We began working with them weeks ago to deliver exactly what we needed to expand our non-profit operations here in Atlanta Georgia. We appreciated they allowed us ample time to speak with our board members and slowly build up to what we needed in real time. We never felt rushed or any kind of high pressure sales pitches. Again, I cannot rate their products or customers service highly enough.
Pros: Let's start with the amazing customer service, award winning charisma of this team. Charity Tracker is not only THE software for your non-profit needs, it should be the standard for customer support. They go above and beyond to assist your team in delivering exactly what you need without trying to oversell you unnecessary software additions. I cannot rate their customer support highly enough!
Cons: So far there is just noting to report here! Everything from customer support to the products themselves have made our lives easier, less stressful, and all around better.

We have used Charity Tracker for at least 15 years that I know of - probably longer. They have always supported us in the way we may need to tweak this in order for it to meet all our needs. We use it for our entire county so other providers can see what assistance is being given by who to prevent "double dipping" by clients. We most recently started using the outcomes to measure the results of our financial coaching program. I LOVE Charity Tracker and will (and have) recommended it to other agencies.

The CharityTracker Team is amazing! Customer service is supreme! The system is easy to use, the reporting provides data that can be used for grants, to determine needs and to help clients receive the services they need.
Pros: The ease of use for all levels of technology knowledge, customer support is excellent, reporting is superior and the value for the cost is amazing!
Cons: I would not change anything about CharityTracker. It provides everything you need to bring your community together and positively track clients and the services they need.

My overall experience with CharityTracker has been incredibly positive. It’s a daily privilege to represent a tool that plays such a vital role in the collective success of our community’s helping programs. Because I’ve seen firsthand the benefits of using this platform, I’m genuinely passionate about demonstrating its value to other agencies and churches. CharityTracker makes it easier to measure real impact, helping organizations see the tangible results of their efforts and strengthen the support they provide to those in need.
Pros: What I appreciate most about CharityTracker is how it has helped our county’s agencies move beyond simple resource distribution to achieving measurable impact. The Outcomes Assessment tool, in particular, gives us the ability to track how clients are influenced by the services and resources they receive. This insight allows us to see clear connections between the care provided and each client’s progress toward self-reliance. When setting goals, we can use this data to evaluate the effectiveness of our programs and make informed adjustments as needed. Ultimately, CharityTracker empowers us to refine our strategies and develop best practices that make our collective support more effective and responsive to community needs.
Cons: The biggest challenge with CharityTracker hasn’t been the platform itself, but encouraging agencies and churches to understand the value of consistent data entry. Although the system is HIPAA-compliant and designed to support data-informed decision-making, some partners hesitate because they feel they lack the staff time for input. In reality, CharityTracker’s features can actually streamline their processes and save time once integrated into daily operations. I would also love to see the introduction of “Sister Networks” across counties, since many organizations serve the same clients beyond our borders. Broader data sharing would strengthen collaboration and could help populate [sensitive content hidden] for all of North Alabama, moving us closer to a unified, statewide community resource.

The network was not utilized by the member agencies as robustly as should have occurred to make the referral process work well. Agencies that joined enjoyed the bulletin feature, and that made seeking resource help quick and painless.
Pros: Bulletin feature made mass communication simple. Self-editing of agency entries also useful. Reporting functions customizable, very useful.
Cons: Repeatedly uploading ROIs when multiple family members were added. No formatting in the service description box, we had to create a consistent protocol for description entries.

We are still learning, but it has proven to be a good investment. The help we received when setting it all up was very valuable.
Pros: The flexibility on what data we can track. We have been able to even track some "unusual" data. It is user friendly.
Cons: The cost of individual licenses. It would be beneficial to be able to have at least 2 people per license.

It has been good and has provided a central database but we will not be able to use it long term for disaster case management
Pros: It is easy to navigate and look up client information. Also love that we can have as many users on it as we need since we have a lot of volunteers that help with different aspects.
Cons: It cannot support some of the files we need to upload as they seem to be too large. Also, we cannot separate storms or regions. Everyone has access to all of the client information.

It is a very useful tool for those of us charged with working with indigent individuals but it has been so poorly adopted by area charities that it makes the work frustrating.
Pros: CharityTracker provides me with information on indigent individuals in the Glasgow/Barren County KY area who have been helped in the past.
Cons: 1) The poor use by area churches and agencies that this was designed to benefit. 2) The ROI (Release of Information) is unhandy. I’m thinking of having generic ROIs printed for the individuals to complete on the spot and adding to CT later. 3) If I fail to enter information on a client - which I have - it doesn’t work well. It’s only as good as the user willing to use it.

We love using Charity Tracker—it streamlines distributions, simplifies case management, and enables us to post needs or surplus items to share with other agencies and churches.
Pros: Monitoring the allocation of resources to individuals and families to prevent redundant aid and ensure equitable distribution.
Cons: Searching for a client's name can be challenging when variations in spelling occur but not all of them are appear as a choice.

Overall I would recommend Charity Tracker to other organizations as it was easy to implement and is very user friendly.
Pros: I find Charity Tracker very easy to navigate, which makes training new employees and volunteers much easier.
Cons: There are some custom fields we have created and I cannot get those fields to pull with details on any reports.

I have had an extremely positive experience. It is functional, easy to use, can add documentation, photos, and measures the data extremely effectively.
Pros: The ability to integrate it with our new Equip for Life Program to be able to add new clients with their information on a simple platform that can show client documentation.
Cons: So far, I have not had a negative experience. I do wish it had a way to track inventory management.

Very helpful, easy to use, easy to log in. I'm sure more communities would benefit from using it!
Pros: It's easy to find out what then needs are in our area and it's very easy to post what my patients needs for other entities to help me find resources to help my patients.
Cons: It'd be nice if there is a way to find out if the need has been met or if it's still pending.

Overall, the team is eager to meet every network's needs, which is greatly appreciated. We are pleased with the capabilities of the system!
Pros: I really enjoy working with the technical support team if we need additional customizations to different features. They are always quick to respond and provide clarification for any inquiries we have. Also, we like the referral process within CharityTracker and are looking forward to seeing the impact made in our community as a result.
Cons: It is currently not possible for the same staff member to be an Agency Administrator in multiple agencies, thus increasing the risk of a referral not going through if a staff member is out of the office. In the future, we hope to see extended flexibility in supervision to handle circumstances where one staff member oversees multiple networks within the system.

It have been pleasant considering the software I used last year. It was easy to navigate and support was readily available, if needed.
Pros: The software was user friendly and easy to navigate. It presented with features that could be useful in different environments/systems.
Cons: I would've like to hide or remove features that weren't feasible for the information needed. Also, an option to run a few generic reports for monthly data would have been useful without having to customize or filter,

The initial introduction to Charity Tracker was accurate, the training was thorough, and the daily use of the database is easy

Satisfied. It's easy to use day to day. though not easy to fill out a case that isn't recently open. It requires knowing the full name with correct spelling. An easy way to just search the first letter of either first or last name or have it alphabetically to make it easier to go to that section.
Pros: Easy interface. Has all the basics you need for case management.
Cons: Able to see the entirety of cases between all agents. Ability to search a name you can't remember based on the first letter.

I haven't had a lot of opportunity to use it but found it helpful and easy to use.
Pros: The ability to see what other services a client has received. It is easy to use.

We love it. Would love an easier way to print entire case note section.

I have used CT for the past five years with different nonprofits.
Pros: The options on reporting are great, just need a little more ease on the custom reporting.

overall, i enjoy the program and think it is very useful especially with the self customizing options, but would suggest for larger companies to be aware of glitches that might occur.
Pros: I like that we can clearly run reports on exactly what area we are attempting to monitor. the customization is very helpful.
Cons: There are a few glitches within the system specifically we were scanning barcodes for our clients for attendance and meals. when we went to run the report we found even though we followed the steps it stated, none of our data had been saved for a couple of months.

Overall my experience is good, I think the program is a good program. Has room for improvements but overall it works well for what we use it for.
Pros: I love how well organized everything is for us as a food pantry it works well with organizing the people we serve
Cons: I think that its very hard for me personally to make changes to specific items. I think there's always room for improvement.
