My overall experience is I think this is one if the easiest payroll administrative platforms I have used
Pros: i liked the learning curve, i like that my information is secured, and i can manage my employee records in one place. reporting and processing payments is super easy.
Cons: I think the price might have been my only issue but it is value for money. It's just when you have limited capital to start with it is a little pricy

Pros: I was implementing Employment Hero SSO for one of our clients. Implementation was straightforward, guide sent from their support was really good.
Cons: Since I was configuring Single Sign On to employment Hero there is not much to dislike. I had good experience with this software so far.

Cons: The employee portal appears to be malfunctioning. I submitted a leave request, but am unable to view its progress in the app; it displays only "Pending approval." I can access the details only after the request has been approved. Additionally, when submitting my resume, my work experience is not sorted correctly by year—entries from 2019 appear first, while those from 2025 are placed at the bottom.

Pros: They're continuously updating the platform and adding new features. Can handle a weekly payroll
Cons: Some parts aren't intuitive to use. Other parts, like holiday balances, break easily and can result in lots of time and effort to get right. It doesn't feel quite so robust as other platforms on the market.

We have had a rough few months and have now started on our next chapter. Working with Employment Hero has been great. New system for a new company with a platform that is better for staff and easier for payroll. So glad to have worked with [sensitive content hidden] and the onboarding team.
Pros: The sales & onboarding team have been very supportive. Uploading the data was so easy.
Cons: Finding answers was not always straight forward especially when encountering an error.

I prefer using Employment Hero over our previous HR system due to having more functions available.
Pros: I like being able to have everything related to HR all in one place rather than having to use multiple systems.
Cons: I would like to have some automated functions such as calculating employee leave easier. I do not like how less company perks the site offers.

Overall, Employment Hero is a highly recommended software especially for offices with large employee number. I give it the highest rating possible as it is easy to use. I like the graphics as well.
Pros: As and end-user, Employment Hero is a very useful tool to monitor your details like your salary, leave entitlements, tenure in the company. It’s a breeze in navigating the software as it has features that makes the software user-friendly.
Cons: I cannot see anything that I dislike in Employment Hero. It is easy to use and it takes little effort in navigating through the software.

EmploymentHero has been a noticeable improvement from the start compared to our previous HR system. While it’s still a work in progress, the platform continues to evolve, and the team’s commitment to ongoing enhancements is evident. I am thouroughly enjoying the switch to EH payroll. Doing payroll is a lot more enjoyable, the reports are fantastic, much more detailed than we could get from our previous software, and it gives managers more clarity on what their workers are up to. There are a few glitches every now and then, but the customer service is pretty good, so fixes are provided.
Pros: The reports are great. Once it is set up, the software works really well, and makes payroll much more enjoable to do.
Cons: Some of the small glitches were annoying. Client support are usually pretty good about providing fixes though.

Employment Hero is complicated to establish and takes a lot of time, this was not made clear when the programme was presented initially. While members of the support team are helpful and understanding, they are not available at the outset. The Submit A Request is time consuming and often I don't receive a response to that request for days. There are many times when I have had to chase up my request and keep a track of ticket numbers. The Ask An Expert option has become cumbersome because of the initial AI response - a complicated issue cannot be solved via the AI. We have had issues with the SWAG App e.g., some employee's timesheets populate to EH HR but some only to EH Payroll, it should be consistent.
Pros: The capability of the HR platform for employee management and reports. The comprehensive Payroll platform encompassing all aspects of Payroll relating to employment legislation.
Cons: Complicated to set-up; slow response from support team for issues; constant issues with Payroll; the SWAG App is hit and miss - some employees timesheets populate to EH HR and some do not.

We've been using Employment Hero for over a year now, and as a first-time user of an HR/payroll platform, it's significantly streamlined most of our processes. We also use the payroll platform, which is so nearly seamless, and I have to give a special shout-out to Waseem, who I’m always thrilled to see pop up in the chat help box. He’s incredibly helpful and always goes above and beyond to assist. The Chat BOT has also improved greatly over the past few months and now manages to resolve most issues instantly, which has been a real time-saver. While there are still a few teething issues that Employment Hero is aware of and has included in their product development roadmap, it’s clear they are committed to continuous improvement. The improvements keep coming, and I’m excited to see where the platform will be a year from now. For now, I’ll hold back one star until the remaining niggles are resolved, but this platform is definitely on its way to becoming a 5-star product.
Pros: The improvements continue to come. It has helped us streamline our processes.
Cons: Still a couple of niggles with the integration between HR and Payroll platform. HR document creation needs to be improved to allow us to use the platform in its entirety. Currently we still have to do some documents outside of the system.

Generally the system and team are great, there are some instances when I have needed an urgent reply to an email, but it has taken a couple weeks for a reponse to come through. Both the HR and payroll system are easy to navigate and talk to easy other which is great!
Pros: Easy system to follow and use, we have both payroll and HR
Cons: Sometimes it can take a while for a query to be answered, especially when it's on the day payroll is being processed

i had issues when setting up account and their support staff was awesome. went above and beyond to help me so ive no doubt in the future, they will be a great fit for me and my new company!
Pros: manage employees, new hires, payroll, its a all in one mogule. great customer support. i had to get assistance setting up my account, and they are on point. answered my questions, then some, and sweet people! great service which is hard to find for the money

Good. The support teams work tirelessly to resolve all the issues we encounter with the system. I feel like a valued customer to them.
Pros: A good system for its price range, it significantly automates processes, particularly the connection between HR and Payroll and it is very easy to use At the implementation, the implementation team greatly supported us. Following the implementation, the customer support team and customer experience team always come back promptly. I use the system every day and it reduces the process time a lot. We haven't tried to integrate with other systems yet.
Cons: The only downside is the recruitment module, which I'm not entirely satisfied with. However, developments are progressing steadily, so there's potential for improvement. Worth a try. Some of the associates do not know the system very well and sometimes we receive odd answers.

Employment hero team are always very responsive. Whenever I have a query, it always get answered within a few minutes. The team ensures the ticket stays open until it is resolved - a feature I find very helpful when it comes to payroll processing. Kudos to the team!
Pros: Ease of use, convenience, great user experience, helpful and knowledgeable staff
Cons: Some of user interface can be improved to ensure efficiency in navigating through the payroll platform.

Pros: It's great that new employees can load their details in directly to HR and then it will import to Payroll. Saves manual error.

Simple and easy to use, one stop shop for all your HR and payroll requirements.
Pros: The platform's implementation process was seamless, thanks to the detailed and easy-to-follow step-by-step guides. They covered every aspect clearly and if there was any confusion, the support team was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable during the implementation phase, promptly answering all my questions and ensuring I was never stuck
Cons: There are some doubled up admin features between Payroll and HR. Firstly, An employee doesnt need access to both Payroll and HR platforms to view the same information. Also - when giving access to an employee to the portal it was a bit difficult to understand whether HR side needed to be used or the payroll side to effect the change. Most of the available reports are predefined, and creating custom reports needs alot of manipulation of excel sheets.

Pros: Employment Hero offers a compelling HRIS and ATS solution that balances functionality, user-friendliness, and affordability. Its intuitive interface and robust feature set streamline HR processes. The help center provides valuable resources, and the company’s pre-built templates are handy for internal communications.
Cons: The recent shift towards chatbot support has made direct communication with customer service more complicated and lengthy, and a dedicated email for tech support is still the way to go if we are to resolve issues that Admins cannot.

Overall, as per the the title, EH is comparatively better than other standard HRIS and less clunky. I have used a few other CRMs and HRIS' over the last 8 years and EH has been my favourite. While of course nothing is perfect, EH is also very customer/client-focused and open to feedback, in which I have seen features be changed and updated over the past 7 months since using this HRIS.
Pros: The absolute ease in using the interface. Everything is clearly labelled and even if you land on the wrong page, it is super easy to figure out where to go. But what I truly liked most is having pre-made templates (HR Documents and Policies for AU and NZ) especially as I work across both countries. Not having to reinvent the wheel was incredibly helpful, but they also allow us the freedom to clone and tweak to tailor it for our business.
Cons: Some features I wish had more flexibility, for example, having a track record/history for hours of work (to see a staff's work hour pattern across their tenure), however I have been informed that this may be updated early next year which is fantastic. The cons I have are not dealbreakers, but they're centred around just overall more flexibility with formatting (ability to right click on any hyperlinks or buttons) and improving the document template customisation tool.

Employment Hero is such a vital software for companies to employ due to the feasibility and I also like the playful purple aesthetic of the Software. Feels sophisticated and fun at the same time.
Pros: The interface of Employment Hero is very easy to navigate. Submitting annual leaves to the company I work in through this software is a breeze. Keeping a track of the amount of Leaves I have is very convenient. Additionally I like how it is able to detect which days are considered leave and not. Also I like the ability to see my Pay slips through Employment Hero.
Cons: The company tried implementing employees interaction within this software, however it didn't function that well.
