the back end for private courses.

It's good - best software we have used so far and we have been through a few different options. I like it.
Pros: Ease of use, nice layout, easy to register participants and send out certs - the certs are one of the best features.
Cons: Invoicing is too simple, it needs to be able to add units, ie 4 x $100 = $400 rather than me having to do the math

The major pro Arlo has for it is its people. The support team, development staff and especially our customer success manager have been consistently exceptional. We have needed additional support, we have had meetings to support our growth plan, changes to our offerings and custom web development work done to the checkout to support and our customer success manager consistently hit it out of the park with the support given.
Pros: Arlos system functionality reliably delivers its core promises, our students can go in, check out and receive moodle access seamlessly. The stripe integration for payment processing works well, scheduling on arlo displays it on our website now without needing manual intervention reducing workload for the scheduling team and managing our teaching staff's schedule and course minimum/maximum student numbers is much easier. All of this works brilliantly
Cons: The API restiction on the backend can cause issues at time, having more reporting/custom reports build being possible in the system would be great and improving the teaching "offering email system" to include more complex courses woudl be brilliant

All positive. Like any product, there are parts that could be improved, but overall we're happy with our decision.
Pros: Arlo is the perfect app for managing a training business. We reviewed multiple options and settled on Arlo as the best for our needs. It's proved an excellent choice, and is extremely comprehensive. The WordPress integration is a great addition, allowing us to present our courses on our website very easily.
Cons: The API is dated, but still functional. It would be nice to have autocomplete on the search function.

Arlo works well for our organisation in managing our provision of training. It is simple to use and does the basics well. It has been positive to see that Arlo are always looking to introduce new features and functionality to improve the product further!
Pros: Arlo is intuitive to use. It also provides a helpful home dashboard to allow you to take a quick pulse check of trends. I like the enhanced report functionality that has been introduced lately too.
Cons: Arlo suits our needs, however it would be helpful to have additional functionality such as formula fields on the contact. Additionally we utilise the Arlo-Salesforce connector and find that duplicate management is quite a manual process currently that requires admin work to maintain.

I've been using Arlo for 3 and a half years and I absolutely love it. I think the new update facade is slick and overall very easy to use. The support team at Arlo are also quick to attend to any issues we may have- an extremely high level of customer satisfaction.
Pros: the feasibility of the platform. extremely easy to manage recurring courses and private training courses. Great value for the level of accessibility.
Cons: Communications are sent to most customer's junk folder, which is not conducive to having an automated comms option.

Pros: Very intuitive software, easy to use. Customer support is amazing and is always able to help overall system queries as well as helping me build efficient reports. Integrates into Xero for easy payment processing.
Cons: Could improve on ability to customise especially the online course checkout page, and the new eLearning course creation

Superb, seamless, always developing and improving and adding new features. Staff support is also genuine, intelligent and specific.
Pros: Ease of use, response to questions, lots of ability to self-service changes. It is the best "off the rack" software of any kind i have ever used. I have used it for around 9 years.
Cons: It truly suits our business needs exceptionally well. There has not been any cons of significance - I literally cannot think of any.

The platform is good but to be honest the customer service/help over the last year to two years has gone down hill. Most times no replies or delayed replies or us having chase customer service.
Pros: Most parts are easy to use and can mostly find what you are looking for and easily feeds into our website.
Cons: That there is certain reporting that we can't do and have to pay extra to adapt some email templates.

Very good, we really value Arlo and have recommended it to others.
Pros: The amount of information we can present to our users, and our internal team, about workshops is terrific. Also, the integration with Moodle was a must and works really well.
Cons: Some quirks regarding the maximum number of exports of users for reports, and we'd like more flexibility and logic controls regarding the registration process (for example, if a user selects an option when registering, a certain registration path would open up for them according to internal logic).

With this platform, we can now organize our course schedule with ease. The intuitive and easy-to-use interface allows us to create and manage instructor-led, online and blended courses efficiently. Additionally, its integration with e-commerce and marketing tools has helped us boost sales and promote our courses effectively.
Pros: I like the ability to organize and sell courses efficiently. Before using this platform I was dealing with messy spreadsheets and we had to manually enter data which was very tedious and error prone.
Cons: We experienced problems with its caching mechanism. Sometimes when visiting our page for the first time, the widget on this platform would not load correctly and we would have to refresh the page or visit it again for it to display correctly. This caused confusion and we may have lost 10-20% of visitors due to this technical difficulty.

Our business grew exponentially in the first year with Arlo. It was a huge improvement from a professional standpoint (customers noticed how much more "legit" our business looked compared to competitors) and a huge improvement in terms of managing the logistics of running a training business. I love that it's designed for exactly what we do - running a training business - and therefore I don't feel like I'm fighting software to make it work for us. It works for us because it's designed for us.
Pros: Arlo has made scaling our business possible without feeling like we're "dropping the ball" anywhere. We were able to bring on new instructors, and the instructors can manage their classes directly in the Arlo app from their smartphones. This has been a game changer for us.
Cons: I do wish there was a way to make automatic purchasing of gift certificates possible, but at the moment we are working around this just fine with manually generated discount codes since it is not a high-volume area of our business.

Pros: The integration with zoom was exactly what we were looking for. We needed a quick and efficient way to create 30+ zoom invitations on a bi-weekly basis. This gave us all that we were looking for.
Cons: There are a lot of things in Arlo that aren't easily hidden to make it more user friendly on the admin side. Our use case was free courses for our internal company training and everything always had a price listed near(changed to zeros since it was free) it which can be confusing to an admin new to the system.

Pros: Arlo was able to reach out to us remotely. We had group training sessions. I could then follow up in an email with questions. I heard other departments also made queries and received good feedback.
Cons: The information in "sessions" does not carry over to the reports. ie. room number, Name of the session.The sessions do not have individual reminders. The "Event Reminders" only work at the beginning of the Event. We have people who register for only one of the sessions in an event. The reminder end up going out more than a week before instead of a couple of days before in this situation. I have to work around this by creating many events.

Pros: For staff, it's a simple training exercise to get users self sufficient at day-to-day tasks. For end users, transactions are seamless, fast and accurate. Integrations to payment processors are baked in and ready to go.
Cons: I think the auth and public api could be more inline with modern decoupled systems by providing flat, json endpoints that can easily be consumed by cms front ends, other apps
