We love it, and it has been a huge improvement from SmartFlow. We know they are actively working on our feature requests and things get done in a timely manner!
Pros: VetRadar has made huge improvements which prompted us to switch over to them. I love that we can customize the names when we have fluids with additives so that we know exactly what goes with what. I also love the change log/tracking abilities within the system without having to call the company to get information on what happened.
Cons: I wish we were able to make out own locations rather than having to call in a ticket for it. I also wish that it worked with ezyVet in the way that SmartFlow did when we change the status of the appointment in ezyVet to 'In Consultation', it would prompt the appointment to automatically send to the electronic treatment sheet for us to select the template and location of where the animal should go. Instead we have to change the status, and then go back in and then send to vet radar.

Pros: Everything for hospitalized patients is in one place. Easy to use. Treatments can be added when doctors are not at the practice. Doctors can review patients' treatment plans throughout the day. Staff can all utilize the program to see what's going on.
Cons: Changes have been made recently that fixed any cons we had.

It's okay overall, I can see how great it could be, I think it will improve over time.
Pros: Easy to see what treatments are due when at least when the software is working. I can see how great this software could be if it worked well consistently.
Cons: Its super frustrating when patients randomly fall off my board even though they are tagged to me and are still in hospital. I have missed treatments this way. It's also annoying when I tag something to me and it refuses to pin to my board. Sometimes things don't show as due unless I go back into the patients sheet instead of just looking at my board.

VetRadar has tremendously elevated our accuracy, record keeping, and time management.
Pros: VetRadar is a huge time saver. The ability to account for inventory, documentation, and record keeping in one place and do all of those tasks at once is extremely helpful.
Cons: One of the features we as a team were most excited about was the clock and backdate function. It used to revert to the exact time (whereas the task was set for the top of the hour) and now it goes back to the hour, making it take longer to keep records due to the poor design of the clock. The function should let you type the time, not click numbers.

Pros: Integration was fairly easy. Easy to navigate.
Cons: I don’t like how it reports back to ezy vet. It seems very disorganized when you look back in the chart.

Vet Radar is a good product, but we have been disappointed with quite a few things. It has not proved as beneficial as we had expected and are questioning if it is truly worth the price at this point.
Pros: The product overall is very user friendly and visually easy to follow. The anesthesia monitoring aspect is a fan favorite.
Cons: There are many feature requests that we have submitted. Not everything writes back into EzyVet where appropriate. We find ourselves having to enter information in two placed as a result, doubling the workload and decreasing efficiency. We are unable to schedule repeating treatments in a way that works with our hospital hours. We are unable to set up an anesthesia patient in advance (ie the night before). The final PDF of Vet Radar that comes over to EzyVet is not easy to read or follow. It would be much better if it came over with the appearance it has while in Vet Radar.

Pros: The seamless relay of data between Vet Radar and EzyVet is a major improvement over other software such as Smartflow
Cons: The price. Vet Radar is significantly more expensive than a software such as Smartflow which has been around longer and is more customizable. This was more of a sore spot when Vet Radar first launched and was more like a beta version but functionable. However it has not taken long for the Vet Radar team to roll out updates that greatly improved the software.

Pros: Fairly easy to use and implement. People seemed to pick up on it quickly. Creating templates and such was pretty easy.
Cons: There is no offline work mode. The glitches regarding rescheduling/timing/deleting things as mentioned on the previous page.
