Acuity Scheduling

Pros: The ability to customize products, services, and schedules for your business with ease. Payments are quickly processed and easily withdrawn.

Cons: That it doesn’t offer enough customization for the scheduling interface. It is very simple, but could easily attract more customers with more customization.

Pros: My favorite feature is that I can set specific appointment times on my availability calendar such as 10a, 1pm, 3:30p . I love that it’s all inclusive . All the features are included in the plan. I can add forms , deposit requests and payment processing at no additional fee. It was also easy to sync my calendar . I never experienced any bugs or operating issues .

Cons: I would like to be able to run more detailed reports. I would also like the option for Acuity to market my business for me. Also quicker customer support would be helpful.

Pros: The ability to schedule appointments within a set of pre-set time options, offering multiple appointment types, customizable question section to assist with appointments

Cons: Acuity Scheduling is no longer a stand alone product that you can use. It is now inaccessible without a paid square space account.

Pros: Acuity served me well for several years. It saved time scheduling and gave a professional look to my work while keep all parties informed

Cons: It was fine until I wanted to integrate it i to a new web design. The cost and integration became an issue

Pros: I like that this in integrated with sqaurespace. The interface is great and perfect to have on site booking without needing another program.

Cons: I didnt like how expensive it was even tho its merged with squarespace. It was just too expensive for the fact that you have to pau for squarespace already.

Pros: Once it’s set up, it is very easy for customers to use. It’s possible to integrate into your own website.

Cons: When I was using it, there was no customer service to call if you were unsure of how to set up a specific if/then. I had to rely on other customers to figure things out.

Pros: Simplicity of use and clarity of purpose. This is by far one of the best scheduling tools out there!

Cons: Nothing in particular, maybe that it's been too american focused, but that isn't something too big of a problem

Pros: The automation. Confirmation emails, reminders, follow-ups — all handled without us lifting a finger. Clients book directly from our availability, payments can be collected upfront, and intake forms are built right into the booking flow. It replaced three separate tools for us.

Cons: The interface feels dated compared to newer competitors. Customizing the booking page beyond the basics requires more effort than it should. And if you have a more complex multi-staff setup, the logic around calendar management can get confusing quickly.

Pros: What I like most about Acuity Scheduling is how simple it makes booking and managing appointments. I love that clients can book themselves online, it automatically adjusts for time zones, and it sends reminders, which saves me so much time and reduces no-shows

Cons: What I liked least about Acuity Scheduling is that some of the more advanced features, like reporting or customizations, can be a bit tricky to set up. It sometimes feels a little limited unless you’re on the higher-tier plan.

Pros: I like that you are able to track if the recipient of an email read the email. That way I know that emails I am sending out are being read.

Cons: I do not like that you can not book more than one service at a time. It makes it harder for me because I have to create a whole bunch of add on services or create new services.

Pros: Acuity Scheduling made it easy to set up and integrate my calendar to reduce the risk of booking conflicts, improve booking notifications, and integrate the product into my website.

Cons: The cost of Acuity scheduling to access all premium features is high compared to alternatives for small businesses and small non-profits.

Pros: I really valued the convenience of it being on my website and the integration with my calendar and squarespace.

Cons: I rarely had people use the scheduling tool unfortunately and the integration on my website didn't work perfectly all the time.

Pros: L’interfaccia è semplice e permette di gestire appuntamenti e orari in modo chiaro. Ho apprezzato la facilità con cui si possono vedere le disponibilità.

Cons: Alcune funzioni richiedono un attimo per essere capite e il sistema potrebbe essere un po’ più intuitivo in certe sezioni.

Pros: You can set availability, buffers, intake forms, and automated reminders, which makes everything feel organized and professional. The automatic confirmations and reminder emails were especially helpful for reducing no shows.

Cons: The setup can feel a little confusing at first, especially when you’re configuring different appointment types or setting rules around availability. Some of the more advanced features are not immediately intuitive.

Pros: I love that I can easily create and manage custom calendar booking links for my different offers - free and paid. I am able to include all my onboarding documentation when a client signs up. I can take payments on booking without having to raise a separate invoice.

Cons: For a solopreneur, its a relatively high monthly fee compared to some other offerings, but they don't have the same level of functionality, so it evens out. Also for some inexplicable reason, it keeps disconnecting from my zoom - which is frustrating.

Pros: Product is awesome and relatively easy to use. love how many automations I can send for reminders to clients and for follow ups about re-booking and leaving reviews, etc. The payment integrations is also awesome too!

Cons: I don’t like that they don’t have an HST addition option built in to client receipts. It really makes my accounting messy and occasionally I consider changing software for this reason only. I als wish that it connected directly to square so I don’t have to switch between apps. Would be really awesome if EMT was an option for payment as well.

Pros: Very convenient to use for both myself and my mentees who are scheduling calls with me for the Modern Classrooms Project.

Cons: It took some time initially to sync calendars and change time zones, but the fact that it was possible to use different time zones was helpful.

Pros: Acuity Scheduling makes booking appointments feel effortless—for me and for my clients. The automated reminders alone are lifesavers. I love how customizable everything is—from intake forms to availability settings—so it actually fits my workflow instead of forcing me to adjust to it. Payment integrations are smooth, the calendar sync works like a charm, and the client experience looks polished and professional. It’s basically like having a virtual assistant who never sleeps.

Cons: There’s a small learning curve when you first dive into all the customization options.Once everything is set up, it runs beautifully. I wouldn’t mind even more built-in design templates, but that’s more of a wishlist item than a complaint.

Pros: Good personalization functions for what I need for my scheduling. I like that I can both have people sign up or I can plug in appointments myself.

Cons: It took a bit to get used to- not as user friendly as others I've used but it also had more capabilities.

Pros: I like the ease of usage the app provides. The tool is budget friendly for people that is starting there business and need some type of organizing.

Cons: I not to fun of how the revenue tab is setup. It should be more user friendly for someone to understand.

Pros: I liked the look and aesthetic of this software. It has a sleek, modern and clean feel to it, which is what attracted me to it.

Cons: While this software looks upscale, that is the only thing really going for it. The scheduling features seem to constantly have issues staying scheduled and/or notifying of appointments.

Pros: What I like about Acuity Scheduling the most is that it integrates seemingly with other platforms that I use everyday, such as Google suite, and Outlook. it also allows me to create meeting links on Google Meets too which makes the integration so useful! I mainly use the tool to schedule calls and tech consultations with clients.

Cons: What I like least about Acuity Scheduling is that there is very little customization available. Customizations require CSS/HTML, which non-tech savy users may find inconvenient or difficult to implement changes with. I also find the mobile app isn't as fast as the desktop version too, at least on Android.
