Overall it is a very good tool and helps us manage our client list better than applied’s older system TAM which we had previously.
Pros: The whole system is incredibly intuitive and data entry and sales tracking is so easy compared to the outdated portal we used before.
Cons: Understanding how to pull reports and how to add in commissions was not as intuitive as the rest of the system

Had there not been the huge E&O hole that EZ refused to acknowledge, I absolutely loved it. It is streamlined and very simple to use.
Pros: The simple, beautiful design. It was VERY easy to see what has happened on a policy, as well as the documentation to support it. There is minimal setup, and it is easy to use right out of the metaphorical box.
Cons: The company was NOT open to suggestion, even things as simple as a TYPO on their policy overview. It wasn't fixed in the 2 years we had EzLynx. The renewal process is AWFUL and there was a HUGE E&O hole that they would not address. Basically, policies were reverting to the pre-renewal info, and just not processing the renewal changes. On commercial auto policies, where vehicles and drivers change all the time, the policy summary was showing things that were not covered, or not showing things that were covered. Policies were never accurate in EZ due to this. We brought it up to them multiple times, and they had no fix for us.

Pros: My favorite things about EZ Lynx are its management system and the text feature. I can text a client and what i send out and their responses are recorded to their account. Great for organization and great for E&O purposes.
Cons: Some features do have a learning curve, but i believe EZ lynx has the training tools to help get over that curve.

As an agent, it is an invaluable time saver to have policy information uploaded from multuple carriers to one place.
Pros: It is browser based so i can log in from any device.
Cons: We have had a few issues with notes disappearing from one client and beimg saved on another. It's impossible to track where they went or when.

initially had high hopes when I purchased the CRM upgrade from Ezlynx, expecting it to enhance my agency’s operations. Unfortunately, I quickly found that Ezlynx did not provide the functionality we needed, leading to inefficiencies and frustration. When I tried to downgrade, I discovered that Ezlynx wouldn’t allow it due to the terms of our contract, leaving me stuck with an unsatisfactory solution. This ultimately pushed me to switch to AgencyZoom, which better met my agency’s requirements and helped streamline our operations.
Pros: I like the AMS functionality and reporting, but that's about it...
Cons: What I liked least about EZLynx was its lack of necessary functionality for my agency, which led to significant inefficiencies and frustration. The third-party integrations also didn’t work well, causing additional problems in our workflow. On top of that, the ease of use and overall user experience left a lot to be desired. When I tried to downgrade due to these issues, I found that EZLynx wouldn’t allow it because of our contract, which made the situation even more challenging. This ultimately pushed me to switch to AgencyZoom, which better met our needs and streamlined our operations.

I wouldn't use Ezlynx if it was free. Half of the companies they do not support and the rest have the wrong prices.
Pros: Not much this system is awful compared to other systems I have used in the past.
Cons: Customer support is horrible and trying to cancel your service is a nightmare.

Support is slow, occurs over email mostly. App commonly has issues when interfacing with Outlook, goes offline more than desirable (not good for an active agency that is constantly in need of documenting activities). Pricing increased 50% in 2023.
Pros: It was a system we knew from prior affiliations. It was as known commodity
Cons: price, service, support, functionality, integration with outside apps (like Outlook), especially for Mac

Over all is was a great tool to have in our agency

customer service team is dishonest, rude and does not have enough product knowledge to solve most issues.
Pros: Rating is great, and the system is cleanly laid out and easy to use.
Cons: extreemly poor integration capabilities.

Cons: The software makes it difficult to rate thru EZrater a particular property when multiple properties are involved. Needed to property address in details tab to be able to rate said property.

EZLynx has been great. They make my job easier
Pros: It has saved me so much time from going into each company and trying it myself, they make it quick and user friendly. They also remember your customers information, so doing requotes takes very little time.
Cons: The only thing this software could use is to have terms available to the customers who fill it out for themselves. Lots of people don't understand what they're looking at.

Pros: Rating engine is decent and rarely goes down.
Cons: Forms cumbersome and take too long to fill out. EZLynx doesn’t integrate easily with other solutions. They claim to have API integration but it’s almost impossible to get support.

I can't function without it literally. It is what I use other than email the most.
Pros: The ease of creating profiles, saving notes, dragging things over.
Cons: Reports can be confusing at times but I have someone in the office that does most running of any I need

I don't see there is a better option for the independent agent at this time. If EZLynx would focus on fixing some of the basic flaws the system would dominate.
Pros: One of the few systems that is a rater and AMS in 1 system. Managing the data we need in multiple systems is an epic waste of time. IMO EZLynx is the best option on the market.
Cons: Report function and CMS are weak. I am not a "report" person but what we have available is subpar. Many of the reports are simply the same garbage report renamed.

Overall, we enjoyed Ezlynx. Would recommend to other agencies.
Pros: I used Ezylnx for 2+ years. Overall, it was a great program. Tutorials were very helpful. Customer service was very helpful. Used for commercial insurance: account management was great, COI's were easy.
Cons: It appeared to be designed to benefit personal lines.

I am able to keep track of x dates, renewals and client documents better than with the other CRM I was using, and having the ability to download from carriers is great.
Pros: I began using EZ Lynx after I outgrew a smaller CRM. I wanted more features specific to the industry and EZ Lynx provided the answer. It has become the industry standard after growing and their recent update outperforms the old standbys. I had to manually transfer my CRM contacts over, but features such as client center have become great additions to making sure my clients can get cards and ID's when they are ready. Overall, I am happy with using this CRM.
Cons: I wish they had a better system to train, the learning curve seems a bit longer than other CRM's, and I wish they had a better way to import from spread sheets.

They have no sense of urgency nor responsibility. Any issue, simple or complex, you are told to email support. Emails are find for simple issues but try to explain a complex problem over email. Support doesn't even use a proper signature for you to reference who you are communicating with; they hide behind emails. Every issues requires multiple explanations and days if not weeks for it to be fixed.
Pros: Easy to use Sales Team is Great Integration with most carriers
Cons: No actual phone support Days to get simple issues fixed Lack of responsibility from the support team.

The 1st and 2nd training call start like this, OK what do you want to learn or focus on? I answered EVERYTHING i need to know how to use the software i need help, You can probably guess what answer you recieve. Online TRAINING VIDEOS YEAH!!!!!!! So in conclusion if you are older than 30 then you probably will have a heck of a time and grow to resent everything about this software. I wish i could go on about this software but I dont know what else it does or doesnt do so good luck in your decision. I hope this helps you make an informed decision and yes i wrote this with an attitude and chip on my shoulder but i did so after 198 days of frustration.

THE SOFTWARE DOES HELP US RATE AMONG MANY COMPANIES QUICKLY.
Pros: EASE OF FUNCTIONALITY IN MOST AREAS BUT THERE ARE CERTAIN AREAS THAT COULD USE IMPROVEMENT. IF YOU SUBMIT TO THE COMPANIES MULTIPLE TIMES THEN YOU GET TO MANY QUOTES IN THE COMPANY SOFTWARE.
Cons: LIKE MOST RATING SOFTWARE THERE ARE MANY ERRORS IN THE FINAL RATES. THE SOFTWARE COULD BE IMPROVED.
