I have had a fair experience with only a little time with it. I will keep using it as long as I own the gym
Pros: I liked that it allowed me to change things with options and having [sensitive content hidden] as customer support was very helpful
Cons: It needs to be more simplified. I found it took me hours to search before buying the customer support service

Easy to use;Haven’t found an error in all my years of using it. Excellent customer service: They are ready to help within a short period of time. Always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Pros: Ease of use. I can track all the important information just as easily as I can find it in detail or aggregate
Cons: I can’t hide accounts that are no longer active. This would minimize my time scrolling as I like to do

It is okay. It is the only system that we have had at the Harbor House. I have not used any other membership software. It does what we need it to do.

Pros: Ease of adding members and tracking their usage. I like the different reports that I can get. It is useful when I need to email the members.
Cons: Lately we have been having trouble with the gym assistant and the gatekeeper not sycing.When that happens, any new members or renewals added- their swipe cards do not work.

Overall, it’s been a positive experience. There have been a few bugs with updates that were frustrating., but support was quick to respond and resolve the issues. In the end, everything worked out and I’m happy with the results.
Pros: We’ve had a great experience with Gym Assistant. The system is very easy to use day-to-day, which makes training staff simple and keeps front desk operations running smoothly. Their customer support is a 10/10. [sensitive content hidden] are quick to respond and always helpful when we need something. The automated billing works reliably and takes a lot off our plate, and the addition of mobile app access and online signups has been a huge upgrade for both us and our members. One of the biggest advantages is the pricing model. Once you purchase it, you’re not locked into ongoing monthly fees unless you choose to add upgraded features.
Cons: It doesn’t have quite as many features as we’d like for more specific use cases. The online signup flow could also be more polished, especially when it comes to offering membership options. Right now, if you want to offer something like a Basic Single Membership with different payment terms (month-to-month, 3-month, 6-month, annual), it will pop up as a different membership option in the same drop down menu. It would be much cleaner to have those options built into a separate dropdown so the signup page doesn’t feel as crowded or repetitive.

We highly value the Gym Assistant program and find it to be an excellent fit for a small to mid-sized fitness center. The system is user-friendly and offers robust functionality to support the wide range of services and programs we provide.
Pros: Value for the money! Easy of use! In addition, their customer and technical support teams are responsive and consistently able to assist us promptly whenever issues arise.
Cons: At this time, we do not have any significant concerns regarding limitations with Gym Assistant. The program is continually evolving, with regular updates and new features that keep pace with the changing needs of the fitness industry.

Pros: Affordable, easy to access support. Meets the needs for my business and tech support is helpful is resolving issues
Cons: Glitches and does not have all the features I would like. Online portal is missing some usable Features which make it difficult for my Members to navigate.

Gym Assistant has been great to work with! Our customer service rep is very knowledgable, and helps us fix any minor confusion or mishaps we have come across.
Pros: Gym Assistant is so easy to use! I am able to teach my employees the system quickly and efficiently. I like how we can make our own notes for our members so that employees can let management know if there is something we need to be aware of.
Cons: The only thing I dislike about Gym Assistant is that you have to go into a separate page to see text messages from a member.

Absolutely love the system, it's that simple. The pay up front and get what you pay for, non subscription base is a great model in comparison to all the other products on the market.
Pros: I like the buy up front systems and hardware, compared to a constant monthly fee. I love the customer service and support we get, great people to work with.
Cons: There has been a couple of request for additional reporting attributes, as well as update Credit Card readers that haven't come to fruition.

Very good. I am satisfied. I sold the gym and working remotely so the reason I am no longer using it is because I do not have a gym.
Pros: Very convenient and easy to use. The set up was easy and even when I needed to change computers, it was very easy transition.
Cons: Having to pay extra for occasional phone support. I think you should offer some level of phone support for the product at least a few times a year without charging.

Good. The employees are helpful. I wish there was an assigned person to me so I didn’t have to teach em about my gym every time we chat to problem solve.
Pros: Now that I know the system, I do like it. I wish I had received better training on it. I don’t think I’m using it to its fullest.
Cons: I’d like it to offer me debt collections option. I want it to collect the past due memberships. I’d like a you tube channel to train me on using it to its fullest. I’d like someone one the EAST coast to be available to call. I can’t always wait on California time. I’d like a conference or convention to learn more tips n techniques about GA and the advantages of using it over other programs.

It’s been great. We have used for almost 20 years, we would have changed at some point if we were not satisfied.
Pros: Ease of use. They continue to make the product better. Making changes as the fitness industry evolves.
Cons: We really don’t have anything we don’t like, however we would like to see Gym assistant be able to integrate with our Stripe billing.

Gym Assistant is a great software for our center. Easy to use and move around to get to different tabs.
Pros: The customer service is great. Easy to use, really like the tabs to navigate around the application.
Cons: It closes out a lot. Freezes up, sometimes we have to restart application in the middle of entering a member.

Pros: client business forms and links easy to access and to share with them. updates have allowed the tabs to be best for all
Cons: not be able to have online payments internationally not being able to hook up a device on site just for clients

Overall, my experience has been fantastic. We’ve have very few issues and any anytime there was it was very quickly handled.
Pros: The software works great and the support team is excellent. I’ve been using the software for 12 years and the consistent upgrades have been fantastic.
Cons: Automated text messages for membership renewals, and reminders would be great. I currently use outside third-party software for texting and emailing but having something integrated similar to EZ text and mail chimp be wonderful or being able to integrate the software

Great people that are always available. I struggle setting up how I wanted everything to work but the ability to call I. and talk to knowledgeable help got be going in no time.
Pros: Great customer support. Good product that works seamlessly. The ability to use good assist with door keeper and Proshop is great
Cons: Little hard to setup without help. Navigating through some of the menus is difficult but with help it went ok.

I had gym assistant for a dozen years. Then opened a bew gym where i tried 3 other platforms and came back to gym assistant. Simple and to the point
Pros: Simplicity. With a variety of employees, the simplicity makes it easy to traon new employees and minimize errors. Also like the flexibility of plans etc. And the low on going costs.
Cons: Remote access although available, tricky. Online access from a website would be nice as i travel a lot.

We have been so happy with the Gym Assistant that we have never shopped around for another software product for our fitness center.
Pros: Technical support is great! Adding new customers is quick! We are a small fitness center with less than 250 active members. We can compete with other fitness centers because GA allows for 24/7 accessibility.
Cons: If it could be accessed remotely from my phone, I haven't found that feature yet. That is mainly because we are open 24 hours a day and sometimes members have not paid their monthly dues and can't get in until the next working day.

Overall, we have really enjoyed Gym Assistant. It has helped us tremendously in starting our business.
Pros: The simplicity of the program. I can easily find reports and information on members quickly and efficiently. Also- the customer service when we do have a problem/question is ALWAYS top notch.
Cons: It doesn’t allow you to add “due dates” to day pass membership options, allowing these members to have access to our facility after their membership has expired. Also: does not automatically send renewal messages to members.

Good, best IT help. The customer service has been amazing. Always deal with same gal and she is very helpful!
Pros: Ease of use. I have used this product for over 15 years. Easy to use and train on. Have taught many front desk people on this platform with ease.
Cons: Limited merchant service choices. For gun software there is a very limited amount of merchant choices and they are very expensive.

Very satisfied with Gym Assistant. We have been using the software at all four locations for more than 10 years now.
Pros: Gym assistant continues to add more helpful elements of the software for our business. It’s nice to have all the elements all connected to each other (door watcher, gate keeper etc.)
Cons: I don’t have any complaints about Gym Assistant. It would be nice to have them continue the smart key options & offer them at a better rate. The rate per smart key is similar to buying physical keys right now.

Hands down the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ALL TIME
Pros: I've had nothing but great success with Gym Assistant. We have been in business for 16 years and have used Gym Assistant the whole time. The [sensitive content hidden] of the company is a straight shooter with nothing but top notch customer service personnel. The integration they have with the door controller system as well as the ease of use with online sign-ups has allowed me more freedom as well as savings every month because of my minimum staff requirements. A huge thank you to Bio-Logic Gym Assistant for all their great help and expertise! A huge part of our mutual success is the personal attention I get from them. I've never had such great customer service from any other company. That is saying something!
Cons: nothing is ever perfect with computers...

So far so good. As you spend more time using and exploring the software it becomes easier to use and discover all the different things you can do with it.
Pros: The software is easy to use and requires minor knowledge on how to use a computer. For the most part it’s easy to figure out on your own.
Cons: Once a member is deleted you can’t reuse that member number.

Gym Assistant has allowed us to take control over what had previously een a cumbersome and difficult membership tracking system.
Pros: Gym Assistant is easy to train people on and quickly picked up by most users.
Cons: There is little to complain about with the gym assistant program.
