As I stated above, we have had nothing but excellent customer support and there has never been a time that an email, chat, phone call has gone unanswered. Very appreciative of our Account Manager [sensitive content hidden], who has made this process so easy and has been patient as we work through each phase at a time.
Pros: Customer service/support! We have had an excellent implementation with our system, with constant, direct contact with our Account Manager. We have been able to establish workflows that are efficient for our various teams using the system. Also, the ease of the use of the system is great and the user experience has been excellent.
Cons: Nothing! No issues with the system. We have multiple departments using the system for various reasons and it has been a very smooth implementation for everyone.

The BEST & MOST IMPORTANT thing we've had from Regroup is having [sensitive content hidden] as our rep!!!! If it weren't for him, his expertise, patience, promptness to respond, and kindness we would not have been able to keep Regroup. It isn't the easiest to navigate at times.
Pros: My favorite is the ability to select areas on the maps for notifications. I like having the ability to contact bulk customers at once about notifications.
Cons: Regroup sorts and selects customers by name and/or address and we do everything according to account number. It's not easy for us to not sort or select by other means.

At this time, I would not go with another product.
Pros: Easy to use, configure, great support staff.
Cons: I do not have any issues to complain about.
Joseph E. · Business Analyst II · Government Administration · August 2, 2024
Regoup has been an excellent tool for us. it allows us to connect with the entire campus population through one medium in a timely manner is so important when dealing with any emergency.
Pros: Connecting with the entire campus population through one medium in a timely manner. The integration from our database system that lists our users (Students, Faculty, staff) to regroup is user friendly, You can create different messaging groups so you can customize who messaging goes to.
Cons: It would be great to be able to do an update of users every night without the manual upload. Maybe that exists?

Regroup is a Great product with great support!
Pros: The ease of set up, the functions and ease of use are amazing!
Cons: We started with Regroup within the last year and have not had any major issues yet!
Mark S. · Administrator · Public Safety · July 29, 2024
Pros: The platform is straightforward, and building subscriber groups was simple
Cons: It is light on customizability and customer service is slow to respond and rarely has the answer on the first call.
Alexander F. · Operations Chief · Government Administration · July 29, 2024
My overall experience has been good. When someone asks me for a recommendation, I mentioned Regroup, however, I also state it is expensive. I believe Regroup can corner the religious community if it could lower its cost or have a Signiant discount for churches.
Pros: The fact that it will take a single message and covert it to an email, text, and landline phone messages. The reports of noting delivery are also excellent.
Cons: The cost. We are now looking for another source. At the time we choose Regroup, it was the only service that met our requirement of communication across all three platforms (email, text, landline). There are not competitors that offer the same place at a lower cost. The base their price on the number of numbers versus the number of contacts.

Excellent. It is easy to use and what we have questions about we get a timely response from our Customer Success Manager, Jeronimo Balzo, he is excellent to work with.
Pros: I like that I am able to use the "draw on map" feature to select specific areas I need to send notifications too. I like that I have three options on communication with customers, to be able to call, text and email them has proven to be very useful.
Cons: I have no complaints about the system. It works great for what we need it for and even when approached by other companies we remain with Regroup.
Gladys B. · Office Manager · Utilities · July 24, 2024
We have had an extremely positive experience with Regroup. Besides the software and hardware giving us exactly what we need, the customer service has been top notch. We frequently communicate with out representative. When there is a staffing change they proactively reach out to ensure we know who the new contact is.
Pros: The ability to highly customize contact groups makes the platform extremely versatile. The system is extremely easy to use. Messages can be sent out quickly in emergency situations from a computer, phone, or tablet. Excellent customer service ensures we always have a real person to call if there are issues or questions.
Cons: User management can sometimes be a challenge. Trying to upload large groups through CSV files takes some work to understand. Managing user profiles within groups and within the system as a whole can sometime get confusing as well.
Michael B. · Emergency Management Coordinator · Government Administration · July 19, 2024
SMS messages are delivered quickly and the interface for creating messages is intuitive.
Pros: The interface (and integration with the Active Directory to identify groups) provides intuitive options for our Communications group to easily send notifications for urgent issues.
Cons: It seems our disabled users in the Active Directory are not automatically deleted from Regroup. We consistently have many more users in Regroup than in the AD and must periodically purge users manually.
David A. · Vice President and CIO · Education Management · July 19, 2024
Regroup has been great tool to quickly and easily reach out to our customers for safety needs.
Pros: The ability to quickly reach our customers
Cons: Some settings are not intuitive making mistakes possible.
Adam L. · Asst. Dir. Campus Safety · Higher Education · July 19, 2024
Pros: Ease of use. Regroup is a reliable product.
Cons: Nothing. It works as we expect it to. And hasn't failed us.
Marc B. · Mr · Education Management · November 22, 2022
We use this product in emergency situations for office closures, bad weather, etc. It makes getting information to our 100 staff members simple and quick.
Pros: Instant notification to make calls, texts and emails easy to get critical information out to public. Customer support was/is top notch!
Cons: There is nothing not to like! Sending out messages is easy and takes only a couple minutes.
Chris P. · Director of Economic Development · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 22, 2022
Overall we'd had a great experience! We use the system for critical messaging, and have used it more than once to respond to weather events, campus risks, and other safety notifications to the community. It's easy to use, and easy to train staff to use.
Pros: The ease of use and ability to maintain multiple lists, templates, and messages to engage with our faculty, staff, and student community is excellent. The price point compared to similar services is excellent and the support beyond setup is exceptional.
Cons: The initial setup was tough, and it felt like the team was very much on their own trying to get imports set up to do the things we needed to do.
Mark V. · CIO · Higher Education · November 18, 2022
we have been pleased and the various social media sites that messages can be sent to was better than the prior system.
Pros: It's fairly easy to use and create groups for the various needs of our organization.
Cons: On the mobile app it gets difficult to scroll backwards in the text box to make additions or deletions as a message is created, I guess templates would make it easier.
Michael G. · Director-Emergency Management · Government Administration · November 18, 2022
Our Customer Success Manager - [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was great! I am an administrative assistant with the duty of helping set up version 2.0. I couldn't have done it without him. He put up with all of my calls and questions (and I had a lot of them) :) We are probably not using Regroup to it's full potential.
Pros: The ability to assign different roles to different Admins so they can manage the messages that are important to them. I really like the upgrades were made in 2.0 to make sending messages quick and effortless. Being able to have a group of groups in channels makes setting up the admin authority over multiple groups and sending messages to multiple groups. I have to admit, after working with groups, it took awhile to adjust to channels, but once you "get it" you will be happy.
Cons: We have a few unique situations; we upload a few different files with different data in each. Our IT department is working with Regroup on a solution so that multiple files can be uploaded without updating or changing data in other groups.
Barb H. · Administrative Assistant II · Higher Education · July 25, 2022
Pros: This product is super easy to use! You can use it via app on your smart devices or via computer. You can schedule messages to go out to your groups at certain times. Everyone gets added to the system during orientation and then as managers, we can make smaller groups for our departments. Need a shift covered fast? Send out a Regroup message to reach everyone in your department. You can select phone call, text, or email or any combination of the 3.
Cons: Message size is limited to 160 characters per text. If it is longer that that, the group will get a link to the post. Sometimes I need just a couple more letters!

It is great to have this Software, we love it.
Pros: Regroup has helped us with making sure that we are prepared to share information in the case of an emergency. We also use the software for weekly communication with all of our staff. Regroup has changed the way we communicate.
Cons: None at this time, I feel that this software has improved our communication.
Paul Z. · C.O.O. · Hospital & Health Care · November 22, 2021
Pros: It is easy to set up and has multiple ways to interact from an admin or user experience
Cons: For something you hope you never have to use there is still a lot to set up and manage to make sure everyone is contacted if something happens. I wish there was a way to integrate user adds into the new hire process automatically.
Craig P. · HR Director · Mental Health Care · November 22, 2021
In addition to using Regroup to alert staff when there is an incident requiring the use of safety protocols, we use Regroup as a way for our staff to alert their teams when they are going out and returning from the field. This is a very helpful, especially when staff are not returning to the office after being in the field.
Pros: Regroup is easy to access, and a quick and easy way to alert staff when an incident is happening and to use safety protocols to enter or leave the building.
Cons: The fact that new users have to create an account on the computer before being able to log into the mobile app, it would be more convenient to be able to do it all from the mobile app.
Melodie M. · Data and Content Manager · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 22, 2021
We needed a mass notification software and chose Regroup for its user friendliness and web based platform. We are happy with the product and training is a snap. No frills, just the necessities. We love the ability to record a message, and we really love the URL feature which allows the recipient to read a text message on their phone and after 160 characters , provides a custom URL. The recipient can read the message in its entirety on the web. Very easy to implement. Very friendly tech and sales staff.
Pros: The software is web-based. No more VPN!
Cons: Emails can often be rejected as spam; default voice cannot be changed or slowed down.
Alissa M. · Technology Operations Facilitator · Hospital & Health Care · June 25, 2021
Great asset.
Pros: User friendly. Templates makes for quick response.
Cons: Nothing. Question: Is voice to type available or considered?
TONY S. · Deputy Chief · Law Enforcement · May 13, 2021
Pros: Ease of use! Great Support that are available whenever needed.
Cons: Slow to make updates to features. There are a few features that we have been waiting on since signing up and they have been slow to make these updates.
Stanley D. · Manager - Remote Client Support · Information Technology and Services · May 5, 2021
We are able to mass send students information in moments time where seconds matter. We are able to make sure our students are safe and secure with this. From weather alerts to active shooter.
Pros: Regroup has an easy to use user interface. The dashboard has everything on it, even summary of reports. Admins can send notifications from any browser or the mobile app. You have the ability to send to email, text, call, and app in an instant. Just click on New post select a premade template and post. Pretty simple. There are ways to have ready to go customized templates and posts. Reports have charts right on the page to show use and how many received. Setup and installation was easy and anyone could use the software it doesn't take an IT guy to use. Support is also great.
Cons: We haven't had any issues with the system so far. It is fully capable of doing anything we need. There aren't really any downsides, the product is good.
Victor H. · Information Systems Support Specialist · Higher Education · March 23, 2021
Check if your institution needs mail merge right away. From my recollection- the mail merge (importing custom fields within a csv) did not exist when we were using it.
Pros: The ability to manually upload groups that you can pull from datasets. Prepopulating groups allows for quick emergency notification generation. The texting and opt out ability for students is pretty painless. Configuring users for admin level access easy and quick. Training is easy and quick. Support is there. The texting add on /texting carrier is pretty painless to use. There doesn't seem to be an issue using them as a texting aggregate. Best cost from others at the moment, both in text and user count.
Cons: Groups can be overwritten by anyone with admin level access. Count of members in the group reflect existing contact information/contact information doesn't always accurately reflect the manual load. Shared opt out-- if individuals belong to multiple bodies using regroup, opting out of one opts out of the entire regroup platform. Support is not very effective -- long response times. Inability to understand higher level technical questions (importing custom fields). The largest drawback is the inability to mail merge, which cripples the software for customization. There supposedly an update that was scheduled to include this feature, but we had to migrate to a different mass communication system for mail merge.
