Nookal

Pros: The transition to Nookal has been easy for our company due to its easy to read format, ability to create templates applicable to our setting and clear headings for ease of access when locating appropriate information. I also like the range of colours, ability to see my own and co-workers schedules. Creating a customisable templates for notes that suits our setting has been a big plus as tick boxes etc have made it easier to time manage notes as a clinician. Invoicing and payments are quick and efficient.

Cons: A feature I would like to see Nookal have is ability to attach written or scanned documents to templated online notes. This means notes are kept with the same date and is handy for auditing purposes. When creating a series of appointments if you need to amend or change you need to change the appointments individually. Scheduling has been more difficult.

Pros: Colour coding appointments. Fairly self explanatory most of the time.

Cons: When there is a clinic note in the wrong case file, the process to change it to another case is a pain.

Pros: I am not exactly a computer proficient so I love how easy Nookal is to use. It saves so much clutter as well with all letters, scans, body charts etc at my fingertips.

Cons: In my previous place of practice the templates were set up by the team leader and it was time consuming to get them to return to adjust the parameters.

Pros: Having multiple locations and practitioners is an incredible feature of this software

Cons: At times certain elements glitch e.g. creating and moving notes

Pros: Enjoy the ability to use across multiple devices Ease of communication w other users Graphics are nice

Cons: The design of nookal is easy to use and looks nice, no cons to report

Pros: Nookal has lots of features and options, it has a very nice interactive layout

Cons: Would like more email notification options

Pros: I really enjoyed the ability to be creative with Nookal and colour code tasks, appointments, notes, which has made my organisational skills enhance. I enjoy access to all documents and nookal notes and features such as pinning clinical notes, copy templates across and hide unwanted notes.

Cons: Difficulty move one note/appointment and drag it to another day in the week. I often have to delete that appointment or note and re-enter it in a different time slot or day.

Pros: Easy to use, easy functionality so can train staff quickly

Cons: Medical reports could be easier to use and more flexibility

Pros: It is very easy to use and reasonably 'idiot-proof'. New staff are quickly able to navigate their way around. It has good integrations with other software platforms.

Cons: Some of the reporting could be improved to be able to customise the output of information to what I want to monitor as a business owner

Pros: The setup checklist made it very straightforward for a new user and the software is intuitive. It has all the functions I was looking for that other software was lacking.

Cons: No software is perfect and the DIY import could be improved, as not all patient details can be improved so you have to manually edit each one anyway. Though they will do this for you for a fee, if you have time to wait.

Pros: value for money, good for small business

Cons: Not very user friendly compare to those expensive dental management softwares. But the price is only half or less.

Pros: Ease of use and sense of humor with developers

Cons: Having trouble loading the diary page to fit within the parameters of smart phone screen. If I wish to log into the diary while out shopping and I see one of my patients that wants an appointment it would be good if the dairy page loaded to fit visually within the frame of a smart phone.

Pros: The ability to easily book patients and create a unique schedule and patient forms

Cons: That cases have to be merged a lot and online bookings can create a new account

Pros: Easy to use, practical, gets the job dine

Cons: Cost, sometimes difficult to navigate between sections

Pros: Ease of use Easy to customise Help desk was great on the couple of times I had to use it

Cons: Would like to see notification to clients if running late

Cons: Needs better interface for iOS as being cloud I want to use from my phone at time. Also printing big with ios

Pros: I am not IT savvy at all, but I manage to do all I need to with Nookal, to reduce my admin load and streamline some processes for me. Its very easy and logical to follow, with all the essential features for a small psychology practices. There's been a few times Ive need support, and Nookal have always been responsive and helpful

Cons: Perhaps more specialised templates inbuilt

Pros: Ease of use for small practice is great. Mobile app is great for quick diary checks. Like that it sends automatic reminders to patients.

Cons: Need face recognition for mobile app. Need automated Covid Questionnaire Client Form. I have to send this manually each day.

Pros: Nookal is extremely easy to learn and use even if you are not very tech savvy. The accessibility to add new clients and change or input information is high.

Cons: The inability to lock certain case notes, rather than having to just lock a whole worker.

Pros: Happy Steps is a fairly new Allied Health company. Going back to how you first started your journey for your company, it can be quite daunting to set up. We love how user friendly Nookal was, guiding us through our set up, with cute jellybean mascots which is a bonus! We also absolutely love the seamless integration of Nookal with other softwares e.g. Medicare/DVA, private health insurances via Hicaps Go & Medipass, Physitrack; invoicing templates; integration of outcome measures & online booking button link.

Cons: Nookal's calendar was slightly confusing for us to try to grasp initially with 2 users on setting up available time slots vs , however we managed to overcome this with the help guide on Nookal set up page.

Pros: I find the scheduling, planning and invoicing

Cons: I wish there was functionality to book two practitioners to an appointment I wish there was capacity to limit booking to line items only that have budget allocated

Pros: Extremely easy to learn and use - very intuitive

Cons: Modifying the dashboard to a more custom level and the mobile app is a little clunky
