MicroStation

Pros: I like the software environment of Microstation and the straightforward input of commands without the hassle of being confused with some of its interface. Pull down menus, ribbons and command palettes are easy to use and they are helpful in speeding up drafting works and coordination of drawings are not that difficult.

Cons: Microstation lacks some of the updates that would makes drafting more dynamic when it comes to command generation to provide a quick turnaround. Nowadays, drawing production is critical and I hope Bentley could come up with some innovations that can compete with other drawing softwares.

Pros: Its easy to use as compare to other CAD software.

Cons: The software gets close and does not allow multiple files opening at the same time.

Pros: Like the feature of the referencing (vs. AutoCAD - it is much easier and quicker)

Cons: When referencing AutoCAD files (what we need quite often) - sometimes it does not work, needs transfer AutoCAD files into Microstation

Pros: I loved the ease of use and setup\deployment to our end users

Cons: Didn't really see anything specifically not to like.

Cons: Features that may be missing or could be improved in MicroStation include, Improved 3D visualization and manipulation capabilities, Improved collaboration tools, such as dedicated chatrooms, Improved support for scripting and custom application development, Additional customization options for user interfaces, The ability to natively read and export industry-standard file formats. Certain aspects of the product can be challenging to use, primarily due to the complexity of the software. There is a steep learning curve for users unfamiliar with powerful CAD software. Integration with existing business processes can depend on how the organization is structured and how much of a hardware/software foundation is in place.

Pros: Its good for drawings and 3d models. You can use it for parametric modelling. Quality of animation and renderings is decent enough.

Cons: It is not that widely used. It is generally used by transportation planners. And as its not widely used it cant be an alternative to software like autocad for interior design and architecture.

Pros: Ease to use. Work with it for over 20 years. Support has always been helpful.

Cons: Way too expensive for a small company. It is a shame becasue I do like the software.

Pros: It database micro modeling 3D not using pencils or paper but saving time to work quickly as possible.

Cons: Not able to see how to draw 360 degrees circle using micro database

Pros: Generally, it's an incredible program for experts and not such a huge amount for novices since it gives elements and functionalities which is awesome.

Cons: There are no prompts that make sense of what you are fouling up, rather the program simply crashes, passing on the client to think about how he needs to make the program work.

Pros: Microstation is a great program for 3D CAD. The program is quick to get a hang of and has alot of features including rendering.

Cons: It only works on Windows computers making it hard to deploy in a multi OS environment.

Pros: The CAD functionalities on this platform is the best and the data import and export is easy. MicroStation has multiple Construction project management functionalities and the editing of Engineering drawings is simple and great coordination platform.
