ActCAD

Pros: It is one of the best CAD solution in the Industry. ActCAD comes with all the latest features & functions which is very helpful for Engineers, designers & draftsman for their day to day engineering activities. The ease of use makes it more user friendly software for cad users.

Cons: Only few minor improvements are required. I hope it will be implemented in future releases.

Pros: I 'am beginner in ActCAD, I discovered great new software, It is very easy to use, Shortcut keys are good,Also ActCAD is very low price as compared to another CAD.

Cons: As of know to the extent I have used this tool I do Not found any cons of using this tool.As it is very cost effective as compared to the functions it provide.In my opinion it is best software .

Pros: The software is working smoothly and quick response from the technical team.

Pros: What I liked most about this product is the affordable price for a high end drafting software.

Cons: One thing is having to remember to deactivate the licence at the workplace office and reactivate at the home office. Suggest having the software recognised the location of the user when logging in and the program automatically deactivates and reactivates between the IP addresses.

Pros: To be perfectly honest, I was looking for an alternative to the extremely expensive standard when the COVID 19 pandemic occurred and we had to cut down on expenses. So, after trying several other CAD programs which simply were too limited or have an unfamiliar format that would require too long to master, I happened on ActCAD almost by accident. To my delight ActCAD turned out to be the perfect alternative in every way.

Cons: Most of what I do is in 3D rendering. The quality of visual renderings displayed on my excellent monitors, especially when transparencies are involved is noticeably grainy in appearance. Also, what I call "anchor points" which would be the reference base point for copying or moving anything usually defaults to some undesired reference. I'd like to know if there's a fix for that. Finally, when executing any command the default position for the keystrokes should be the COMMAND line. It is a nuisance to have to always anchor the command with the cursor.

Pros: It seems a right solution for us since we use actcad for our basic drawings. Mainly add lines to IC package drawings.

Cons: Customer support is very bad. We are using live licenses and I have requests for overall manageability but these requests are still Pending. [sensitive content hidden] If these portions of website is not used, remove them from the site.

Pros: Similar to other products and changing settings was easy. Also some small features that felt nice at first (even though I later turned them off).

Cons: Couple of big bugs and several smaller ones. I paid extra for network license but almost every time (couple of times per week) I switched the computer I had to manually reset the license on the homepage. Also quite often when the Windows was waking up from sleep, the ActCAD thought that there was no internet connection and closed without saving any open work.Another big problem was that sometimes some objects were randomly invisible and therefore also impossible to select. I tried to report that bug but got no response for that.Smaller annoying thins were worst autoregen I've seen in years (even with the best settings the circles most of the times had corners), several commands didn't have midcommand undo and also so slow autosave on a powerful computer that I quite often were wondering why the program doesn't respond.

Pros: very similiar with Autocad. so its easy to use it.

Cons: suddenly its closing. this is big problem.

Pros: Come si aspetterebbe un disegnatore CAD sono presenti tutte le funzioni necessarie sia tramite interfaccia grazica ad icone sia tramite riga di comando.

Cons: Forse si potrebbero migliorare le funzioni che servono per la stampa 3D, come il salvataggio in formato STL, se non addirittura in GCODE, specificando i parametri e le caratteristiche della stampante 3D, integrando magari i motori già esistenti di qualche slicer.

Pros: It consumes morethen less space for drafted drawings and even while installation it space efficient.

Cons: Layouting for frequent tolls must be highlighted on app home desk. I usually use dimension tolls but ether i have to find ftom hidden manu or shortcuts but like othersoftware it could be top on the home screen.

Pros: Icons very similar to AutoCad. Did not take long to get started

Cons: Service seems lacking. Cannot used the program since July 2019 when updating to R20. Service not been helpful to find the issue

Pros: 2d version appear to function as well as ACAD LT and is a great Cad software for the price.

Cons: hard to get authorization codes form this vendor that function. I ended up buying an upgrade when the purchased version crashed since the information provided by ActCad did not allow me to activate the original software.

Pros: Easy to get started from AutoCAd. Difficult modifying some functions to work like used to in AutoCAD.

Cons: Some functions don't work as well as AutoCAD. Difficult and time consuming getting tech support.

Pros: easy to use so can replace AutoCAD on immediate basis

Cons: not seen yet, kept under observation for a next few month

Pros: It is a great autocad replacement if you cannot afford it. It is very similar and I love it’s a one time cost to purchase the software.

Cons: Nothing, I struggled a bit activating it but customer service helped with that.

Pros: easy to use like AutoCAD very fast to be open and close all the function i had in AutoCAD i found back here, so perfect

Cons: just some trouble in the external images management and visualization, which sometime disappeared in the first stage of use of the software (never happened with Autodesk), but then after changing the laptop with a powerful one the issue never happened again

Pros: Interface very similar to Autocad (used before Actcad), very easy transition and file compatibility

Cons: None serious problem, very rarely it "crashes"

Pros: Good performance software. The price is reasonable compared with other CAD software. Good support from the ActCAD India team.

Cons: There are some bugs which they need to work on it. sometimes slow response.

Pros: I am a retired Design engineer Actcad is similar to Acad that I have used in my work before retirement and it was cheap enough to fit my limited budget. This is my hobby -to draw up design and then to fabricate in my shed

Cons: The scaling to print is something I cannot get right which is a great limitation The help does not help most of the time and spend hours figuring out things.
