Not great - the customer service representatives talk over you instead of listening to you and your issues. [sensitive content hidden] would not take the time to let me finish - he kept speaking over me and telling me they couldn't solve our issues and why they did what they did. Each time I asked him to let me finish speaking instead, he interrupted me again and told me what he had to say was more important. Then, he said he would end the call if I didn't let him talk instead of him listening to me.
Pros: Originally - customer service was helpful, not difficult to learn, however, the customer service became extremely unhelpful once I had a problem they couldn't solve easily.
Cons: Servant Keeper decided to create their own online giving platform, and essentially "force" the use of it by making their original online giving very difficult to use. When the product became difficult to use or didn't fit our church specific needs, I was told that our church was the problem and they couldn't develop a solution for us.

I have appreciated having and using it. My coworkers have struggled to keep things straight because of it's complexity.
Pros: I really like its customizations. It feels endless (it isn't). Almost all the fields and can renamed and/or repurposed from their default. It is very comprehensive.

We have used Servant Keeper for almost 20 years. Great product!
Pros: Servant Keeper Takes all the work out of preparing contribution statements. We have used SK for our church contributions for over 18 years.
Cons: There is really nothing that I dislike about SK...there are a lot of features that we do not use, but everything we use, we like.

Their customer service was poor at times when they had compatibility issues with Mac OS. And on top of that their pricing model went up. If they had kept up the look and feel of their software that would not be an issue. However they raised prices without adding functionality to their suite of services. Further I discovered after the fact that there were some benefits with the higher pricing— however no one ever communicated that to us—- the customer.
Pros: Product is very customizable as far as database fields go. It also has a lot of functionality within the reports manager.
Cons: They fell woefully behind in keeping up with an up to date GUI. The interface looks like an old version of windows. In addition we experience multiple times when they lacked compatibility with the later Mac OS updates. For weeks at a time we had no choice but to only access Servant Keeper via a Windows based computer.

We use SK for church membership organization. The platform assists us with end-of-year reports as well as occasional mailings.
Pros: The depth of services provided on the platform. SK can handle everything a church needs.
Cons: The overall interface and user experience need to be improved.

I was the database admin the We had constant issues with the ck system.
Pros: Very easy to use and easy to train volunteers and members
Cons: Check in was not wireless and was bulky having computers at each station

Due to the unfortunate experiences with Servant Keeper, I have led my organization to switch immediately.
Pros: I did not like anything about Servant Keeper.
Cons: It was not appealing to the eye. The customer service and ease of use was absolutely the worst I have ever experienced.

Overall, it is a simple solution for making online giving an option, and it is very easy to incorporate into one's pre-existing website.
Pros: Very easy to use and set up online. Makes giving very easy and convenient for givers, and very easy for the treasurer to track and record.
Cons: The fees. Servant Keeper took over from the previous software we used, but we didn't pay as much in fees previously. e.g. If all donations are made by credit card, but none by ACH one month, then we pay a fee for ACH - even though we didn't even process any ACH transactions. It seems that for some reason the credit card fees are a little higher, as well.

Overall, my experience has been great so far. The resources and support from Servant Keeper have made it easy to use all the features Servant Keeper offers. Every question I had has been answered, and I can call someone for help, which makes a big difference to me.
Pros: I am so impressed with everyone I have talked to so far at Servant Keeper. I have taken a few webinars, called the Help Desk and emailed with the onboarding team a few times. Every time my experience was excellent. Everyone is so helpful and patient. I got lucky to talk to [sensitive content hidden] from the Help Desk twice, and she is outstanding.
Cons: We are struggling with a few glitches for the account setup for donors, which are concerning me. I have talked to [sensitive content hidden] about it, and hope Servant Keeper can remedy the issues as soon as possible. After you first sign up and create your account, our donors are unable to enter their payment info. Even after logging out and logging back in the next day, it still doesn't seem to work. It eventually works, but I anticipate a little frustration from our donors.

Again, it's the support that makes this software hum for me. I am pretty good using it but occasionally still need a little help and you guys are always available, helpful and patient.
Pros: I especially like the support - everyone is knowledgeable and patient. The software is very good as well, and it's now in the cloud for "on the move" access.
Cons: Least? I'm thinking. I can't really think of what I don't like - wait I know. You have upgrades often and I don't have admin access to my own computer so I always have to ask my Tech guy to come to my desk, log in and accept the update.

The only thing I can say before I spoke with [sensitive content hidden], I've had others that I spoke to but she by far has been the best.
Pros: I shared this on another survey. [sensitive content hidden] was fantastic, extremely professional, and made me feel comfortable while discussing roles. She made me feel I was the most important customer she had.
Cons: I have nothing per se negative about Servant Keeper

I am very pleased with the functionality within Servant Keeper. I must state again, that I have never had better customer service. Not only was the CSR knowledgeable on every question I asked, and may I add, I had very random questions, but all were completely answered, and just ... WOW!!! How nice to deal with a company that appreciates your business even if we are small fries.
Pros: The price is very affordable. The features are much more user-friendly, and vast, compared to the limitations of Realm. The customer service is top-notch! I never received this from Realm.
Cons: The cloud version SK8 seems to have slow connection issues but it could be from my MAC setup. We also have a Windows PC with no issues running multiple screens simultaneously in SK8.

I have been working with Servant Keeper for about 7 or 8 years. I was offered in person training with the personnel from the company for a number of months. I liked all features and the most importantly the excellent customer service.
Pros: I like Servant Keeper because it has all of the features to help you collect and maintain information for members, general and monetary. Also, I really like the fact that there is always available knowledgeable, patient and courteous staff to help you with any situation you may have.
Cons: I personally like all of the features of Servant Keeper.

[sensitive content hidden] at the Help Desk provided exceptional assistance during our Servant Keeper upgrade. Her expertise and dedication made the process smooth and efficient. We're grateful for her outstanding support, ensuring a positive experience throughout the upgrade. Kudos to [sensitive content hidden] for going above and beyond to help us.
Pros: We have found Servantkeeper easy to use, from installation to daily operation, it is truly impressive. The streamlined installation process made the initial setup hassle-free, and the intuitive interface has simplified daily use. This user-friendly experience has not only saved time but also enhanced overall productivity.
Cons: We have not experienced any negative aspects of its use. Its seamless functionality and user-friendly interface have contributed to a hassle-free experience.

Very good - customer service is excellent and the product is helpful in many ways.
Pros: Received great customer service today. Product is for the most part pretty good. Saves a lot of time. Useful for tracking donations and maintaining lists of congregants who serve in various capacities.
Cons: Some of the interfaces don't always work that well. Setting up new financial management program and it is a bit more complex than we anticipated.
Bonnie R. · Sr. Minister · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 1, 2023
Our experience with Servant Keeper has been excellent. It is a great program, reasonably priced, and SK adds functionality to keep it current in the market. It enabled us to open up to donations other than by physical check (which is how the under 30 set prefers to give)! Highly recommended.
Pros: We are a small church, using spreadsheets to track most finances. We needed an easily understandable program that we could use for donation giving, and produce the year-end donor reports. Servant Keeper fits the bill! We also use the donor tracking capability to be able to do demographic studies of our congregation (location, age, amount given, etc.). We have not yet used the Directory feature, but we expect to do so in a fe months. As we grow it has additional features into which we can grow.
Cons: I really don't have any cons with respect to Servant Keeper.

Pros: integration with Vanco and Mailchimp have been helpful, existing report templates are pretty comprehensive, customizable fields on individual and family profiles, groups keeper is a pretty good way of grouping people together based on a wide variety of criteria, being accessible offline is convenient, there are a ton of features on every module and several ways to do the same things
Cons: report customization is clunky and limiting, mobile apps are buggy and not super helpful, the learning curve is big and the interface is not super intuitive or user-friendly, the number of fields that are not utilized is overwhelming and distracting, exporting to CSV does not work very well and often creates more work, the software being downloaded is limiting in its accessibility for multiple users, the price is constantly increasing without more features being added, data entry systems are simultaneously very limiting and also very vague which easily leads to inconsistency and clerical errors, support is not super helpful and there isn't a ton of online information to help with basic questions, overall the system is outdated and clunky and not ideal for churches with the intention of growth
Lillie S. · Secretary · Religious Institutions · October 11, 2023
Pros: The customer service woman went above and beyond helping me with my problem. I really appreciate that
Cons: Very user un-friendly !! After the update, I spent 3 hours with issues related to the update. Makes we uneasy about ever updating again
Gail V. · Finance · Civic & Social Organization · October 9, 2023
very good
Pros: It is so good in keeping up with the people and their giving
Cons: nothing, I don't have anything bad to say.
William T. · Pastor · Non-Profit Organization Management · September 20, 2023
Love to used this product tried Vanco not my taste for processing payment but it works and too expensive to used.
Pros: Integration and features added to the app. After getting through the Staff step by step login for the set up.and managing for that was manual for donors that used cash donation. Next was the process of give now for the members and donors giving through the process of their email payments and receipts.
Cons: I have never disliked servant Keeper use it for membership donation only for over 20 years. Now with getting the donors an for me to track is very good for me and the process of income to the church

Overall, I would highly recommend this product. I use it along side QuickBooks for nonprofits and it's really easy to import donation info to Servant Keeper from QuickBooks. It is a great way to keep notes on donors, run reports to find all the donors in a certain geographic location, send year end tax statements. There is almost no limit to the type of donor information you can store and track using Servant Keeper. Customer service has always been super as well.
Pros: Servant Keeper is pretty user friendly and you are able to customize it to fit your particular needs. You are able to change titles of boxes and truly track exactly what you need to track for your non-profit. That part is fantastic. It's easy to import data from other programs which is super helpful.
Cons: all.the.clicking. There is so much mouse clicking when you use this product. It is almost funny how many times you have to click to complete simple tasks. It drives me insane. It could be way more efficient than it is when it come to doing tasks.

We will be exploring forecasting for donor management.
Pros: The product is easy to use and we are able to be proficient very quickly. I have been a user for able even months and continue to learn how to make the most of the features of the software.
Cons: Not sure yet. I am a heavy user of Excel and will be explore how to import data to do donor management analysis.

I don't have much experience with other software products for churches but Servantkeeper has served us really well.
Pros: Very easy to use, manuals are easy to read and for the most part understandable and now that they offer an online giving platform they have all we need in one package. The customer support is Exceptional, the techs are always so helpful and patient, working thru whatever problems we're having or have created.
Cons: There is not one thing that I dislike about servantkeeper. I do dislike the fact that we don't utilize all of the features offered thru the software.
Zandra B. · Office Manager · Religious Institutions · June 19, 2023

I am very happy with Servant Keeper. To be honest, I have not used any other product like this so can not compare, but I am very satisfied with how it works.
Pros: I very much appreciate the ease to use this product, along with the wonderful support they provide.
Cons: I really can't think of anything that I would suggest.
