Overall it has been a positive experience.
Pros: Customer Service when needed. Ease of integration and use for others on the team.
Cons: Some of the menu items can be a little hard to find sometimes.

Pros: The CT team listens to its users! I believe this system is so perfect because not only are the CT team experts and passionate about what they do, they routinely make adjustments that support the end user.
Cons: CT advertises integration with PMM that advertisement I'm sure leaves most feeling like this is an added benefit. Although that is partially true, it's not completely true. Our volunteers pay for their own screening costs. For organizations that have an App pay PMM account, it's not possible to integrate the two. Additionally, if we were to take on the cost of paying for the volunteers, the $19.95 fee that the volunteers pay becomes $26/ volunteer for us - According to the PMM team. I was very disappointed to find this out.

Our experience with Churchteams has been amazing from the start.
Pros: We love Churchteams. It is user friendly. Support is easy to get and they work hard to solve any issues and even make upgrades for things we would like to have.
Cons: Whenever we would like an added feature we let Churchteams know. They have made changes for us and others that are definitely improvements. There are no Cons.

It was seamless to start using and great product discovery.
Pros: It is extremely easy to learn and use. It offers great features and easy to get to know the product.
Cons: The color scheme of the product does not look as nice as others, but the features more than makes up for it.

The support has been excellent. We only use it for our Connect (Small) Groups, but it is the best software we can find for that.
Pros: We want our Connect (Small) Groups to have overseers, and those overseers need to be able to see the Groups meeting reports. We also really appreciate the monthly group report. These tools are extremely useful to us.
Cons: The software could be more visually appealing to the outside user (our congregants looking for a group).

I love the quick response of the team when I have a question/issue. Its a personal feel you don't get with other companies.
Pros: I love how easy it is to use this software. The donors love it and I do too. It makes life easy for reconciliation of the deposits with easy to read and accurate reports. I also like how you can add destinations and turn on/off when needed. Being able to rank destinations is also helpful in keeping important ones on top.
Cons: I would like to have envelope numbers for members to show up on reports. It will be great if this could be added.

Positive
Pros: Ease of use with mobile features. Easy to talk others through using.
Cons: When an individual signs up multiple people it is difficult to separate those individuals for other registrations.

I love the CT team and the way they honestly try to help us do more ministry!
Pros: I love that the team is always willing to help you figure out how to do something if you don't know. If the software can't do it, they take suggestions and implement many of them pretty quickly. I love the CT team!
Cons: The only thing I wish CT would do that they don't do is offer offline options. Meaning there is no local saving of data for when you don't have access to internet. Of course this is not as big of an issue today as it would have been 5-10 years ago, so I recognize this as probably just an outdated mindset.

ChurchTeams is an excellent tool for what we want to accomplish in our community. Bang for buck - this is the one!
Pros: ChurchTeams is packed full of useful tools, excellent group management resources, and a top-notch search ability.
Cons: ChurchTeams is not the most intuitive software to use (think PC vs Mac). It's got SO many hidden resources and tricks - but someone has to be heavily committed to learning to make use of them.
Joshua M. · Discipleship Minister · Religious Institutions · April 26, 2022
Pros: * Pricing based on organizational size * Text-to-Church and related features - the possibilities are endless * Flexibility * Integrated features and add-ons * Setup and customer service are exceptional and friendly!
Cons: * Menus are not especially intuitive, but that is a usual cost of extreme flexibility

Met [SENSITIVE CONTENT] at a conference back in the day and in conversations, I knew this is where we had to go. As a former software developer, I almost felt like Churchteams is what I would have created if I'd made it myself. As a Senior Pastor, I was so happy to introduce it to my staff and the support in conversion and beyond has been amazing. My staff loves it...
Pros: Ease of communication, the group setup and tracking, great cloud based member directory
Cons: I wish there was an app that just put everything at my fingertips with really easy navigation. I don't use it on my phone, only when in the office
Luke S. · Senior Pastor · Religious Institutions · April 22, 2022
Pros: This product allowed us to switch to a church management system with integrated donation management and gave us the freedom to use it in our own way rather than enforcing the tool's idea of how a church should be managed. We don't take attendance and we haven't done any sort of donation tracking (tithes or pledges), just the tracking needed for a donation report for a tax return. It also allowed us to keep our existing website.
Cons: The user interface on the admin side gives you access to all of your data for filtering and sorting but because it is so flexible, it was a bit intimidating for non-technical office staff. This was mitigated by the series of training videos and availability of webinars.

Love this company--so glad that they created this service & they are running it with such great care!
Pros: Churchteams really understands the needs of churches, so their insights open up new vistas of planning, scheduling volunteers, checking in kids, etc. that some smaller churches (like ours) had been doing using a variety of systems. Their customer care is top notch--everyone is super friendly and helpful.
Cons: The downside as someone used to Apple operating systems is that it's not so intuitive, so we've had to watch a lot of the videos and get tech help to figure out how to do the many great things that this service provides. If you're a PC user, it may make more sense to you--I'm just used to dragging stuff on the screen with very intuitive icons, etc. helping guide me along the way. But once you get used to it, it can be great!

Great software, great customer service.
Pros: Church teams has so many features that we use in our ministry.
Cons: I really like all of it. It would be great to have built in financial software like Church Trac has come out with.
Rick M. · Pastor · Religious Institutions · April 19, 2022
Overall I have been very happy with CT. Most of the problems I encounter are people problems, not problems with the software. Your customer service is extremely good.
Pros: I am responsible for all the Accounts Receivable in our Church. CT has made the part of my job very easy. It is very simple to enter information as well as make necessary changes. The end of year giving process is very nice and I particularly love the webinars you have each year to go over that process. It really helps to refresh me on what to do as well as go over any features I might have missed or that are new. The feature that has brought me the most happiness was to add check recording/storage to CT when using a scanner. Thank you for that. I really have benefited from your webinars. Those have been the most helpful tool I have used.
Cons: Other than the Financial permissions, there does not seem to be a lot of difference between the different levels. Having people update their own information has been a challenge. Because they do not understand how databases work they end up changing their contact information when it has not been changed. I also wish it was harder for people to create new records for themselves as a couple instead of an individual. For example: Instead of entering "John Smith" then "Sue Smith" they will enter "John and Sue" as the first name and "Smith" as the last name. Then I have to go in and separate, then merge them. I'm sure this is not specific to CT but to databases in general.
Sue J. · Worship Dept. Admin. Asst. · Religious Institutions · April 19, 2022
Pros: Overall the system has a very complete feature set. Functions that are separate purchases for many competitors are included with ChurchTeams. The builtin mass email and texting combined with the workflow feature makes it easy to maintain communications with members. Some features are additional cost since not every customer will use them but they are a good value. The support is excellent and they are constantly adding new features to keep the system current
Cons: While the end user interface is simple and easy to manage, the admin interface is uneven with some areas that are hard to understand and set up. With a little experience and assistance from support anyone can get over the hurdle, but it makes it difficult to spread the administration load due to the learning curve.
Eric S. · Tech Director · Religious Institutions · April 19, 2022
Absolutely the best group of people to work with. They are friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and patient. They are a true pleasure to interact with .
Pros: I love that features you would expect to be included are - Groups, Events, Registrations, Check-in. The add-ons are very reasonably priced and are worth the cost.
Cons: There are a few areas that are not as intuitive, but the customer support and the knowledge base are exceptional in helping figure things out. Additionally, the ChurchTeams staff are over the top in customer care, helping explain things, working in your timelines, and wanting to improve all the time.
Charlene M. · Assistant Pastor · Non-Profit Organization Management · April 19, 2022
The customer support has been fantastic, all the way back to when it was [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and one programmer. We just rolled out text to registration and the support was fantastic. I asked if he would join our Zoom and he did immediately. He was patient, knowledgable, and helpful. My AV guy now feels much more comfortable with the system overall and we rolled out text to registration last week.
Pros: Ease of use. I'm not a techie and I can generally figure it out. We use our AV guy for the more techie portions.
Cons: can't think of anything. I can't think of anything. I can't think of anything.
Patricia P. · Director of Ministries · Non-Profit Organization Management · April 15, 2022
I have found it a joy to work with Churchteams. They are always willing to take the time to explain how the software works, and they have a reason why it is the way it is that is focused on the heart of shepherding the church. Such a refreshing change!
Pros: My staff has found Churchteams very easy to use and is so much more comfortable with this software compared to our old church management system. Churchteams deals with everything as a group, and it makes it so easy to set up any kind of group. Running reports is also so much less intimidating and the staff is willing to do it after being shown once. That is so freeing for my job!
Cons: Exports to excel are lacking from some views. We can copy and paste the information, but reports do not have an export to excel option, and that is what my staff is already in the habit of using. I have to explain once a week that they can copy and paste the data out of the view they are looking at if they want to edit a spreadsheet.
Arlona S. · Assistant of Media Arts and Technology · Religious Institutions · April 14, 2022
Honestly it has been very positive! The system is easy to learn, is very comprehensive, and is flexible enough to work for our many and varied ministries. The support team is top notch! That is SO important when learning a new software and even with day to day questions and issues. They respond quickly and are available to help in any way. We never felt left out to dry as we learned the software.
Pros: The great Reporting feature is vital to us. The need to extract the needed information whether it be for attendance, small groups, financial, etc. is SO important when ministering to our church family. The reporting is deep and wide...however it is also user friendly.
Cons: The volunteer scheduling feature doesn't exactly fit our needs. However...we do use a part of the volunteer scheduling. Church Teams makes it easy to adapt and adjust our needs with how the software works.
Karen E. · ChMS Administrator · Religious Institutions · April 14, 2022
Very happy.
Pros: This software does all we need. We are more than a church, we are a ministry and have many functions. Churchteams handles all of it well. Income tax receipt giving is a breeze and very easy to use. The customer support is second to none. They are very friendly, answer back in a very timely manner, and are quick to fix all problems encountered.
Cons: Might be a little on the expensive side, but probably not different then other's of the same degree.
Miguel S. · VP Media/IT/Web Development · Non-Profit Organization Management · April 14, 2022
Very positive, helpful software. Quite a bit of work to set everything up on the front end, but works incredibly well and allows for no one to slip through the cracks!
Pros: We love the text to check-in process for our Children's Ministry. Also love how simple it is to set up the workflows and automatically reach out to guests!
Cons: Difficulty migrating all of our info from Fellowship One to Churchteams
Ashley H. · Office Manager · Religious Institutions · April 14, 2022
Among the most frustrating platform I have ever used. As a self-proclaimed "nerd" who enjoys employing tech for efficiency, this product does not come close to meeting my (fairly low) standards.
Pros: It's a simple database system. There is not much more to say about it.
Cons: Incredibly difficult for lay leadership to use; the design for the system is almost archaic for 2022. There should be much easier ways to use the product. Also, the inability to have sub-drop down menus that automatically pop up after a selection from another drop down menu is very frustrating. Many of the things we have needed to use the system for we have had to ask for special help.
Chad H. · Pastor of Worship and Community · Religious Institutions · March 10, 2022
I have necessary info at my fingertips which is helpful.
Pros: Easy to use. Well compiled. Appreciate the info availability.
Cons: Nothing so far other than I can’t figure out how to change my own login info.
