The overall experience with Employee Navigator has been pretty seamless! Client Service is great, the website is easy to navigate and learn, and I feel comfortable asking questions if I have any.
Pros: As a new user, Employee Navigator has been very easy to learn and easy to navigate. I had training with an account manager before being able to use, which was very helpful! I appreciate that it's not as clunky as other platforms.
Cons: At this time, I haven't experienced any issues with Employee Navigator. My only real feedback is that I wish there were more automated message or email templates that could be sent directly from Employee Navigator pertaining to new employee benefit reminders.

It has been a great experience, we partner with Benechoice and they were able to setup the system so that it functions properly.
Pros: The ease and convenience of the platform makes it easy for our team members to enroll and make changes to their benefits.
Cons: n/a

Overall since switching to this platform 2 years ago I have had a great experience. It syncs with Paylocity and has had no issues.
Pros: I like that it is very user friendly and fast to update changes. The system will sync and update usually within a day to reflect changes.
Cons: There have been times where I will update directly in Employee Navigator but the changes will not occur if you do not make them in CRM first.

Employee Navigator has been a reliable and efficient platform for managing benefits administration and core HR functions. It provides a centralized system that streamlines onboarding, enrollment, and employee data management, which has significantly reduced administrative workload and improved overall accuracy. The user interface is intuitive, making it easy for both HR teams and employees to navigate without extensive training.
Pros: Intuitive and user-friendly interface that makes navigation easy for both administrators and employees Streamlined onboarding and benefits enrollment process, reducing manual work and errors Strong integration capabilities with payroll and carrier systems, improving overall data accuracy
Cons: Limited flexibility in certain areas, such as benefits configuration or field customization User permissions and role management can feel restrictive or not granular enough Some processes are not as intuitive as expected, requiring additional training or support

OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN THAT IT IS A GOOD EASY PROGRAM BUT IT JUST DOESN'T DO EVERYTHING THAT WE NEED IT TO DO.
Pros: THE PROS OF EMPLOYEE NAVIGATOR IT IS EASY TO USE AND IT'S A GREAT SYSTEM TO SEND A LINK AND FILL OUT OPEN ENROLLMENT FORMS.
Cons: THE CONS OF EMPLOYEE NAVIGATOR ARE THAT THE SYSTEM DOESN'T REALLY TALK TO THE HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS. YOU STILL HAVE TO DO THE WORK.

Ease, flexibility, reporting aspects, benefits administration at a glance, and a great tracking and reporting platform.
Pros: Employee Navigator provides staff with easy access to their health benefits and is an excellent resource during open enrollment.
Cons: There is really nothing negative to say about this product, staff, and management enjoy the ease and flexibility.

Overall, very good. We even integrated Employee Navigator with Paylocity, which was super simple on both sides, and has served us well.
Pros: Employee Navigator is easy to use and I like how the homepage is laid out. It is especially helpful to see HR tasks listed right on the home screen, so it catches my attention when I log in.
Cons: We use Employee Navigator through American Health and Wellness, so I don't receive notifications directly; instead, they go to our benefits specialist at AHW. I would love to see a way for both myself and AHW to receive email notification regarding tasks/updates, etc.

Overall I enjoy using it, I wish that it pulled more information over like phone numbers or employment status.
Pros: It’s relatively easy to use and it easily inter-grates with most HRIS systems which is helpful for HR professionals.
Cons: I do not like that the feed isn’t always the best from one system to another. It sometimes doesn’t pull all the information.
Mackenzie L. · HR Manager · Health, Wellness and Fitness · March 3, 2026
Our overall experience has been great, we have been using it for 3 years now. Employees love using it for open enrollment
Pros: How easy it was to integrate into our payroll system. Made everything effortless. Also the SSO is a great feature
Cons: Sometimes the syncs can be a little off, but they’re able to be corrected very fast, so it’s not a huge issue
Trey M. · HR · Transportation/Trucking/Railroad · March 2, 2026
It has been great, honestly has worked so well with intergrating our systems with feeds. It has been less issues arise.
Pros: I love that it feeds to and from other applications for benefits, which makes processes SO much easier.
Cons: I really have not come accross any issues with Employee Navigator. Both admins and users find it extremely easy to use.
Devin S. · People Operations Partnet · Information Technology and Services · February 25, 2026
Navigator has been super smooth and easy to use, I make sure any broker I work with utilizes this product for a seamless transition and easy benefits enrollment period.
Pros: Employee Navigator is a great system to track employee benefits. It connects directly to our payroll system and always has up-to-date, accurate information. It is easy for both the employees and the employer to use during open enrollment. All the benefits documents are easy to find and running enrollment reports are super easy.
Cons: The only problem I have is that I wish there were more report options, like some to show employer vs employee cost of covereage.
Nicole S. · CFO · Construction · February 16, 2026
I feel it’s an adequate tool to display the benefits one is enrolled in. The open enrollment is fairly straightforward
Pros: The ability to have information available to me in a relatively simplistic format. Nothing overly complex with navigating, not too many parent/child folders and tabs to bounce to and from
Cons: That it’s segregated from payroll. And when I think about benefits on whole, I’d like to see a better conductor with things like Paylocity to be able to look at things more holistically.

It has been a good experience working with Navigator. It tracks our benefit enrollment and deduction. It has been easy to use.
Pros: I enjoy that Employee Navigator can be integrated with payroll systems, allowing for seamless movement of payroll data.
Cons: There are limits on what you can do as a user. An example is reminders, when conducting open enrollment, I had to schedule the reminders to go out. The latest reminder was 2 days before enrollment closed. I would like the ability to send out at any time.
Jennifer C. · HR Director · Defense & Space · January 12, 2026
Employee Navigator is ok. I think it would be useful for a large company, but for a smaller 75-100 employee company I would rather keep control of the benefit administration rather than going through Employee Navigator.
Pros: It is a good tool for open enrollment and to view employee benefits eligibility dates and enrollments.
Cons: At times, information does not flow over correctly or things are not setup to our company specifications. We rely on our third party benefits administrator to setup open enrollments and benefit costs in Employee Navigator. At times, rates are not correct in Employee Navigator so the wrong deduction amounts are taken from employee paychecks.
Amy O. · Payroll and Benefits Manager · Non-Profit Organization Management · December 26, 2025
Employee navigator saves time and is user-friendly for those who are not so tech-savvy. Employees can log in to view their previous contributions and move forward into the next benefit year.
Pros: The website is easy to navigate, and you do not have to worry about paper. all your elections are in one spot
Cons: I do not see any cons at this point when using employee navigator. It works very well. Employees have no issue logging on
Sherri C. · Human Resources Business Partner · Transportation/Trucking/Railroad · December 23, 2025
Pros: Makes enrollment a breeze. So easy to set it and forget it. I no longer have to remember when employees become eligible.
Cons: It is a bit complicated to set up, but I partner with brokers who can help me with the process now, and I had a good implementation specialist.
Nicole C. · Owner · Human Resources · December 22, 2025
Overall a great product that I would recommend. The service is great too. It has definitely made things easier for us.
Pros: The ease of use and the integrations and capabilities of the product. The open enrollment has made it easier for us as well.
Cons: Sometimes we run into minor errors with the system but very rarely but has been resolved with the escalation team.

We have loved the user friendly process from the Employee side but from the set up standpoint or the changing from year to year, it is cumbersome and not fun to work with. We have had an expert at Employee Navigator set up our product and it is still rough.
Pros: We went from Paper enrollment forms to having everything online and easy to use and see. The reports that were then at your fingertips were amazing!
Cons: Software is limited and confusing to set up. We have been using it for 3 years and it still isn't set up correctly and with all the kinks worked out.
Christina H. · HR Director · Construction · November 24, 2025
Our overall experience with Employee Navigator is excellent! It helps us keep track of our benefits - from Open Enrollment to changes in premiums. I can't imagine our lives without it!
Pros: There are so many wonderful things about Employee Navigator, I don't even know where to begin! It integrates seamlessly with our payroll software and keeps up with all of our employee benefit changes, even the smallest changes, such as a premium change due to a salary change. It allows us to roll out our new plans during Open Enrollment and helps us track compliance. It's also at a price point that makes it worth every penny!
Cons: There aren't many things I don't like about Employee Navigator, it is easy to use and nearly foolproof. It has yet to let me down.
Dawn L. · Practice Administration · Hospital & Health Care · November 24, 2025
We use EN for our benefits enrollment process. It makes it so much easier for employees to enroll. I love that it feeds through to our payroll system so no manual entry of deductions is necessary.
Pros: Ease of integration with our HRIS and Payroll System. Very customizable and user friendly. Our employees find it easy to enroll and or change their benefits directly in Employee Navigator!
Cons: I would like to see more canned report options. I find I'm often writing ad-hoc reports. The reports they have are good, but they are limited.
Jennifer C. · Director of Human Resources · Wholesale · November 19, 2025
Pros: Online enrollment is the best, it's such a game changer to move away from paper and have most the systems sync up.
Cons: There is no way to include 401k enrollment/feed. This would be especially helpful at open enrollment.
Jen H. · People Operations Manager · Architecture & Planning · November 14, 2025
Pleasant. User friendly. Accessible. Simple, and walks you through every step of the way. I like that it can integrate with Paylocity.
Pros: Its super simple and user friendly. Literally walks you through every step of the way. It flows nicely with Paylocity so everything is consistent.
Cons: I wish the custom reporting was a little more user friendly. Other than that I have no complaints about it.
Anonymous User · HR Assistant · Construction · November 12, 2025
Our overall experience has been very positive. The program is designed to be simple and easy for employees to be able to enroll in their benefits and for administrators to easily find reports.
Pros: I like the ease of the program. It makes my job so much easier with all the reporting features, tracking new hires to make sure they have enrolled in benefits. The ease of integrating with our payroll company.
Cons: There isn't anything I don't like about the program. I can't find any con to report. It's simply the easiest program to use for employees and Administrators.
Julie P. · Vice President of Human Resources · Hospital & Health Care · November 6, 2025
It has been great thus far! We have used Employee Navigator for the past 3+ year and we are extremely happy with its functionality. As I previously stated, it has cut out a lot of the leg work for me and automated our benefits process which is a huge plus for us.
Pros: Employee Navigator makes our benefit process very easy. From new hire enrollments to open enrollment, it has cut out the leg work and made it so easy for these things to be completed on both the employee and employer end. It is integrated with our HRIS system, Paylocity, so it receives updates on things like name/address changes, new hires, and terminations and applies them in real time. It has automated a lot of the process that we used to do manually so it has also saved our company time and money!
Cons: The reporting functioning can be really hard to navigate if you don't know some of the terms that are being used for report names, or where to find specific reports.
Emily C. · VP of HR · Hospital & Health Care · November 4, 2025
The overall experience is wonderful, excellent customer service, connects direct to the HRIS and Insurance platform saving hours of manual labor hours for me. In addition, it has compliance reminders to help me stay compliant with required notices and law changes. I highly recommend this product as a one stop solution for your benefits platform.
Pros: The application is extremely user friendly and really simplifies getting employees enrolled in benefits. This application also helps ensure that we are maintaining compliance with changes and required notices. The customer support has been amazing as well, I have never had to wait more than a few hours to get an issue resolved. The application connects the benefits deductions directly to our HRIS software eliminating the need for manual entries. It is a great tool for the busy HR professional.
Cons: There really are no cons, we do have divisions that we have to enter which can be a pain but that is organization specific and not anything that Employee Navigator has required!
