Their expertise has helped streamline processes, reduce administrative stress, and ensure confidence in benefits, payroll, and compliance. Having a trusted resource to turn to has made a noticeable difference in our day‑to‑day operations.
Pros: ADP’s Comprehensive Services has been a valuable partner for our team, providing reliable support, knowledgeable guidance, and responsive service
Cons: There is not a bank of resumes to review for open positions like on Indeed and LinkedIn. I believe this would be a game changer for the recruiting aspect.
Mallory W. · Human Resources Manager · Information Technology and Services · April 16, 2026
Still use the product everyday and they are constantly rolling out updates. I also trust in their compliance aspect which gives me room to breathe a bit.
Pros: ADP reporting is one of my favorite parts about the platform. They spit out in either pdf or excel or csv formatting. The excel sheets are the easiest to use and the Field Grabber option for simple reports is fast and easy.
Cons: Wish people missing their assigned shifts was a bit easier to find, read, evaluate. I also wish as they updated their platform, we were informed prior to the updates, to give us a heads up about the new experience.

Overall my experience with ADP comprehensive services is ookay. Unfortunately, the issue with contacting them is a huge issue. I would much rather be able to communicate via email or a chat.
Pros: What I like the most about ADP comprehensive services is the ability for it to manage our taxes owed to each state for us.
Cons: What I like least about ADP comprehensive services is the support portal. I submit a request and every time, they try to call me without asking/scheduling a time first or they send a "secure" message that is really inconvenient to open.

So far so good. I've used in the past as well as currently and the services has been far exceptional.
Pros: All of the core services are bundled together and this makes it more value for the money. The employee management is better as well.
Cons: Some lag in timely and responsiveness from the customer service team. There has been some disconnects from one representative to another

I'm a huge fan of the module. Now I don't have to hire an extra FTE as ADP is my payroll department. Their technology is top notch too on the other modules else yes such as Compensation, Recruiting, Leave Management and Benefits. Everything ties together nicely!
Pros: My favorite thing about ADP Comprehensive Services is the time that it gives back to me! Instead of spending time on payroll and compliance, ADP serves as my payroll department. It allows me to concentrate on strategic initiatives rather than the minutiae.
Cons: Some of the custom reports are difficult to set up. It may be more of a user issue though as I'm not the best at that sort of thing.

I have loved ADP Comprehensive Services thus far. I have been using it for 6 months and it has helped a lot with our HR needs including but not limited to taxes and benefit onboarding.
Pros: I love the HR support ADP Comprehensive Services provides. I also loved how easy it was to set up a wage garnishment case, and then my support team did the rest of the work for me!
Cons: I dont like having to report our payroll to a third party and then they process the payroll for approval. I like having full control- however we have not had many errors- this is more so just preference!

ADP Comprehensive Services helps us manage complex HR tasks like payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and employee support all in one platform. This has significantly reduced manual work, improved accuracy, and ensured we stay compliant with ever-changing regulations—freeing up time for our team to focus on strategic initiatives.
Pros: $7c
Cons: While ADP’s Comprehensive Services offers a wide range of features, the platform can have a steep learning curve and be somewhat costly, particularly for smaller businesses. There are occasional system glitches, and some customization options are limited, though customer support is generally helpful, if sometimes slow during peak times.
Ron K. · HCM Consultant · Paper & Forest Products · September 24, 2025
at first the services with the payroll team was rocky at best, but with some complaints we ended up with a team that is working to ensure that we have top notch services.
Pros: I like that all tools are in one package, and you do not have to go to different applications to complile information
Cons: That doing implementation, all functions are not set up to completion. Such as: project management & recruiting.
Carla J. · Chief People Officer · Non-Profit Organization Management · September 18, 2025
ADP Comp Services gives you time back into your day. You can focus on the big picture while they handle all the little picture items.
Pros: ADP Comp Services cares about your business and employees as much as you do. They provide excellent customer service for all aspects of payroll and HR whether it is payroll support, tax compliance, HR support, Open Enrollment, etc. The system is easy to ease even for the least tech savvy employees. New features are always being added.
Cons: Any "cons" I had for ADP have been either eliminated over the past 6 years with new features or realistic workarounds. So no complaints here.

The team is very helpful and friendly. They are also very knowledgeable. They have helped us figure out some tricky issues. They are an integral part of our team.
Pros: There are two areas which we find particularly helpful. Having a dedicated employee assistance line in MyLife Advisors and having dedicated reps. We really appreciate the attention and expertise we get from our team.
Cons: I can't think of any negatives. Whenever I think I have an issue, the team manager is always there to provide clarity, feedback, and assistance.

Overall the experience using ADP has been great, especially on the HR and payroll side.
Pros: Support provided by the staff is outsanding. I am able to get most everything done under one platform.
Cons: Unfortunately the 401k website can be cumbersome to log into as it continues to revert to the other platform. Would be great if it were all one login system.

Pros: Procesing payroll is quite easy and I appreciate that tools and resources that are available.

Overall, I am satisfied with the services.
Pros: The thing I like most is all the tools available on learn. I have really utilized this service for my management staff,
Cons: When there is an issue and having to either create a case or work with customer service. It is a hit or miss. The expectation to partake in the resolution can sometimes be unrealistic. For example, I was sharing an employee of mine had an issue and I didn't mind a little back and forth ensuring the issue was understood but it was crazy. Finally, I just said forget it. I have a job that I need to attend to. We will figure out work around.
