I feel like it is a "you get what you pay for" situation. Overall it's not bad. With a little patience it is definitely an option.
Pros: I used Menufy by HungerRush. Menufy did not have a monthly charge - only a service fee per transaction that they charged the customer. The online ordering platform looked nice and payment was usually prompt.
Cons: Customer Service via email was inconsistent. Sometimes I got an immediate response with concerns addressed quickly. Other times it took days or even weeks to get a response. Online menus and menu times were often incorrect.

Tech support is amazing and helpful. Account set up was very challenging.
Pros: Simple online platform that makes it easy to run and look at reports.
Cons: Dated POS system, not the easiest to update and navigate

System is usually up and running no issues, online order system is user friendly and easily ties to the in house POS system. But the billing department is the worst. Tried to work with [sensitive content hidden] in their finance and got no where but circles with him. Had 60 day terms, then over night had 30 day terms, and turned off auto billing and then they turn it back on. And debit your account for invoices that are still within your billing cycle. Be cautious! Talk about being able to integrate door dash, but after updating, still not integrated. Your representative with the company also changes quite often, so be ready for that also.
Pros: System is easy to use, support staff is awesome. Calls are answered and they quickly fix any issues.
Cons: However billing department is the worst, change your payment terms, automatically debit your account when not authorized. Almost enough for me to say avoid, after using it for 7 years

If Hunger Rush continues to foster great relationships and customer experience like [sensitive content hidden] have provided I can see my confidence in the company increase as well.
Pros: We are thinking of upgrading our current Hunger Rush systems - [sensitive content hidden] have been very attentive and upfront. This is a breath of fresh air from previous experiences I have had.
Cons: Technical support sometimes can be lack luster - while I understand that sometimes issues can be user generated, they shouldn't go into a call thinking this is the case.

No issues. They are easy and great for a smaller operation establishment.
Pros: The easy fast friendly way customer service responds to our needs
Cons: It did not do everything we needed. Our full service establishment required a easier system
Shane D. · Food and Beverage Director · Food & Beverages · February 10, 2025
Pros: Easy to deal with great service great customer service
Cons: Easy to use and help me with the business

Pros: The system is very robust and capable. I love the online capabilities and the options..
Cons: past customer support experience, hardware and software management from the support side.
Ryan J. · owner · Restaurants · February 7, 2025
its been very up and down over the last few years but the last 6-10 months have been nothing but up and very strong positives which is why this very is so positive.
Pros: Doordash and Ubereats integration. texting the customer their order updates. [sensitive content hidden] is great, very responsive and always gives 100%. Employee of the year. Yall are doing great.
Cons: There is still a lack of menu consistency amongst multiple stores. There needs to be a "brand menu" but it still needs to have some customization to be manipulated for individual stores. EX: Food is the same at multiple stores but alcohol is different at stores. it would be nice to change one food item and it change at all stores.

I have been a customer for a very long time. My overall experience is an A- which is probably the highest rating in the business. No one is perfect but when something goes wrong they generally solve it VERY quickly and are always trying to inovate and integrate with new tech!
Pros: They have the most fully integrated options that are very dependable!
Cons: Still working on being able to integrate more.
Jeremy G. · President · Food & Beverages · October 24, 2024
We have used them for almost 10 years and in that time they have been consistent and always willing to help us out with any issues we have. They also follow through any tech issues until a resolution is found.
Pros: I like that is is all inclusive and is not like other POS companies that require you to piece it together one service at a time.
Cons: It's really hard to get ahold of the accounting department if you have any accounting issues.
Amber B. · Operations Manager · Restaurants · October 24, 2024
Pros: The delivery component is unmatched as well as ease of use of the entire system. Being able to pull time cards easily and reporting for the drivers being integrated is helpful as well.
Cons: The pricing is a bit more expensive than competitors in the market and if there were more options for third party integrations that would be great. Slice and GrubHub integrations please!
Jaclyn G. · Owner · Restaurants · October 9, 2024
Pros: System is very intuitive for building the menu and adding coupons. We use Restaurant 365 for our bookkeeping and the system integrates with it very well. Delivery dispatch setup is very intuitive as well in the way that it ties into the map and shows estimated delivery time. The 24/7 support is great also- we don't have to wait very long as support has made serious improvements.
Cons: More third party integrations- we were really excited when Uber Eats was released so the more options the better. The reporting can be glitchy sometimes forcing us to reload to remove the glitch, but its fixable. We would love to see an option to auto-dispatch deliveries versus manually selecting drivers for the deliveries.
Thomas F. · Owner · Restaurants · September 19, 2024
Pros: Ease of use for the system, reports and number of reports, inventory controls, and time clocks all integrated makes the system super intuitive. I have never seen another POS system and wished my system had that feature because our system works so well.
Cons: Self ordering Kiosks are not an option, and I would love to have the option to help line bust and mobile credit card terminals for our delivery drivers.
Alfredo D. · Owner · Restaurants · September 16, 2024
Pros: the simplicity of the entire system and how it covers every item we need from dine in to carryout to delivery.
Cons: Better tablet options that could speed up our dining room time
Rick S. · Owner · Restaurants · September 13, 2024
Pros: The support from all different areas of the company.
Cons: There are a few features we wish the system would do better such as hourly pricing. We are a pool hall, and it is a very important functionality of our operation.
Jeff L. · Owner · Entertainment · September 13, 2024
Pros: Our customer success manager,[sensitive content hidden] who always helps us with our system troubles. These two always go out of their way to help us any time we need something fixed or learning more about the system. [sensitive content hidden] is also fantastic and helps us with our marketing needs!
Cons: I wish our surveys had a link that the customer completing the survey could leave US a review on google or something. Sometimes tech support is not always familiar with all of the issues and it would help us if they were so that issues were resolved more quickly.
Yasser B. · Owner · Restaurants · September 12, 2024
Pros: Online ordering and delivery functions are the best part about HungerRush. The mobile app makes a difference and gives customers a more personal way to order from us. These features in addition to have a direct person to call at all times, [sensitive content hidden], help me run my concept.
Cons: HungerRush could benefit from creating a self ordering option such as a kiosk (mobile too) or QR code that we could use remotely if we are featured at a food festival, etc. Really hope to see text released this year to give our customers updates on their orders via text.
Howard W. · Owner · Restaurants · August 23, 2024
Have had hunger rush for ten years, it’s the next and we are always satisfied. Easy to use, smooth experience. [sensitive content hidden] is the best customer support!
Pros: Easy to use + great account manager. We have had the system over ten years
Cons: Nothing, we love hunger rush it is the best computer system for a pizzeria
Ricky D. · Owner · Restaurants · August 20, 2024
We have a great relationship with them and look forward to the future. We changed from our previous POS company mostly dues to online ordering issues. Now our customers love their ordering experience both on our mobile app and regular browser ordering.
Pros: They have the technology in place to keep up with the fast changing digital world. They are organized in implementing new locations and updates.
Cons: There seems to be confusion when it comes to billing for different services especially with the new High Radius billing implementation.
Richard F. · CMO · Restaurants · August 20, 2024
Pros: The biggest thing that we first liked was how intuitive it was and its ability to do what we need it to do like half and half pizzas, toppings, and light toppings, etc. I am not the most technical person, but I was able to program it myself.
Cons: We would like to have the option to print or not print merchant receipts/customer copies.
Jason B. · Owner Operator · Restaurants · August 19, 2024
Pros: It is pizza friendly which is huge to us. It makes my life easier with ease of use
Cons: Percentage tipped out for different labor types can be difficult and changing cash drawers mid shift has room for improvement.
Sarah N. · Owner · Restaurants · August 16, 2024
Pros: We like the simplicity of the close day and online ordering of HungerRush. We like having the ability to call [sensitive content hidden] to have a personable conversation about issues and helpful tips
Cons: We wished that Menufy allowed for more coupon customization
John S. · Owner · Restaurants · August 15, 2024
Pros: the improvement put in to resolve issues now and third party integrations being added
Cons: Communication between departments needs improvement when we add integrations to our system
Ron E. · General Manager · Restaurants · August 14, 2024
Pros: Our customer success manager, [sensitive content hidden], helps keep us up to speed on upcoming features that can help our business. We are really enjoying the Driver track with the improved side for drivers
Cons: Support hold times are long sometimes
Kelly B. · Owner · Restaurants · August 14, 2024
It's been a pleasure working with [sensitive content hidden] on setting up each of the platforms of the 360 system. Even though we are beating Industry averages on our Metrics, everyone believes that we can attain a much better ROI so we can continue to assess each component to ensure that we are maximizing our results.
Pros: Analysis provided monthly Ability to reach customers passively. Ability to build order counts without excessive Marketing costs
Cons: Inability at this point to personalize customer offers
