Pushpay gives churches the tools to build sustainable generosity—not just process transactions. Set fundraising goals, track progress in real time, and share campaign updates that keep your congregation engaged and informed. Giving is simple for donors with easy one-time and recurring options, while giving dashboards help leaders see where each giver is on their generosity journey—and what might help them take the next step. Custom statements and receipts reinforce your church's brand and make year-end giving seamless. The result: stronger giver relationships, healthier recurring revenue, and more time for ministry instead of administration.

I could go on with details of the let downs. My experience with Flocknote, ParishSoft and Parish Data Systems were much more accommodating to our needs.
Pros: The customer services reps (three so far) are all great at telling us what we want to hear and making promises.
Cons: $7e

Pros: Pushpay is a solid platform for receiving online giving. It works well within our site and gives us intuitive tracking.
Cons: While the platform is certainly solid, it did add another ecosystem for our administration. There is nothing wrong with the service, just limited in a full solution.
Steve G. · Pastor · Non-Profit Organization Management · September 30, 2025
Pros: Pushpay is an incredibly straightforward and easy to use church giving platform. Syncs well with Planning Center Online.

Cons: Our church does not use Pushpay's customized church app feature or church management software because we found it lacking in comparison to competitor's products.
Taylor S. · Student Ministry Director · Religious Institutions · May 1, 2025
It was a positive experience overall and a great on-boarding app to help our church transition into online giving.
Pros: As a church, this app was great for easy access for people to give donations through.
Cons: The cost and percentage PushPay received from donations was a draw-back for us; particularly as a Canadian user.
Monica P. · Lead Pastor · Religious Institutions · April 22, 2025
We have been using Pushpay for 9 years and find it to be a great way to receive donations from anyone, anywhere, at any time. We have not had many issues with the giving platform. The app create platform is a little difficult, but we don't use it for that.
Pros: Pushpay makes it easy for our congregation to donate. The ability to use a qr code or text to give really helps. Almost 50% of giving to our church comes through pushpay.
Cons: The app creating that they have is not simple. Years ago, it was very simple. We wish they would go back to the platform they used then.

Great products, support and team! We are renewing for another year!
Pros: Software functions well. Great sales team. Great support team with quick responses.
Cons: We had an issue with our initial cam but the team was able to quickly reassign our account and our experience improved greatly.
Timothy P. · Assistant Pastor and Worship Leader · Non-Profit Organization Management · January 8, 2025
overall, we have been very satisfied with them.
Pros: flexibility and all in all in one solution
Cons: credit card fees are not the lowest in the market
enaldy l. · Associate Pastor · Non-Profit Organization Management · January 7, 2025
Everyone ensured that we had all the information we needed for the transition. The virtual open-door policy has been a blessing for me and my team.
Pros: I love how efficient, effective, and excellent the presentation and interaction with this platform is. The Pushpay team has been super helpful throughout our process and our goals of immediate needs for such a quick turnaround for our switch. Everyone ensured that we had all the information we needed for the transition. The virtual open-door policy has been a blessing for me and my team.
Cons: The only thing I liked least about Pushpay was that I didn't make the connection with the proper individuals so we could start the transition sooner. They are absolutely amazing

My overall experience has been very good and I would definitely recommend the product. The only reason I did not score a 10 is because we are still in the implementations process.
Pros: The ease of implementation, set up and use is what I like most. I am not from the tech generation and to my surprise, with a coach, I have been able to navigate through the implementations process without too much difficulty. Also, all of the folks I have encountered along the way, have gone above and beyond to assist: [sensitive content hidden] [sensitive content hidden] created a "how to give" video only because a member of our congregation directly reached out to Pushpay for guidance. This is the "above and beyond" and what counts in business.
Cons: Not being able to communicate directly with my Implementations Coach made things difficult in the beginning. Having emails and messages filtered through care@pushpay.com caused a delay and allowed for misunderstandings.
Troyann W. · Executive Director · Religious Institutions · December 5, 2024
Short of “very good” due to lacking the capability to breakdown the donation amount to different funds. I’m hoping they provide this feature to allow donors to put a single amount for example of $120 and be able to break it down to say Tithes & Offerings $100 and Building project $20.
Pros: Easy to use but lacking in the flexibility to provide donor the capability to designate to multiple funds in one entry.
Cons: No capability to breakdown the donation amount to different funds. I’m hoping they provide this feature to allow donors to put a single amount for example of $120 and be able to break it down to say Tithes & Offerings $100 and Building project $20.

Pros: Great in selling their services. User friendly once it was FINALLY set up. ...but it all went downhill from after that.
Cons: PushPay customer service has been incredibly lacking for us. They have failed to complete a simple task of linking the giving through PushPay from our new campus to the bank account for that campus. After a YEAR of emails and phone conversations, all we have are excuses, apologies, our customer service rep wrongly accusing us of not providing the paperwork which we verified was sent and received and he admitted, "Yes, I have it right here"...and they STILL have not resolved the problem. The only way to contact them is through a portal requesting a call back and setting an appointment, which is automatically confirmed on a calendar only to have the rep repeatedly fail to keep. Horrible customer service. We dread having to switch companies and re-educate all of our donors but we are shopping the market and advise others who are considering PushPay to do the same.

Overall has been great they have worked wirhbus
Pros: The ability to have self branded apps and tons ofngeatures
Cons: The only con in the cost it’s very expensive
Kenneth B. · Founder and senior pastor · Religious Institutions · September 12, 2024
We CANNOT get out of our contract! At our last renewal we tried to negotiate going to month to month as we attempted to transition to another service. At first Pushpay seemed accommodating, but once we were able to migrate all our givers to the new platform, Pushpay reneged on working with us and locked us in for another year. So now we’re paying $350/mo for nothing. They are completely unwilling to do anything for us. Save yourself the trouble and work with another company!
Pros: The service is fully adequate. It is just in no way worth the cost! And the idea of being locked into annual contracts with so many services not requiring that is insane.
Cons: Annual contracts and the cost!!!! $350/mo for an app is crazy! Not to mention the additional processing fees!

We recently switched from Tithe.ly to Pushpay. For the difference in price, Pushpay is worth every penny. It is competitively priced and much more robust than Tithe.ly. The user interface and experience is very modern and functional. I would fully recommend looking into this solution for a church of any size. We are a one year old church plant with 30 members, and the pricing is definitely justified and fair for the functionality received.
Pros: Pushpay is highly functional and has a very clean and simple UX and UI. Integration between Pushpay and the church management software are seamless and add a lot of functionality to both platforms.
Cons: As with many softwares, the implementation process is very laborious. Some of the integration and fund management features could likely be set up from the beginning or could be handled by more robust automation.
Nathaniel T. · Associate Pastor · Religious Institutions · March 25, 2024
Pros: PushPay is easy to use and works great with our ChMS. It's very user-friendly on the app side for givers.
Cons: The customer support. There no phone number to reach anyone and you have to do it all electronically, which normally I don't mind, but when it takes 48 hours to get an answer, that's a problem.
Sharon P. · Administrator · Religious Institutions · March 21, 2024
Pros: I love the online giving platform in Pushpay! Very user friendly.
Cons: A feature that I feel could be added is more options to run financial data reports.
Emily D. · Finance Assistant · Religious Institutions · June 13, 2023
overall experience has been good.
Pros: donor management is very good, and payment processing is very good for our church.
Cons: Seems expensive, but works well, so you get what you pay for!
roy e. · Senior PAstor · Religious Institutions · June 13, 2023
Stable, reliable, and a great team to work with.
Pros: Recurring giving is made very easy. We are 87% giving online only.
Cons: Processing charges and fees are the highest in the arena
Joshua S. · Finance and Operations Pastor · Religious Institutions · May 14, 2023
Over the last three to four weeks I have repeatedly attempted to communicate with customer service and have received several times an almost identical email in reply. They are not addressing my concerns and will not cancel with us even though we have paid in full and are not requesting a refund. My only conclusion is to believe that their customer service is a computer and not a person.
Pros: We used PushPay for a number of years when we were with a network of churches. We saw it as a credit card processing company and did not have full access to the product.
Cons: When we became an individual church we attempted to keep the same service. Instead we were over sold a product that was much more than we needed. While attempting to contact customer services we discovered that we were in a two year contract that could not be canceled. Their policies are company centered not customer centered.
Diana P. · Board Chair · Religious Institutions · May 4, 2023
We preferred a different platform
Pros: This product was easy to use and have needed features for church giving
Cons: Expensive compared to the competition and customer service was difficult to work with at times
David B. · Assistant and Student Ministries Pastor · Religious Institutions · January 24, 2023
Would not use ever again
Pros: It was easy to use, but it was hard to set up and costs us to much
Cons: It took forever to set up and it costs us more than we took in
Linda W. · Minister · Religious Institutions · January 12, 2023
While I like the concept of online giving, I think Pushpay is an expensive tool, that you'd have to make sure is worth your investment. There are other online payment tools available, which would be lower in fees. Overall, Pushpay does what it promises, but at a price.
Pros: Pushpay does what they promise, and that is to provide an online experience for those who want to give to their church digitally. I like that that we can give online whenever convenient, and we have the option to give with credit card or bank account, and set recurring as desired. Like any online payment tool, this is super convenient, and eliminates the necessity of carrying money or a check to church. The interface is simple enough that most can use it without issue.
Cons: My biggest gripe with Pushpay are the fees. While it's understandable that that they are a business who needs to make money, many churches have found it a hardship to pay their base fee as well as the percentage they take for the transition. For most churches, this would likely be thousands per year.
Maizy F. · Music Director · Religious Institutions · January 1, 2023
Pushpay's customer service for help with the implementation process is impossible. We were unable to get the help needed to deploy for repeated failure to respond to support requests. The only response we got was thank you for your request or whatever someone will get back to you, and it never happened. On the other hand, Pushpay is very aggressive in followup for payment! As far as we are concerned, they failed to fulfill the contract so we notified them we were opting out on promise that if the service did not produce x percent increase in giving we could opt out — they continue billing us and every effort at communicating with Pushpay has been the same as per above.
Pros: Never got a chance to deploy it because Pushpay refused to respond to support requests.
Cons: Pushpay's customer service for help with the implementation process is worthless.
Jerry S. · Pastor · Religious Institutions · December 2, 2022
The customer support is top notch and every problem is solved
Pros: It reduces manual work and reduces time and we can track everything in a automated way and online giving can be automated.
Cons: online giving is not effective for some regions, we need to provide different ranges because it has standard amount to donate but some people cannot afford that much
Ragul K. · Research Executive II · Management Consulting · November 28, 2022
Pros: I like the ease of setting up recurring gifts and one time donations.
Cons: The interface is a little complex. I would like to see it cleaned up a little and more streamlined.
