Pros: The time tracking was fine, I believe that was why my company switched to them from trinet. This was really the only aspect of the software that worked well.
Cons: Their customer service is awful. They not only messed up all our W-2s, but have yet to send the corrected ones after many requests and reminders. We’re now a week from the tax deadline and our entire staff will have to file for an extension this year. Instead of being transparent about the process it’s been nothing but platitudes and canned responses like “thanks for your patience”

Our overall experience with Go Co has been a good one and we are happy we made the decision to purchase the software.
Pros: It was easy to install and implement. There wasn't much of a learning curve because it is a pretty intuitive software
Cons: It is a little bit on the expensive side. However, we were able to justify the cost because it does simplify the onboarding process.

Pros: GoCo has basic functionalities for small businesses looking for an HRIS. They were able to help us organize our employee database when we did not previously have one.
Cons: GoCo has promised features that were never delivered, or were delivered much later than promised. We also did not have the support we were looking for through implementation.

My overall experience is that I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to Use it for payroll
Pros: I like the value for your money.The scheduling and time clock and the payroll, it all gives a good learning curve.The security as great as well
Cons: Sometimes, the onboarding can be a little bit confusing, but in the end it helps the employee.There are some bugs and issues that need to be worked out

Horrible I do not recommend using them if you need to ensure tax compliance. Moves very slow and most people stay siloed vs help you.
Pros: [sensitive content hidden] was helpful in payroll. He seemed the most empathetic out of the media of individuals we came across during our turbulent times.
Cons: I’m not able to find anything I like. It’s been six weeks and we haven’t been able to pay the [sensitive content hidden] because they don’t understand how to fix an issue they created with S Corp. tax benefits. I feel like we’ve had to describe tax code and everyone is so stuck in their silo. No one would track down the actual issue until about week four. I’m the COO and I haven’t gotten paid in a month.

Strong starters, weak finishers. During the onboarding process with them, it was obvious that some of their 'onboarding team' were either rookies at their jobs, or just didn't understand what their jobs were. We're still dealing with payroll tax issues that they created during the onboarding process- and they're blaming Gusto- and Gusto is blaming GoCo. When seeking support online their responses are usually a link to a page on their help site. They seem to get more responsive as their renewal comes up, and all of a sudden they want our feedback. Most of the people we've talked to within the organization don't find solutions, just offer lip service.
Pros: We liked the ability to streamline our onboarding process. Different tasks can be assigned to different individuals, and deadlines could be set. The onboarding process is about the only pro that I can think of.
Cons: Their support is close to non-existent. I have never been able to connect to a live person on the phone. We have had numerous issues related to payroll, scheduling and a myriad of other problems, and they are always days away from a response.

HR processes from hiring to time off became less fragmented. Dashboards made payroll seamless, and compliance easier to monitor.
Pros: Automated onboarding gets new employees moving fast, and payroll flows are adaptable, so time tracking, benefits, and documents are all in one place.
Cons: Learning curve bites while creating data maps and workflows for enhanced reports, whereas bug fixes require careful follow-up.

I would not recommend GoCo to anyone. There are a number of glitches in the system and not enough support.
Pros: The interface is sleek. The team page looks good.
Cons: Payroll is TERRIBLE. The system is constantly giving an error message that you can't fix. You have to wait on GoCo to fix it. Currently, sitting on the phone trying to troubleshoot a payroll that was submitted on 11/1. It's 11/5 and my pay date is today.

We had a good experience implementing the product and continue to enjoy using it for our staff. It gives them access to their files.
Pros: Onboarding is much easier. New hires complete offer letter and all new hire paperwork. They also have access to all our benefits management. It makes open enrollment simple.

In my experience GoCo is best used on a computer. Updating your tax or direct deposit information couldn't be easier. I believe it is a product worth using.
Pros: GoCo has a user friendly layout that is simple to navigate and use.
Cons: Load time on the app can be extremely long .

GoCo is looking on how they can improve. They take the time to listen and put your requests into engineering for release. They have regular releases and it's nice to see the focus on responding to the customer.
Pros: I like having a customer service team that responds quickly. They assist with customization and education.
Cons: For the end user the interfaces are clunky. It would be nice if things were more one click completion and intuitive on the mobile app.

So far it has been good. Alot to testing things on my own to see if they work.
Pros: The time off reporting is the best feature for our smaller company and also the onboarding workflows are great for our small company to remember all the things needed to onboard a new employee.

It helps cut down on time spend on-boarding people. It makes it easy to send forms company wide for signature.
Pros: The on boarding is it streamlined. No more copying and having to check every sheet of paper if signed or acknowledged.
Cons: Wish all documents could be started by employees themselves all the time without have to go those the workflow. I would like to be able to have my documents in customized folders.

I enjoyed my experience with GoCo as a starting platform. I think this is great use for small to mid size company.
Pros: I liked how clear and easy it was to use GoCo. Our employees were able to navigate clearly, trust data, and have a history available for reviews, benefit changes, and pto.
Cons: I would like to see more accurate reporting out of the benefits changes, headcount, and other reports. It was difficult as we were not able to pull reports from a point in time or range accurately. There was always manual adjustment that had to be made.

Coco allows us to monitor and track our employees time throughout the day and hold them accountable. It allows us to manage overtime and have prompt conversations with employees about low/high hours.
Pros: Real time tracking and accountability for employees and leader ship. Allows leader ship to also monitor time off requests and balances.
Cons: We are a fairly new user, and at this time, I do not have any concerns about the product or its functionality.

It's been amazing! The onboarding and general HR work is the best part for me.
Pros: Makes onboarding so easy! The custom fields have been perfect for us too.
Cons: No difficulties at all. We haven't tried payroll yet but maybe we will.
