My overall experience with Workday was very strong with communication and costumer service, one of the best and over all web-base software.
Pros: I appreciate the service that workday provide to new hires, it is very easy to use for scheduling and for HR communication.
Cons: Workday only had very little interruption, some time the reply lags between new hires and employers, but this is such a small issue, that it can be improved very easy.

My experience has been wonderful with Workday. I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of time clock management.
Pros: Workday is a user friendly, great value platform for scheduling and time clock management that we utilize with ease.
Cons: I have encountered no cons when it comes to Workday. It has simplicity and straightforwardness that our organization greatly appreciates.

Workday HCM is a highly reliable and sophisticated platform that effectively centralizes all HR functions into one clean, modern interface. The Power of One architecture ensures data is always accurate across payroll, time tracking, and employee records, which significantly boosts organizational efficiency. While it is a robust system with a vast array of features, its stability and seamless automation make it an excellent long term solution for managing a global workforce.
Pros: Workday HCM is a powerful, all in one platform that excels at centralizing HR and Document Management into a single, intuitive interface. Its greatest strengths are its high system stability with minimal bugs and a seamless Scheduling and Time Clock feature that simplifies daily operations for employees. While it is a premium investment, the Value for Money is clear through the elimination of disconnected third-party tools and the high level of professional Customer Support provided.
Cons: The main drawbacks of Workday HCM are its steep learning curve and the complexity of its back end configuration, which often requires specialized training or expensive consultants. Additionally, while the platform is powerful, the internal search function can be finicky if you don't know the exact terminology, and creating advanced custom reports can be difficult for non technical users.

Pros: I use this program at work, and it is very easy to use. I like the app and the ability to use the program anywhere.
Cons: From time to time we have problems logging in to the app or on the website and that can complicate things for management.

Pros: What I liked most about Workday HCM is the quality of its centralized data model. In practice, employee information, approvals, org charts, talent data, and reporting are managed in one ecosystem. For example, this makes headcount monitoring, workforce planning, and governance much more reliable than using disconnected systems.
Cons: What I liked least about Workday HCM is that implementation and administration can be demanding. In practice, the platform is powerful, but configuration, change management, and user adoption require strong internal ownership. It can also be expensive for smaller organizations.

My Overall experience with workday HCM is amazing. At HCL Technologies, I worked on Oracle Cloud EPM and if I would compare both Workday is more easy to use and understand than the Oracle Cloud.
Pros: Workday HCM is very useful for accounting and financial management. It helps the accountant in easily identifying the invoices and processing them into Workday means of accounting.
Cons: To be very honest, Everything is fine with this software except affordability. For small businesses, It is very difficult to afford it for their business management. Rest everything is fine with this software.

Workday HCM offers a clean, modern interface and a unified platform for HR, payroll, and talent management, which simplifies many processes. Reporting and analytics are strong, with real-time data that’s useful for decision-making. However, the system can feel complex for new users, and certain workflows require multiple steps that aren’t always intuitive. Configuration flexibility is a plus, but it often requires experienced admins to manage effectively. Performance is generally reliable, though occasional slowdowns occur during peak usage. Overall, it’s a powerful and scalable solution, best suited for organizations willing to invest time in proper setup and training.
Pros: Seamless incorporation of utilization of product features in collaboration with payroll management software makes one-stop access a breeze.
Cons: I have not found anything yet that I am dissatisfied with in workday thus far. Every aspect of this application has been positive.

Overall it's been a good experience, having used it for a couple years now to manage my team and myself reviews, time off, etc.
Pros: I like Workday's layout and design along with its ease of use. The user experience is fairly good with most things being intuitive.
Cons: On occasion it's hard to decipher where to locate something or what a report/functionality is called.

Overall, my experience with Workday HCM has been positive. The platform offers a comprehensive, all-in-one solution for managing HR processes, which makes it convenient to handle everything from employee data to performance tracking in a single place. Its modern interface and self-service features help streamline everyday tasks and improve efficiency for both employees and managers. While there is a bit of a learning curve and some features can feel complex at times, the system’s reliability, real-time data access, and continuous updates make it a strong and effective tool for human capital management.
Pros: What I liked most about Workday HCM is its intuitive, modern interface combined with its all-in-one functionality. The system makes it easy for employees and managers to complete everyday tasks—like requesting time off, updating personal information, or accessing pay details—without needing extensive training. I also appreciated having HR, payroll, recruiting, and performance management all in one place, which streamlines processes and keeps everything consistent. The real-time reporting and analytics are especially valuable, providing quick access to up-to-date data for better decision-making. Overall, its cloud-based design, strong self-service features, and mobile accessibility make it a convenient and efficient solution for managing HR tasks.
Cons: What I liked least about Workday HCM is that, despite its modern design, some features can feel overly complex and unintuitive—especially when navigating deeper workflows or generating more advanced reports. The system’s customization options, while powerful, can also be overwhelming and often require specialized training or support to configure properly. Additionally, response times can occasionally lag, particularly during peak usage, and making small changes isn’t always as straightforward as it should be. Overall, while the platform is robust, there can be a learning curve and occasional inefficiencies that impact the user experience.

Overall, a pleasant experience using workday as an associate and I would like to utilize this system at careers in the future.
Pros: This program is user friendly for both associates and managers. You are able to access your paystubs and pay rate as an associate and process payroll as a manager. HR is able to upload any important documents into a candidate's portal as well as any past work experience/certifications. Lots of organizations utilize Workday and it is seemingly good value. Not many bugs that have been noted. Customer support is helpful when making changes to your personal profile.
Cons: If there is not a stable internet connection, the app can be glitchy at times. When necessary, changes need to be made by an associate such as address or phone number, they have to go through administration which can delay this change from processing immediately.

As a leader within several companies I’ve had the opportunity to use this system and I’m continuing to see improvements
Pros: It’s very user friendly. In addition to time tracking and management, it allows associates to enter their goals.
Cons: Nothing as of yet to determine any opportunity areas. I’m seeing more features are being added that’s beneficial.

OVERALL A GREAT EXPERIENCE. IT DOES MAKE ME UNEASY TO MOVE TO DIFFERENT SIGHTS TO ACCESS SOME OF MY INFORMATION
Pros: WORKDAY IS A PRODUCT THAT IS EASY TO USE AND HAS HR ALL IN ONE PLACE. IT IS EASY TO ACCESS YOUR PAYROLL INFORMATION AND GET ANY DUPLICATE PAYCHECKS YOU MAY NEED.
Cons: THE ONLY CON IS SOMETIMES BECAUSE THERE IS SO MUCH INFORMATION IN ONE PLACE IT IS EASY TO GET LOST. YOU NEED TO FIGURE OUT WHERE THE INFORMATION IS ONCE YOU HAVE MASTERED THAT YOU ARE ALL SET.
RANDY K. · WELDER · Machinery · April 13, 2026
Rewarding, beneficial, user friendly, organized. I really think it has helped me stay on top of my pay and time off, for keeping track of my time available PTO and sick time. My merits and raises. My performance and goal all in one app. I love this.
Pros: $92
Cons: There is not much I do not enjoy about this app. I have not found anything to honestly complain about.
Kerry G. · Patient Account Services Associate · Medical Practice · April 13, 2026
It was ok until I couldn't get the form filled out that I needed and couldn't get live support to get it done.
Pros: How you can see all your check stubs in just a few clicks. That was awesome for me when I needed them.
Cons: I couldn't get HR to get the paper I needed for DWS filled out for insurance purposes and it was a big hassle being sent from HR to insurance them back to HR then to insurance until I finally was forced to quit my job so I could get my state insurance back for the medications I need monthly to be covered.
Shannon S. · Server · Food & Beverages · April 10, 2026
Overall it’s a powerful HR system that solved a lot of our manual problems payroll accuracy improved and reporting became more consistent. But it’s not plug‑and‑play setup and changes take effort and sometimes outside help. Day‑to‑day it works well, but expect a learning period and some patience with the UI and performance.
Pros: Workday is great at keeping all HR stuff in one place payroll, benefits, time tracking, org charts everything syncs so less manual work. Reporting is powerful once you learn it, and security feels strong which is important for employee data. The mobile app is handy for quick approvals and time entries. For large teams it really helps standardize processes.
Cons: It’s kinda slow and clunky sometimes, especially for new users. The learning curve is steep and training takes time. Custom reports and configurations need specialist knowledge or consultants, which adds cost. Some features feel overcomplicated for small teams and there are occasional bugs after updates that need support to fix. Value for money can be questionable if you don’t use all modules.

Overall my experience has been positive. Its a solid all in one HR system that makes managing payroll, time off, and performance much easier. Theres a small learning curve and it can be a bit slow at times but once you get use to it, its reliable and saves a lot of hassle.
Pros: I really like how everything HR related is in one place, like payroll, time off, scheduling and reviews. The interface is clean and modern and reporting tools are powerful once you get the hang of them.
Cons: Sometimes the system feels slow, specially when switching between pages or running reports. Some menus aren't very intuitive at first and occasional small bugs pop up.
Manuel V. · POD Care Coordinator · Health, Wellness and Fitness · April 8, 2026
Pros: Workday is comprehensive, and it unified HCM. and its strong in AI, and strong in workforce planning.
Cons: it's really not user friendly. it's not intuitive, and it's more complex than it should be. simple tasks feel unnecessarily challenging.

kattya b. · personal loan specialist · Consumer Services · April 6, 2026
Pros: Customer support was great, any bugs were fixed quickly. Appealing and user-friendly interface. Intuitive layout.
Cons: In job applications, the applicant must fill out many fields that could be theoretically automatically filled out based on their resume
Anonymous User · Commercial Advisor · Oil & Energy · April 4, 2026
Pros: One of the biggest advantages of Workday HCM is its all-in-one functionality, which consolidates multiple HR processes into a single platform. The reporting and analytics tools are highly customizable and provide valuable insights. Its cloud-based nature ensures real-time updates and accessibility from anywhere. Integration with other systems is generally smooth and efficient. Additionally, it scales well as organizations grow.
Cons: The most significant drawback is the cost, which can be prohibitive for smaller organizations. The system also has a steep learning curve, particularly for administrators managing complex configurations. Some users experience occasional lag or minor bugs, especially after updates. Customization and advanced reporting often require additional training. Finally, implementation can be lengthy and resource-intensive.

Overall workday is very good and easy to use, you find everything you need and it’s easy for someone who is not tech savvy
Pros: What I like about Workday is that it’s easy to move around. You are able to see your paychecks your compensation PTO tax forms
Cons: One thing I like the lease is that they have frequent updates and they do not communicate that so app will be slow
Mayted B. · Medical billing and collector · Hospital & Health Care · April 1, 2026
Pros: no much things, the interface is really out of current standards, needs a refresh and overall needs a revamp of the experience
Cons: the UX is terrible, the interface is really slow, showing empty sections (due to insufficient rights obviously, so why showing it at all, like access to peers' compensations ?!)
Ben Y. · sales · Information Technology and Services · April 1, 2026
Overall the experience with Workday HCM was great! It was very user friendly and a convenient way to track work related information
Pros: Having everything in one place such as: clock-in, pay stubs, hours worked, scheduling, time off requests etc
Cons: I found that from time to time the app would crash, not properly record clock-ins/outs or lunch breaks
Kayla U. · Receptionist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · March 31, 2026
Overall, my experience with Workday HCM has been positive. It’s a reliable and user-friendly system that makes it easier to manage everyday HR tasks. While there are a few areas that could be more streamlined, it generally helps improve efficiency and keeps everything organized in one place.
Pros: I like how easy Workday HCM is to use and navigate. Everything is in one place, which makes managing HR tasks much more convenient. The self-service features and real-time information also help save time and make day-to-day tasks more efficient.
Cons: Sometimes it can be a little difficult to find specific features, especially if you don’t use them often. Certain processes also feel more complicated than they need to be, and reporting can take some time to get used to.
Anonymous User · Mortgage Officer · Financial Services · March 30, 2026
Pros: All the documents are in one spot, employee logs in and sees everything that they need to complete and there is no back and forth with questions
Cons: For contract staff having to change/create a new password for them every time can be annoying for the employee. It is also a big learning curve trying to figure out the system as an employee
