ProPresenter

Pros: It offers nearly every possible feature you'd need for video production at a church or similar venue. It has great integrations with other platforms. It's also highly flexible for whatever your setup is. I even used it once to run and control an escape room we built for a company team week!

Cons: ProPresenter has continued to rapidly innovate with new features and capabilities over the years, making it extremely powerful. Unfortunately, as its functionality has grown, so has its learning curve. If you've been along for the entire ride, you've probably incrementally learned new features and new UX changes as they've been added. However, if you're new to using ProP, it can be very daunting to know where to start. I'd for sure recommend watching YouTube vids or other types of training before jumping straight in and hoping to figure it out along the way.

Pros: The design of the software makes it very intuitive for a beginner to use, yet is also robust enough for those who want to do more with the app. I like the new design.

Cons: The learning curve for the more graphical features and slide movement can take a while to learn. The software can do SO much that it is important to "read the manual." This is not necessary to use, but to use the software at it's fullest, some time should be spent in the manual.

Pros: Absolutely nothing. My church has been using PP for long time and we have been suffering from it's buggy issues the whole time. I have asked Manny times that we find something else but for some reason people like to suffer.

Cons: Almost everything about it has a problem at some point. One week the status goes to Orange and nothing will display. The next week it freezes in the middle of worship every few verses.

Pros: ProPresenter is modern, the user face is super friendly compared to other church audio/visual products out there, it is great for it's value of money, and customer support is very good and efficient.

Cons: ProPresenter likes to go chaotic sometimes, especially on a Sundy morning. It will go several minutes loading until you get to the home page or it says "not responding" for so many minutes. It sometimes freezes randomly here and there.

Pros: Propresenter allows our church to run presentations seamlessly every week. There are so many features that are VERY customizable to anything we may need. It’s also helpful to be able to control so many things from one software - ex. livestream, main screen, lower thirds, decorative LEDs, etc.

Cons: I wish that propresenter could be accessed through a web browser so that it could be edited from any computer - even if the software wasn’t downloaded. I feel this would make collaboration easier.

Pros: The UI is mostly easy to understand for typical operation - you either tap space bar to proceed to the next slide or click on the slide you want to jump to.

Cons: Occasional issues with systems that are left on for prolonged periods like the display screen doesn't want to work till you close and reopen the App or reboot the computer. Risk averse Admins will want to postpone Updates but the program will constantly ask if you want to install the updates so "helpful" operators may install them anyways, either on purpose or accident. Some of the UI isn't so simple to understand without reading the documentation (but the documentation is excellent and easy to read).

Pros: Ease over all of adding lyrics and backgrounds. Although glitchy at times, it’s above and beyond the others.

Cons: Glitchy and would be harder to find things easily. But it may have improved since I used it last. It has been awhile. But I bet it’s even better now.

Pros: Idon’t it’s cumbersome , cannot change the settings so we can use .. no support or help 2 weeks before we can actually talk with someone

Cons: You cannot reach customer service . And even though we have paid for the subscription it’s keeps glitching the logo

Pros: The ability to build multiple worship services for multiple buildings using the same database of worship videos, songs, and other graphics.

Cons: The steep learning curve to use ProPresenter effectively. It doesn't always seem intuitive.

Pros: Propresenter allows us to build the service and use macros to control features like lighting and sound.

Cons: Upgrades sometimes introduce issues that are hard to work around but new features are often worth the headaches. Just don't upgrade right before a service.

Pros: I love this program because it is the most powerful tool for managing all aspects of worship services in a church. It is fundamentally easy to use, includes all the features I need, and is designed with every function necessary for preparing and running worship services or performances.

Cons: Although the program is built for easy operation, it still requires practice to master. The more features it has, the better understanding you need to utilize them effectively. Therefore, how well you grasp this tool determines how effectively you can use it.

Pros: All of our songs are saved within the program-so no jumping windows!

Cons: there's a ton of options that can make it confusing

Pros: I absolutely love the interface, simple but with everything you need.

Cons: I something noticed some bugs, but technical support fixed them in a week or less.

Pros: Easy to use media projection software for church services. Our media team can easily project images and video on multiple large screens during services.

Cons: Propresenter has attempted to go to more a subscription model for their software.

Pros: it's so much easy then other programs out there I would recommended this to any churches out there.

Cons: there's no cons whatsoever about this program.

Pros: Intuitive program. Easy to follow with a fairly long learning curve. But once you become comfortable with the format the whole program becomes straight forward.

Cons: Sometimes there are glitches that may be user error or something going on with the program with updates. Those are usually rectified quickly.

Pros: Patience with me. Willingness to not give up.

Cons: There really was nothing they didn’t help me through.

Pros: Very capable, lots of options. I like the integrations with SongSelect for importing lyrics.

Cons: Can be a little difficult to train volunteers to use it

Pros: The feature I like most is the preview feature on the bottom of the stage monitor setting so I know what verse or words are on my next slide.

Cons: As a pastor using this program it's a challenge. Sometimes I am working slide 15 and I do something an it jumps to slide 1 or another location. Also, you can now not preview your slideshow without a subscription, we have a subscription for our worship center but why do I need one to build my presentation.

Pros: That you can combine so many features together for you worship live experience

Cons: the remote app is not truly updated from a long time

Pros: Its ease of use, being able to broadcast to so many different views at the same time.

Cons: It takes a bit of training/use to really operate some basics.

Pros: The incredible capacity for customization, editing and functionalities for the service is incredible

Cons: One might think that the platform is not in Spanish for Latin Americans, but leaving that aside everything is incredible even their customer service is effective

Pros: I am new to this area of technology. But the first tutorial that I watched seemed easy to follow. The speker's voice was clear and easy to understand. This makes our choice of ProPresenter a good one.

Cons: I have not found anything yet. It all comes together and makes our slides very professional and flow well.
