Text In Church

Pros: Great value for the money. It helps us be proactive with new guests by getting info and messages out so quickly. The responsiveness of the platform is stellar.

Cons: We need to build in some personal elements in the middle of the workflow to stay connected. We would love to be able to add our name or church name as the number so people don’t think it’s a spam call or text. We are considering addressing ourselves in the message so at least it’s possible iPhones would recognize and list it as us.

Pros: With the ability to text in this day and age is critical and Text in Church makes it simple to get started. They offer a complete set of features, local numbers, keywords, groups and more.

Cons: I wish you could set multiple keywords or phrases to trigger an action instead of just one word. We get a lot of phrases that don't end up triggering a workflow.

Pros: I appreciated the ability to connect with Planning Center People Lists and schedule texts and workflows.

Cons: I didn't prefer the interface, and, until recently, it didn't function as a full integration within Planning Center.

Pros: The ease of connecting with all our congregants at once yet msgs appeared to recipient as individualized.

Cons: I had to keep going in up price to meet our growing needs.

Pros: I don't text in church. I pay attention to the preacher and what's going on

Cons: People not paying attention to what is going on. Wr need more a god

Pros: It's really helps us stay connected to our church members in an easy to use familiar format.

Cons: There was a bit of a learning curve with it, but they did give us helpful documents and videos.

Pros: The templates are great and help to save a lot of time trying to do it yourself.

Cons: When I read a message in the app it still shows I have a message until I manually mark it as read or archive it. That was annoying to me.

Pros: Text in Church provides reliable messaging services for our church. We're also able to integrate it with our website for collecting visitor information.

Cons: It requires close collaboration of users when multiple people are using it at the same time.

Pros: Lovely product, easy to use and installation had no issues. Easy to communicate and my daughter could use it easily.

Cons: Sometimes it can be slow after the updates

Pros: How easy it is to use and how I was able to create a QR code and now visitors can scan and enter their info instead of using paper cards. Complete Time Saver

Cons: The size of the packages and the need to always buy extra minutes.

Pros: Text in Church provides a comprehensive system to follow up with guests and to communicate with members of your church effectively.

Cons: The cost is not feasible for all churches.

Pros: The ability to communicate with people quickly.

Cons: The texts were not reliable. Often we would schedule them and they'd either not go or be sent at the wrong time (was not operator error). Also, their pricing was extremely high compared to the competition.

Pros: Text in Church and Talk in Church are the backbone of my communications systems

Cons: The pay structure in relation to the features I do and do not use makes it so that I pay a lot for the few services I use, but then have to pay more if I want to use the features I do use to their full capacity.

Pros: Ease of use Ability to delegate to other users

Cons: I haven’t encountered any issues with the program up to this point!

Pros: Putting out information to a chosen group, individuals, or the mass.

Cons: It really needs the ability for others to be able to communicate to anyone in their church

Pros: I really like the way follow-up system works, that is how they remind Church members in important timetables and services like praying together, sharing Word of hope, encouragement to one another through trusted text and emails, to build Godly character

Cons: Improve studying, sharing of word of Christ and prayer that js the key to our great commission in Matthew 28:18-20

Pros: This software it's really useful and great, it's easy to understand and use and provide us great tools and functions to use the software, this program it's absolutely useful and thanks to the differents options and tools, it's absolutely good.

Cons: I don't like that some tools are difficult to use and are not optimizated to use and it's really hard to learn about them.

Pros: I love how easy this software is to use and customize. It is also automatic, so once you have it set up it runs everything so smoothly.

Cons: I don't always get notifications to my phone... but it hasn't hindered the effectiveness, just my response time.

Pros: I love Text in Church for many reasons but specifically its simplicity to set up and use

Cons: The only thing I'd like to see improved is the # of characters allowed for a text to be sent in one message but I'm not sure TIC has any control over that.

Pros: The functionality, consistent desire of staff to improve what is offered, and community between members is perfect. We will never use anything different!

Cons: We can’t think of anything at all. Love that they are willing to listen and revise the system based on what users would like.

Pros: Text in Church is a fantastic text program that is easy to use, affordable and integrates perfectly with our Church Management Software.

Cons: I do wish they had more alternative pricing tiers in regards to number of text we can send.

Pros: They ability to set up guest follow up so those who are new do not fall through the cracks. It has helped us stay in contact after someone has come and be able to minister after that initial visit. We also like the ability to put a plan a visit on our site so someone we can communicate with them and give them some invite on our church before they come. This helps out with those awkward feelings for new guests.

Cons: only thing I have is about setting specific dates for txts to go out, which they listen to our feed back and are working on this.
