Overall I enjoy my experience with Practice Better, and would recommend it to others who do not use this software in their practice.
Pros: Practice Better is a fantastic software that I use in my practice regularly. From booking patients, to analyzing their test results and scheduling appointments, Practice Better is very straightforward to use.
Cons: It takes some time to learning the software, also the price per month can be a little more affordable.

Overall this platform serves about 85-90% of my needs, and as I work through school and move towards a counselling practice, I’m sure it’ll continue. As well, they’re always improving the platform so I see no reason not to stick around for the long haul!
Pros: It’s a super easy tool for managing both my consistent clients, as well as the events that I run throughout the year. I like being able to have programs created in the account as well, and it links nicely to my email manager.
Cons: As much of what I do is personal training, the workout tracking abilities could be improved a bit. The lack of customization for journals, which clients could potentially track their workouts in, is also slightly annoying.

It has been a game changer in my Holistic Health practice. Makes administrative work less daunting and having everything in one place for back-end but also client facing is so helpful. Easy integration to other websites and platforms and love the set up for notes and protocols.
Pros: I love the accessibility for clients to see their protocols, notes and upload medical files easily. Links and booking is simple and straightforward. Options for programs vs sessions is extremely helpful. Affordable and lots of support from the company to troubleshoot.
Cons: Adding colour ‘changes’ or a $ sign to the calender for clients who’ve paid for their session. Sometimes losing voice connection or video for clients using their phone on a web browser esp for first time clients.

Good and valuable tool for every wellness practitioner. Starting using PB with using Basic Info, then scheduling, then notes allow for great learning curve :)
Pros: It is easy to use + everything under one umbrella + adding new features as we make suggestions + great customer service team when we have questions
Cons: Invoicing module - cumbersome to use when have lots of different inventory items and it takes a long time + cannot offer discount on certain products and NOT on consultations + getting bit pricey with all the increases in last almost 6 years

I really like Practice Better. Other software just didn't have enough features for me to keep my Lactation & Infant Feeding practice organized and seamless.
Pros: I love that the platform has everything I need in one place: Booking, invoicing, charting, online course building and secure messaging with my clients. When I need to learn how to use something in the platform, the easy-to-follow instructions and videos are very helpful!
Cons: I just wish we had gift certificate options. I would love to have an easier way to do this rather than creating coupon codes.

Positive, but costs and payments are getting high for my small practice of one person. I am happy with it with some caveats
Pros: I appreciate how everything is laid out and having an EMR for my private practice. Ease of use on my end
Cons: Switching of the payments. I want everything to be in Square and do not want to be charged more for using it. I also think that the pricing is getting too expensive for my small practice of 1 person

I've only been using it for about 10 days and am still in the set up stage but the email prompts and the ease of getting answers to problems are very helpful.
Pros: It is very easy to use with a bit of a lesson which Practice Better offers and provides on a daily basis to ensure the users receive the most from their product. I have a problem with the site and I was able to set up an appointment with the team the very next day to resolve it. The customer service is great and the price is very reasonable.
Cons: Initially the system is a bit complicated but with a little bit of instruction which is easy to find, the problems are easily dealt with.

It was good, I used minimal features and don't take insurance so can't comment on that. The program was more than I needed and switched after 2 years of using PB.
Pros: -Ability to customize templates -Run reports for billing and outstanding balances -Appointment reminders -Telehealth
Cons: -I get a notification at least once per month about some sort of 'glitch'. -The cost is not cost effective for small practices with less than 200 active clients (in my opinion)

It's been a few years now working daily with Practice Better and I can't imagine practicing without this powerful platform. I can also build packages, programs. It's also secure and confidential which is a must of course for my naturopathic practice.
Pros: It was worth taking the time to implement the different features in Practice Better. It makes onboarding new clients really easy. Most tools I need daily in my practice are there. No need for an extra booking app, an invoicing software. I manage appointments, reminders, invoices all in one place. Their templates are really helpful too.
Cons: I'd like to be able to build capture pages, landing pages. Unfortunately not available at this time.

I have been using PB for just about 3 years. I am still learning how to use some of its features. I really like how you can be seeing clients virtually or in person and using parts of the application you need to manage appointments, billing and notes , really quickly and take your time to learn about many of its other more complex features.
Pros: so many things! how easy it is to set up clients, the food journal capacity how it integrates with your website to offer programs, to have prospect clients reach out to you how easy it is to book appointments , update change appointments that it is HIPPA compliant how you can share your notes or parts of notes with clients how you can easily see your clients recent activity how you can create programs and include video links,
Cons: that it does not yet have access to growth curves for children over the age of two that the price is going up, significantly . the step up to adding more team members is much steeper than some of the other EMRs

Pros: integration with fullscript for easy sending of protocols. easy to use. forms builder is great. love that you can store payment on file.
Cons: needs to integrate with LABCORP and QUEST. needs e-prescribing capability. make the settings easier to set a default for ALL practitioners vs having to go in and make individual changes for each person. when a new practitioner is added it is a nightmare trying to ensure everyone's settings and automations are where they should be and things often get missed because of this. too many places to check and change settings. would also be nice to have a MASTER CALENDAR to see ALL appointments vs having to switch between each provider.

As a board-certified lifestyle and functional medicine coach, I rely heavily on efficient client management software. I’ve used other apps that I really liked, but Practice Better came highly recommended for functional medicine practices due to its built-in forms. Unfortunately, my experience has been the worst I’ve encountered in this field. Over the past three months, I’ve been stuck in a frustrating cycle of trying to address a basic issue with logging client calls. Despite numerous attempts to reach customer support, each response takes a day or more, and solutions have been either incomplete or ineffective. When I tried scheduling a support call, I was given a two-week waiting time—a completely unreasonable delay for anyone needing timely solutions in a fast-paced practice. I even closed my account and reopened a new one, hoping to resolve the issue, but the same problems persist.
Pros: Convenient forms for functional medicine practices (though I couldn’t effectively use them)
Cons: Poor customer service with consistently delayed responses Long wait times for support calls (up to two weeks) Recurrent issues remain unresolved despite multiple attempts

I am delighted that I chose to use Practice Better fairly early in my journey in Nutritional Therapy. It has certainly saved me much time and money.
Pros: Practice Better helps me to streamline my clinical practice. Using one tool for scheduling appointments, messaging, keeping client records and invoicing has saved me much time and money over the years.
Cons: I would love for there to be an easier way to share administrative capability with my VA. The price could be more competitive.

So easy to use, especially as a brand new provider. I have over the years started using more and more features. At first I just wanted to schedule and write notes, slowly moved up to protocols and integrating forms. Now I track labs and upload documents to save space on my computer, as well as to protect my files.
Pros: Practice Better is easy for my clients to use. All ages can easily confirm appointments, chat on messenger, and use the food journaling tool. On my end as the practitioner, I stay organized with saving notes and protocols. Everything is in the same place!
Cons: There are limited ways to keep track of labs as well as to integrate form mapping. I would enjoy more fillable options for blood work (for example: B12) and a way to pull a Report showing labs tracked over a period of time. Form mapping could be improved by the ability for the user to add custom landing pages for data.

Cons: I can't generate ANXx12 files to do batch claims on availity unfortunately. Also wish I could sell products without having someone turn into a client Or have a separate section for like customer purchases that are NOT clients.

My clients and I have found Practice Better to be a good over-all experience.
Pros: The HIPPA compliant platform, customizable templates for forms and having all documents in one place that both my clients and I can easily access is a win - win for myself and my clients.
Cons: The upgrades required to have email automation, courses and branding can be challenging financially when starting up a new business.

Cons: There was a time when I was considering leaving Practice Better because they had a rather awkward program hosting platform. When I tried to use it, I found my clients were confused and didn't have a good experience. They have since fixed that and have made a few more adjustments to the software in general that allow my clients to have a better user experience. I like when things are really intuitive not only for me to use but especially for my clients. If anything I would like to see some more developments in this area. I also wish they had messaging templates for communicating with clients because a lot of the time especially in the onboarding process messages are quite repetitive. Otherwise I'm quite happy with the software.

I find the platform very easy to use, and I will continue to use it for the time being, however I do wish the Programs function will eventually be able to host group telehealth within the platform itself, eliminating the need to subscribe to an external video conferencing software such as Zoom.
Pros: User friendly for both patient and practitioner. Food journal and instant messaging functions are excellent, easy ways to give clients feedback and communicate with them between consultations.
Cons: VERY pricey for what it offers. There are some great features, but not all of these are essential. There are other platforms which offer the basic features needed to run a successful practice which are more affordable. It would be good of there was a way to do group teleconferencing for group programs, which at the moment is not something accessible in the Programs part of the platform.

Pros: I like that I am able to easily write in my client notes after a session. I also like that I was able to insert my pre-built template for my notes that I can click and it already has all the information I need for documentation. The messaging with my clients is simple as well and I love that it's all HIPAA compliant.
Cons: It can be really tricky to set up some things within the system. Somethings are easier than others to figure out.

Pros: It helps automating scheduling and client management. Saving me much needed time.
Cons: Sometimes customer service can be slow to response, since you have to submit a ticket and cannot get an immediate answer when needed
