Overall I think it's a great platform. Having worked with several LMSs, LearnUpon is one of the more simple and intuitive. The support team is great and always available to help.
Pros: LearnUpon is easy to use from the Admin POV but also from the Learner POV. It uses a friendly interface and look quite clean. Courses are easy to set up and revision if needed.
Cons: The reporting is somewhat limited. I would be good if some of the reporting options would be more customisable. The Learning journeys feature is good but still quite limited in functionality and grouping users could be also more customisable. The Catalogue is good but again more customisation on categories, etc. would be good.

Pros: LearnUpon makes it very easy to access training and ongoing development in one central place. I like being able to have courses assigned to me and always knowing exactly where to go for learning and upskilling. As someone who is consistently looking to improve and build new skills, having everything organized in one platform removes friction and makes it much easier to stay engaged with training.
Cons: At times it can be a bit challenging to quickly find the exact course I want to review. In some cases, I needed to request access to certain courses, which created a small barrier to learning. The overall experience could be more streamlined from a UI and course discovery standpoint. That said, it is not always clear whether this is a limitation of the platform itself or how my organization has configured it.

My experience with LearnUpon overall has been wonderful, minus the few cons I had mentioned. I find this software very easy to use and the AI tools it has to offer within it when creating courses or incorporating certain content are very useful. I also find myself referring back to the analytics tool a lot when it is time for my next course build.
Pros: LearnUpon is the by far my favorite onboarding tool to use when training new employees. It offers great key features, which I have not found with other software. It allows you to personalize different portals for whichever audience you are targeting. You can also utilize the platform as a management tool as it offers scheduled reminders, course evaluations, reporting tools, and certifications upon completion.
Cons: I’d say my least favorite part about LearnUpon is the mobile application for it. My coworkers and I have faced issues where there is limited mobility within the app and sometimes it can lag.

Pros: Was easy to intergrate and use with SSO and was easy to manage and assign courses to users. as a user it was straight forward and simple
Cons: Limited integrations, unsure if this was a limitation of the software or our management team but aside from SSO we had nothing integrated not that there really needed to be

Great working relationship from LearnUpon. They are geared towards delivering an excellent customer experience and have great product knowledge. We evaluated a number of different LMS products but LearnUpon really stood out as a superior product right from the beginning.
Pros: Super intuitive, friendly user interface and has a range of great features that enable training journeys to be delivered and reported on. Excellent support provided from day 1 up to the present. Their product roadmap keeps continuing to feature great new innovations as well.
Cons: A little bit more pricey than some other products we evaluated, but it has proved its worth already in delivering a much better user experience and enhanced support.

Simplified yet powerful functionality without bells-n-whistles. I have yet explored reporting features but I have confidence it is helpful for QA purposes
Pros: I am in the administrative role. I like the use of Dynamic Rules. I thorough enjoy available the Knowledge Base which proves helpful in learning and/or figuring missed steps
Cons: Batch upload requires username fields. It would be nice to opt for Email address criteria. I notice that Main portal user listing does not update its view alike it does when working in External portal user listings

We are so happy with LearnUpon and plan to stick with them for a very long time. They offer the best support in the business, and they are constantly working to make things even better. They listen to their customers and implement appropriate changes wherever they can.
Pros: LearnUpon quite literally solved all of my problems that I had with my homemade LMS. It does everything I need, and has so many extra options that I couldn't have even dreamed of having! It has truly transformed "learning" at our company! The support that LearnUpon offers is absolutely unparalleled, and a huge benefit for me using an out of the box LMS for the very first time.
Cons: I've had no issues at all, we are very happy with LearnUpon. Coming from a homemade LMS, getting the real deal is so amazing that it's hard to find anything bad to say.
Kassidy J. · Training Operations Manager · Consumer Services · July 10, 2025
The team at LearnUpon can't be beat. They are responsive, attentive, and always improving the product. When I have an issue they don't leave me hanging and when I have feedback they're receptive. We used 3 different LMS prior to moving to LU and I'm so glad we found them.
Pros: We've been able to customize our learning options and track key metrics on performance and product knowledge. I love that there are options to create content in the platform or use SCORM files. The reporting is really great too and very customizable. I set up reports for all the department heads and they get them automated to their email each week.
Cons: I would love to be able to schedule course assignments by date. For example, when we have a product launch going out next month, it would be nice to create the training, schedule the date for it to assign to specific teams, and then forget about it.

10/10! Having an Implementation Consultant's support through the migration process then monthly meetings with our Customer Success Manager after is so effective and has been incredibly helpful at helping us problem solve and make sure we're getting the most out of the system. Our users find it easy to navigate and it's made our jobs a lot easier!
Pros: LearnUpon is incredible! We migrated to LearnUpon from a different LMS and LearnUpon's support through the entire migration process was thoughtfully laid out and focused on making sure our needs would be met by the system in the most efficient way. LearnUpon is very user friendly and support request from our users has decreased dramatically compared to our previous system. It's been easy to collaborate across teams and have multiple teams at our agency create and host trainings and monitor course completion for their specific teams.
Cons: One issue we've faced, which is not necessarily specific to LearnUpon, is that the majority of our trainings have a live learning session but it's possible for users to enroll in the course and not register for a live learning date, making the user think they've successfully registered when they haven't. We've found a sufficient work around but this is something that still trips up some users.

It has been great! Our team loves using LearnUpon to publishproduct eLearning that is essential for various roles within the company.
Pros: As an administrator, one of the aspects I appreciate the most is the exceptional support I receive from LearnUpon. Their support team is not only responsive but also incredibly patient and thorough in addressing my queries. Whenever I reach out for assistance, I am met with prompt replies that demonstrate a genuine willingness to help. They take the time to explain solutions in a clear and concise manner, ensuring that I fully understand the answers provided. What truly stands out is their ability to communicate complex information without making me feel inadequate or foolish for asking questions. This supportive environment fosters my confidence and enhances my ability to effectively manage my responsibilities. Overall, the quality of support from LearnUpon significantly contributes to my positive experience as an administrator.
Cons: I think the features on the Admin Dashboard could be enhanced (easier access to catalog course links)
Kelly M. · LMS Administrator · Health, Wellness and Fitness · July 7, 2025
Overall positive. There are some frustrations with the UI and reporting, but the technical support is friendly and responsive.
Pros: The support team is so quick to respond to our department's inquiries and to address issues. I usually get a response within the work-day.
Cons: Learners need to be able to access their earned course certificates after their access expires! Currently, this isn't an option. I wish that the platform allowed for easier quick-view and filterable results of things that mattered to us. Much like "Enrollments" got an upgrade in ability to filter and bulk unenroll, I wish that feature was available for Learning Paths. Right now, it is not easy to see the relationship between groups and their assigned learning paths. I want excel-level filter functionality with all user and engagement data! When searching for courses or users, we need page navigation at the bottom instead of always having to click back or forward on result pages.

LearnUpon has became the most important asset in our business and there are many other functions/departments who have seen the benefits of our experience and want to bring the tool into their areas of work.
Pros: It has saved me so much time; by adding all of our resources in a one-stop shop location for the users, I no longer have to send multiple emails. It has also meant we can add extra content to their virtual space; providing them with more value and a better user experience. The best part about LearnUpon though has to be our account manager; they check in regularly and provide innovative ways for us to gain even more efficiencies in our services.
Cons: Some companies that we work with have super tough IT security, which means that the LearnUpon emails bounce back when the user is trying to do a password reset - which means we have to do these manually. But I would rather do that task and know that people are accessing our courses.
Amie B. · Learning Engagement Lead · Food & Beverages · July 4, 2025
Our overall experience with LearnUpon is great and the team at LearnUpon are always kind, professional and eager to help.
Pros: Setting up our clients to access training is fast and easy which is a win with the volume of clients we manage.
Cons: Finding the right content for each user can be challenging with a robust library of material and client specific needs. Not everyone needs all content, it's user specific.
Annissa C. · Vice President, Launch Operations · Financial Services · July 3, 2025
Extremely positive experience for users, admins and customers. Integrates everyday business software with the LMS for easy admin, and the new UI makes for an intuitive learner experience.
Pros: Intuitive to use from both a learner and admin perspective with great integrations with other business software for a seamless user experience.
Cons: The standard reports available can sometimes be limited, but the LU support team are always happy to help with something else if they can.
Siobhan W. · Learning and Development Coordinator · Apparel & Fashion · June 3, 2025
LearnUpon served the overall purpose of enabling our company to have an LMS. However, LearnUpon was expensive and did not provide an ROI for the cost incurred.
Pros: There was plenty of flexibility for training options as well as the ability to create diverse assessment question types.
Cons: Reporting/BI was limited and cumbersome. Additionally, the ability for managers to be notified of training non-compliance and access training records of their team members was minimal or not possible.
Nathaniel G. · Vice President of Compliance · Pharmaceuticals · April 23, 2025
Pros: Easy to use, gamification elements (points, badges, certificates). The reporting system is solid and gives us the insights we need. The support team is excellent, always quick to respond, whether it’s for an issue or just a quick question.
Cons: - The native authoring tool is very basic, you can only add text, images, videos, and links, with no interactive features. However, you can work around that by using an external authoring tool and uploading a SCORM file into LearnUpon. - Fonts and image sizes can change when you publish a course. Sometimes text looks off or images get cropped, so you’ll need to test a few times to get everything looking right. - Once a course is published, you can't make major edits like adding a new module. You’ll have to create a new version, which can get tricky if users are already enrolled or if multiple versions start piling up in the dashboard.

We had an excellent experience with the LearnUpon sales team, they showcased their product well in the pitch and invited along their [sensitive content hidden] who was very engaged and receptive in the process. The migration was smooth and we had a great experience with our client success manager and subsequent customer success manager. We are impressed with the platform and excited about the road map.
Pros: We migrated our LMS to Learnupon in 2024. We were particularly engaged with their learning journeys feature that would help us to build out learning paths for specific roles in the business.
Cons: At the moment their content creation tool is through another platform called Easygenerator and although this is linked to the LU it does mean navigating away from our internal LMS.
Rosie F. · Learning and Development Specialist · Financial Services · February 18, 2025
Great experience. I've been using LearnUpon for over 5 years.
Pros: Very easy to use, team is constantly reaching out and checking in, great reporting capabilities, meets our needs for documentation.
Cons: Sometimes I have technical difficulties with course enrollments and running reports, but their support team is easily available and responds very quickly.
Jennie P. · Assistant Director · Higher Education · February 17, 2025
Overall we are very satisfied with it's ability to deliver our training resources to our customer users.
Pros: It fits our companies needs in setting up multiple white labeled portals for onboarding and training of multiple software products.
Cons: It seems to be lagging behind some of its competitors in the implementation of learning journeys and the use of AI.
Conan J. · Manager of Customer Success · Computer Software · February 13, 2025
The LMS is growing and developing all the time, we are grateful to be a part of the journey and enjoy using the LMS as it enhances.
Pros: The support and service received is very good. We are well communicated with, and helped with any issues.
Cons: Sometimes there is functionality that doesn't feel very intuitive.
Gary T. · Learning Architect · Telecommunications · February 4, 2025
It offers a seamless platform for training management and a smooth learning experience.
Pros: I really like how LearnUpon user-friendly interface makes it easy to navigate and manage training, ensuring a smooth experience for both learners and admins.
Cons: I wish the reporting features were more customizable to provide deeper insights into learner progress.
Bala k. · Marketing Manager · Marketing and Advertising · December 27, 2024
Pros: LearnUpon has a very friendly UI! Super easy to navigate.
Cons: I do wish that there was an integrated forum of sorts for users.
Scout T. · Client Education Specialist · Professional Training & Coaching · November 26, 2024
The tool allowed us to scale our operations, is easy to use, and the support has always been helpful the handful of times that we have needed it.
Pros: LearnUpon is easy to use as a learner, as an instructor, and as an admin. Setting it up was easy enough without any sort of special help.
Cons: There is nothing of note that I don't like about LearnUpon
Jeremiah M. · Director · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 22, 2024
We are using LearnUpon to provide mini-learnings and role-based eLearnings to our global customer base. We are offering free and paid-for eLearnings.
Pros: User-friendliness, easy to implement, administer and use.
Cons: Filtering and Sorting. Categorization could be improved.
Caroline B. · Product Training Manager · Translation and Localization · November 22, 2024
For the 2 years I've worked with LearnUpon, it has always been a positive and engaging experience. Their outlook on continuous improvement is great to see and be a part of and I'm excited to see what they do next.
Pros: I like how easy the platform is to navigate and understand. The wide range of features and functionality is great to have. The continuous improvements the platform brings in and is always working on is great to see and be a part of. The customer support team are always quick to respond, very knowledgeable and happy to help with anything.
Cons: The customisable elements of some of the features are a bit restrictive but there are multiple ways of doing things in the platform. The visual user experience can be a bit limiting
