Symantec Endpoint Security

Pros: Very effective at identifying and eliminating malware and viruses on endpoints.

Cons: Since Broadcom takeover very difficult to navigate licensing and admin tasks

Pros: symantec used to protect our data in real time

Cons: in windows we have by default windows defender . its also giving same features

Pros: Able to update the Endpoint without an active internet connection. Comes with lots of features that can be activated/deactivated manually

Cons: False positive. Could be challenging to convince customers to renew license since definitions can be updated without valid license.

Pros: A well-known product with a long running reputation of quality.

Cons: Missed too many obvious security hazards and required secondary software to fill the gaps in its endpoint protection.

Pros: I install and use Symantec Endpoint Security on those computers that become too slow or start crashing when I install other antivirus brands. In fact i have to say that Symantec Endpoint Security does not slow your computer while protecting it and scanning for threats. The interface may look a bit old but it has all the features required, plus it is easy to manage. I use it both on servers and clients.

Cons: Scanning task keep on "amassing" on my desktop, they don't close automatically

Pros: Being able to realize legitimate account names on the system and avoid malicious activities is a major step. The protection technology in place is diverse and trustworthy. Very unique and user friendly too.

Cons: Does not have Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) which is a drawback. It comes at a cost.

Cons: -on prem sep is much more ease to use when compare to cloud

Pros: With this tool, we have the best computer security solution and we protect our systems from data breach thanks to data security features. It also serves as an anti virus and comes with data encryption features too.

Cons: With Symantec Endpoint Security, I have no complaints. It serves us well.

Cons: What i least like is when we want to buy the license, we must buy minimal 10 license

Pros: Endpoint included Liveupdate which allowed realtime updates and management from corporate IT to push updates.

Cons: Tired of being required to disable the program in order to install other programs.

Cons: The application consumes many cpu and memory sometimes, for which the device becomes very slow

Cons: Since bit meets all it was developed for, nothing to register in this section as a con.

Pros: I never liked Symantec once it was purchased by Broadcom. Once that happened, everything changed and time after time I was unable to login to my account. Support was the worst. Nothing was clear at all.

Pros: We bought this for overall security of our PC. With this we can block pendrives from the system automatically. Also we have integrated it with our Juniper Firewall. Everything Is working great as of now
