I used Fusion for probably a little longer than 2 years and decided to switch to another platform/system due to the Cons I mentioned above. Fusion saved time and did help streamline my work process, especially with session notes, billing, and client management. But these are what other providers offer, at a cheaper price as well!
Pros: The templates they provide by default come handy for users, especially the small business owners in medical/healthcare industry. The feature of "Pull Forward" of the previous note is my favorite and that is very helpful to make documentation and paperwork easy peace-y!
Cons: The value for money may not justify if you only have less than 10 users. Customer support is not real time. Basically, everything will be routed to either online "library" -- FAQs or an AI. Difficult to have individualized support when you need one. When departing from Fusion, there is actually a binding contract to limit how far ahead i.e., at least 3 or 6 months that you need to notify them or you cannot end the subscription. Read all those small prints carefully! The data export is a pain for me, given how badly they handled the exit of a client.

Overall, our experience with Fusion has been really positive. It’s become part of our everyday routine at the clinic. From the moment a family completes intake to documenting sessions and handling billing, everything flows through one system, which makes our work feel more connected and organized. As a pediatric therapy center, accuracy really matters to us both for our kids and for compliance and Fusion helps us stay on top of that. Once our team got past the initial learning curve, we started to see how much smoother our days became. It’s not perfect, but it’s dependable, and we’ve seen steady improvements and updates over time, which we appreciate.

Pros: There’s definitely a bit of an adjustment period, especially for new team members who haven’t worked with an EHR before. When we first started, it felt a little overwhelming just because there are so many features. Some tools seem geared toward bigger organizations, so we had to spend some time figuring out what actually fit our clinic’s day-to-day workflow. The reporting side can also take a little tweaking to get the exact data we’re looking for. It’s nothing major, but it does require some patience while you’re getting comfortable with the system.
Cons: When we first started using Fusion, it honestly felt like a lot to take in. There are so many features, and for new staff who’ve never used an EHR before, it can be a bit overwhelming at first. We definitely had to spend some time clicking around and figuring out what really fit our day-to-day workflow. Some parts feel designed for much larger clinics, so we had to adjust things to make it work for us. Even the reports sometimes need a little trial and error to get exactly what we need. It’s not a huge issue, but it does take some patience while you’re getting used to everything.

.
Cons: This was hands down the worst billing experience I have ever had. I absolutely do NOT recommend ENSORA to anyone. Their billing team charged me for multiple months despite providing no services at all. I repeatedly tried to resolve this issue, but nothing was fixed. To make matters worse, the manager, [sensitive content hidden] , was completely unresponsive and ignored my concerns. This company showed zero accountability or professionalism. Save yourself the frustration and do not use this service.

I love Fusion. It is so easy to use and well organized. The documentation layout as well as client chart layout is so easy to navigate.
Pros: Fusion is really easy to navigate and offers so many different features that make documentation and EMR so easy to use. It’s very well organized.
Cons: I wish there was a way to “lock” case notes so others cannot delete or alter a person’s note. I also wish there was differentiation in an appt list between make up and regular appts. A “late cancel” option would be nice as well.

Overall, the software has worked, though it hasn't really been updated in 10 years. The reason I would never recommend it is how terrible the company is. Stay away.
Pros: First off, you need to know that this product was originally Fusion Web Clinic. We started using it 9 years ago when it was the original company, which was great. They sold the software around 2021 and it's since gone WAY down hill. Originally, Fusion was the most advanced and easy to use emr for slps available.
Cons: ZERO, and I mean ZERO, customer support. Again, under the original company, support was great. Once the terrible private equity company bought the platform, all they cared about was selling other products and services.

It was very difficult to set up, but now I am happy with the features it provides.
Pros: Counting # of visits when tracking authorizations, roll forward on daily notes to make documenting quicker, physician contact log, easy to fax docs to physicians to keep updated.
Cons: Inability to populate and charge no show fees from calendar view, full user charge for admin staff
Kenedi G. · owner · Health, Wellness and Fitness · April 23, 2025
Overall, I very much like Fusion Web Clinic. My experience has been generally positive and I've found support to be pretty good. Occasionally support doesn't get back as fast as I need them to, but for the most part, they do very well.
Pros: Things I like most about Fusion: 1) the ease of scheduling; 2) you can create reports; 3) reconciliation is pretty clear cut
Cons: Inability to create/modify rules; The fact that reports created under Insights New do not reflect immediately reflect data changes -- it takes 24 hours! That is simply NOT feasible in the work environment. Inability to share Legacy Reports; While I really like the versatility in designing Insight New Reports, I really wish Insights Legacy had more versatility for designing reports. The inability to share those Legacy reports is problematic in that maybe I only want to share a couple of reports and the others are just for Admin levels and not for everyone else.

Fusion has been so easy to learn. It is great to have all therapy documents in one place.
Pros: How user friendly it is. It is very easy to navigate. I like that you can send reports through Fusion.
Cons: I don't have any complaints. I think Fusion is great.
Kristen L. · Speech Pathologist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · March 25, 2025
I have enjoyed using fusion for my business
Pros: It is easy to use and I'm able to do everything I need.
Cons: I it hard to get communication and help from the support team.
Christina B. · Owner and therapist · Medical Practice · March 21, 2025
Overall I really enjoy Fusion and would recommend it to other providers. This is the system that I was first trained on as a pediatric practitioner and I felt that it was very easy to learn and helped me develop my notes further.
Pros: I like... - that it is very user friendly. Making it easy to learn and easy to use as a provider. - I like that as a provider you have the ability to access multiple areas of Fusion but that it also can be limited to only having to needed information and areas.
Cons: - I feel like there are frequently issues causing Fusion to be slow or unable to be used for prolonged periods of time. - I wish that the ability to use Fusion on mobile devices was more user friendly. It is very hard for me to access Fusion on my phone at home and I am unable to look at multiple schedules at a time.
Victoria B. · Pediatric therapy · Hospital & Health Care · March 19, 2025
Very positive. We get the answers we need.
Pros: They have added some new features like searching by phone number or DOB instead of by name so the improvements make this program great.
Cons: There are a few options I wish would be added to Fusion such as being able to pull a report based on therapist caseload.
Morgen S. · front office manager · Medical Practice · March 5, 2025
My overall experience has been great! I run a small private practice and this has made patient documentation as seamless as possible.
Pros: The user-friendly platform that it provides, making the note taking and documentation process seamless.
Cons: The inability to change the evaluation portion of the evaluations.
Lorin B. · Occupational Therapist · Medical Practice · March 5, 2025
I love all the learning tabs and features overall. Able to communicate and write documentation w/ good flow.
Pros: Very easy to set tasks and reminders as well as communicating through messages.
Cons: When you delete a message, it is deleted forever.
Brooke R. · PTA · Medical Practice · March 5, 2025
Easiest documentation system I’ve ever used!
Pros: Accessibility, ease of use, easy schedule updates.
Cons: When clicking on patients to check them in, sometimes it does not pull up the right patient. Other than that, it’s great.
Carly W. · Occupational Therapy Assistant, Licensed · Hospital & Health Care · March 4, 2025
I think overall fusion is a great program, allowing clinicians to be as flexible as they would like with documentation.
Pros: I like most the flexibility of the program. I like that I am able to add/remove as much as I would like.
Cons: I don't like that when I hover over some of the goals to see the progress that it does not show me the information/data from that date. Fusion used to allow me to do this if I clicked on the date when previewing the goal data, however, in the most recent update this was taken away. I also wish I could check in my own patients and see my co-workers schedules.
Marina G. · Occupational Therapist · Medical Practice · March 4, 2025
I was happy using the software, It really an user friendly and the shortcut ways makes more time saving.
Pros: Very User friendly and easily navigable software.
Cons: If the software has option to create a PR invoices through Fusion could be more easy to do invoices
Muthuselvam S. · AR Analyst · Mental Health Care · March 4, 2025
Our experience has plummeted in the last 6 months.
Pros: Having everything in one location is very helpful.
Cons: The billing division of Fusion is untrustworthy and drains funds from clinics with minimal explanation "you signed the contract" on repeat. During a zoom meeting with 5 Fusion employees, one employee grinned and smirked the entire meeting as we attempted to have a professional discussion. They drained close to 14,000 dollars from our account for "attempting" to make collections, NOT for actual collections. The majority of the attempts were for claims that had already been paid. They can just sit and click, click, click and gain 8% each time, regardless if the claim is paid. That is NOT what was described to us during our onboarding meetings.
Autumn B. · Owner therapist · Medical Practice · March 4, 2025
Pros: Easy to write notes and check patients in when they arrive.
Cons: You cannot calculate attendance easily on fusion for patients. I find it glitches and it has made me lose entire notes or documents that I've had to start over multiple times.
Kristen R. · occupational therapist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · March 4, 2025
I like the adaptability and ease of use with Fusion. It feels intuitive and easy to understand and I appreciate that so much information can be stored in one place. I find the interface to be very easy to navigate.
Pros: I like that the system is easy to use and things are written in language that is understandable and free of jargon. I appreciate that the documentation, scheduling, and billing is all in one spot.
Cons: I don't like there are separate documents for re-assessments and initial evaluations, as my company does not use them and they seem superfluous. But I'm not sure if it's a feature that can be turned off and we haven't done so yet.
Rachel M. · Pediatric Occupational Therapist · Hospital & Health Care · March 3, 2025
Pros: nothing, it is not a good program, do better
Cons: all of it, it is not user friendly, I have had appointments disappear, it would be nice if it was easier to get to the patients records
Lisa G. · office manager · Medical Devices · March 3, 2025
I have been using Fusion for two years now and highly recommend it. It makes scheduling and documentation easy !
Pros: It is easy to use and understand as a new practitioner!
Cons: Sometimes Fusion crashes and takes several hours to fix. This can be frustrating as it prevents clients from checking into their scheduled appointment.
Emmy L. · Occupational Therapist · Hospital & Health Care · March 3, 2025
Fusion is better suited for practices with clinic locations and front desk staff. We had difficulty completing tasks on the go and did not find the interface to be particularly user-friendly.
Pros: Fusion is optimal for billing with insurance companies.
Cons: As a mobile practice, we were unable to access key charting features on the go which made scheduling and charting quite challenging.
Emily O. · Owner, Occupational Therapist · Hospital & Health Care · March 3, 2025
I was previously documenting through WebPT- fusion is MUCH easier and faster!
Pros: easy to navigate, faster documentation, ability to pull info forward during daily notes
Cons: So far, no cons- I love it! Especially having been using a different platform, fusion is much better in my opinion
Morgan W. · Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant · Hospital & Health Care · March 3, 2025
Fusion is easy to schedule clients, write reports and review file information.
Pros: Great access to review all clients information. It is easy to move from different pages and files.
Cons: Mobile app is not user friendly. It is difficult to move between pages and files. I wish you could import last daily note information to newest IFSP progress notes.
Sheryl B. · Occupational therapist · Medical Practice · March 3, 2025
Like all EMRs it is a necessary evil when dealing with providing therapies.
Pros: It gets the job done and gives a decent summary of our financials.
Cons: That it doesn't sync with Microsoft Office calendars and that it doesn't link with WebABA or WebABA's billing software. It creates an additional nightmare for our office having to run two EMRs and two billing platforms through two different brokerages. It would be best if Fusion would just add in ABA billing. Also, the recent cost increase announced doesn't coincide with any fabulous improvements we have seen on the user side.
